20 Best Sweeper For Tile Floors (2023 Updated)

I’ve had my Natural sweeper for many years now. It’s wonderful! No cords to mess with, so it’s perfect for picking up crumbs or stray popcorn after a late night movie. I have never had a problem with the collection bins being too small or overflowing.

I just empty after each use, no big deal. The only complaint I have is hair wrap on the brushes. I have long hair, but on the plus side it picks up hair even on carpeting. Also, I have never had the handle fall off, ever.

I put the sweeper together myself, and I have painful psoriatic arthritis in my hands. It’s very easy to put together. I use this sweeper on carpeting, hard floor and on wood floors.

Kudos to Canada Post for getting an unsealed box from Brampton to my doorstep with nothing missing. Be warned – the machining of the threaded parts is very sloppy and unpredictable. Sections of the handle were extremely difficult to connect.

After repeated trials we managed to connect all but one of the handle sections but there was one which could not be mated with any of the others. Nothing seemed to work – not brute force, not WD40 or any other lubricant so we put it all to one side to be returned the next day.

But I’m a determined person and decided to try again. Noticing that the inside threads were very rough I looked around for some tool that would fit inside. And there it was – the emery board I use for smoothing my fingernails.

And it worked!.

I am so very pleased with this sweeper. I have had antique ones for years; and though I loved them too, the brushes were worn from wear so that pickup was not all that good. I decided to replace them and first ordered one of these.

I just can’t believe how well it works, and everywhere! Rugs, carpets, bare floors, even along the edges. It’s lighter than the old ones, and that’s a plus too. A bit smaller as well, another plus as it gets underneath things extremely well and stores in small little places.

Upon receipt of my first one, I immediately ordered the second. YES! I’d recommend this to anyone. Oh, it even picks up hair with ease. With my cats, that’s usually a problem even with expensive vacuums, but not with this little sweeper.

I’m almost embarrassed to say that in my 25 years of life I have never bought a vacuum cleaner. I’ve mostly avoided renting houses with carpet for this exact reason, as the sound of vacuums really annoys me (as does anyone with sensitive hearing).

About 6 months ago I started renting an apartment with carpet in one room, and just as I was about to cave and buy a vacuum, I found this little gadget. The first time I used it on my carpet, I’m not kidding, I had to empty it like three times.

It works so well, I love it! It also works on hard floor, but not as well (it kind of just pushes everything around into a pile). That being said, I mistakenly left it in the care of my boyfriend one evening, and though I was THRILLED that he cleaned the house while I was away, one of the threading on the handle attachments snapped off while he was using it.

Thankfully I was able to rig it back in a way that it is still completely functional, however if it snaps again it’ll need a new handle entirely. That definitely won’t stop me from recommending this product as it’s quiet, functional, and I still don’t have to buy a vacuum cleaner.

Handle isn’t long enough and is rather thin and flimsy. Sections screw onto each other but loosen as you sweep. Although not difficult, it can be awkward and messy to empty. Will not pick up anything on vinyl flooring, which is the main reason I bought it.

Would not recommend.

Needed something easy for her to use in the whole house instead of the vacuum (which I use). This quickly allows cleaning the floors (wood and carpet) where our huge Newfy lays and sheds. Yes, the brushes do get long, long, hair wrapped around (but some hair and other floor stuff does go into the waste holder) and it takes a few minutes to remove it (but watching tv and enjoying a coffee makes it a fair time to relax).

We have had ours for several years and contemplating either getting a new battery or a second sweeper. Ours has been used more than once every day so feel the battery gave us it’s best! Great household item for any disabled home owner.

I wanted to love this sweeper. It was easy to assemble, lightweight, cordless. I charged it for 16 hours, anxiously awaiting its use. I have 4 cats, and 3 dogs with long hair. I’ve been sweeping hair and cat litter off the porcelain tile daily.

One day I thought – “I’ll get an electric broom – do away with the dust pan and that little line of dirt that never sweeps into the pan” This little sweeper is awful. The dog hair basically get left on the floor, or twisted in the rotating brush, or wrapped around the wheels.

