20 Best Socks For Smelly Feet (2023 Updated)

I’ve had these socks for a few months now, and wear them during my workouts. I wanted to buy a product made from sustainable sources, so chose these bamboo socks. They are soft and comfortable, and durable.

I have no problems with chaffing when wearing them. I do have two issues with them. First, they are quite stretchy. if I pull up on them they could stretch up and over my ankle bone. Second, they take a very long time to dry after washing – as an idea, they take as long as my bath towels to dry.

I don’t have sweaty feet, but I imagine if I sweat in my shoes these could be problem. Regardless, I’m not unhappy with this purchase and will continue to use them daily. However, I don’t think I would reorder when they need to be replaced.

Balega makes the best socks I have ever worn! As someone that spends 2-3 hours per day, 6 days a week working out, I’m very protective of my feet. These socks are supportive, cushioned, anti odor, and you cannot feel the seams.

I also like that my feet always feel dry in them even when I’m sweating buckets (in full wool socks my feet feel wet for some reason). I wear Balega not just to work out now but all the time as my feet no longer like anything else.

We are on our feet all day every day, these are well worth every penny!!.

I actually purchased the PURSUIT Business Eight socks from the clearance specifically for gravel and mountain bike riding. I live and mainly ride in central Alabama, but I make frequent trips to Georgia and North Carolina.

I have multiple pairs of the normal PURSUIT socks that I wear as everyday socks, but I do not like the thickness for riding. (But I really, really like the normal PURSUIT socks for year round everyday wear in Alabama.

) Prior to the introduction of the PURSUIT Ultralight, I purchased Swiftwick’s merino wool dress socks from Swiftwick’s clearance section as an experiment with the hopes of wearing them for riding mountain biking.

I found the dress socks to be really comfortable for mountain bike riding. However, I’ve started wearing holes in the toes and heel of the socks after approximately a year of regular use. I suppose this should be expected since the dress socks were not really designed for physical exercise.

I recently purchased a pair of PURSUIT Ultralight socks. The PURSUIT Ultralight socks fit very well, and are even more comfortable for riding than the dress socks. I hope that the reinforced toe and heel will solve the issue of wear in the toes and heel.

The 7″ PURSUIT Ultralight will become my go to socks for gravel and mountain bike riding after I wear out the four pair of dress socks. It should be noted that I wear Swiftwick’s 4″ Aspire socks for road riding, and I have never had any wear issues with the Aspire socks.

However, I developed a preference for taller, light weight wool socks for mountain biking because I typically ride more trail as the weather becomes cooler. I also got my first gravel bike in the winter months, and I started wearing the dress socks for gravel.

Even as the temperatures got warmer, I stuck with the dress socks mainly because of the 8″ height. Thin merino wool socks are very comfortable year round, and I plan to stick with the 7″ height PURSUIT Ultralight socks year round for gravel riding and mountain biking.

They feel good and they stay dry. They caused blisters. Blisters — never had blisters before on my feet. These have caused big blister on front bottom of right foot. I’ve had to stop walking for the last few days trying to heal.

I am a walker and I use trekking poles. Blister started, I guess looking back, about 1. 5 miles into a 4 mile walk. I purchased 7 pair and now I am not sure how to proceed. I washed them in cold water when received.

Let air dry. I have walked for 12 years using Speedo water shoes and Walmart MediPeds. This walk I used Speedo water shoes and Aspire One Military Compliant socks. Ended in blisters. A niece said to use moleskin.

I don’t know what that is and looking for other solutions too.

The sock portion (surrounding the foot itself), is comfortable, but the upper, compression part of this knee high sock (covering the shin and calf to just below the knee), is too tight. You need an XXL size for those of us with substantial lower leg musculature.

I could barely get the compression sleeve part of this sock over my foot and once I struggled enough to get it all the way to just below my knee, the indention of my skin was immediate! My lower leg immediately felt “warm” (like a fever), and constricted.

Not trying to knock the socks overall, I have other lengths of these socks, specifically the Aspire Four (several pairs). I thought it was just me, whether health, conditioning, or hydration. but these would leave me with a compressed area of skin (under my calf to about ankle bone leve), for hours after taking off the socks.

Now I realize that I need an XXL size, at least for the compression part of the socks. That being said, I can wear the Fours all day and as long as I move around once in a while, I don’t have a problem.

If I don’t walk around a bit, my foot will go to sleep or feel tingly. I thought it was the sock (foot covering portion), being too tight. But I do not have this problem with the Aspire Zero’s that I have.

I think the XL compression portion is constricting blood flow into my foot just enough to cause that tingly feeling. Again, not a knock against the socks manufacture, I just think I need a bigger sock/compression area.

I love these Earth Therapeutic moisturizing aloe socks so much! The first time I purchased these was for a gift for my children in their stockings. After feeling how soft they were, I had to buy a pair for myself! We now have multiple pairs and go for these when we want to wear a pair of soft socks.

I love how these contain Aloe and help soften your feet as well. These are stretchy as well. Fit me great and I am a size 6 Woman’s shoe however my daughter wears a size 9 shoe and they aren’t too tight!.

Love the way my feet feel after a night In these socks. They have aloe infused In them making my feet ever so soft. I add extra lotion to my feet before putting them on for more hydration. The socks are around $4 a pair making them quite affordable.

