20 Best Soap For Men’S Face (2023 Updated)

My husband definitely like this soap he used same brand over and over for ages. He always telling me how soft and hydrate is he’s skin. Smells good too. He can wash he’s face too and he’s face is always soft and smooth.

It’s usually comes in three different colors or say fragrance to choose. Always smells fresh and controlling body odor specially my husband work all day landscaping. I didn’t see dryness or break outs on his face and his body skin feels smooth and soft always.

Looks hydrated and glowing. Price affordable.

I discovered this soap about a year ago and have used it since. The scent is very positive but in no way overwhelming. a fresh outdoors kind of scent. It helps moisterize my skin and reduces the dry skin itch during the low humidity of the winter.

I also use it for shaving my head and face because it works very well. I don’t waste my money on bodywash which was introduced by the soap companies to sell more soap and make more $$. This is a good product for men!.

First off I have to say my husband was very excited surprised he received a VoxBox from Influenster. He’s already a fan of Dove so I figured it would be perfect for him. Here is what he said about each: Extra Fresh Body Face Wash: ✅ for someone who is used to the bar of soap he actually liked this a lot.

He said all you need is a drop it goes a long way. The smell is great and he liked that you can get a body and face wash all in one. So far so good. no breakouts or irritation. Extra Fresh Antiperspirant: ❎ it was decent, had a great smell but he didn’t feel like it lasted him as long as the brand he currently wears.

He works outdoors and right now it’s summer, hot and sticky so he didn’t feel like this would be something he’d purchase again. But again, like everything else. great smell! Extra Fresh Fortifying Shampoo + Conditioner: ✅❎ He was mixed on this because normally he just uses shampoo because he has really short hair.

He couldn’t really say much about the all in one other than the smell being great and his hair feeling super clean. Extra Fresh Body Face Bar: ✅✅✅ His favorite, like the original he said it nourished his skin but unlike the sensitive bars we usually get this one made him feel manly HeHe (it did smell really good) All in all he said he would definitely purchase most of these products again when he runs out, just the antiperspirant wasn’t too great in his book.

Everything did smell really good I am extremely jealous that he got such an awesome VoxBox !!!.

I’ve been using this product since 2005 or 2006. When I started it was about $3/tube. Over the years, price went up like everything else. Didn’t mind too bad at 5/tube before COVID. Then at 8/tube during COVID was a little upset.

Now, somehow in a post COVID disaster, I can’t find it on store shelves. And when I find it available from sellers online, it appears to be $20+/tube. What’s going on? I have half a tube left and am getting ready to go buy some competitor face washes to start comparing.

My husband, myself, and our two teens use this. it’s the best hands down! Not only do we know our skin is getting a healthy yet gentle clean from it, but we feel fresh and clean afterwards form its invigoration, too! That “minty tingle” (I’ll call it) is what made me and my teen daughter switch to my husband’s product.

Use to buy at Walmart and Taget and tried 3 different stores today and couldn’t find it. Please don’t discontinue it ever.

I’ve been using this daily along with your Men’s Triple Protect face lotion for many years. at least a decade. Local stores are no longer stocking this item and prices are crazy high if you buy online.

Some sellers on Amazon are selling it for $25+ for a single tube. Please don’t ever discontinue this or the face lotion and please get this item back on shelves. Thank you for an incredible product!.

This is the best bar soap for my money. I’ve used body washes in the past from many different brands, but I always found myself preferring bar soap instead. After that, I tried quite a few brands again.

This is my favorite for a few reasons: 1. It’s a moisturizer as well. As a child I had some skin rash problems and had to use the original white Dove bar soap. That is actually what originally led me to trying this one.

It certainly doesn’t make my skin baby smooth and soft (I wouldn’t want it to anyway), but it does help prevent cracking on my hands, knuckles, knees and elbows. 2. It smells good. My girlfriend loves it and says it smells “manly”.

Ok that’s all fine and good, but the real selling point is that the scent isn’t overpowering or cologne like. And, as mentioned before, it doesn’t smell like a pre-pubescent boy trying to get his first date.