It skips over any cat litter laying in the grout between the tiles. If the cheap plastic wheels happen to roll over a piece of cat litter, it crushes it and leaves a long mark on the floor. I gave it two days.

The second day I got my broom out, swept the floor after using the sweeper, then washed all the crushed cat litter marks off the floor. It’s going back.

Not a vacuum but a wide, stiff, spinning whisk brush and catch bin that picks up surprising amount of debris that would quickly clog ordinary vacuums including “shop vacs. ” Ideal for outdoor rugs, mats, carpets.

Inside – garage and basement, pet and plant or garden areas. Small twigs, pebbles, dirt, clumps, hair, spilled cereals or messy granular (litter) whatever. all get swept up almost silently. Much lighter and quieter than noisy vacuums.

Tried it and immediately bought a second. Use both! Long battery life, too. A remarkable product that gets little recognition— is overshadowed by expensive noisy vacuum cleaners.

The Dual Action sweeper is fantastic on tile, not so much on carpet. Low pile carpet will be fine. Did a kitty litter test and on tile, the first pass got everything up. For the money though, I think I’d rather have invested in a Fuller.

With Fuller you get a smaller cleaning area but this is why they are so good ironically. Although the Dual Action sweeper does a good job, it just doesn’t say “quality” to me. The rubber wheels that engage the brushes when pushed back and forth seem a bit cheap and appear as though they will wear quickly.

The Dual Action works well both forward and backward equally. The front brush is thicker than the back although this hasn’t seem to make a difference in results. The nylon(?) bristles are lightweight (more so than I would’ve thought) and I would imagine, within due time, they would fray.

I will update this review (posted on 01/23/2019) if and when that were to ever happen. The handle is broken down into 4 threaded pieces, which screw on together. I have noticed this is cause for the handle coming loose at times and need of re-tightening.

Don’t tighten those down to tight as it seems possible the threads will strip. Four stars, it’s good if you need something a bit bigger than most. If you want a quality sweeper that will last a long time, get a Fuller.

We spent a good deal of time and a couple of days deciding which of the many sweepers available to try out. Although we have only one area rug in our living room and two small area rugs in our bedroom, we use this sweeper very effectively on those, on our laminate flooring and picking up cat litter by the cat’s box on our bathroom tile.

This sweeper has two nice big compartments and I emptied them twice in one go-round in our apartment. The photo shows all the cat hair, leavings from her scratching post and other small particles from our carpets.

It works so-so on cat litter, but better than nothing. It fits under most furniture and under the bed and has a nice long reach there (adjustable). The only thing I had to do was unravel hairs from around the sweeper brush that were remainders of 3 uses.

On laminate and tile you sometimes have to lift and place the sweeper on top of dust bunnies to get it to pull them up, the corner brushes capture some things but do not throw them into the capture bin so those sometimes need to be foot directed toward the bin.

This sweeper does not catch on the carpet weave. It is heavy enough to not flip around in use, but light enough to handle and accomplish what you want to do without having to pull out and set up a vacuum cleaner.

For all these reasons we found that this is a great little product and we would buy it again if necessary.

I bought this because I got mad! I’m so sick of spending $100 on an electric vacuum cleaner that gets clogged and stops working every 6 months. You can’t take them apart to fix because they have special screws.

Decided to buy thus mechanical one. Rubbermaid has always had a reputation for quality items. This is no exception. It’s rated as commercial which is even better. It cleans better than my old electric vac.

I can tuck this in the corner and grab it for a quick cleanup. It adapts well from carpeted to hardwood flooring with no manual adjustment. We have two long haired people in the house plus two shedding old cats.

It picked up the hair great. Was surprised at how much it picked up that the vac missed. Don’t hesitate to buy it. You won’t be sorry. Super quiet too if you like to clean while others are sleeping. No running for a broom and dustpan.

No bending. Empty the tray in the garbage can at waist level. No filters to replace. Most of the maintenance is getting hairs out of the brush. They provide a special comb for that.

This just is not a good carpet sweeper. The first issue within a month of using, it unscrews easily while in use where it screws into itself on the stem and particularly the handle. We tried duct tape, that didn’t work.

