20 Best Spot Free Car Wash System (2023 Updated)

The unit is very easy to set up and use. It worked well to rinse my car and house windows. The longevity of replaceable bag of chemicals is greatly dependent upon how hard the water is at your house.

Ours is off the chart hard. The unit comes with a tester to test both the input and output water. As a result of our hard water the chemical bag isn’t able to clean the supply water for as long as I had hoped.

But this isn’t the fault of the unit.

One of the hardest and most tedious tasks of washing motorcycles is chasing the water spots. Not anymore! This is fantastic! All I had to do is bucket wash then rinse with this. That’s it. I purposely tested it in direct sunlight on a gawd awful hot day.

Dried in minutes and not one frigging water spot. None!It came with a hardness sensor and I tested our water here in SoCal. The counter went above the highest number in the included chart. I tested the water from the unit and it came out to.

02. 480 to. 02. The box came with an extra filter bag also. HighlyRecommend.

Five main advantages in my amateur “kit”: 1. It’s easier to buff-out than Chemical Guys Ecosmart Waterless Car Wash, since it doesn’t contain carnauba, just synthetic sealants. 2. OMG it is glossy – I use TW Ice for my base coat, and the result after a car “wash” with CG Swift Wipe is equal to or better than my original base coat application.

3. OMG it’s slick – once again, preserves or exceeds the base coat slickness. To me the total effect of glossy & slick are up there with a freshly detailed care in an auto dealer showroom. 4. SO easy to apply and buff out, much less buffing than CG Ecosmart.

I use a modified technique: pre-spray my microfiber. Light (very light) spray on my in-between-car washes car. Lightly wipe off dirt. Second, even lighter spray, buffed out just a little firmer with a clean and dry 2nd microfiber (I rotate surfaces often enough to keep the buffing panel dry).

So, two applications but each much lighter than shown in most demo videos; a little can go a long way. The trick is for the first wipe to be very light, and for the application microfiber to be damp with Swift Wipe.

5. I’ve been using TW Ice for my waterless car wash. It works, but Swift Wipe is a LOT less work buffing out (and honestly when I started I thought Ice was really, really easy compared to old liquid waxes).

I really don’t need to overkill by layering up Ice all the time. In fact I’m curious if Swift Wipe will be enough, since during dusty season I hit up the car with a wipe down every day, and sometimes everyday on the hood and front windshield.

I wasn’t impressed with CG Ecosmart, and the pump on the bottle broke about 1/5 of the way down. Swift Wipe is awesome, on the other hand, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed about spray pump durability – but if this pump quits working too, I’ll just buy an accessory bottle (although I like the really fine mist from the stock CG bottle).

The media could not be loaded. To be honest, I was unable to try this remedy on my dusty car without first washing it. It’s a shock for me to put whatever it is on a dusty or dirty car and start rubbing it.

I am sure doing this will damage the paintwork. Perhaps this is my stereotype. But I must admit that I was delighted with the use of this remedy. Even my wife (she never reacts like that to a washed car) said that she looks like new.

As I said, I first washed the car in the car wash and then slowly, part by part, processed the entire body of the car. It was neither difficult nor tedious. I used two towels, the first rubbed immediately after spraying and the second rubbed for the final shine.

I have a Honda Odyssey and the bodywork took a certain amount of time. I cannot say that the NEXGEN consumption was very high. The spray works well and I haven’t used up a lot. I really liked the look of my car after processing and the feeling I get from touching the finished parts.

I have a couple of cars that I don’t want to wash with traditional methods- I don’t want water pooling in crevices, pushing dirt/pollen into recessed areas or leaving spots. These spray-wash products are so much better for garage-queen cars as we can clean them inside the garage easily.

Vintage cars with single-stage paint and modern cars with thinner, multi-stage paints with clear coats all seem to work really well with this. The UV protection is hopefully adequate, but the cleaning capability is excellent and saves the step of using two products to clean and then protect the cars.

We tried this on a 50+ year old E-Type, an 88 Countach and a one year old R8 and they all came out gleaming- and still have enough left to do another car or a few motorcycles. Water rolls right off the finish.

It might be more expensive than some other brands, but it removes the need for a two-step, two product approach. We tried a 50+. 30+ and relatively new car and it did well on all of them. Daily drivers will still get the traditional outside car wash, since they get exposed to more road grime.

