20 Best Soccer Shoes For Turf (2023 Updated)

We couldn’t find these in the size needed in the store. After trying on a few to ensure the size needed I ordered online. They were very quickly delivered and my grandson is pleased with them. We need the stores as well as online.

Nothing better than trying on and also feeling the quality!!.

I brought these for my 10 year old son 3 weeks ago. They are lovely and my son loves them! Shows them off all the time! Very comfortable! Easy to get on! True to size! Would highly recommend.

I could tell this was a well-made boot. The leather felt very nice and it felt like these shoes would last for a long time. However, it is a longer boot and there was too much room in the toe box for me, it might have fit better if I had gone a half size down, but no idea how narrow that would have felt.

Secondly, the heel felt high and was hard on my feet and knees. Finally, the rubber studs are pretty aggressive and I didn’t like how high they felt on turf. Once I actually rolled my ankle which kind of scared me away from them.

Ultimately the Nike Premier III turf worked a lot better for me, so if you are comparing the two I personally recommend that.

This is just a gorgeous, classic soccer boot that combines fit and function perfectly. We purchased these for our young, budding player for use on dry/patchy grass in addition to turf and the extra studs make a big difference on poor fields.

We also purchased these for our veteran youth player for use on artificial surfaces that aren’t meant for soccer, e. g. , multi-use fields that don’t have true fake “grass”, and therefore firm ground boots either catch or slip, depending on the quality.

I couldn’t recommend these highly enough.

Do not let the other reviews fool you. (Previously before purchasing a pair, these are my first laceless boots ever. ) It’s a cool looking boot but these can go in the bin. They fit like work boots no exaggeration.

Lockdown is terrible. Very stiff upper. Striking the ball is bad. What a mess of a football boot. Now that these boots are on sale, it is a big slap in the face to those bought at full retail. Disappointing boots.

I would not recommend these to anyone unless you have the perfect shape foot. I have only worn these twice and they are just not it, laceless boots in general are not worth it and already selling these.

I’ve been excited for the new Predators adding rubber elements since the first Predator with demonskin came out. However, up until the midfoot in them was far too tight for my wide foot to handle. This Predator finally is suitable for wide feet and the rubber elements are great for grip and shots, but the upper just feels too stiff and doesn’t break in much which is a shame.

I do like the shape though and is definitely a step in the right direction in my opinion as a wide-footed player. The AG stud pattern is also good on turf and definitely would love adidas to keep making AG boots as they are much safer.

We are avid adidas brand purchasers for our kids. I am not sure if it was just the design of these shoes but we bought two pair at the same time in August for our daughter so she had a backup in her bag.

After less than 2 months the first pair ripped right along the seam from the two different materials on the side. We figured it was something she must have done while playing and maybe it was not a defect even though they ripped so fast.

Within a month of wearing the backups they also ripped at the same location. Clearly this is a design defect so I do not recommend these shoes.

Playing in a tournament that only allowed turf or indoor shoes and these ended up working out well. My son really liked playing in them for what it is worth. Size seemed run fairly true, that says his outdoor play shoes are more like a half size larger.

Bought 2 weeks ago. Not the football boot in the picture. The same shoe but as an indoor football trainer

After ordering with a personalised letter on the side I received the boots with completely the wrong personalisation. After talking to an agent online I was offered a refund or £10 credit to keep the boots.

I decided the personalisation wasn’t that bad (I ordered GJ85 in white and it came with an Italian flag and the letters GT in red!!) so accepted the £10. I hadn’t tried the boots on at this time as I didn’t want to wear them if they were going back.

It came to a day where I had football training so tried the boots on, the fit wasn’t great and they didn’t feel like the quality I was expecting so I decided that I wouldn’t like to keep them. I again got in touch but was told that as I’d had the £10 voucher that I couldn’t get a refund.

(This was still well within 14 days of purchase) So now I’m stuck with trainers that are I’ll fitting and have the incorrect personalisation.

Bought these pre-season and they are amazing. They are so comfortable and the COLOUR is even better in real life. Considering most boots these days, particularly Nike, are alot more expensive, these are great value for money.

I usually size up by 1 with football boots and these fit me well but with a bit more room around the toes. Would completely reccomend.

Ordered and received so quickly! Just in time for school grand-final games. My son said they are comfy light and look cool. Rebel is my go to for ordering sport equipment and clothing online. I live in rural NSW.

My son was over the moon to be able to view all the choices and select the boot he liked.