Now it just looks a little ragged. When this picks up hair, it is really difficult to clean completely and it makes it even more difficult to push and clean the floor. We are not happy, and it’s turned into a frustrating work for my kid.

My husband actually just uses it because she can’t at this point. It doesn’t roll in a manner where it’s achievable for her to use it. Too hard to push, comes apart easily, just doesn’t feel like a quality piece of equipment and does not help build a sense of accomplishment bc a child can’t even use this after a few months.

I actually held off on writing this review bc I was thinking it just needed a quality cleaning inside but even that is far too difficult.

Montessori products aren’t just for kids! Last year I bought this for my daughter and her children for Christmas. It was on her wish list. My 90 year old mother liked it, so I bought one for her 91st birthday.

She said, “I love my new carpet sweeper. It works great!” And that’s an incredible compliment from a woman who we lovingly tease as a “clean freak” and who still maintains her home, but doesn’t always like to haul out the big heavy vacuum cleaner.

This is a great tool for young and old, at a great price.

This was meant for me, an adult, not for a child. I wanted a small light carpet sweeper to use when I just had a little surface dirt to pick up, crumbs under the table, some little pieces of paper. It was bulky to get out the large regular carpet sweeper for things like this.

This small carpet sweeper works just as well as a large one and it’s easier to go under the dining room table or under chairs. I was surprised and pleased that it came with its own “comb” to clean the bristles, which was something I needed for the large one as well.

With all three sections screwed together the handle is fine for me even though I’m on the tall side. The only problem I had was that the three sections of the handle didn’t screw together very easily, they were tight, and needed some pressure to get it all together.

I suppose this is a plus if children will be using it, they wouldn’t be able to unscrew them, it needed some muscle power to put it all together. Other than that I’m very pleased with it.

I ♥️ the Bissell Sweep-Up Cordless Sweeper! It arrived quickly, was packaged very well, was simple to put together, and works great! I needed it because my husband works nights and sleeps during the day, so I can’t use the noisy vacuum cleaner.

I have all hardwood floors in my house and I do not own a vacuum. I got an area rug recently, and I didn’t want to purchase a vacuum just for that. I got this sweeper and it does the job perfectly, and it is extremely easy to store! It was very economical and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, power and convenience of the A9T-Auto. The suction in ‘turbo’ mode is excellent. I did not expect the A9T to be as powerful as our AC-powered 2200W barrel vacuum, which has a power head.

After giving an area of carpet 10 passes using the power head of our barrel vacuum, I was surprised that several passes with the A9T-Ultra in ‘turbo’ mode managed to lift additional dirt from the carpet.

The stick vacuum is easy to use, being lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. The swivelling multi-surface power head and extendable shaft make it easy to vacuum around and underneath objects. A major plus is that the multi-surface power head does not seem to clog up with long hair.

What little remains on the head is easy to remove. In contrast, the power head of our barrel vacuum requires disassembly and matted hair cut free with a sharp knife after every use. The ‘Kompressor’ lever has also proven effective at pushing off long hair wrapped around the primary cyclonic mesh filter, prior to auto-emptying in the tower.

Having two batteries is a major convenience. Although only lasting seven or eight minutes each in ‘turbo’ mode, we can vacuum our entire (carpeted) four bedroom house on the two batteries. In comparison, to clean the house with the barrel vacuum required two to three times as long and was certainly more onerous.

The vacuum is easy to disassemble and clean, and being able to wash the filters under the tap is a major advantage. The dust bag automatically sealing when removed from tower ensures there is no mess.

After one use, my daughter decided she wanted to replace her barrel vacuum with an A9T-Auto. There are some negatives, although minor. It would be useful to be able to separately purchase more of the additional tools (such as those provided with A9T-Ultra), and some method of being able to clip the crevice tool to the shaft of the stick when in use would be an advantage.

For those with small or weak hands, removal of the battery can be difficult. Increasing the suction from ‘power’ to ‘turbo’ mode would have been much more convenient with a single press of the ‘+’ button, rather than needing to hold it down for several seconds.

It would also have been convenient if the batteries charged in tandem. The dust bags are quite expensive and not designed to be reusable, although being supplied with three with the purchase was very handy.

