The WETSOCK did the job in the Northern Pennsylvania spring fed trout stream during opening day of trout season (Apr. 15 2017). The socks are easy on/off with over the calf length keeping my feet and calves warm while wading in uninsulated waders.

They fit comfortably inside the wader shoes. Two of my friends are buying the WETSOCK for winter use in their MUCK LUCK boots. Thx for the deal.

I’ve purchased Fox River and other brand hiking socks for years. Last January I bought Bomba brand and Fox River socks simultaneously. The Bombas wore out at the heals and got thrown out in less than 3 months; very disappointing.

The FRs are extremely comfortable, durable, and fit perfectly, and not one bit or wear-and-tear shows (same as the FRs I’ve had for at least two years). After discarding the Bombas, I bought FR socks to replace them.

For avid hikers and longer distance walkers, I learned my lesson and will forever stick with Fox River socks.

Awesome product and incredibly fast shipping! The socks are a perfect complement to my NRS farmer John wetsuit and have helped me extend my fishing season to almost year round. Keep in mind that these are socks an will need to be worn with some sort of shoes.

I bought an inexpensive pair of oversized beach shoes (2 sizes up from my normal size 13 foot) and they are the perfect fit. Dry and warm during rockfish season, who can ask for anything more?.

I was hesitant to get these due to the price but when they arrived and I tried them on they are worth it. The fit is outstanding for me with the XL. They are not too thick and should will fit inside my Heavy duty booties.

I will be using these primarily for SUP on flat water in cold weather when getting on and off the board is gonna get your feet wet. While a bit hard to get on and off the taper on the top cuff is just right.

I had to search the web a lot before I found them in my size.

They are pretty thick, probably going to be to warm for me. Probably won’t keep them. They seem to well made and fit well except for being taller and heavier than I like.

Nice and warm, at home or camping. My girlfriend loves them,, my Wife says there a bit Ichy. Can’t have everything . Just enjoy what you get i guess.

These socks are just ducky!! I love them! They are great for “fowl” weather! And… they are well worth the bill!

A great feeling sock. Excellent quality as you would expect for this price point. Supports and reinforces as described. They are very comfortable, and warm. No need to double-up in my boots (except during extreme cold).

I do not recommend keeping them on to wear around the house as they begin to make my feet sweat after a couple hours, especially if wearing them with slippers. Just a nice reminder of their good thermal nature.

Absolute favorite! My favorite shocks I have ever tried on. They are so soft and warm. I had problem with socks in the winter. My feet can get really cold because the socks become wet after I sweat a little bit.

These are perfect. No sweat and warm all day long. I bought 3 pairs and give one pair to my husband. For reference it’s a little loose on me I’m size 5. 5 and he is 10. 5. in men. I think these fits all sizes.

These are cute and very soft, but they’re loose and fall down. I wouldn’t even try them with boots as I know they’d come off in the boot every time. They’re fine for around the house, but not what I was looking for.

They’re also thin and the yarn pulls super easily! After the first wash there were a bunch of pulls in them. I was able to pull the loops through the other side, but I know it’s going to happen all the time.

I wouldn’t buy these again.

This product does a nice job of keeping debris out of my fishing boots. I bought the large size and they fit fine on my size 11 feet. Unlike some of the other gravel guard socks, this one has two layers, one to keep stuff out of your boots and the other to protect your shins.

I like this feature simply because it helps protect my legs a bit more from the Sun. The material also seems tough enough to help protect your lower legs from sticks or other sharp objects in the water.

These are good wading socks. The higher cuff paired with the gravel hairs is great. They provide extra shin protection from banging against rocks and the gravel guard does just that. The real story here is the great customer service provided by MRFC.

There was an issue with my item when it arrived and MRFC responded to my inquiry within a few hours and had. A new perfect pair in the mail and to me within2 days. Great wading socks and even greater customer service.

Oh man. Let me tell you about these bad boys. First, they fit like a glove – not too snug, not too loose, but just right. I’ve wet waded in these a few times so far and trust me, no gravel is getting into my shoes or down into these.