I own 5 pairs of the puma Future 5. 1 and these are a big change in all around design. I think if you have a narrower forefoot and midfoot and you want a more aggressive cleat these will work for you.

The lockdown of this cleat is great and feels good aggressively changing direction, I feel very secure. My gripe is that the comfort is just not as good as the Puma future 5. 1 as far as the width and stretch goes, but you get a more snug secure fit.

It just doesn’t feel comfortable for my wides foot shape. I prefer something more forgiving and stretchy. Hard to find a balance between stretch for comfort and lockdown for performance.

I have a wide foot, so many sport shoes are too narrow for my foot. I bought these as other reviews said they were reasonably wide. They fit well and were comfy for the first couple of games. After that, i found that when i was changing direction the boot was collapsing to the side and rolling under my foot.

Really annoying! The whole outer side of one boot has scuffed away where it kept collapsing sideways when i turned. Not enough support in this boot, a bit like wearing a wet paper bag.

Beautiful looking Astro Boots. Good value for money. However the fit was not an accurate size 7 1/2 (41. 5) came up really small. tight fit size 6. Ended up returning to Oxford Street to a larger branch, as many of the smaller stores did not sell these.

Best to try on before you buy. Had to pre-book these boots online which took 2 weeks to arrive. Still waiting on the other pumas which has taken far longer even though I ordered both at the same time.

My daughter really likes this boot. It has firm cleats. Good for a wide foot. This is her 2nd pair of Copa cleats. Really hug the foot and doesn’t stretch out. She rotates the two pair for games. These are good for turf and grass.

Daughter is a u15 high level player, so she is tough on her cleats.

Bit narrow so remember to loosen the laces if you have wide feet. Also would recommend wearing them in for a few hours. Afterward they are very snug and ideal! especially if you play upfront or in the wing.

They look great and brilliant to play with.

I have a very narrow (and long) foot so finding a pair that fits has been a challenge. These fit like a glove. I’m actually ordering a second pair. Can’t comment on durability yet, but I play a couple times a week so I’m not too hard on cleats anyway.

These cleats were fantastic, felt great on foot, great color, great touch, and were honestly some of the best first-impression cleats I’ve tried. while they lasted. I got two wears out of them before the soleplate starting separating.

I went and exchanged them for a new pair aaaaand the new pair lasted a whole three wears before the whole front of the soleplate was flapping around. It’s really unfortunate because I’ve heard great things about these cleats and liked them for the few wears I got out of them, but it was such disappointing durability.

Finally, only two weeks since getting the first pair, I went in and exchanged the second broken pair for a pair of Nike cleats. Thank you to Dick’s and employees for being understanding and helpful but man, frustrating circumstances with the cleats.

Again, I want to be clear that this is a review of the product, not of Dick’s. The employees at Dick’s were wonderfully helpful and the return policies made it overall far less frustrating than it could’ve been.

This boot fits true to size. I’m a US9. 5 and it fit perfectly. It was snug but not overly so. Grip on the outsole is perfectly fine as to be expected. Previous to these boots I’ve been using a pair of very old Adidas boots made from leather but still in excellent condition as I am only a casual football player.

On comparison, I was expecting these Puma boots to somehow blow them out of the water. They didn’t. Yes, the upper is much better in fit and it is much lighter and good for speed. With my Adidas pair, the tongue would always slide to one side which was an ongoing issue.

But overall, the Puma pair, although very good, does not warrant the high price tag. I’d recommend these boots but only if you can get them at a discount.

We chose this after going through many reviews and trying on different brands and shoes. This was one a the few that the width was correct for the size for us. From reviews and the make of the shoe they seem like they will be durable.

Initially they are a little more stiff less spring then Adidas but haven’t broken them in much yet. Time will tell. Will be using for summer training and middle school and travel soccer.

These shoes aren’t ideal if you have a wider foot. Also, the eyelets where the laces pass through rip when you tighten your laces to the point now that I have lost 2 available eyelets. I have only had these shoes for a couple months and now need a new pair.

We had these boots personalised and I would highly recommend. No idea how it’s done, but it looks like the personalisation has been done during the production process (eg. doesn’t look like a cheap sticker).

I have wide feet and generally find it hard to find boots that fit so this is a good one to get! It was a little tight at first but after a while the materials stretches to the contours of your foot.

Very comfy inside the boot.

This is the second pair of these Astro trainers that have arrived faulty. The inner side of both trainers was deformed and creased. These were naught as a present for my son. I asked sports direct if they could guarantee that if I ordered a third pair they would not be deformed and if they could tell me if any of my local stores had stock as the stores don’t answer the phone as I bought both pairs online.