My first test with this product was on a small car that was dusty with a light dirty look. I sprayed on a 24-inch area spot and wiped off with a microfiber towel. The paint felt slippery when finished and the 24-inch area had a shine to it.

My next test was to wash the car with car wash soap and dry. I then applied the Nexgen product the same as the first test but sprayed the whole car in segments until finished. It certainly gave the paint a shiny look.

The bottle is still 98 percent full. It didn’t take a lot of sprays but it seems expensive when you calculate by the ounce. My thoughts are when you cannot wash your car by hand or at a carwash this is a handy next choice and is a good product.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This just doesn’t supply enough foam. I even put in 4 oz. of concentrate, where the instructions state to add only 1 oz. I still got a few foams, but at 4 times the amount directed, it was just not very much.

I put 2 stars since it did provide some foaming, it wasn’t a complete failure. But just don’t waste your money.

I have struggled washing autos for over 50 years. The biggest part of my angst wash which car wash to use to prevent spots and having to chamois the vehicle dry before the hot southern sun did. After buying a totally blacked out pickup truck I broke down and purchased Rain-x Spot Free car wash.

I’m a believer now. After washing my new baby I just sat back with a cold one and let the sun go ahead and dry the truck. VIOLA! No spots! Thanks for making a product that cuts my washing time in half.

It is a little tricky to get the spotless finish. You soap it up, scrub as required, and the tricky part is the rinse. You have to watch to see that all of the bubbles are gone but stop while the rinse is still coming off in a sheet.

If you continue to rinse until you see droplets, it will leave spots.

I received this item Black Magic Intense Ceramic Waterless Car Wash to try and write a review afterwards. On arrival I noticed that it was packaged very well for shipment. I read all the directions first.

I then washed my car first because it was very nasty and didn’t want to damage or scratch my finish. I mostly just got the grit off that would scratch. I then sprayed this Black Magic Intense Ceramic Waterless Car Wash on of about two to three square foot sections and wiped with a microfiber cloth turning as necessary.

I then would use a clean cloth to wipe and dry that area. This would continue until I had finished the whole car. It looked very nice after I finished the wash. One would not believe how much grime that came off with this product even after a prewash of the of the vehicle.

This stuff really works on a dirty vehicle. I can’t say that it’s easier than normal hand washing or going through an automatic car wash but it sure seems to get it much cleaner and ready for a good wax job.

It’s not the easiest but is worth it. This is the reason for only 4 stars. I hope this review helps someone in making a purchase decision.

Let me start by saying that I dont own a show car or a really nice vehicle. I have just a regular old family SUV that gets daily driven in the rain, snow and sun. With that being said, I do like to take care of my vehicle and keep it clean.

I used to drop the kids off at school, come home and break out my buckets, water hose and give the car a bath in the driveway at least once a week. Then on my off day I would wash my wifes car when I got home.

I have been into detailing since I was a kid but never really looked for new products. I always used just whatever I had. I heard about Optimum no rinse and figured Id give it a shot. Right now I just finished washing both mine and my wifes SUVs in 30 minutes.

Its below freezing outside and I was able to do this in my warm garage with the door closed. Neither vehicle was dirty, just road dust, tire shine etc on the sides. I use 2 gallons of hot water and about a cap of liquid in the bucket with a microfiber wash mitt.

I wash 1-2 panels at a time then dry it off. Works great to keep the cars looking good at all times in all temperatures. If your car isnt that dirty I highly recommend this. Im using 0. 5-1 oz of product per car wash so this bottle will last a long time.

Does it scratch your car? I dont know, its a liquid so the product cant scratch, but dragging dirt across the surface will. I try to lightly run the mitt across the surface and wring it out often. Once again, our cars are 20 years old with almost 300,000 miles on them, so swirl marks arent a big concern for me.

If I had a $100,000 vehicle would I use this? Probably not. But if youre a regular person who likes a clean daily driver this is a quick, fun way to keep it looking good at all times. Follow it up with a spray wax and itll look good enough for most people.

My vehicle is a black 2002 Toyota Sequoia and my wifes is a black 1999 Nissan Pathfinder.

Ive been washing my cars with ONR for some years now. Takes much less time and I dont have to lug out multiple buckets, hose etc. Works great on the interior too because its not oily like dressings and mild so it wont dry out plastics and leather.