3. It’s barely more than a dollar per bar. For something that cheap you would expect it to basically disintegrate after two showers. Not so with this soap. It lasts a full week usually, and very often more.

You can reasonably expect to get 7-10 showers per bar AT LEAST. So, less than $10 buy you some great smelling soap that will also help your skin stay healthy and it will last you almost three months.

It’s gone from 16 simpler ingredients to 22 and it doesn’t moisturize any where near as well as it used to. Why the major formula change from what it’s been for years without honestly disclosing it on the bottles? Companies advertise “new formula!” all the time.

This was my favorite body wash- zero dry skin quality clean scents. Now my skin is dry again and I would have never known why had I not had an older bottle on hand to check.

So sad that the scent changed on these bars. We compared a bar from the last pack to one from the new pack and it is like 2 different products with the new bar smelling like a cheap green apple/chemical smell.

It’s cloyingly sweet and overwhelmingly strong. We are likely going to donate the remaining bars to a shelter and look for something that smells better. This used to have a very pleasant masculine type of fresh scent.

I’ve used the white classic beauty bars for 40 years. It’s been my favorite in spite of all the new scents that come out. Love the classic old fashioned scent as it smells so lady like. I read about the Men’s Dove Elements charcoal and clay bar and just had to try it for the benefits of those 2 ingredients for purifying skin.

The scent is just wonderful and I find that it’s appropriate for women as well as men! It cleanses my skin and makes it soft and smooth. It even clears the kp bumps on the upper arms! Absolutely no residue and I will continue to buy this as well as the classic Dove beauty bars and alternate using them.

My husband even likes this charcoal and clay bar as well. Amazing! He won’t use the classic beauty bar but enjoyed this men’s bar. Dove is wonderful and are the only bars I’ll ever use. Just LOVE DOVE!! My dermatologist recommended it decades ago.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I was excited to try this product because I normally do not buy body or face bars because I find they getting really gummy and gross sitting in the shower all the time.

I decided for this product to take the bar out of the shower every time so it had the opportunity to dry to avoid this problem. This solution worked and it allowed the bar to last longer than I expected.

I liked how this bar was for both my face and body. I found it cleaned very well and created a nice lather. The one thing I did not like about this product was the scent. I found it very unappealing and almost had a chemical smell to it.

If this product would to come in a different scent then I would definitely buy it in the future, although I find the scent to be a huge turn off. The scent did not last very long after the shower, although I still found it hindered my experience.

I received the Dove Men+ Care charcoal + clay face and body bar to try in exchange for my honest review. When I opened the package I was initially skeptical – the colour is a little odd and I wasn’t sure what to make of it.

Once I used it though, I was pleasantly surprised. The soap lathers up nicely – not too many bubbles and not rough feeling on my skin. The smell is enough to be refreshing without being overwhelming.

The best part, however, was this products effectiveness. I typically prefer liquid body wash products, as I find the feeling of soap on my skin too drying no matter how much rinsing I do. This soap is the best of the best! The fact that you achieve thorough cleansing and exfoliation simultaneously is brilliant! While other products offer both – it rarely is a reality. I’m obsessed! I especially love how clean my armpits feel after showering with this bar.

I bought a handful of different soaps when my favorite wasn’t made last year (Grove brand winter seasonal) and my husband LOVES this exfoliating soap by Method! It’s a little rough, almost like light sand, but that’s why we love it.

It feel great to scrub your legs, arms and even your armpits (maybe I’m just weird). I don’t even buy separate scrub anymore because this does the job AND it smells good. Light scent of cedar and maybe pine? Anyway, I cut the bar in half so I don’t drop the huge bar and I recommend it 100%.

I actually got this to fulfill a “free shipping order ” and wow! I’m actually gonna get like 10 more boxes! Perfect for my face and body as I’m switching from the “new style of liquid body wash” back to classic and old style of “bar soap.

