20 Best Store Bought Lemon Pepper Seasoning (2023 Updated)

I am addicted to this stuff! Have been for years. Best lemon pepper chicken ever. I also use it on pork, potatoes, in salads, anything that needs a kick. When camping I put thin sliced chicken breast, this seasoning, a squirt of lemon juice and a pat of butter in tin foil packets and cook on the grill or over the fire.

YUM! Might be a little salty for some people, but I LOVE it!.

I don’t like ground pepper in my food, but lemon pepper is my total love. This lemon pepper from McCormick is very good. It has a good texture and tastes good. You also don’t need to add a lot of it, so it will last for a long time.

Once when I was very young; I added lemon pepper seasoning to my mac n’ cheese. It was a game changer. Since then; I cannot eat mac n’ cheese without it. I have tried different brands of lemon pepper only to be disappointed and have always went right back to McCormick’s.

I do use it on other things but until you add it to any mac n’cheese; you just don’t know. I recently had a baby and gave her mac n’ cheese. She spit it out. Next time I’m adding the McCormick’s!.

Larry’s Lemon Pepper is so good on Salmon!!!! It’s a great price with the best flavor. Just add a little olive oil, butter, asparagus and fresh lemons and it makes the most beautiful and tasty dish. A little goes along way so don’t go overboard and let the flavors present on its own.

Love Lawry’s lemon pepper! Just as it says on the tin, very peppery and lemony with a very slight saltiness. It is amazing on so many things, as a marinade for meat or just to sprinkle on anything that needs a kick! I have a recipe I make of bagels, cream cheese, Lowry’s lemon pepper, red onions, capers and tomatoes sprinkled with rock salt.

I just received my lemon pepper and I was sadly disappointed. Compared to store bought lemon pepper, this tastes very similar. I was hoping that this was the same lemon pepper used at Hot Wings Cafe on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, CA.

The lemon pepper is pretty great, but fell just short of awesome for me. I was hoping that it was going to pack a super lemon punch, but after sniffing it compared to a store-bought container of lemon pepper, it didn’t smell as strongly of lemon.

Now, I’m still giving it 4/5 stars because Spice Jungle has a finer grind, and I’m certain that their ingredients are less processed and better sourced. I wound up mixing the two together and expect to get some pretty awesome grilled chicken dishes out of it! As a side note, all of the other spices I ordered are amazing and I’d give them five stars!.

Really like. We are using it more like a seasoning than a rub. I find I’m reaching for this instead of that store bought lemon pepper which sticks together & you have to beat it on the edge of the counter to get anything to come out.

Tone’s has the very best lemon Pepper seasoning hands down! I’ve tried them all. My take is that Tone’s Lemon Pepper is far and above their competition! That zestyness lemon flavor pops and is well blended with the peppers.

Goes on just about anything and then gives it a kick up! Great on chicken especially wings! Love it on steamed broccoli and baked potatoes, not to mention it’s get in homemade soup! Great on veggies! Don’t count out casseroles, yep great stuff! Lemon Pepper pork chops, wow! Haven’t tried it on fish yet but it will be coming up next! I just ordered 2 larger bottles and about to recorder.

I use this Lemon Pepper practically every day for cooking. A large 28 oz shaker bottle such as these will last for about a year, even though I use it daily. I use it on beef steaks, fish, and hamburger dishes.

For fish, I put it in my breading, and for steaks I put it directly on the meat before it goes on the grill. I also find it invaluable for bringing out the taste in fried onions, they are just not the same without the lemon pepper.

I am a lemon pepper person, I love it on almost everything. I’ve tried all the store brands and I know when the company creates real lemon pepper versus lemon pepper salt. This brand has more salt than the other primary ingredients.

I will not be buying this again.

OMG, where has then seasoning been all my life?!?! I recently discovered the Goya All-Purpose Seasonings after a friend mentioned it and then a random YouTube video about “the best” fried chicken. I started with the standard seasoning in a jumbo sized from BJ’s and I’ve never looked back!!! As I discovered other varieties with pepper or lemon, I purchased them.

FYI, this seasoning does have salt but it’s mixed with other spices and makes everything taste better. As a matter of fact, it’s become a staple in my pantry and I use it every day, so does my daughter when she cooks.

