I’ve had hand eczema on and off for the last 15 years. It varies with environment and season, but I almost always have little itchy, painful spots on my palms that just won’t go away. I’ve tried so many “gentle” or “sensitive” hand soaps with no luck.

This soap is a miracle! Within 2 weeks of using it (I have one in the bathroom and one by the kitchen sink) the spots were GONE. And they’ve stayed away. It’s a life changer for me! With little kids, and me being immunocompromised, I wash my hands so much.

This has made me so much more comfortable. If you have any sort of skin issues, I highly recommend! Tip: be sure to rinse down the sink after washing up, as the droplets from the dark soap can make your sink look dirty (it’s not!).

I’ve struggled with horrible eczema for almost 15 years. It ranges from the bubbly/oozey kind to the super dry red patches that crack and bleed. In the past, only strong topical steroids got rid of it.

I did not want to use the topical medication on sensitive parts of my skin because it causes stretch marks, so I thought I’d try this soap. AND IT WORKS. I’ve tried all kinds of over the counter creams and and homeopathic treatments and they’ve never worked, but this soap literally cured the eczema on my inner thighs.

I will only use this soap for the rest of my life. I’m so amazed that it worked. Absolutely worth a try if you have eczema.

This is great, so far! I’ve only been using it a week but it makes my skin really soft. It definitely helps my plaque psoriasis from being inflamed, i don’t know if it will make it go away completely but it definitely helps.

So worth it. It smells a little sweet, kinda like the peach bars but very faint. That was something I wondered about before purchasing, was smell. I like the smell. I will definitely keep purchasing this, it is a psoriasis savior.

Makes it so much easier to keep under control.

As a massage therapist, I wash my hands & arms frequently which doesn’t agree with my sensitive skin. I started using this bar soap to wash up before/after clients because my skin was extremely dry, itchy & uncomfortable using hand wash.

No one else uses this bar of soap. Since my hands/arms are coated in massage oil, I do have to spend a little extra time lathering up, which isn’t a big deal. This soap works well! My skin doesn’t feel like it’s going to crack & fall off after rinsing & drying.

It gets the massage oil off my skin without stripping all the moisture. I ended up putting a bar of this soap in the shower. I use wash cloths with this soap & it’s not lasting as long as the bar that’s used only for my hands/arms.

It’s actually melting way faster than I feel a bar of soap should. It doesn’t sit in the stream of water in the shower & completely dries between uses. I’m the only one who uses it. This won’t stop me from buying it again because this is the most moisturizing bar soap I’ve ever used.

The scent is light, though I wish it were unscented, but it doesn’t irritate my skin. Eczema Honey, please stop packaging this soap in plastic to reduce waste.

This is the second time I have bought the Oatmeal and Lavender soap and I can definitely notice a difference in the product’s quality. The first time I ordered, I enjoyed using the soap because it reduced my eczema breakouts and it was very gentle on my skin.

However, I found that the soap did not lather particularly well, and that bothered me. I like very sudsy soap. But this new one lathers much better and still has all the significant benefits. Thrilled.

This soap is amazing. Smells great, lathers really nicely, and leaves your skin very soft. However, it doesn’t last very long at all. Maybe less than two weeks with daily use. For how expensive it is it’s just not sustainable.

Even as someone who spends too much money on health and beauty products it’s not something I can keep purchasing. If they dropped the price or made bigger bars I’d be all over it. Until then it’s too much of a luxury.

I purchased this for my son who is a teenager with oily skin. This soap helped clear up some trouble spots within the first three uses you could see the difference in his skin tone!! It smells really nice and works well on sensitive skin.

I just bought this product and I’ve only used it twice for day 1. I also used an electric handheld face cleaning machine. And I’m amazed. Im dark skin in complexion but I have areas on my body that are much darker.

I’m using this for my back acne, ingrown issues and discoloration and after just one day with my deep cleaning machine I can see such a noticeable difference. My ingrown hair reduced like 70% from just one day! I also bought a 70% sun screen that I’ll apply daily every 2 hours since it’s summertime now.

But yes buy this with a solid sunscreen and an handheld facial cleaner… if you have a partner let them help you use the electric facial cleaner on the problem areas you can’t reach for deeper penetration.

I absolutely enjoy this Clear Essence product. I struggle with blemishes for years. Clear Essence has made a noticeable difference. I use Shay Moisturizer with it. Great combination for my sensitive skin.