” This does have a rough like texture as you scrub your body. Not sure why it’s like that. I guess the mini crystals or something to make it “cleaner ” gotta look into it but ya it’s better then your average “Mans” soap.

(Liquid body wash with the “loofah” lol always made me itch as i now know it irritated my skin and left me dry after showers. Switched to bad soap and no more itching or dry skin.

Her son recommended to her and she smells good, it has like a spice scent to it but agrees with her chemistry so I gave it a shot. Most soaps that work dry out my skin but this is the first soap I have used that cleans well and does not dry me out.

Even if this soap was unscented I would still get it. It’s now my go to soap. Bed Bath and Beyond has the best price as well. Love it.

The soap is great as expected but I find it hard to give this scent 5 stars due to product inconsistencies. My first bar was given to me as a gift and was a medium brown color and the scent was very oak forward with a hint of ‘spice’ to round out the scent and give it a clean and fresh quality; It was amazing! The next bars I ordered were very different; so different I thought they got mixed up and mislabeled/packaged.

they were a light tan and very spice forward with no hint of that nice earthy oak scent I love. The scent isn’t bad by any means; it still smells amazing. However, it’s not what I was expecting. A follow-up order yielded the darker, brown bars with that oak forward scent I love.

Quality Control on this bar as far as scent and color consistency isn’t there. There’s no way of telling which one you will get. I’ll still order because the scent(s) are still good. just wish it was more consistent.

I’d review your product but I can’t! I ordered it October 1st and it is now 20 days later and I still have not received it!! I only live 3-4 hours from your place in Toledo Ohio and so far USPS has shipped it from you to Indiana, back to Columbus Ohio, back to Dayton Ohio.

It’s taken 2 bars of soap over 20 days to make it only half way here!!! WTH?!? I ordered something from China the same day and it’s HERE already!?! That’s 6,000 miles away and had to go through customs and it got here before your soap coming from Hebron KY which is only 175 miles! The last time I ordered from you USPS shipped it from Hebron to Indiana then up to Wisconsin, back down to Columbus then over to Dayton, up to Detroit and finally to Toledo?!? UGH! Look, the soap is great other than being a little soft and the grit etc is perfect.

But for god’s sake for what people pay for a bar ship it with UPS or Fed Ex. It may be a little more than USPS but your customer’s will be happier when they get their product sooner, use it quicker and order more often! And before we say “it’s just a fluke” I first heard of you through a coworker who buys it for her husband.

So I asked her and she said, “yeah if I want to order it for his birthday or something I have to plan a month in advance. Their shipping department sucks!” So, not a fluke ya think?.

This is a household favorite and very hard to keep in stock at home as everyone loves the scent of the Cedar Citrus because it is simple, light, smooth, and it makes our hands and body skin feel soft.

It is true to the scent, I don’t recommend eating it for the taste, but you can close your eyes in the shower, and it smells like the Citrus you enjoy. My skin around my nails do not peel and it makes my feet soft, which is a constant struggle.

Finally a moisturising, deodorant soap for men that note overpowering and not feminine either. Works great for sensitive skin and hard water/heavily chlorinated Coty water too. Nice rich lather and a smaller bar that fits easily into a washcloth or hand.

Doesn’t seem to get soft on the shower either or dries out. My partner was using the “gold” soap and thought it was fine until he used this. He even uses it on his face to shave now instead of shaving cream as I bought him some disposable razors from Sams Club that he says are the ULTIMATE razors he’s ever used that gives him a close, nick free shave! He’s really happy now with Thai combination amd thinks I’m spoiling him.

It’s new so I tried it as they were out of Irish Spring. It costs more than Irish Spring with fewer bars of soap and the bar is smaller. The reason is (they say) that the bar contains moisturizing cream which means nothing to me but it might to some others.

The soap smells good and does a good job but its cost due to its amenities would probably keep me from purchasing it again.

Dove makes a great product here, just like almost every thing they make. Dr. suggested that I use Dove Men + Care products on my body. That act solved numerous problems with my 77 year old skin. I haven’t had a rash, or any other skin problem since that day.