Ill use the leftover water to wash the engine bay and wheels with old microfiber towels (or even wipe down the mailbox haha). Ive used the blue onr and the green one with wax and I like both.

This stuff is amazing. The paint keeps getting deeper and more lustrous with each use ! Its so easy to use I wash my car once a week. Shine shine shine! No hose needed. Just a few gallons of water in a bucket and some high quality towels do the trick.

I am first time buyer of both the ethos ceramic shampoo and the D3FY detail spray. I have a 2019 Tundra SR5 TRD Sport (Super White) and I am very very **** about my truck and what goes on it. I usually only buy form Adams Polishes but ever since I got it ceramic coated I need to purchase a soap that wouldn’t mess with it and would help rejuvenate it.

I happen to stumble across Ethos product, Soo I did A LOT of research and read many many reviews and most people said Ethos was better then anything out there along with leaving great glossy look. Well I gave it a try and let me tell you the ceramic shampoo literally blew me away absolutely unbelievable then once it was dried I hit it with the D3FY spray and wow perfection at it’s best.

I never post reviews about products or even post pictures of my truck but I had to do both for the first time in my life. You look at the pictures I posted and you tell me what you think you should buy!!! Cons The only complain I have is that the ceramic shampoo came in a gallon which I bought but it was not filled to the top and that ****** me off, reason is.

is that they took away at least 3 car washes away from me. When I emailed them they told me it goes by weight that’s why. Honestly that’s ******** excuse to be honest. Ethos is an expensive product so if your paying a lot for the product then give the customer what they pay for.

Tim your the owner of this company soooo I hope you read this comment!! You most definitely have a unbelievably great product but DO NOT screw your customers out of product. Give them what they pay for and I promise you they will and I will come back and keep buying all your products.

Also I think you should make a video on every product you have, showing the customer how you would use that product on the vehicle. By doing those type of videos us customers will get a better insight of the product and how it should be applied/ how you would apply it.

Aloha, I am the owner of West Maui Detailing and travel all over this island for detailing service. I use a few other ceramic products but because of shipping issues I’ve tried different kinds due to being booked everyday.

I normally use three kinds on the same vehicle and I am the best on Maui because of this. With Ethos D3FY I am finished with the outside so much quicker. the ceramic creates a gloss that needs nothing else.

Other products need each other to create the same effect and cost way more. I really appreciate your formula and feel like I am in a great place financially because of it. Honestly just after the hand wash with ionized water.

If you prefer to hand wash your vehicles, this is the tool for you. It could not make washing any easier. I don’t use the filter cartridges, though. I just get out my battery leaf blower and use it to dry the majority of my car.

A little toweling and walla – clean car!.

Product works as it should, replaces one I had for years. The product looked brand new, in the box with filters and wash refills, everything you needed to get started. Now I can wash my vehicles at home very easily.

It works ok. You still need to wash it the traditional way as far as the wash. It basically sprays soap but you still need to had wash it to do a good job. The best part is the filter which seems to make it dry easier without water spots.

I still had to hand dry the car so it makes the job a little better.

I was skeptical when I bought it, but this stuff is awesome. I just used it to wash my wife’s entire 2014 Ford Escape, and it leaves a shine like no other product I’ve used. It even restored the gray, faded looking trim to a darker color.

It easily removed bugs and dirt. The entire vehicle only took 3/4ths of a bottle, so I could even see using one bottle for a large pickup truck. One thing to note – when using this product, have a package of microfiber towels on hand, preferably the cheap ones you don’t plan on keeping.

I only had 2 on hand and it was easy to keep reusing them since they hold dirt well, but I would have liked to have 4-6 for the size of car I was doing.

First time Ive ever used a water-less car wash product and I must say the results are great. Dont know if I would recommend it to be used on an extremely dirty vehicle as the grime would probably scratch.

Purchased a couple of soft cloths by same manufacturer to use along with this cleaner. Keep turning the cloth so dirt doesnt build up. Puts a nice shine on our car and easy to use. I dont recommend spraying a windows although directions say you can.

Theres a build up of a film on glass and I had to clean the glass up with Windex. For quick clean ups I highly recommend this product. Price is good when compared to similar products.

This is a good option for me if I am able to do 2 passes. If you just do 1 pass, you have a shiny but streaky swirly look. It does a good job of lifting dust but also leaves a streaky layer. You’ll need to do a second buffing pass to even the shine out, and possibly a third to touch up other areas.