I could wear these suckers everywhere and be confident and cool in them, they are just that amazing. People often mistake me for a fly fishing guide when I have them on and throw money at me(that’s what you do with guides, right?), ask for advice(my answer: throw meat, bruh), and occasionally just watch me as I ultimately mess up(no one seems to care because I’m wearing these hot as heck socks.

Bought three pair for my 10-day trip to Iceland in February 2022. Sir these over sock liners and in my Revel IV Expedition Polar boots. Feet never got cold and never needed to use foot warmers. They were perfect!.

It’s just that simply in my opinion: ie, these are the best boot socks you can buy. Soft to the touch but strong in cushioning, warm, and form fitting. What more could you want?

Most people think that wool socks (and I mean quality wool) are only for cold weather. Nothing could be further from the truth. Wool breathes very well and it maintains body temp for your feet whether its cold or hot outside.

Wool also wicks away sweat (unlike cotton) which keeps your feet relatively dry. Fox Rivers heavy hiking socks are the best that I have found since my old backpacking days in the 1970s. Thank you for making a quality product!.

I had bought 2 sets for gifts for husband and son as they are avid hunters & fishermen. They were very surprised by them. On Christmas day I washed them so they could wear them the next day when they went hunting.

I washed them in cold water and Air Dry cycle on dryer, when they both tried to put them on the socks were way to small. My husband and son both wear size 10 to 10 1/2 shoes which means there should not have been a issue but, they could not get them to go past the ball of their feet.

They are not as thick as I thought they would be either, no thicker than your normal socks. I tried a pair on and they fit perfectly, they are the height of crew socks, so they will be great for around the house and to use a layer of socks for boots in super cold weather.

These are better suited for a child or young teenager that is interested in hunting and fishing.

I purchased these socks a few weeks ago. I didn’t know what to expect. I have never bought performance socks, but I know I needed them. I recently got a job working night shift 10hrs a night on concrete in metatarsal boots.

I started to Google women’s work socks and found these. There were other brands but I thought the description and the photo did justice for the sock. 3 weeks later and a few washings and they are still like new.

Remember I work 10 hrs in these. They hold up well and my feet do not sweat. Smell, yup but they keep me dry and I have had no issues with my feet. I started to get hammer toes and that has since subsided too.

Great socks, excellent quality! Will be buying more socks from here when I need them.

I’ve questioned the design of “walking†socks for decades. Yes, I need cushioning under my feet. Yes, I like the idea of cushioning over my instep – especially since I often vary tension in shoelaces depending upon the sort of walking I have in mind for that day.

Never found a technical reason for adding a uniform cushioning layer around the whole interior of socks. Warmth is legit…if you’re buying socks for warmth. Cost of manufacture has undoubtedly been the primary driver of that uniform layer decision.

Fox River has made a decision on the side of technical good sense that works for me and my feet. I’ve been a recreational walker, an exercise walker since a teenager. And that’s a lot of years ago.

In a couple of weeks, I’ll be 83 years young. As well as I can see into the future, an hour or so every day will continue to be spent walking for fun and exercise…and it will be spent with my feet inside a pair of Fox River Trailmasters.

These are really great basic socks. I bought Bootpro, Heritage, and these for my intro to Fox River, and I’d place Heritage a strong 1st, these 2nd, and Bootpro 3rd. These are comparable in weight to Heritage, thinner than the Bootpro.

These don’t quite hug my foot the same as Heritage, and they also lack the cool visual appeal, but they feel great and they stay up. They also don’t bond to my rough feet like Bootpro, which is nice.

These would be great as a staple in the sock drawer since they’re more affordable. Grab a couple black and a couple white, then test out the others as the budget allows while you grind away in these.

I’ve bought over 8 pairs of your socks. Great product. My only feedback would be to add tab to back of the ankle socks to help them from moving down to the heal when I’m running. If they had that feature I would probably never buy another brand of socks.

Good job on making a quality product. Very few companies do these days.

If you had seen me waiting for my 8 pack of wool ankle socks, you’d think I was a kid at Christmas waiting to unwrap all my goodies under the tree. Getting ready everyday can be a hassle, but the best part of my routine is putting these socks on my feet.