I LOVE cucumbers, the past year I must eat several a day. I love them plain but when I slice them up, add a splash of oil vinegar then sprinkle on some Adobo – YUMMY!!!!!!.

If its made with Goya it isn’t good. This is something that I always have in my home. It can be used to season meat, or add flavor to beans and so many other delicious meals. It also comes in Low Sodium as well as with and without pepper.

Trust me just sprinkle this on your meat and cook. Its fantastic.

1st time purchasing and have used once. The scent is stronger than the other organic brands I purchase and the price point was high for onion powder but I love trying new products. Seems like a winner after 1st use! Definite onion flavor profile, yet not overpowering, added a nice mild onion flavor to the chicken I was pan roasting in cast iron for a salad.

I absolutely love this brand of garlic powder. It’s organic, and it’s very fresh, so I trust it in my recipes. I also keep it in the door of my refrigerator, so it stays fresh longer and it’s handy when I need it.

I’ve used other brands, including Simply Organic. I bought this for the first time about 6 months ago and knew that I now would be purchasing no other brands. If you like or love garlic like I do, you will appreciate the wonderful and exceptional garlic fragrance along with the superb taste! Btw, I used to use garlic salt to flavor salads, etc.

, but now instead use this garlic powder along with sea salt.

Lemon pepper is probably one of my favorite seasonings for chicken, and this 22 oz. shaker from Durkee does not disappoint! Generously sized and easy to handle, plus the flavor is great!

Actually, the title is misleading. I use the SH when I want a little more subtle flavor, and I use McCormick California Style Lemon Pepper seasoning when I want some more zing. Both are great and there’s a right time to use either.

This is the perfect season for chicken piccata! I wrap boneless chicken breasts in bacon, sprinkle both sides with pepper lemon seasoning and sauté in olive oil. Add my lemon juice, capers and butter and cook until the chicken is 165 degrees.

I used this on chicken wings, trying to get that perfect lemon pepper wet! But I was disappointed. I found the MSG to be super overpowering over the other flavors.

Several years ago I was traveling south and west for a meeting on Interstate 44. The road was monotonous, the traffic heavy, the weather quite warm and the seat in my vehicle uncomfortable. It was time for a break; a stretch of the legs, relieve the bladder and wash out the red eyes.

By the drink area were dispensers that appeared to be fresh brewed iced tea. One sip confirmed that assumption was incorrect. Nearby was a small box with packets of True Lemon. I was unfamiliar with this product and packaging, but figured it might make the dreadful swill somewhat drinkable.

It was a 44 oz cup, so I opened two and poured them in, gave a quick stir with the straw and put on the lid. A new sip on the way to the counter to pay and WOW! Oh YES! Lemon! This made my day and my trip.

That evening in the hotel I looked up the product and saw that ordering online was easy. I have been a faithful customer ever since, not only using the lemon and lime in drinks of tea or plain tap water, but in cooking as well.

It is also helpful to shake a little into warm salt water, it sure makes gargling a lot better. I always travel with my True friends now.

I temporarily lost my bottle of True Lemon today and within 5 minutes literally began to panic, LOL. I mean, I even put my glasses and headlamp on. I thought I had a spare bottle, but I didn’t. Thankfully I found the bottle I’d been using daily but realized that I needed to stock back up, so here I am.

I had been in the middle of preparing my usual arugula salad (which in its most basic form is simply baby arugula, good olive oil, True Lemon, and salt. Maybe black pepper. If I’m feeling fancy, I might add feta and/or toasted slivered almonds and/or avocado chunks.

But even just the basic 4-ingredients salad is phenomenal. Trust me, as someone who gets tired of food easily, you could eat it every day. ) This product is also critical for my seafood dishes, lemon garlic shrimp, sprinkling over broiled salmon, etc.

It’s pretty much as good as regular fresh lemon juice except that you can make it more concentrated and it doesn’t dilute the other flavors. OOH, one more suggestion – bake cod fillets with a thick topping made from crushed pistachios, parmesan cheese, True Lemon, garlic (fresh or granulated), butter or butter substitute, and a dash of salt.

ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. Like, restaurant-quality good. Mash all the toppings together (you can add bread crumbs as well if you want. ) The topping gets nice and toasty in the oven, but the lemon is really what makes it pop and balances the richness of the butter, parm, and pistachios.