I built up a ton of muscle just doing that. It works well on rubber trim surfaces as a cleaner-waxer, leaving a basic uniform shine.

I cannot believe the other reviews. I don’t usually write things like this. But come on people. Properly dilute. Fully rinse. You will have no issues. The shampoo didn’t leave water marks. The water did.

Shampoo can’t control your lack of common Sense. I’m mobile in hot humid Tampa FL and use it for the simple fact I can let it dry in sun and I’ve NEVER had a single issue. Best product on the market for washing outdoors.

I’m not sure if I should be disappointed or not. Well, I kind of am but not sure if I should be. This stuff smells good and my car comes out very clean, but what I am missing is foam and bubbles. I use the two bucket method instead of a foam cannon.

I put the recommended amount in a bucket and fill with water using a hose and spray nozzle. That produces plenty of bubbles and foam in the bucket but when I take the wash mitt to the car, it’s pretty much just water.

Someone mentioned lubricity in a previous review, and maybe I have plenty of that but virtually no foam or bubbles. Perhaps I purchased the wrong product because the previous shampoo I used (it was pink) resulted in plenty of foam and bubbles on the car itself, rather than just in the bucket.

I have tried many car shampoos out and this one was the best I have ever used! It smells like cotton candy and is also pH neutral! It provides slickness to the paint and leaves no spots behind like other shampoos.

You can also use it in a foam canon which is great since it will save you some time! I have already bought 2 gallons worth of this shampoo and I had no issues! I highly recommend this product.

I have been meaning to try this stuff for years and finally ordered a 16 oz bottle and love the stuff (enough for a pickup truck). In New Mexico we get blowing dust/sand and this worked perfectly on that.

Saved time, water, and a hassle getting the two bucket system going which leads to water marks (humidity is less than 10% here) due to hard water and quick evaporation. Just ordered a gallon. Great stuff.

You won’t be disappointed.

Waterless Wash works well for removing dust and very light dirt. You’ll need a full wash if you need to remove bird drops and such. My experience is that I can get about the same performance from the detail spray to remove the same level of dust/dirt, and I’m a huge fan of that stuff, so I might as well just purchase the one product instead of two.

Am I missing something? Love Adams tho.

I hate to be the first negative review but here’s my experience in spending nearly $14 to give this product a fair shake: **This was done on the hood of a car that was washed 2 days prior with NO bad weather in between** I first attempted to use it on half my hood as a test.

Followed the instructions of applying liberally, wiping in straight lines, and *attempting* to follow up with a dry towel to buff off streaks. It took so much elbow grease to make nearly no progress on the nasty sticky streaks that it ended up being MORE work than a full 2 bucket wash.

I gave it a second shot the next day on my hood which looked about 10 times nastier AFTER the waterless wash than the rest of the car that I didn’t touch with it. I used much higher quality towels this time.

Same thing on a smaller scale. Takes a lot of effort to get rid of the streaks, and in the end there still were a couple. It dies FAST and sticky. If you don’t buff out the streaks the second you finish with the initial swipe, you’re out of luck.

Any “overspray” that gets on the next panel that you probably already washed, dries even faster and sticky as well, so you can’t buff it off. So you basically “wash” a panel, if you’re lucky enough to get the streaks in time, when you wash the panel next to it, you have sticky streaky droplets all over the panel you just finished.

HUGE waste of my hard earned money. Whether it’s $14 or $140, I expect products to live up to their advertising and with how amazing and “streak free” the video touts this product to be, I couldn’t be more disappointed in my purchase.

The car shampoo smells great and seems to work as well as anything else, and the guard and gloss is an amazing product, but with how expensive the towels on this site are, and my experience with the waterless wash, I might just stick to the guard and gloss and keep trying other brands’ products for the rest.

When I bought my 2020 Tesla Model 3, I was warned not to put it through an automated car wash. So what to do between visits to the detailer? My detailer recommended this product, and it works great. It also does not require a hose for rinsing the vehicle, which is an added plus.

Clean your car without the bucket and hose-as long as it doesn’t need a winter wash. For light to medium car wash needs. It’s quicker, easier, and there’s no water “hide out”. Use this in spray bottle form like the quick detailers or mixed into a bucket of water.

Great for classic cars where throwing water on the car isn’t in its best interest, or use it on your daily driver to keep it looking good.

