If I rated the snow caster based on how it performs I would give it between 4 and 4 1/2 stars easy. It works surprisingly well if you don;t try to push too much now with it. However, if I had to rate it on the build quality and value for the price, I’d give it between 2 1/2 to 3 stars.
It doesn’t feel like it’s going to hold up very well over time. The handle where it attaches to the blade bracket is pretty flimsy and weak feeling and the wheels and bracket flex under the weight of anything other than light fluffy snow.
At over $100 they must be making a decent profit since the materials used are quite cheap feeling. The blade itself seems strong and that;s good but if they made the handle, wheels and bracket stronger, it would seem like a much better value.
I found that I had enough strength to push more snow than the snowcaster could handle.

Best snow shovel I’ve ever owned. Love it. This thing does the job and does it right; hard core too, I love that you can flip it around and break up ice, stuck snow, and clear off sidewalks. This was my second one and it was nice to have the bigger size 24″.
I highly recomend this for anyone who lives in snowy areas.
it scrapes down the walks and driveways pretty good anything packed down it will come up. pushes the snow really well. but for lifting the snow not all that great. let say if you have a enclosed deck or stairs thumbs down it just keeps falling off the shovel.
I would give it a 5 star if it worked better on the lifting part. still using it because it works well on walks maybe. I will get the hang of it.

The grip handle is too tight and is hard. When you re pushing the snow you can feel the vibration and hardness. Other brands or products are using flexible handles which are more convenient Otherwise the shovel blade is broad and is doing a good job in pushing away the show from your drive way.

When my snow blower wouldn’t start, shoveling with a traditional shovel became an issue. My neighbor had one of these “snow pushers” so I bought one. I love it! It moves a lot of snow very quickly. It is not as effective with large storms of 6 inches or more, but other than that, it is a terrific product!.
The shovel has a good scraping edge, I can clear the snow down to the pavement. The best feature of this shovel. It is a bit flimsy though, I bent the aluminum hand while shoveling. The two screws that fasten the handle to the shovel loosen during use, I have retighten them so they fall out.
What a huge upgrade from my previous standard orange shovel! I wanted something wide, that would keep pushing without coming over the top of the shovel, and this is perfect. My job is done in half the time, with much less frustration.

It’s not really made as a digging shovel. It’s for pushing. My driveway is 210 feet long plus a turn around. When there’s not enough snow to use my tractor or blower I can push this from side to side and have the driveway done in no time at all! The surface is very smooth and slick so the snow doesn’t stick to it.

Well made pusher but has a basic flaw. There is no metal strip so the plastic is warped up in the middle. It leaves a 1/2″ deep, 8″ wide track of snow right in the middle of the shoveled snow. Maybe if used enough it would wear down the edges so the center would make contact with the driveway or sidewalk.
I love this shovel. It works great when pushing heavy or light snow. It’s one of the few out there that has no metal on the end and is still very durable. Just don’t try and break up thick chunks of ice with it.