If you’re suffering from dry feet I highly recommend using these socks.

I love aloe socks because they make my feet feel amazing. They make my feet feel like I just got the best foot massage and pedicure in the world. When your feet feel that comfortable and relaxed, it makes the rest of your body relax as well.

However, these socks had an issue that made them severely uncomfortable and impossible to wear. On each sock there is a stitched in label. The label rubs against my skin in the worst way possible. They scratch and itch my ankles every time I wear them.

Completely ruining the experience. I considered cutting the labels off but it would take a huge chunk out of the socks. Not worth it. There are aloe socks available everywhere without the itchy label on them.

I returned them instead. I would not suggest these to anybody with the itchy labels.

PRO’s: Very tall. Plenty enough elastic throughout to keep them up all day too. Durable materials. Super effective at minimizing moisture and stink. CON’s: The top elastic is far too restrictive for my giant calves and hurts because it digs in.

But when I pull them down to below the widest part of my calves, then the socks sag. And the material just isn’t thick enough to really fill up my Belleville field boots. I got these based on the description and positive reviews to help fill up my combat boots and reduce slipping and sliding.

These fail at that. They’re too thin. So they don’t do any better than my existing midweight wool OTC socks. Oh well. Still looking. In fact, I made the mistake of forgetting to take them off one morning and I slid my work sneakers right on over them, and the shoes did not feel tight at all.

If these were genuine boot socks, then those running shoes should definitely have struggled to contain the socks and my feet. But these socks not only fail to fill my boots–they fail to even fill my sneakers.

So I have been using them in an alternative capacity: winter sleeping socks. I had to bust out the long PJs for this cold season, and I needed tall socks to go with. These work fantastic in that role.

They’re snug and soft. And they fight foot moisture and smell, even on those nights when I get overheated and sweat in my long PJs. I would like to point out that as of this time, nowhere in the ad copy does it actually say that these are “boot” socks.

I think that that is very telling. So the material is wonderful. But the thickness is disappointing. And the calf opening is painful. p. s. : For some reason, all of my socks say “L” on the bottoms of the soles.

I would think that they should say “L” or “R” (for left and right), right? Weird.

These socks are the best. Don’t tell anyone but I wear them multiple times between washing. They don’t smell like other socks that allow for excessive bacterial growth by getting saturated with moisture.

You will know what I mean if you have ever taken off damp cotton socks even after wearing a breathable shoe. I wash these with my other clothes and then let them air dry overnight. I have rinsed them in the sink while traveling and they are always dry by morning which makes them prime for vacations, hiking and camping trips.

Worth every penny, and 100% American sourced and made. Can’t go wrong here.

I wear these for LONG walks with cross-training shoes. Now they’re my go-to’s for neighborhood treks. –pavement, sidewalk and off-roading onto light trails. Great temp regulation from chilly to downright warm weather.

Comfortable and true-to-size. Zero odor until third wearing, which never happens for me with synthetic socks. Washes/dries well with no shrinkage. Very happy to have them and need to get more!.

Purchased for hot weather and travel. These socks are soft, lightweight, odorfree. Quality made. I would buy a size up if you are at the top end of the size chart. I bought size small and wear a woman’s size 7.

I will order medium next time in a heavier sock for winter to get a little more heel room. Love them. Will be reordering. I have hung them outside after wearing and they do not require washing. They do not have an odor.

When they get dirty enough I will wash them. Quality made in USA.

I had ordered the small ones and they were nice. I ordered the diabetic socks but I also ordered the low compression socks but all I got were the compression socks I didn’t get any of the diabetic socks.

I have ordered everything in a large but my surprise socks for a medium they don’t fit at all. I like the diabetic socks they really feel good the compression socks are really tight I know I have to get used to them but I ordered before and now I have four compression socks and two diabetic socks.

I recently purchased two pairs of cushioned Pudus in the hopes that they would cushion my sensitive heel. I was very disappointed to discover that they did not provide the cushioning I had hoped for.

I love the socks and would love to be able to say that they indeed provide the cushioning they promised but that is sadly not the case. I sent an email to customer service but have to to receive a reply.

Can you please increase the cushioning performance? You have great products and I would love it if you enhanced this one aspect of foot comfort. Thank you for reading from Suzi in Montreal.

Having worn Dr. Segal’s compression socks, I did not hesitate to try these cushioned socks and bamboo socks. And they did not disappoint. Very comfortable, sizing is perfect and delivery is fast. Highly recommend.

Great little socks to wear around the house on warm days.

I work in dermatology, and if you know anything about what’s healthy for your feet, it’s wearing a high-cotton sock. And it’s hard to find socks that are a good amount of cotton, but not too thick. It’s true, they could wear out a bit faster, but these are so worth buying! I’ve bought these for years for my husband and teenage son.

Made from breathable cotton blend so these are comfortable to wear all day. Antimicrobial, perfect for my teenager to keep his feet dry and odor free. They fit great, are stretchy and don’t bunch up in the back.

I like the color on the toes and heels so I know which socks are my sons. Made with high quality material and the stitching is great, they will last a long time!.

I have not yet tried these new socks on, but these socks are to replace the old socks which I previously bought at a Target store about two years ago; most of those socks started to wear out as evidenced by the presence of holes in them, so I decided to buy more new socks.

These socks are comfortable for wearing both inside and outside.
