20 Best Snow Suits For Toddlers (2023 Updated)

I bought it for my grandson. It’s keeping him warm and happy when we go to the snow. He stays dry, should have bought two of them. Fits perfect for a two year old.

This is a gift for my great grandson, I really like the snowsuit, I have to return it, it runs big, I ordered. 4t , extremely too big, I ordered a 3t, it is also big, he will have plenty of room for growth.

He did not want to take it off. So I can say he was happy with it.

I am fully happy with this suit except for one major flaw. it’s really hard to get on. The zipper goes from neck to lower tummy instead of going down the leg some as it should (as jammies do, as Oakiwear and Muddy Buddy rainsuits do).

My 4 year old has to really struggle to get into it and it takes a long time. I wouldn’t buy another one of this design.

I bought this a month ago for my son. We live in New England and heavy snow gear is a must! I am blown away with the quality of this snow suit! We have already had a couple of opportunities to play in snow and everytime, my 2 year old was dry and very warm when we took him out of it.

I will definitely keep an eye out for this next year!.

We love the Oaki Snow Suit we purchased for our 6 year old who attends an outdoor Forest School. Great quality materials, waterproof outer layer and plenty warm for our Wisconsin winters! Surprisingly the zipper on our original suit broke within a few months, but I received an extremely timely response from Oaki customer service who provided a pre-paid shipping label to send the suit in for evaluation of repair or replacement.

They ended up replacing the suit and it was sent within a week. Excellent customer service! We will be ordering more supplies from Oaki!.

The snow suit stands out from all other American brands. Keeps my son warm and dry for hours in forest school. The kids roll, slide, scoot and climb on snow, ice, rocks and tree trunks. My only complaint is that from 4x washing the seams inside both sleeves have a hole where the yellow fabric connects with the black wrist cuffs.

I’ll try to fix it hopefully it lasts. It’s probably due to washing it on a too intense spinning cycle. If you follow instructions and wash it on gentle it will be dripping wet and take a long time to dry.

Oh my goodness, this is one of the best objects ever made. This snowsuit has saved us this covid winter. Outdoor babysitting in 30-degree weather? No problem! Push it into the 20s, for a bit? Doable! Our kid is the happiest kid at the playground, and when she comes in and we unzip the suit, she is always comfortably warm inside.

The exterior is some kind of lightly rubberized material, and it is *awesome*. Got it big to grow into, and even that isn’t a problem – cuffs and ankles roll just fine. Can I get one in my size?? HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We moved from the warm desert to the Midwest and I knew we would all be cold. Knowing she would want to be outside a lot, I wanted to find the absolute best suit for my young child. I researched a lot as I knew I wanted windproof and waterproof and very warm.

I am familiar with the excellent quality of lands end. I spent the extra money and am glad that I did. I stroller jog in the mornings and the first thing I tested was the warmth- check! It rained. waterproof-check! The rain rolled right off.

As the days grew colder my daughter stayed warm. The cold winds blew. Windproof-check! She wears her suit daily to keep warm and it works! Finally, it snowed and she was able to enjoy the snow for hours.

Now mom needs one! (One extra great feature is that it grows with them a couple of inches! Another reason it is a great investment!).

I originally purchased this snowsuit in a 2T in Dec. 2019 for my then 21/2 year old who is very active in ice skating lessons and loves outdoor activity, involving snow/cold weather. It is now Jan 2021 and the suit still fits, due to it’s well thought out features-grow-a-long sleeves in the arms & legs.

I especially love the snowguard wrist cuffs-this feature is helpful in securing your toddlers mittens that always seem to fall off. It is It is very well padded and durable, washes well too! love this suit so much that I just purchased it in a size 5 today.

Your child will get very good use out of this suit. I wish Lands End would offer more of a variety of sizes in this suit-going to adult.

This was my first time purchasing a snow suit from Lands End and will likely be the last. The snowsuit feels thinner than other brands we have had in the past, and the light colored design shows wear from the playground after two uses.