There Response was there is no stock. Funny as I can still order online.

Good, sturdy boot. Have been using for a few weeks and have had no issues. Be aware that the baseplate is close to a full plate in rigidity and will take some getting used to (turn of pace was hard initially whilst the plastic flexed into shape over the first few sessions).

Have had my full pace and jump back now.

The boots are brilliant. Great quality, good sizing. Colour is vibrant which is fun. I love the boots but was very very disappointed with Sport direct. The item originally bought was then temporarily out of stock.

I ordered these instead but the delivery came really late, with no communication. Disappointing.

I run 11 in most adidas boots. I own a new pair of the copas in size 11. These turf shoes run small. I had to return and get a pair of 11. 5s. Haven’t played much in the boot yet. Is nice and snug but worry about slipping as they break in.

I bought this pair of football shoes for my son a month ago and they are mint shoes, he loves them, the grip around the ankle, the materials, you can tell they are top quality. Also he plays more confident wearing them.

Absolute top buy!.

I was nervous these shoes would have the “no tie” laces due to its sock model, but was delighted that it came with regular laces we can tighten if needed on my sons foot. He really enjoys them, and I have seen no slipping on turf when he wears them.

These are decent astros. Quite a snug fit but they have good grip and are petite so don’t feel too clumpy When playing. You definitely need to order the next size up to your usual trainer size. On my last pair the material split after about 6 months so don’t have the best longevity.

The build and feel of the shoe was nice. however, like most soccer shoes, it runs on the narrow side. This is compounded by the lower half of the tongue being connected to either side of the shoe and it does not allow the shoes to expand and be laced, tightened to your foot.

I wanted to like these, but it was painfully tight.

I bought these for casual football and as soon as I put them on my control on the ball was much faster. Also you can run faster as I feels like you have a lot less friction. They are nice and tight around my foot and this helps to get a good touch on the ball, overall it is a very good shoe.

The product is great, but unfortunately seems too tight for my son whose feet must be growing since he confirmed his size. His football boots are the same size , but fit perfectly. Teenagers. However because I had his initials personally monogramed on the shoes I now can’t Exchange them according to SD Returns / Exchange policy.

Very good boots. It’s flexibe and it keeps your legs cool. But it does put your strain in an ankle if you are playing football for around an hour.

Initially had got the non-superfly boots which were way too tight and had to return. These fit so much better even though I got the same size (9). Only used twice so far so cant say much more than that.

Bought for my ten year old son. He completely loves them. Easy to slip on, and still stay firmly in place with all the football etc. he plays. A good quality product.

Not very happy. The thread around the bottom of the shoe is frayed. Looks cheaply made.

The upper part of the shoe is pretty good quality and it is made with real leather. It has an amazing ball impact absorption and great foot-to-ground (artificial turf) impact absorption as well. I dribble a lot and sprint a lot and these shoes do an amazing job.

The quality of the sole is not good though as it started to come off on the first use on the left foot at the Achilles heel. Also, the laces are too thin and if you tighten them too much, the feet will start feeling a lot of pressure.

I have been playing on turf since I was ten and now I am 32. I do know when a shoe is a good shoe. Size 8. 5 US.

A referee for several decades, I got a pair of these as several shoe models that are longtime referee standards have become unavailable in CA. These looked promising. The pair I got seemed well made but were tragically uncomfortable due to a severely curved last that seems to assume that the wearer has no small outer toes.

This made them uncomfortable to walk in and blistering to run in. I read somewhere that they are now re-designed to be straighter. Hopefully so – the ones I had were nice to look at but awful on my feet.

These are my go-to shoes when I work as an assistant referee and for many upper-level centers on grass. I have a wider foot, and these fit extremely well for me. The traction is also very good on dry grass and turf, and they are the closest thing I’ve worn to running shoes for a soccer shoe.

The shoes are also very sharp-looking and just look like proper referee shoes. As long as these shoes are available and of similar quality, I will keep going back to these shoes.

Bought it for Nnabugo Ezike. He loves the shoes so much it reminds him of the homeland. When he plays in them he reminds me of Okocha. Hence the Nigeria flag!!!!!!

Excellent, durable and stylish. Comfortable and good fitting. Downside to it, sizes are not readily available for US sizes 45 and 46 to purchase. Have to hunt from satellite stores to flagship stores for soccer boots, choice of colours are limited for soccer boots, jerseys and shorts.

Quality is gud. But to play football with it. It doesn’t best do the job. Ball control is vry different