Overall, the A9T-Auto is an excellent powerful and easy to use vacuum cleaner and highly recommended.

I was given the privilege of being able to test this vacuum from LG and my first impression was whoa this looks amazing quickly followed by a wave of panic thinking “ holy hell that’s a lot of parts “ But I have to say it was reasonably easy to put together with the instructions! I was extremely shocked at the price as this definitely fall is the higher end price range and to be fair personally I don’t think it’s worth the price! There was parts I loved and others were well a let down ! My kids usually love helping with the vacuuming but unfortunately this hand set is quite heavy and can be difficult to maneuver for little hands and a mum trying to juggle a toddler of their hip.

The small head seemed all but useless as it was difficult to get it to give a good clean of a surface! The large head well I have so many bits i personally dislike firstly is doesn’t eat Lego and it also doesn’t like stickers and both these things till be throw at you like a projectile when you lift the vacuum up and it’s still going and I can confirm it hurts when they connect.

Yes it’s sleek and stylish and will suit most design styles but it is bulkier than I expected! The mop head is easy to use I have to say I love the laminate instructions so there is not reason worry about ripped or water damaged instructions! So if you really want to spoil yourself with an very up market vacuum that may or may not vacuum up what you want to vacuum up give it a go.

The 2 batteries make it super easy and quick to swap them over and they both charge at the same time one in the handset and one in the stand. Unfortunately a mum of toddlers and older kids I don’t have the time to pick up every tiny piece off the floor so I can vacuum it without having it throw something at me.

The cyclonic wind that blows from the handset while is use is a tad intimidating if you have long hair as when you lean down your hair is super close to it. My family have all used it and had similar dislikes but all in all the carpet feels softer after using it as it doesn’t flatten the fibers and it feel soft and clean after each vacuum.

As a vacuum it’s perfectly acceptable. It does require a fair amount of regular maintenance (tip clean the interior dust trap weekly) but it does a good job picking up dust and hair. It does a terrable job of picking up anything the size of a small pebble or larger and most of the time it will just spit it back out.

The mop function on the other hand is awful. Really, don’t waste the extra hundred dollars for this particular version. The water can’t be controlled and just slowly drips out. Per the manual it only uses plain water so no soapy solutions to get the floors really clean.

The one time we used the mop function, the spin head on the vacuum part stopped working the next time we tried to use it. I don’t think it was related but we did have to return the unit for a replacement as a result.

The kompressor feature is nice to push down pet hair and results in having to empty it less often but sometimes pet hair gets stuck on the other side. When that happens more gets caught up there until you take the whole inside apart and clean it out.

Battery life is acceptable and I can usually get about 800 square feet of carpet on the second setting before one battery runs out. On the most powerful setting though I can maybe get a full bedroom before it runs out.

The extra battery it includes is a bonus. Also the stand works great and has a spot to charge the spare battery when you aren’t using it. Bottom line, this product is good but don’t waste your money on the version with the mop function, for the price you can get a standalone electric mop that out performs this one by miles.

Also full price is too much for this unit. I got it on sale for $550 and feel like that price is on the high end of what it is worth.

This sweeper makes the place look as if it’s been vacuumed. I really like it that it does hard floors as well as carpet. I have a fluffy white dog, and it picks up his fur. It was an investment. It’s so small that it looks like a toy, but it doesn’t act like one.

The cheery green is a bonus. It takes up hardly any space in my tiny laundry, a real bonus. The only weakness is the handle; the end part doesn’t fit well and needed some tape to keep it in place.

This is the second Bissell sweeper we’ve bought through eBay. The first works OK but it was getting old! We decided to get a new one and keep the old one for backup. Both do a great job cleaning our rugs, carpets, and floors.

I think it does a better job than our electric vacuum. and it gives you great arm and shoulder exercise! I would recommend this sweeper to anyone wanting quick or extensive cleaning.

I purchased the Bissell carpet Sweeper for my 80 yr old Mum. She’s used a few different carpet sweepers over her lifetime and this has proved to be the best of the lot! It’s lighter and easier to manoeuvre, but the best thing is it picks up more dust and dirt than others.