Haven’t tried washing yet but not thrilled so far.

Purchased on sale, based on many positive reviews. It looks great, classic full body snow suit! The fabric feels durable, the zippers feel smooth and good quality. The insulation feels thick enough to keep a kid warm, but thin enough so that they can still move and play fairly comfortably.

The gussets are great for keeping snow out of boots, and the close fitting hood is great for keeping wind out of the face.

Excellent! Love the waterproofing qualities. Bought a size up so kids should be able to get two seasons out of it. True to size otherwise, but totally wearable if it’s a bit big.

This product appears to be well crafted. I would like to know it’s temperature rating.

My daughter wore it for the first time today and she absolutely loved it! She’s 5 and loved being able to get it on quickly and was so happy she could do it all by herself lol. I ordered her a size 6 as that’s her normal size and it fit a bit big which is perfect! I’m hopping to get her a few seasons out of it.

She said she was supper warm in the colder morning we had today So that’s a definite bonus. Also the colour is perfect!.

Really happy with my purchase. I bought 2! one for my son and one for my daughter. Just a little disappointed that there weren’t more colour choices. My daughter likes pink and purple. There wasn’t one in her size in the pink, and obviously there was no purple.

It would be awesome if there was more girly colour choices and my son would have really like to have his in reds. The blues are nice. Just a suggestion. Also the pictures of the onesies literally arrive looking just like the picture, so that is a plus.

Still to be used but seems warm and well made. My 4 year old enjoys wearing it which is a big plus. The color is also gorgeous. There are straps on the inside back of the overall to wear the top “as a backpack” which is handy if you are to go indoors for a while plus the waist is adjustable.

The reinforced areas are at the right spots and made of tough fabric. Little features I would have hoped for for this price : more reflective stripes (only on the top, none in the legs), an outgrow seam to get more wear out of the suit and adjustable wrists but it is a great overall at a great price (got it on sale).

This is the second Oaki snowsuit purchased for a grandchild. The first one worked so well as she grew the next size up was purchased. Mom loves everything about it – color, warmth, waterproof, ability to keep a tiny one toasty outside for hours.

Well worth the money.

Runs large. Looks great. Insulated but not too thick. Held up in 7 degree snowy weather with no problem and no concerns about waterproof quality. Would recommend!

Very disappointing in your sizing and in the lack of communication with your company! I bought this snowsuit for my granddaughter and it is extremely large! I could fit two of her in it! I am most disappointed because I tried to communicate with you prior to purchasing for help in determining the size.

The only way to communicate is through email so it took so long the pink color I wanted was sold out by the time I got an answer. The sizing on the smallest snowsuit was 6-18 months which is ridiculous- too large a range.

However, I was finally told it should work for my 9 month old. After ordering, it took almost a month to receive. Upon receipt we found it was much too large. And now I’ve noticed the pink, which is what I originally wanted is back in stock.

Don’t know what to do. Too late to get another if it takes a month! I guess I’ll have to return for a refund. How long will that take?! So very disappointed!.

My daughter looks absolutely adorable in her snow suit! She also likes it as she admired it, touching, feeling and just being pleased with it on! Everyone one who saw her in it, including strangers turned their heads and complimented her and I on her and her new snowsuit.

Despite having to wait one whole month to receive the product, we were not disappointed when we finally received it. The quality is excellent, the fit is wonderful with great extra-long sleeves and a quick diaper-change zipper in the snow pants! Great idea.

The jacket with fur trim is cozy and warm for my grandson when we take long walks in the park. All snaps, no buttons for quick on and off. This grandmama is most pleased with her grandson’s new snow suit! (We ordered a size up hoping to get two winter seasons out of this suit.

Although a bit big this winter, the sleeves and pant legs are easy to roll up and adjust to fit. ).

This is the second Buga suit my 9 and 10 year old have owned. Their previous suits fit them perfectly for 2 years after I dropped the stitching on the second year! They are amazing. Dry, easy to layer with and my kids have always been able to get these off an on easily.

