I have just about every product that Jack Black makes and I largely love their products. Unfortunately, I have to leave this body bar the bad review that it deserves. In the packaging the soap smells wonderful, but once it is used it smells like nothing.

The “scrubbing soap” description is most misleading. There is a rough sentiment in the soap but not nearly enough to scrub or exfoliate anything. I’d say 5 percent of the surface of the bar feels rough and that is after using the bar for over a week.

The bar leaves your skin feeling sort of sticky instead of soft or clean. After using the bar you have to use body wash to wash off the soap. I would have asked for a product refund, but I gifted one of the bars with a holiday basket.

Save your $30 and buy a different product.

My husband works on cars and uses his hands a lot. His hands are rough and stained at times from grease, oil, etc. I purchase this soap because of all the great reviews and this soap did not disappoint!! After one use my husbands hands look spotless and they are smooth to the touch! I can’t believe how well this soap worked! I will be purchasing more in the future! 😍.

I purchased Jack Black’s Turbo Wash Cleanser for my brother at Christmas, because it’s such a no-fuss, multi-use product he can keep in his gym bag. While reading the reviews, I kept reading about women who loved the scent of this line from Jack Black, so I decided to try this soap for myself.

It’s pricey for a bar of soap, but it’s huge and it lathers richly and quickly, so it really does last: I’ve almost finished the bar now, but I’ve used it daily since mid-December! It does exfoliate my winter skin, but it isn’t at all moisturizing; without applying lotion right out of the shower, my skin would feel dry and itchy.

But I routinely use this to wash and then lather my skin with coconut oil after showering, and my skin has remained soft and smooth all winter. Best of all is the scent! It really is uplifting in the morning, and it has a complex sophistication about it that makes my bathroom smell expensive and stimulates feelings of well-being: like walking into a bougie spa and inhaling deeply.

I will definitely re-purchase this in the future, and think it will be even more suitable for the summer months.

Another amazing product. My go to soap. No cons. All pros. This soap gets the dirt off. Lol I’m about to wash with the soap right now. Soap bar is big. Lasts and. Price is fair. My favorite is the amber woods scent one I believe it’s no 103.

I have been a life long Dove beauty bar user because of the obvious moisturizing aspects. Recently I discovered that dove user are prone to ingrowns because of the moisturizers in it, which made sense to me as I’ve suffered from them in the past no matter how much I exfoliate.

So I’ve learned to try a more natural, gentle cleanser to help prevention this. I use several Raw sugar products and LOVE them! ( especially the shampoos) so when I seen they came out with bar soap I had to try! I bought this one for the hubs, and the lemon sugar one for myself.

Lemon sugar hasn’t arrived yet and I was eager to try so I broke one of these bad boys open and used it in my me time bath. The scent is amazing, and hubs loves it too! I like overpowering scents, especially on men, but this isn’t overpowering.

It definitely smells manly, with a crisp clean scent that opens up your senses, giving you that I feel super clean and refreshed feeling. Its definitely a change from dove, so I don’t feel that super moisturizer that I’m used to so I may be a bit biased there.

This isn’t a deal breaker for me as I soak myself in oils and lotions afterwards anyway. It lathers up very nicely, feeling soft and luxurious, providing a good, thorough scrub with any tools you may use, thorough scrub with any tools you may use.

This makes your skin do that squeaky noise after you rinse, but doesn’t feel tight as if it’s dried out. I cannot wait until mine gets here to try it out, but if I don’t like the scent, sorry hubby, you’re sharing! ;).

If you are expecting this to smell like coconut, don’t buy it. I am a huge fan of RAW products and have loved every single item I’ve bought. I thought the same would be true of this soap, but I was really disappointed with the overpowering scent.

I’m a woman and not particularly a fan of “traditional male scents,” which always smell like pine forest to me, but I figured black coconut was a safe bet; I LOVE anything coconut scented, so I gave it a try.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I was when I opened the package. The smell was so strong and it was definitely woodsy. Come to find out there’s cedar scent in there. Why didn’t they call it that? RAW Men’s Cedar.

Then people looking for coconut scent would know to avoid. Even post-shower, I smell like the men’s cologne counter at a department store. I will be tossing this out and going back to my tried and true RAW products.

Wow! Am I glad I found this product. I have sensitive skin with rosacea. I struggle searching for the best products for my unique skin. Knowing this bar soap was clean, sold it for me. I am unable to tolerate most fragrances but this bar soaps scent is very light and mild.

It’s more of just a hint of smell that is left on my skin once I exit the shower and towel dry. I look forward to trying more products by this brand.

Bilt soaps are wonderful, they smell good–add a great fragrance to the shower. They lather great, all the way down to when there’s only a sliver remaining; though it’ll take a while to get there because these are big bars of soap(8 oz according to the packaging).