It’s the perfect mix of comfort and performance. They’re soft where they need to be and structured everywhere else. Being able to wear them all day with virtually no foot odor and come out the other end with dry feet is a HUGE plus as well.

I can’t recommend these enough.

I hate to give this style/size a 1 star but it caused me great discomfort. I’m a size 10. 5/11 (US) and it was recommended I purchase sock size Large. The sock is amazing, top shelf quality, BUT, the sock became extremely loose as my feet got sweaty during my run and shifted all over the place causing several blisters.

Very disappointing. I also own a size Medium which requires a bit of stretching before I wear them but they actually have a nice tight fit afterwards and stay in place nicely.

Was offered John’s Crazy Socks as a Christmas Gift through my employer. Very comfortable, thick, cushy and cool. The quality of the material is what has sold me the most. I can’t put the cheap, thin store-bought socks on anymore.

I bought these guitar socks along with several other designs (Tapatio, Big Foot, and Einstein) for the crazy-sock-loving men in my family. The socks are a very good quality with a nice thickness, and they don’t shrink in the dryer.

I liked the variety of designs and the quality. As an added bonus, the DSW regular price was $3 less than a specialty sock store in the mall which had the exact same socks.

I bought me first pair about 10 years ago and loved them. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated and so do the socks! They develop holes very fast, and the material sheds even faster. These are the best socks I’ve ever owned, but I can not justify the cost when they don’t last.

If holes don’t develop, the. The material sheds and I’m left with patches that are nothing but the nylon, or spandex webbing.

I’m retired, but my dogs, a Black Mouth Cur male and a brindle Catahoula / Pit mix Cur female, are not! Every morning, every season, weekends included, we cross the highway close to our house and wander and kinda hunt and mostly walk and de-stress and commune with the outdoors in a reclaimed prairie area that includes about 90 acres of scrub and woods and trails and borders the railroad line.

We usually stay out for over an hour (longer, if a train gets between us and home) and never. NOT ONCE. have my feet been cold! I’ve always liked socks that came to my knees and rarely could find any.

I also buy them a little large, knowing that after several washings, they will tighten up a little. I usually get about 3-4 years use from each pair, but then I am using them every day. I normally buy 3 pair each Fall and sometime during the winter, a couple of old pair will give out in the heels.

I think it is just from how I walk and from always shoving them into boots. These are also the most cushioning I’ve found, and important feature to me since I have neuropathy. Please keep making them!.

I bought these to use with rubber hunting boots. The socks are bulky and handle moisture well. Over the calf length just right for rubber boots. Like them so much that I’m getting another pair while they are still available.

The soft bulk ot these would not be my first choice with stiffer leather hunting boots, but they are my favorite for use with rubber hunting boots.

I bought these for the ’18 PA Deer hunting season. I wore a pair of good leather insulated boots. 2 days of scouting the mountains & 2 days of hunting–in several inches of snow and a day that rained a lot.

I’m a 55 yofart with vericose veins and feet that feel cold sometimes due to poor circulation. Not once did my feet feel cold—and when I finished the day, they weren’t really sweaty either. They have a comfortable, supportive fit and feel all snugly when you put them on.

I bought several pairs of these 2 years ago. I’m a rancher who is outdoors a lot in all sorts of bad Winter weather. These socks are 100% as advertised. Kept my feet warm in 600 gram Thinsulate boots at zero-degrees in snow for nearly all day long.

No itch, no shrink, great comfort. Fit like a glove on size 11 feet. Their appearance now is only slightly fluffier that when new. No thin spots and no holes. Awesome. Hey, and when the boots are off, you can run around on cold floors in them and keep warm.

I like these socks, I am hesitant about the fifth star because I have not had them long enough to speak to their durability. They are very comfortable and hold their shape after a few washes. If they become available again I will buy a half dozen more pairs.

It holds the heat perfectly and does not emit bad odors. Perfect fit on the foot and ankle. Playing with a winter shoe cover you can use it with a summer shoe even with temperatures close to zero and up to about 15 degrees with or without toe caps.

These are awesome. Comfortable, stylish and definitely my go-to for any ride.