With the amount of winter adventures my kids have had and how some of the snow play can turn muddy after hours of play, their suits held up incredibly. No rips, not even stains. No hesitation to buy two more for another round.

I have always told my family – there is no bad weather, just bad gear.

I’ve bought these suits two years in a row now for my twins. This year will be my last. I’ll be going back to MEC suits. All 4 suits have fallen apart before the end of the season. The reflective features rip and then peel off.

The inside of one suit ripped along the seam. They don’t hold up to their waterproof claim either. Bums and knees are wet when we return inside. Lastly, in order for customer service to even rectify any issues I must ship the suits back to be inspected on my own dollar, leaving my kids without a winter suits! Very displeased.

I run a daycare and won’t be recommending to families.

This well made snowsuit looks like a mini snowmobile outfit – in a good way. Utilitarian, with tough panels on the knees and bottom, it looks like it will take some abuse. It keeps my 2. 5yr old dry, and fairly warm, though I feel it could use a bit more insulation.

In terms of fit, a 2T seems a little short for him in the body, and he’s not the tallest kid for his age. The arms and legs are a perfect fit and can be extended next winter, but the torso probably won’t be long enough next year.

Overall satisfied for this year, but was hoping to get another winter out of it.

Great quality. You can tell this is a premium snowsuit. The attention to detail is great. I love the button snap at the top that is at the perfect height. It doesn’t choke but prices great coverage. Pattern is very playful.

Does size large but it means we can get alot of use it of it. Check the measurements on the Reima sizing chat to get the best idea. Will definitely order more Reima products on the future.

I have heard and read great things about this brand so I decided to buy a could things this year. 3 year old is approx. 36 1/2 inches tall, I ordered a 3T for him and it fits great. He has a little bit of room to grow but if he decides to have a major growth spurt this year not sure if we would be able to use this suit next winter.

I do think if I ordered the 4T it would be too big and uncomfortable. Quality is amazing, feels warm, cozy and the hoodie fits him great. As for Performance I don’t know yet since we just bought it but I wanted to make sure I put sizing info out there since it can be a little challenging for brands that run big.

This is my second Reima snowsuit. I use for my 23 month old son. The sizing is great, a 2T will fit him all year, and he is on the large side. He comes out toasty warm and dry every time. We live in Montana and they need dependable gear for the outdoors and Reima snowsuits are the absolute best!.

This Suit is amazing for all outdoor activities. Full disclosure, we received this suit from Backcountry, but it has been an excellent addition over the last month as the cold temperatures and snow have been somewhat relentless! Our child has been out sledding, digging, even shoveling (!), and it keeps a perfect temperature.

The fact that it is one piece means that snow never gets in and the loops at the end of the legs sops snow from dumping into the boots. It has also been great for school as there are no extra parts to lose and it’s easy on and off for the staff.

Overall, we are really pleased and it is a little big, so there is at least a year or two left in its life cycle for us.

Every detail is thought through. No chance for snow to get into! Warm, waterproof, comfortable, stylish, the best suit we could ever get for our child. Good waist band that allows to make the suit “smaller” and it will be ok to grow into without being too large.

I’m so pleased I ordered 2 different Sizes for my grandson to grow into. Very well made and quality is exceptional. It’s not often I find items this well made. M&S have gone down hill in winter coats and snow suits since my kids were little.

Will be ordering again when my grandson needs any new coats.

This snowsuit is the BEST! Extremely warm but not too bulky. I ordered the 2T for my son who just turned 2. It’s big but still fits and will be perfect for the whole season. Very good quality. I love the foot straps.

Snowsuit looks nice, shipping was quick. I like the design in that it has some wiggle room to grow. I would give a 5 star review, but as I was putting it on my kid for the first time today (first snow fall), one of the snap buttons on the leg ankle tightening area fell off in my hand.

I hadn’t even taken the tags off the suit yet since it had never been worn or even tried on and it’s snap buttons are falling off? Not a great sign for durability:/. I was disappointed since these suits are not cheap and I’m starting to think I might have severely overpaid for a mediocre quality item.