I’m not overly fond of this particular soap, though it is more than acceptable, and is more pleasing than any I could find in the store. I especially like the Bilt big sky cedar.

I finally found this soap at a Walmart in Boilingbrook Il. I got a couple of them for my husband. He loves this soap! Said it smells good feels good and last a loooong time. I had to go pick up a couple more.

Now i’m afraid that when I go back they will be out. I have checked a couple other Walmarts and they don’t carry it. I have also told a few friends about it and they can’t find it either. I wonder why? This is such a good product.

Kind of costly but it last a long time. I can use six bars of soap compared to one of my husbands.

I don’t know what happened between smelling this in the store and my first shower, but the smell became too much very quickly. Couldn’t use it on my face as my eyes became irritated. It’s still in my shower, and is a MASSIVE bar, so the value is clearly there, but I think I’m going to steer clear of the leather/oak scent if I try it again.

Maybe something more mellow. I chose this because it promised natural ingredients and didn’t have coconut listed as an ingredient (an allergen of mine).

Black Pepper is most beautiful scent that has come my way in many years. Please keep it in stock. I so enjoy this incredible scent.

OK it isn’t cheap but would expect from a luxury creamy soap that has such a wonderful fragrance. Can confirm that partners love it as much as I do. Recommended Best Soap Buy.

This soap is amazing. I started out just using it on my face and got really good results. It helped to even out my tone. I really loved it as a whole body soap also because it didn’t dry my skin out.

I use it a few times a week and keep it in stock.

I like the smell of this. It really does smell like mischief and shenanigans… I used to always rub the soap around my face because I get pretty dirty at work. Ivory was no problem. This stuff makes tear gas feel like a minor inconvenience.

It cleans well, though it does come off sort of gray on the white washcloth. Overall I like it. Just don’t get it in your eyes.

I bought this as a joke for my son at Christmas. I was wrong! He called me the very next day wanting to know where I bought it from. He loves it! He has a lot of black heads on his face, but after a week of use they have all cleared up! He loves the fresh scent, and the mild exfoliating this bar offers.

His girlfriend says he smells fresh and clean and she has started using it too! He got this bar at Christmas and here it is almost February and they are still using the same bar daily!.

Best soap in the market. No one can compete with this bar soap and its quality. It even helps reduce acne. It took me 3 weeks to finish it completely, and remember this is a giant bar of soap. It smells good too and cleans the skin thoroughly.

The bars, like the name of the product suggests, are actually huge. I slice them in half with a sharp knife and each half still lasts me for about two weeks of daily showers when kept on a draining soap dish.

The lather feeling is very nice, the scent sticks around for good while, you can notice this is a good quality product. I bought 4 bars (Beer, Fresh Cut Pine, Accomplishment and American Bourbon) and used half of both the Beer and the Fresh Cut Pine already.

I’m not giving it a 5 star review only because the scent is not my favourite and also very similar from bar to bar (although they do have their own specific notes, the general scent is very similar, specially when smelling the dry bar).

But eh! To someone that likes the scent and is looking for a pattern, this might be even better! PS quick math: I paid $14. 95 before taxes on each bar, they last, for me, roughly a month each. That’s ~$3.

75/week for a very good quality product that is pretty much the same price as your pharmacy bought soap bar that dissolves in a week. That’s a win from my point of view.

It was the first Saturday of the month (May) I called my bromoswayzes Kip Flavell and Brad Hodgins so we could head over to my grandma’s home at the senior citizen’s assisted living center. We decided to re-enact some scenes from Magic Mike for my grandma and her friends.

A gentleman never tells but I’ll tell you this much them ladies can party. We can all agree after some serious dancing and flexing like Slider from Top Gun, a man produces some serious body funk. I was dancing like Channing Tatum but I didn’t smell like him.

That’s when I grabbed my BABS Fresh Cut Pine, some purified water from a Danish River. I had Dire Straits (Walk of Life) playing in the background as I lathered myself in pure greatness. The scent and aroma from the BABS fresh cut pine can’t be described, one must experience it.

The fresh cut pine is what a man should smell like, it gives the pride and joy every man should have. After that shower I felt like Jean Claude Van Damme from Kickboxer when he was kicking bamboo but instead I was kicking down pine trees.

I was really excited to use this soap on recommendation of coworkers but have been nothing but disappointed. First off you HAVE to buy the special tactical scrubber, if you go bar on skin it drags. When you use the scrubber it feels like you’re block sanding your body, very uncomfortable.

The second disappointment is the nice scent disappeared after about a week of use. It has zero scent at all now. The bar of soap has no turned into a goopy mess inside the scrubber so I’ll be throwing it all away and either sticking with the body wash or go back to generic soap.

Big big let down this stuff.