I tell almost everyone I see with blemishes about it.

This has really helped with removing texture on my face and getting an even complexion. I’ve only used it for about 3 days so far and have noticed a HUGE improvement. It’s less than $5 and it’s a pretty good sized soap.

Has a scent but it smells so good, a nice soft clean scent.

This lasts forever if you’re only using it on your face. I use this for my second step in my double cleanse after my oil-based cleanser. I am very particular that it sits on a special soap holder in my shower to avoid bacteria growth or getting soggy.

Lathers up nicely, very budget friendly and pretty easily accessible. The only CON is that it can leave my skin feeling tight, which you don’t want; however, it hasn’t increased any dryness or caused any other issues, so I’m okay with that.

Great on acne! I am typically going into my skincare regiman after using this, so the tightness doesn’t last long. It’s been around since, I believe, 1912! Personally, I would prefer a bottle or pump version (the only one I found had been sold out ).

I would say i have normal skin for the most part. There are the days where it feels on the dryer side or at time it can feel oily. It really just depends on the weather and what exactly i am doing and such.

One thing I truly hate is when you wash your face at the end of the day and go to get in bed but it still doesn’t feel clean or refreshed. So browsing Target one day i stumbled upon this stuff and decided to give it a shot.

The BEST decision I’ve ever made. My skin felt clean and well refreshed. I didn’t feel like i needed two other face washes to get that fresh face feeling. Products are different for everyone and that’s just how it is.

But this product changed the game for me lol. One down fall is it does get a little messy, so make sure to buy a container with it LOL. It doesn’t stain and it had a great scent to it. Affordable and effective.

This soap smells heavenly. I don’t use it on my face, but it’s my go-to for full body and hand soap by the sink. I switched to bar soaps a while back to save money and plastic, and got a bonus – this soap works way better than other of the liquid or foamy stuff! Gets all my sunscreen off at the end of the day, and powers through the make-up on my hands after applying (I don’t really use any tools so I’ve got all sorts of makeup to wash off), but still it is not drying.

It’s amazing. I like the smaller, more grasp-able size of this bar compared to their original size. I also like that’s it’s dark in color. My soap tray is dark, so the buildup is way less noticeable than light colored soaps.

I absolutely loved this soap! I have never tried sulfur soap before, but I def will not be buying any other soap other then this! I cannot believe what a difference I have noticed with my acne and my skin looks brighter and natural and all my acne well what I consider acne my little pimples on my face and back well this soap cleared all that up! I am 46 with super oily skin and my mother is 69 with dry skin. We both used this soap. I am absolutely amazed. People think this soap dries your skin. Well it does, but we noticed it dries the skin only if you have oily skin and it does it in a natural way.

My mom has to lather on lotion a couple of times a day and her skin didnt dry up even tho we both let it sit for 2-3 minutes. The dryness I noticed was not the synthetic soap type of itchy, red, tight skin kind of dryness, it was very natural.

This is made with saponified soap, nothing like the synthetic junk companies dump salicylic acid into and sell. It was my first time using a sulfur soap. It was just fine. Hot springs charge a premium for water that has natural sulfur.

I thought the combination of ingredients worked well. And the cleanliness you feel with a 3% salisylic acid was just amazing. It is practically a skin peel that you can apply all over your body if you let it sit for 2-3 minutes with zero pain, zero down time and it is very affordable.

Overall, this product was great. I personally used it for my body acne. At first, I started to purge but continued to use it every other day. In about two to three weeks, I noticed a difference as well as a reduced appearance in my scars.

I have oily skin and I would definitely recommend this product especially if you have body acne. However, my skin and hands did feel dry so I followed with a body mosturizer. The soap doesn’t have a strong scent to it so that’s a plus.

I have tried other washes with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide but I loved this one. It worked really well for me.

I suffered from cystic acne frequently which causes a lot of bacteria and scarring on my face. I also had a rough nose from sebum clogging my pores which I never thought I could get rid of. Ever since I have been using this product it has changed my skin for the better.

I have tried multiple face washes, acne cleansers, creams. you name it and nothing has worked like how this hydrating bar has. It has helped heal some of my deep scarring on my face from the ceramides and has completely removed the hard bumps and dry skin build up on my nose.

Very moisturizing, especially for a bar face soap. I love that it doesn’t come in plastic packaging and that it’s relatively inexpensive for the size of the bar. I got this as I’m using tretinoin and needed some very moisturizing elements in my skincare regimen.

