My 3 year old daughter suffers from 3 types of eczema: atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, nummular. This is a hereditary condition from my hubby’s side and is seen also in babies that have contact allergies like my daughter.

Before Influenster sent this product to us we were already using this amazing cream. Before trying out this brand, we would have to use different brand lotions plus oat meal bathes to soften her strawberry skin on her arms, cheeks, and legs, or use prescribed steroid ointments and creams (which only made future flare ups much more irritated, inflamed, and itchy), and we’d have to use petroleum jelly as well to help try to lock in as much moisture as we could.

There is no cure for this condition, only methods to alleviate these horrible symptoms such as small pinches around the area of itchiness, ice packs, keeping her safe from her allergens such as grass, detergents, dirt, sweat, and even the sun triggers her eczema.

This condition was and at times a nightmare horrible to watch in your child, my baby girl would suffer through the middle of the night scratching her skin raw at times, crying even wailing in pain, and feeling so overwhelmed in not being able to make her feel better fast enough.

This body wash says on the bottle that it is gentle, non-foaming and helps calm itchy skin due to eczema. Those were exactly my experience using it on my son. My toddler has been dealing with eczema for quite some time now.

I find that using this body wash helps keep his skin soft and moisturized. It does not dry out his skin because it is creamy and has no soap that may aggravate his skin condition. I must say that the first time i used it, i was a bit concerned about its cleansing abilities and that’s only because it is cream-based and does not foam.

I like the delicate smell of this soap. I have sensitive, dry skin and can’t use strongly perfumed products. This soap was perfect for me, not drying at all. Would highly recommend whether you have sensitive skin or not.

This has been my go-to soap during Corona. My hands have become dry from excessive hand washing, but this soap is super gentle and moisturizing. It produces really nice lather which gives a good sense “cleanliness” trying to avoid the virus! Recommended!.

Seriously this is the best bar soap that I have ever used. I have extremely sensitive skin and most sensitive cleansers either over clean or don’t clean enough. This is a happy medium. My mom has developed skin issues as she has gotten older and she loves it too.

This is the best soap. I am SO upset it is unavailable. Every other soap, literally every one I have tried breaks me out over time. My husband and one of my daughters have this sensitivity as well and this soap was the fix.

The other Shea Moisture options don’t hold a candle to this soap. BRING IT BACK! Please!.

I am an adult with a recent history of dyshidrotic eczema since the pandemic. This wash is safe for me and does not irritate my hands at all. I needed something that bubbled more than cetaphil because I was just not feeling clean enough.

This is an excellent addition to use a few times a week for me yo clean my body, face and hands/ feet. I am scared to use anything but glad I have this a try.

I absolutely love this product! Although it states “baby†I use this for my son who is 6 and has extremely sensitive skin to wash products. I only use Dove products with him until I tried this product.

My son suffers from Eczema flare ups, which get especially bad in the dry winter months. Usually I focus on using an Eczema cream for him and never though about a wash. This has been great to incorporate into our routine.

He still prefers some soap in the tub that gives him some the bubbles but I make a point of using this for cleansing. This doesn’t lather so takes some getting used to as far as use but I can tell its very gentle and appreciate that its fragrance, dye and soap free.

My baby has reactive skin, mild to moderate eczema, and some food allergies/sensitivities which prevent us from using products with most nut or seed oils. Oatmeal is also still up in the air due to contamination with wheat which he is allergic to.

This product works better than the Cerave baby wash I was using prior. The Cerave is gentle and not drying, but was still making his face itch after shampooing. This does not make him itch and actually leaves his face baby soft as it should be where it runs down after shampooing.

It also leaves his hair shiny, so I don’t have to use conditioner if I decide not to. Thank you for making these products! My baby is happy and it’s helping his skin.

I bought this for my two month old, and it’s so gentle. He loves his baths, but it seems like he likes this soap even more than others I’ve tried. It gives me peace of mind that it’s all natural and safe for sensitive skin.

People have had concerns in the reviews of it being too exfoliating. It’s ruff to the touch, but getting it wet and rubbing it on a washcloth doesn’t cause extra exfoliation. The oat flower and cornstarch just melt once wet.

I believe that to be the reason for the ruff bar.

I use the Milk & Honey Baby Soap exclusively for my face and neck. I am over 40 and have suffered with acne, redness and irritation since age 12 or so. After years of trying over-the-counter products and name brand soaps, toners, etc.

, I decided to give natural soaps a try. I tried every “face” soap Chagrin Valley offers for at least two weeks each but saw little improvement. I liked the way the goat milk and oatmeal soap made the rest of my skin feel, though, so I bought the “Baby” version to try on my face.