This is my favorite bar soap ever!!! It is far and away the best smelling soap you will find. This is a wonderfully masculine type smell that would be great as a cologne. The scent is fantastic. For colognes I wear Parfum de Marley and Creed.

I noticed Rebel’s Refinery Wealth of Man Org. Oil Bar Soap at the local Target and decided to give it a go. First and foremost, I had a tough time opening the packaging. The twine/string wrapped around the paper had to be cut.

The bar soap is pricey compared comparable soaps. The soap did not lather up and did not last long. After 3 or 4 showers, it started to get mushy and eventually fell apart.

This soap has a pleasant fragrance and is nondrying on the skin which is lovely. However, the bar didn’t last very long. By the end of a week or so the bar was coming to an end. It was smaller than I thought it would be based on the price.

A nice bar of soap but. for the price, it should be bigger.

I like the scent and the soap doesn’t dry my skin. I just don’t like the shape of the bar, too narrow. I don’t want a brick of soap that needs two hands to hold. Just a little wider so it doesn’t pop out of my hand when using.

And wider for more coverage when washing.

I’ve been using this soap exclusively for several years at this point and it always smells incredible and cleans well. They’ve also removed the plastic from the packaging which I (and the planet) appreciate.

The ‘Black Bar Soap’ was a real surprise – the fragrance is strong and rich, warm and welcoming; also, the lather is so thick I have been using it in the shower, rather than shower gel. A great buy, thoroughly recommended.

From the moment you open the elegantly wrapped parcel you know you’ve bought a quality product. The next thing that hits you is the fragrance, subtle yet masculine. The bars them selves are huge and last a long time.

It’s very hard to decide which is my favourite, leamongrass and lime is really refreshing in summer months. Charcoal and black pepper or ceedarwood and grapefruit are my go to for the colder months.

when I read other reviews, I was impressed, but not sure whether to buy it or not, as it is not cheap, to be honest. the review saying “will never go back to the shower gel” is exactly what happened in my case, and I never used shower gel since then (I also do my hair with Scrubd).

regarding the price, see it as you are buying the soap and body cream in one product, then is it not so expensive anymore – and you do it in in one go with one product, so saving time :). I want to see how long one block of soap will last, but it seems quite long after first month.

I received this soap as a gift and was sceptical given I have used shower gels for years. I now know what high quality soap is like and am a convert. This product is quality, it just feels, smells and lathers better and lasted me 3 months which is good value.

The thing I like most is the scent, in a very subtle and classy way it provides a great smell to the bathroom. I’ll be re-stocking.

Murdock Black Tea Body Soap was just ok. The scent was almost too mild, the soap didn’t seem to last very long because if any water was left on it the soap softened so much that brown goop was left in the soap dish.

For the price, I wouldn’t buy it again since I like several other soaps a lot more such as Lafco brand or Zents.

I’ve ordered the foaming black soap for men before but the smaller size. I recently got the larger size bottle before my other finished and was hoping to have the same experience. The function to spray out the foam soap is faulty.

Soap isn’t coming out properly. It also agaves problems when I push to release the soap and when I shake before trying to use it, the soap is spilling through little cracks at the top. Very disappointed with the purchase, I was hoping that it would sensible and if not easier to use when buying the bigger size.

Great product, just bad packaging. I’d recommend the smaller size instead of the larger size.

I got into using black soap bars sometime late last year, but I found out that there was a foaming version used to clean the face. Some other facial cleansers would make my skin break out. This didn’t happen to me and at least I know the ingredients are natural for the foaming black soap.

If I can make a minor critique, I wish the pump wouldn’t get stuck whenever the volume is low at times, but the product itself is still top-notch.

Great product and glad it’s a foaming dispenser. It doesn’t burn like if I would have used straight black-soap, but it does tingle a bit. Also leaves the beard clean but not dried out. Kudos

This bodyscrub bar has become an essential component of my shower. Don’t get me wrong, the bodywash gel is fantastic but complimenting that with this scrub bar takes things to another level. I use it to get into those nitty-gritty areas daily and the result is a sense of cleanliness and freshness that leaves me beaming and full of confidence.

Also use it twice weekly to exfoliate the rest of my body. Buy without hesitation and I doubt you’ll have any regrets.

I have been looking for a bar soap to replace my L’Occitaine soap. They changed their formula and it doesn’t smell good anymore. The Milton Brown Black pepper is fantastic. The 250g is the perfect size, I look the feel of the pepper and the smell is amazing!.

The smell of this body exfoliating bar is incredible, I can’t imagine anyone not loving it. The grains feel wonderful over your skin and after using it your skin is so soft. It’s not too abrasive at all.

You could use it as a body soap or hand soap. I will always buy this product. And definitely as a gift for family and friends. Well worth the money.