I do have a lot of other problems. Sometimes I think that it’s the same product that, my soon to be ex-wife uses, in a different box. But that is ok with me. It could be less expensive, but we are talking nickel’s not dollars.

I’ve been using Redken Brews Mens Cleaning Bars since 1970, when they were know simply as Redken Mens Bars. They are still the same great alternative to conventional soaps for people with sensitive skin like mine.

My issues are with the limited quantities one can get in an order even on LovelySkin. com it is a max of 6. I can understand not wanting someone reselling it but there are those of us who need it daily all year long and does not last anywhere as long as conventional soaps.

In all the years I’ve used it the product has not really gone though any significant change in its composition and Redken has reduced the packaging waste to make it eco-friendly and cheaper to produce.

Yet the cost keeps skyrocketing – from a fixed price of about $5 per bar in the 1990s to about $10 in 2010 (and only available through licensed beautician), to about $12 per bar in 2018 (when Redken finally allowed some retail an online sites to sell it to the public) at current (2022-2022) pricing that generally runs $18 to $35 a bar.

While it is nice to find a site like LovelySkin. com offering them at a more reasonable price $10 – 11 each, it is evident that Redken has lost control of the end pricing of its product and the issue of resellers changing the entire pricing model.

Other products are still traded both brick-and-mortar and online as single prices so this is could be fixed.

I was introduced to this product in 1971 by a hairdresser in Beverly Hills. Until recently it was known simply as the “Redken Men’s Bar” but the same great scent and formula seem to have survived the rebranding.

In addition to the great results for my hair & body (yes, I use all over) the smell is just what I want: not overpowering, makes it’s presence known and isn’t “perfumey”. Obviously, I wouldn’t still be using it 50 years later if I didn’t like it a LOT!!!.

Great soap! It’s good for my skin and it leaves it feeling clean, not oily or dry. I had a rah on my leg, and it went away after I began using this soap. I’m not sure if it was the soap, or something else, but all I know is that it went away.

The smell of the soap doesn’t linger on the skin, so it’s not a problem using a deodorant or cologne that would possibly clash with it. I’m not the most active person, but some soaps leave me smelling like I have been working out after a half a day, Dr.

Squatch does not. The bar lasts almost two weeks with the wooden soap dish included with my purchase. This soap costs a little more up from than the big name branded soaps, but I believe it comes out even or better in the wash (pun intended).

I believe this soap is a good value. I have tried the pine tar soap also. It’s good too. I look forward to trying other scents.

My now 16 year old son came across a Dr. Squatch ad on YouTube almost 2 years ago and begged me to buy it for him. I did without hesitation because I was so happy that my teenage son cared about how he smelled (LOL).

I was immediately impressed when I could smell the bars of soap through the packaging. I was in awe when I could smell the soap in the hallway that lead to the bathroom as he showered. My son was so amazed at how the scent lingered on him after he showered.

The Ultimate Man Body Scrub soap bar wasn’t a hit with me at first due it’s intimidating size which is slightly larget than a typical bath soap bar. However, this magic eraser for men has gradually grown on me over the last year and I’ve become obsessed with it, especially when traveling.

It’s compact, light and relieves me of obsessing about the quantity of my liquids and remember to pack washcloths. It’s tough enough to get rid of the grit and grime of a long day off and gentle enough to lightly exfoliate the sensitive and delicate areas and body parts, leaving a fresh, clean scent on the skin.

My only suggestion, which I think is more of an opportunity is that Kiehl’s produce a zippered carrying case for the bar of scrub soap that seals any water/soap residue. It;s the ideal travel companion for the bar.

I had to purchase another well known skin care brand’s zippered case to fit my body scrub soap bar perfectly :).

Almost all soaps, liquid or bar, make my skin itch. I was tired of buying glycerin bars that melted away very quickly, so I took a chance on this bar several years ago. It has been working wonderfully with no itching problem.