The results have been wonderful. The redness disappeared with just a couple of uses. (My husband even asked if I had changed my makeup — and I wasn’t wearing any. ) My breakouts, while not completely eradicated, have dramatically decreased.

The irritation (itchiness) is gone. I do still need moisturizer to help with seasonal dryness or oily areas (I use a DIY facial oil), but I am very, very pleased with this soap and plan to continue using it.

I bought this soap to minimize plastic waste and avoid chemicals. Before trying it on my babies, I tried it on myself for ~2 weeks. The soap per se is pretty good, does not lather as much as, say, dove, but may be thats the good part of it.

The only concern I have is, the soap texture is kind of that of an exfoliant. I am not sure if it is good to use it everyday. Usually exfoliating skin once a week should be ok, rather than everyday. So I am skeptical of using it on a daily basis on myself/babies.

That said, I have NOT had any adverse side effects with this soap and my skin has not broken or dried out because of it. Hence I want to continue using this soap at least intermittently. It would be nice to know if Chagrin Valley makes any soap that is non-exfoliating for sensitive skin.

That said, my husband really liked this soap, particularly, its exfoliating function. So at least he will use it daily, he says.

I’ve been using cetaphil soothing baby wash on my son since he was a newborn. He is 2 years old and we still use this product during every bath. I love the gentle smell of this wash. It has never irritated or dried out my son’s skin.

It’s a bit more pricey than other brands, but I use cetaphil face and body wash for myself and don’t mind spending extra money to ensure my son has good products as well. Highly recommend to others!.

The smell is SO YUMMY!! This is way more gentle on your children’s skin and doesn’t strip their skin of moisture. Compared to main stream brands this one is far superior. It leaves my sons hair so silky soft and yummy smelling.

What I love about this body wash for babies is it is for sensitive skin and it’s as super gentle and really moisturized his skin. It is a smaller bottle of product compared to others but it really is amazing to use.

This product has a weird awful smell. please be cautions before trying it on baby’s skin. It is very drying and just on one application my baby ended up having red inflammatory bumps on skin. I noticed that my hands too felt very dry , itchy and reddish after giving bath to my baby.

Looks like one or more ingredients can cause flare ups or worsen sensitive and eczema skin conditions. Definitely do not recommend for infants and babies with dry, sensitive or eczema conditions. Not all organic products are skin friendly.

I ordered the fragrance free and have been very happy with it. I love natural products that are safe and not harmful. My youngest is 4 months old but my two older kids have also been using this as well.

I love how much it foams up. I am not a fan of soaps that have an overwhelming scent especially for babies so I really like how they have the fragrance free option.

Found this at my local target, I originally wasn’t going to get it because it had fragrance but it says on the bottle pthalate free. The lavender scent is nice, but I’m giving it four stars because it isn’t truly a lavender.

It still has a babyish smell to it. I would like it more if it was a true lavender but it’s not bad. It definitely helped our six week old sleep longer I think. She was very sleepy after using it. She slept about a 6 1/2 hour stretch last night and her typical time is 4-5.

I appreciated that she still didn’t smell like the fragrance this morning as well the fragrances that are long lasting are too much. We got these to help soothe the rash she has, we have yet to see if it helps but I did notice her skin felt smoother after.

This product does have petroleum which isn’t great but it probably helps heal the skin because it keeps it from drying out. Overall it is a good value, I got the lotion on sale for around five dollars for a big bottle.

First off, I love that it is free of fragrances, soaps, phthalates, parabens, sulfates and phenoxyethanol. Being free of all of these makes me feel safer using this product on my son. The Soothing Hydration Creamy Wash is thick, creamy and only a small amount is needed.

It does not lather or bubble up the way many other body washes do which is a bit hard to get used to. It rinses extremely well with no soapy residue left behind. Though marketed as fragrance-free, there is a slight oat scent which I really like and that remains on the skin after drying.

In just a weeks use, I’ve noticed that the dry patches on my son look and feel SO much smoother. We will absolutely continue to use Aveeno products in our household.

This Creamy wash is made to soothe dry skin with eczema and irritation. Though it is for babies, I thought to test it on my hands. I have recently developed eczema on my hands and struggle with inflammation as well.

Have tried all eczema lotions and creams but nothing helped. When I received this from influenster, I decided to try it on my eczema to see if this helps. I have been consistently using the creamy wash to wash my hands, follow with the Aveeno soothing hydration moisture cream and my hand have become so soft.

I have retained my original skin and all the flakiness and inflammation seems to go away when I use these products. Right when I ran out of the products and stopped using for 3-4 days, the dryness start to build again.