Here I was thinking it would last for at least 2 siblings. *sigh*.

Super cute and great quality snowsuit. I was too sure about the flowers at first when I saw online but it’s so pretty in person. I’m glad I bought it. Love the one piece so the snow won’t come inside when we go play outside.

Looks nice and warm too. The only downside, I feel like it could be a couple inches longer. When my daughter sit, it goes up quite a bit. The size up was way too baggy on her. Hoping it will last all winter.

I recently ordered this beautiful winter suit that had outstanding quality but unfortunately it was to small and no other size was available for my child therefor I had to return it. The service I gotten from Agatha was outstanding and I was quickly refunded! Highly recommend this snowsuit if it’s available for the size you need! The picture shows the true colour as well.

The snowsuit is beautiful, but unfortunately it’s way too big!! My daughter is 2. 5 years old, 35 inches tall, and I started buying 4T clothing this Fall. The 2T snowsuit I purchased is about 3 inches too long.

I wish I had known to round DOWN on the size chart. She won’t be wearing this snowsuit this year; cold air would seep in all over.

I bought the yellow snowsuit for my son that is 15 months ( he is slightly above average size in weight and height in the 70th percentile for both). The size guide was spot on to get the size that lines up with their age.

I got the 12-18 month size and it’s perfect. Definitely has room to grow so I hope it fits next winter! The color is beautiful but the best part is how comfortable he is in it. It’s not bulky at all and warm enough for just a base layer underneath.

I know we will continue to purchase reima as he grows.

These snowsuits are brilliant. Really warm, water & windproof, fleece lined. We had one in khaki last year and have re-bought in navy next size up. As other people have said they are massive so size down.

We just bought 1. 5 – 2 Yr for our 2 Yr old and it’s still big. Lots of room to grow into.

It is quite oversized for my 2. 5 yr old. She is quite tall but 2-3 is abit big. Decided to keep it though as she can get away with it when wearing wellies and hopefully it will last us next winter too.

If you want perfect fit size down otherwise amazing quality puddlesuit definitely worth the pennies.

Love these, I buy them every other year because the sizing is generous it lasts a little longer. This one is a bit short in the arms though, the arm length seems the same length as the 2-3Y. Other than that it’s warm cosy and perfect for winter adventures.

When we received the product, we were shocked. Maybe the down inside is extremely high quality, however it is not sufficient. When you grab it, it feels like fabric on fabric. You cannot even feel the down inside.

It is totally different from Canada Goose adult products. Especially chest area is extremely weak where it should be the strongest considering a baby will wear it. The refund process was full of pain and tear as well.

They are not replying your emails in a timely manner. They failed to provide feedback of receiving the return item. I had to give them a heads up after 10 days. So 14 days after they received the item, they started the process of refund.

I am guessing it will take another 10 business days for refund. We went and bought a Moncler instead. It is extremely puffy and very protective for now at 6°C. I think our baby would have been frozen with this product.

We live in northern Alberta. Purchased the 6-12mo for our baby born in June. She is 90th percentile in height and weight. In November at 5 months old the suit was still quite big but we put her in it and strapped her into the stroller and she was cozy warm anyways.

Jan/Feb it fits her well now. Love how the fur hood is removable. We will use this for our next children, the quality is unreal.

Simply put, there is no other snowsuit that compares to this one for my little guy. Last winter we purchased the blue one and he wore it every single day in the freezing Minnesota winter. I barely had to bundle him up (which was amazing!), all I had to put on him was fleece long underwear, socks, mittens, hat, boots and this snowsuit and he was able to roll, jump and run around in the snow as much as he wanted, even when it was in the single digits.

This year we had to buy a new one to go up a size but the one from last year has no damage to it which speaks to the quality (especially since my son wasn’t exactly careful with it). I couldn’t be happier with this snowsuit and love that he can play outside as much as he wants during the long freezing winter and stay warm.