What a way to clean your car and save water , time and energy! Couldn’t believe it , until I tried it for myself. Great for my mobile car wash biz. I was able to clean a car so quickly with this. Absolutely love it! My customer was surprised when I showed up with 2 gallons of water to clean her car, I put one oz of the ONR in it! All I can say awesome.

I’ve used turtle wax rinseless car wash several times now and am pleased with the ease of application, it’s cleaning ability and the resulting slick shine. It leaves a mirror like finish on my 2014 Tacoma.

I live in a dusty environment in western colorado. My truck is not garaged. This product does not attract dust. Rain sheets off of the finish for weeks. I will usually coin op car wash a quick spot free rinse to remove any heavy dirt.

Then I use one bucket of 2 gal. water and 4 oz. TW rinseless car wash. I’ve got a 15 pack of microfiber cloths. 7 cloths are folded, soaking in the bucket. I use one soaked cloth per section, wiping one direction in a back and forth straight line.

When it is dirty I put the cloth in another “to be washed” empty bucket, not to be reused. I dry the washed section with one of the other 8 clean dry cloths. and then place them in the “to be washed bucket”.

I usually use 5 cloths to clean the paint and 2 cloths for the tires and wheels. This product does a great job of cleaning and shining the paint. Scrubbing is not necessary except for bugs. You won’t scratch the finish if you use one cloth per section, in a light back and forth motion.

OK to wash glass and plastic trim. Just wipe it off before it dries. I save any unused solution in empty plastic jugs for next time. Since you never put the cloth back into the solution once it touches the car, the solution never gets dirty.

When you wash all the used cloths you don’t even need detergent because they are already soaked with car wash. Thanks to Gary Dean for this method.

I’ve been testing the waters of a rinseless car wash method. The more I practice it the more I’m really liking it so far. Since this was my first time using this methode, i hosed the car down first. I used 4oz of TWRFWW in 4 gls of warm tap water.

I placed 5 or 6 very plush microfiber towels in the solution. Rung out slightly and folded the towel in 1/4. Then gently wiped from the top to the bottom of one panel then refolded the towel so a clean part was showing and moved on the the next panel.

One towel took care of one side of the vehicle. I did the top, trunk & hood/bonnet with the first towel. One towel for each side and one towel each for the front and rear of the car. After each towel was used i set it aside to be washed.

This way I aways had clean solution in my bucket. After the car was done I gave it a final buff with the clean soft polishing microfiber towel. I still have enough clean solution left over to do my next wash.

I think Turtle Wax has a winner with this product. KB in MD.

This stuff works great! Plus, you can wash your car at night in your garage, in cold weather (within reason) in your insulated garage, or during water restrictions. That’s a big chunk of my weekend I just saved.

Use your noggin though. Its not for really really dirty cars. Even there I like it so much that I’ll squirt some plain water on the car at the coin operated carwash to knock the dirt off then go home and do this.

Also, take the time to really measure the water and product–don’t guess. This method called the “Garry Dean” method works even better than the official instructions. You can look it up on youtube: 1.

Get a bunch of microfiber towels at Wal-Mart. The cheapest they have. Honestly, one of the really big bags at Sam’s Club are even better. I’d get at least a dozen. 2. Mix a spray bottle with this stuff at 8X strength.

That means putting two ounces into a pint spray bottle. 3. Get two five gallon plastic buckets. For a car put in two gallons of water (measure!) For a truck put in three. Mix your product according to the label.

Mark the side of the bucket so you can just fill it up to the line in the future. 4. Put a bunch of your microfiber towels in your bucket of hooch and reserve a few. Spritz a panel with your spray bottle.

Toss a soaked towel on and swipe it around lightly. Toss it in the empty bucket as soon as it looks even a little dirty, or when the panel is done. Whichever comes first. Take a wrung out towel and wipe lightly.

Follow with a dry towel. Never return a used towel to the bucket of solution. Put your wrung out towel and even your drying towel in the “to be washed” bucket once in a while too. Repeat until the car is done.

5. Wash and dry the towels by themselves. I run ’em through the washer twice just to be careful. Finally, if you get a lid for your bucket, you can mix this stuff in advance, put your towels in and have it waiting for you in the garage when you are ready to go.

It is VERY safe. I scrutinize my car pretty hard. Not a single scratch of any kind on it after two years.