It’s a bit costly but each bar lasts much longer than the glycerin bars I was buying. It has a rich lather and never dries my skin. No itching, or flaking. I recommend this soap, it’s worth the price.

I tried this because it had good exfoliating ingredients and did not contain overly hydrating ingredients that would contribute to skin congestion. It exfoliates very well and is still gentler than other exfoliating soaps.

Also, it is not drying at all. I think that this may be best in hot weather/humid climates when the skin needs help staying fresh. I don’t think this would be a good winter soap unless you have pretty tough skin.

For anyone wondering, it does NOT smell like a ‘man’s’ soap at all. It has very little scent. Good stuff. Will re-purchase.

My husband tested this Dove Men+Care bar of soap in the scent charcoal + clay. At first we noticed before taking it out of the box that the scent was very strong, it lingered for quite some time. My husband did not like the smell overall.

He thought it made him smell industrial. He was not used to the smell of charcoal and clay. I honestly did not like it either. We have never smelled something so different. Some men might like this masculine scent, but my husband felt odd using it as a bar of soap.

He said it definitely left him feeling clean, but was bothered by the strong scent overall so would use it sparingly to finish it off. He mentioned he would not choose this scent in the future.

I picked this up on a whim when I was traveling, and I’m glad I did. I sometimes prefer more woodsy scents and this one smells very subtle and unisex. It doesn’t linger after so those prone to headaches don’t have to worry.

It cleans just as well as my expensive washes and is moisturizing at the same time. I’m pleasantly surprised!.

I like how it doesn’t have a strong scent. The scent says it all “Clean Comfort. ” That’s how it smells. It is very soothing for the skin and doesn’t leave the skin dry. I buy this all the time when available.

Definitely recommend it. Dove Men plus Care is great.

This Dove bar is just as awesome as women’s Dove bars. I bought a package for my brother after he commented that his skin felt like sand paper. With winter coming, I went looking for something to help him.

I use Dove bars and body washes myself, so I picked up the men’s equivalent. While it’s not exactly the same as the classic Dove bars, it did not disappoint! They’re nice because they’re gentle for facial use yet work on rough body skin.

The price was fair at Walgreens in NYC (The Bronx, to be exact). More importantly, it helped soften my brother’s skin after a single use, and worked even better with continued use. The scent is fresh without being overpowering, which is nice (especially those guys who still want to use scented aftershave or cologne), but I’d be interested to find out if Dove offers an unscented version (my guess is yes), since I didn’t see it in my Walgreens.

With winter coming, I’d highly recommend this product to any guy needing some moisture in their skin!.

My new favorite. Great fragrance. Not too overwhelming but just right. Chock full of emollients, so your skin stays hydrated. I can’t stand soaps that dry your skin, so this is perfect for me. Will order again.

I’ll start by saying it’s a nice soap. I make a cold press soap that is very very close to this out of damn near the exact recipe. That aside, NOTHING justifies the $12 a bar price tag for a 4 ounce bar that will last about 4-5 showers.

Natural soaps dissolve quickly, just the nature of the beast. But most body bars come in 5-6 ounce portions for half the price. I can make 5 pounds for the price of 2 bars and mine is all natural, organic, and vegan as well.

This is a price gouge for sure, look elsewhere. Like everywhere elsewhere. Better soaps on the market for half the price.

Used the charcoal bar and loved it… thought give this bar a try… lathers nicely and great scent. Feels squeaky clean afterwards… just loving the product line from the gang at Brickell. just fyi, my wife is waiting on the eight saints body wash… haha.

My husband loves this soap. He likes the way it suds up, makes his skin feel and it smells so good. The only thing he had trouble with is the bag it comes in to wash with. The soap always falls out so he had to put a knot in the bag to keep it from coming out.

Other than that it’s great.

The packaging is always super high quality and the bag it comes with helps to exfoliate your skin when you use the soap bar! It definitely is a lasting smell on my husband and all her products smell amazing! Only down fall is how quickly the bar gets used and you need another lol.