(Just don’t overcook your cod!) (True lime is just as amazing, but I just find myself using the lemon more often. ).

All of the Mrs. Dash products first and foremost taste great AND DON’T HAVE SALT!!! For no other reason, Americans ingest way more salt than they should. and think about it. you can always add salt if you feel you need more of the salt taste.

I use this in some salads, and some chicken and fish recipes, also with pizza, Italian and pastas. All of the Mrs. Dash seasonings list on the bottle their best uses, and I agree. The mixes are fabulous.

I don’t think it works with meat, but they have a BETTER THAN McCormick steak seasoning for steaks which is simply called steak seasoning that’s amazing!!! NO SALT And I use the chicken seasoning with chicken, pork and turkey (I even use on Thanksgiving turkey in lieu of salt along with all the natural turkey spices.

As far as ease of use, I like that it has either a shake side or a measuring spoon side. the cap is a little tight but I open the cap before I start getting seasoning on raw foods, and the bottle washes well.

Also like the bottles are plastic.

I really love to use this for simmering with lean chicken (to make chkn salad). I moderate salt. This is a wonderful flavor boost to help you avoid bland and still be able to cut out salty mixes. I appreciate Ms dash so much.

I like walmart mixes too, but have to pay attention to the ingredient list. eg: their lemon pepper whops ya with sodium. PS. I bought the large bottle as shown here and I have used a little over half since Summer of 2021.

I love this seasoning. You can use as much or as little as you want. I like to use a lot. I thought that everything needed salt to have a good flavor. Wrong! Doesn’t matter which Mrs. Dash blend you use, they all taste great! I love the Garlic and Herb seasoning.

I use it on Tilapia and it always comes of bursting with flavor. You can’t go wrong with this. Now it’s not a finely ground seasoning, so if you don’t mind small pieces of garlic or any other spice in the container, then you’ll like Mrs.

Dash.

Badia Lemon Pepper has true lemon flavor. If you love lemon you will like this lemon pepper. I use it on chicken and fish. Great product.

i put this on everything!!! i can’t live without this in my house. i’ve already gone through almost two containers in a few months. i love to cover chicken in this and bake it. add it to italian or mediterranean dishes.

my favorite snack is this covered on chopped up tomatoes! this is so good the lemon flavor really comes through and it’s also salty! love love love.

This condiment is AMAZING. I add it to my sauces, fries, sweet potato, chicken, salads, pasta chips. The flavor is just WOW it is that sourness that feels just right. I always recommend this condiment as a MUST.

I hadn’t used this in years, but still had some in fridge. I used it in a white creamy, cheesy sauce/rou, and added head of cauliflower cut fine or big, pound of asparagus, and one red bell. That lemon pepper, along with thyme, pepper, onion powder, made this an amazing soup.

Adding some poached chicken would have also been good. I froze some for a month, and now enjoying it with no labour.

This is wonderful. The typical Lemon Pepper from the grocery store seems dry and lifeless in flavor compared to the Savory Spice brand. It’s wonderful on seafood and in guacamole!

Mrs. Dash is a staple in my house. We use it on everything. Its salt free which is great not because I don’t need salt I just feel like some of the salt seasonings have too much. I’d rather add my own salt and control how much goes into my food.

This seasoning has tons of other herbs and spices in it and is really flavorful. I use this on protein and some side dishes. Its just a must have and because we use it almost everyday this bigger size which we buy at Costco is great.

This size will last me a few months. A little added on food does go a long way. Would buy again and would recommend.

I have been a long time user of Mrs Dash. Although the size is large, it is worlds more cost effective. My sole issue is that the pour holes are large. That makes it a little more difficult to control the portion that you wish to use.

This is good for people requiring a low salt intake. Our local hospital uses it alongside of their low salt menu. If you are looking for a salted seasoning, this isn’t for you; it’s just spices. It is good for meats, vegetables, or soups, but if you want salt, you’ll need to add your own, which is good for those who do not care as much for salt.

The price point is not too high on this product, so to me,it is a good buy.

Normally lemon pepper is way too much pepper and not enough lemon (or it’s too salty!) but this is the perfect combination. I love adding it to rice, especially when I make falafel bowls. It’s really good on roasted vegetables too!.