She used it the first for the first time the day after the floors were vacuumed, and it still picked up lots that the vacuum had not!! Brilliant!!!.

I love how perfectly this item picks cat hair out of my carpets! It even grabs cat litter! With its three spinning bristles, this item grabs tons of strings and hair. When it stops being as effective it is time to clean the bristles and empty the trays.

I love that the two trays are connected so the little items can pour out, while both sides can open up so the cat hair comes out. This item works better than my vacuum now that my vacuum’s motor went out and it just grabs things with its bristles.

With all the bristles this item has, it’s much more effective. Plus the blue is a beautiful light teal color with an attractive pattern decorating the edges. This would be a great item for a college student or newly married couple.

Just received my green BISSEL. It was easy to put together and good to go in less than 2 minutes. I have a black shorthair Chihuahua and got the sweeper mostly for his fur shedding. Although I vacuumed 2 days ago the carpets and wood flooring I couldn’t believe how much (mostly) fur the little green sweeper still picked up.

Cleaning the 2 compartments is easy as is cleaning the brushes. I am happy with my “quick picker upper” that comes so handy when you want to do just a quick refresh of your carpets and/or other flooring.

I sure would recommend it to anybody.

I had two rechargeable swivel sweepers but the batteries “Pooped” out in no time. The sweepers were then totally useless and new batteries cost almost as much as the whole sweeper. This carpet sweeper is wonderful.

Just push it over carpeting and rugs and it picks up everything. Easy to clean debris out of the holders. Doesn’t take a lot of muscle. Sturdy with a wide sweep area. No more frustration of trying to charge batteries.

It’s a great product at a terrific price.

Awesome Sauce! Yes, this wonderful little non electric carpet sweeper works great on my low pile carpeting, and runners, and the regular linoleum floors. It picks up everything in its path, is a gem to clean, and a very neat fold up sweeper that is easy to store.

Needed a quick dog hair, dog food pick up without the cord to replace a swifter / vac that I used to love, but the battery never lasted long enough , then it completely was useless when batt died since the battery wasn’t replaceable once it died.

So I first tried the swivel sweeper, liked the design, but it only worked one time and when I went to use it it was dead on the second use and never ca,e back to life. Luckily, I was able to return it.

Loved the easy swivel of it , but that didn’t matter when it was dead. So, while at Walmart I bought this on sale , less than 50 bucks. Saved the receipt. But thank God, it is still on the second recharge, and it’s been quite a few months.

Use it once every week, and it never cuts me off in the middle of using it. Have a lot of floor area, and it picks up a lot of hair from my shepherd. It’s good for a quick pick up. Picks up stray dog food too! But, with every good thing comes a price.

And it’s the clean up of the tiny wheels and brush roll that are a must every time u use it. But if u are lazy, u can just skip the brush roll clean ing and just dump the sliding drawer like dirt compartment.

it’s really easy, and if u don’t have the ton of hair that tangles up everywhere, every use, u can probably get away with just emptying the dirt compartment every other time. It doesn’t swivel like I’d prefer it, but it beats the heck out of a broom and dustpan Plus it sucks up the floating dog hair that won’t stay put using the oil’ broom.

I bought this on a whim in August, but didn’t unbox it until about 3 weeks ago. After I bought it I read the reviews – good and bad. One reviewer stated theirs quit charging after 4 months. They were lucky, I’ve had mine for 4 months, charged it ONCE and now it will not charge.

I’ve plugged it in, re-plugged it in, changed outlets and NOTHING! This is kind of expensive for a ‘disposable’ sweeper. I noticed the charging light never came on after that first charge, so the charge did last awhile.

But, now. nothing. I’m going to take it back to Walmart even though I’ve had it awhile since they have been pretty good about taking returns pretty far out. As for how it worked when it was charged? That is the only reason I gave it two stars.

Great little sweeper we use around the Guinea Pig cage on builder grade carpet. Our Dyson Ball just didn’t pickup hay that was dropped or scattered by my kid. Even the Cordless Shark ION flex didn’t work well – it was able to pick up the hay but clogged the vacuum pipe.