This definitely helps. It does take a little bit longer to wash off than a ‘normal’ face soap, but it doesn’t aggravate my acne or eczema. Will be nice to use on dry winter skin too. The only downside is the smell is unpleasant, chemically and very strong, but it becomes less obvious as the day progresses.

I got a sample of this soap from my daughter’s pediatrician after my daughter developed eczema on her hands her hands were burning drying out whenever she would use regular soap. She also would randomly get hives when she washed with her kids body wash that would go away as soon as she got out of the tub.

I started using this sample it’s helped keep her hands moisturized doesn’t dry them out. She doesn’t complain about her hands itching. I also use it on her body now quit using regular kids body wash on her she quit getting those random hives while bathing.

I bought the Vanicream Z-Bar per my dermatologist’s recommendation and it was truly life-changing. I have facial dermatitis and for 20 years I would get frequent flare-ups that had to be treated with a steroidal cream.

She told me to use this soap and I should see better results and not have to use the cream as often since it is not a good idea to use it on a regular basis over a long period of time. I started using the soap a year ago and I don’t get the flare-ups any longer.

I use it daily in the shower and leave it on for a few minutes. The best thing is using it daily I’ve only used two bars in a year! My face feels great and I only use the cream very seldom. My dermatologist was surprised to see and hear about the vast improvement.

If you have facial dermatitis you should definitely use this soap and see what good results you’ll get.

I have a lot of skin sensitivities and dry skin, this soap is wonderful and has not broken me out.

This soap was recommended for my wife’s Eczema by the Dermatologist. Because of Covid 19 and handwashing, my hands were so cracked they were bleeding! I used the soap for every handwash, and the cracked hands disappeared.

Its a bit expensive at 3 per bar, but it is a quality product. I recommend it without reserve.

Currently my skin is going through a major flare up. So my skin is very paper thin. Even though my skin is quite raw and I can definitely feel it sting when I used this. I’m a bar of soap user and I prefer to use this over another brand of soap.

I have been using sebamed soap replacement for decades at the recommendation of my dermatologist. Its an outstanding product. Highly recommended for dry skin, sensitive skin and sweaty armpits. Keeps odour away.

I totally love this product 😍. Ive been a repeat user because its literally a need for me! Whenever my skin shows some rashes + dry flaky skin. Once I washed up using this product my skin kind of calms down.

I just need a few days before my skin totally calms down. The only problem of this soap is that it melts fast. You cant use it like how you usually use a soap. You need to dry it so that it wont melt.

I found this sulfur soap to be a great help in my scabies experience, which was a nightmare. It seems to help the awful itching and redness, and there’s no bad odor, like I expected. In fact, I think it has a fresh scent and lathers well.

When used as directed I really believe it helped me with my battle with scabies. Yes, I recommend it.

I was having a problem with mites. Im allergic to the dust mites and this soap took care of the problem. Its not an overnight cure but almost. Very happy I found this special soap.

I have tried this and absolutely love how it makes my skin feel after using it. I’m always left with smooth skin and no dead skin left on my shoulders like i do using other soaps. This is the only soap that takes it off my skin which is so nice to me.

I wouldn’t use any other soap bar on my shoulders again.

I have been dealing with a pregnancy-related rash for a few months now. I had the same thing with my son 7 years ago and was told to use pine tar soap. I don’t know if anyone reading this has ever used pine tar soap, but it smells like a campfire and leaves an awful thick coating on your tub whether you shower or bathe.

The pine tar soap didn’t even relieve my itch at all. I tried this Ditch the Itch bar and I am thoroughly amazed. It has a woodsy smell but it’s subtle and not overpowering. It rinses clean from your body and the tub and it works! I will be buying this again to manage this itch and I recommend it to anyone looking for a solution to their itch.

This soap is a staple for poison ivy season. I am HIGHLY allergic. My husband jokes that I can get the rash just by looking at it. Living on a farm, we will always have poison ivy. As soon as we are done working outside for the day, I immediately shower using this soap.

I used to us dawn dish soap to cut the oils from the plant but it left my skin dry. This bar works just as well well if not better, not leaving any dry skin.

non-drying, non-irritating for all over body wash, we have tried so many bars wanting to be plastic free and keep returning to Sebamed – the soap-free element works for us. I wish i could recommend a goats milk soap bar for example but for the daily cost as well as the efficacy, this is the one for us.