Basically the two best vacuums out there aren’t that good for big or long pieces of debris on the ground. Now this sweeper is AWESOME for large debris. It doesn’t care how big, the shape, or really the surface.

It picked up the hay and pellet food my kid dropped and scattered around the room playing with the rodent. It even picked up the sticker googly eyes and little beads he spilled from his craft bins. Lego pieces – well he’s not happy about this sweep now cause it just scoops them up.

This is about $10-15 more than a manual sweeper, but totally worth the extra money. Now Walmart SCORCHED Amazon on delivery and price for this product – it showed up the same day and was cheaper. Awesome job on this one Walmart!.

The Karcher cordless broom is awesome, so light, easy to use, no cords getting in the way, easy to empty and clean. I highly recommend this especially to the older person or a person that struggles with an ordinary vacuum cleaner.

Ok you may still need the vacuum for getting into those tight corners. I carry a little brush with me to get those area I can’t get with the broom and then the broom just sucks it up.

My husband and I took to the task of putting the sweeper together. Results: the struts (set of 3 bars) have a plastic piece to hold them together. We had to use WD40 to get the connection pieces (2) to fit into the end of the struts and also used the WD40 to connect the handle to one end of the struts and the far end to the sweeper itself.

WOW! There was no other way the pieces would fit together without the lubrication, and even then we had to use quite a bit of force to fit. Now for the trial: the sweeper worked fine, the charger worked fine, and the indicator light also.

The struts are flimsy, and could easily bend, so we had to be careful handling them when struggling to put them together with the connections. Other than that, the sweeper is OK. Just be gentile.

As a person who suffers from depression and low mobility, I don’t always want to go through the trouble of getting out a vacuum. THIS helps a great deal. All I have to do is grab it and go! It keeps my floor cleaner and it gives me exercise without wearing me out.

I build model cars so I’m constantly leaving pieces of plastic and little screws on the floor. This little dude picks most of that up. Also great for pet owners. My parents got theres to pick up sticks their dog leaves behind.

I was so impressed with how big the sticks were that it picks up that I bought my own! It’s quiet, effective, and gives you a little exercise pulling it effortlessly back and fourth. Gives you steps on your Fitbit.

Easy to dump out, folds up and even disassembles easyly for storage and travel.

This Bissell appliance may be good for a carpets or rug, but it’s definitely not good on hard floors. I really wanted to like this sweeper, too, especially because I cannot do broom sweeping because of my allergies, and can’t run a vacuum for that reason either, so I thought this sweeper would be the ideal solution.

This sweeper, however, doesn’t pick up anything at all on hard surfaces. I guess it’s back to the drawing board for me.

I bought this for the sole purpose of cleaning up around my cat litter box. I bought this model instead of the more expensive one with the bending handle because it is slightly smaller for tighter spaces and I dont need the hassle of a handle that bends in half.

I have two cats, using a large high smooth plastic storage box. I place it in a corner on a 4. 5 x 4. 5 ft piece of indoor outdoor carpet on a hardwood floor. I use this sweeper EVERY day for 4-5 minutes ( sometimes twice) to run around the hardwood floor area and to sweep the carpet area.

The carpet catches most (alot) of litter particles ( no matter what kind you buy) and this little sweeper picks up every single particle from the carpet and the floor, into a neat little pan that empties in a second.

I only need to charge it every 7 to 10 days !!! I have been using it for 7 months and it still does a full charge in 4-5 hours. As recommended I NEVER leave it on the charger after the green light goes out.

cause I know these batteries will have a short life if you over-charge. I used to sweep and sweep and swear over cat litter particles and never get them all up. no more. I can not live without my little Shark.

There are several issues at stake here. Firstly, the sweeper offers two separate levels of height to clean different flooring, but there seems to be a problem as I can detect no change in adapting from one to the other.

Secondly, I am so terribly disappointed at not being able to remove the rotating brush for cleaning; this is important as I can’t remove some hair caught up at one end, resulting in limitation of the motion of my sweeper.

I am still using my old Ewbank after 30 years – yeah, I took care of it -perfectly easy to take out the inner brush and give the item a complete cleanup when needed. All I needed was new rubbers on the old wheels, which you cannot get hold of now! What on earth is going on at Ewbank? I had no hesitation in ordering my Evo 3 and am sorely disappointed.

It will be returned.

The best thing about this product is that it makes no noise like a normal vacuum cleaner. I have an electric cordless, but this is good for late nights for those spills, crumbs etc. It is lightweight, easy to empty, very practical and for the price good value for money.

This is. a must but as a back up have the option of an electrical vacuum cleaner. This product comes highly recommended.

This review is for the ewbank evolution 3 manual carpet sweeper which I bought as we have just installed solar panels and do not want to be running a 1 or 2 kW hoover. To further complicate things we have a new burgundy carpet and a Jack Russell with very stubborn has that hooked themselves into the carpet threads and are notoriously difficult to get out.

I have to admit I was a bit sceptical about how well a manual carpet sweeper would work but I can assure you that this sweeper is truly awesome and it picks up way more dog hairs and other debris from the carpet than the Panasonic hoover.

I don’t think our carpets have ever been so clean and in addition to all this it is extremely light and easy to operate and it is lovely not having to log a heavy electric hoover around and be inconvenienced by the electric wire and the loud noise.

I all in all this is one of the best buys I have ever made and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone over an electric hoover.

It does not work as expected; the handle connects to sweeper in the most ‘primitive’ way. There are slots on body of the sweeper that are suppose to hold it in place when you sweep that don’t work properly when you push-pull on rugs, i.

e. it flips up on the ‘backstroke’ thus it only sweeps on the front stroke. Plus handle pipe connecting sweeper to handle is too short with no adjustment capability. And, it doesn’t pickup very well even on the front stroke! Certainly nothing even close to the manual push sweeper of the past.

But, what can you expect for $20 bucks. a lot more from a name like ‘Bissell’ in a sweeper. Ken Bee.

I have always seen employees at restaurants using these sweepers to tidy up in between diners and at the end of theie shifts. I never thought they were relly doing anything, but wow, was I wrong!! This sweeper is fantastic! It picks up EVERYTHING; it’s lightweight and perfect for when you just do not want to haul out the big boy vacuum.

It’s great for letting younger kids begin to help out with chores, also. So, great. I bought two: One for the office and one for home!.

Pros – It does a pretty good job despite the fact there is no suction. It has a low profile so it goes under some furniture too low for a vacuum cleaner. It is small and lite weight. It picks up dirt the dogs tracked inside the house.

Cons – You still have to cut off dog hair wound around its bristle head with a scissors (with annoying frequency). When the bristle gets “full” the sweeper leaves wads of dog hair behind on the floor )just like a vacuum cleaner head).

You have to be careful or you can cut the sweeper bristles off with a scissor when removing dog hair. Though light weight, you really have to push the sweeper across rugs/carpet because there is a lot of drag for some reason–More so than with a vacuum cleaner.

The above is my experience using it every other day and even in rooms the Collies don’t have access to. Conclusion – If you are looking for an easier way to get up dog (Collie) hair shed on the floor, the Fuller Brush Sweeper is NOT an improvement from my point of view.

However, it would be great for owners of small non-shedding breeds like Poms or mini poodles. Or maybe even a cat? Keep in mind, you need to use it at least every other day.

Remembering my Mom and other friends always talking about the Fuller Brush Man (they had quality products). So when I saw the add for this Electrostatic Carpet and Floor Sweeper I was hoping for that exact quality of yesteryear.

I’m comparing it to it’s closest competitor and must say Fuller is still by far the better product producer as to quality control. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star is because it suffers the same flaw in quality control as it’s closest competitor.

The handle is four piece of screw in parts. As you work back and forth cleaning your carpet or floors the pieces become loose and I am forever tightening them up. I actually still have a higher quality carpet sweeper that was produced by it’s competitor (it is at least twenty five years old), I still use it but can’t replace the Brush as they do not produce it any longer.

For me Quality is everything, but not so much with most production anymore. I still would purchase this Fuller product over it’s closest competitors though, but I will still be remembering the Quality that we paid for in yesteryear!.
