20 Best Snow Bibs For Toddlers (2023 Updated)

Bought these for a ski trip. They kept the kids warm and dry, fabric felt great especially on the knees. Was a tough fabric there. Kids enjoyed wearing them. EXCEPT, after the 1st time wearing them skiing my son managed to rip the fabric by the knee.

It was the seem that spilt. I sewed it and the fabric is so tough it made me break a needle. Columbia needs to use better and heavier stitching on this area in the pants. If they could do that these would probably last a long time.

I have always purchased Columbia snow pants and jackets for my kids but this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. These pants didn’t even make it through one season with my daughter. The fabric is really thin, so the slightest piece of ice or hard snow rips them (small slices).

The bottoms only have reinforcement on one side so the other side becomes shredded to the elastic inside. Also after playing outside, my daughter has taken them off and the knees of her pants were soaked.

Definitely not the usual Columbia quality.

I love the quality of these pants, which I bought to go with the matching jacket. These look and feel as though they are well made. I wanted something durable and robust, for skiing and school and I think these hit the mark.

I deliberately purchased a size up from what my daughter wears, hoping we will get two seasons of wear out of these. She is typically a girls size XS, or a 4/5. The size 6 pants are roomy and we might get two winters out them, but surprisingly they are not as large as I thought they would be.

So I would say these fit a little on the smallish size. The colour (raspberry) is beautiful – a bright red, accented by sections of bright orange. Perfect for being able to easily spot your child on the slopes!.

Bought these for my 5 year old. Previously he has north face bib pants. On the NF, I found the material to be softer than I would have liked. He used them for outdoor school. 2 months in, I had to reinforce the butt, knees and seams, as all started to show early wear and holes, with the very heavy demand of outdoor school use.

When I received these pants I was happier than the construction compared to our previous NF pants. They seem heavier duty, and have nicely articulated and reinforced knees. My son moves well in them, so he is free to play.

I like the strap that goes under the foot arch to keep the inner pant in the boot. As well I like the Velcro straps over the shoulder on the bib for a custom fit. So far much more impressed with these over the comparable NF pants he previously had.

These bibs are great but the zipper does not go down far enough for my son to go to the bathroom with pulling the whole thing down. Due to the arm circumstance being small, he can’t get this back on himself in bathroom.

He has to walk out of bathroom holding he top part so I can put the top back together. These bibs are warm and he has skiied in below 10 degrees and he only complained of being cold once. In 20-30 degree temp he has never been cold.

I bought these because I had loved the earlier version last year. This new model has: Has less area covered with the rough material. Still Not bulky. Still Quality material. Elastic strech panels on sides instead of zipper.

on one side. Big difference is the bottom: instead of eolling up the bottoms pf the pants (which had extra rough protective material) They put the hidden inseam that you cut out when ready to grow. However I like this less because it allows for less adjustments.

They added a little back velcro to tighten the bottom so it does not hang on the floor. but the interior on the bottom of the pants (foot/leg area) no longer had the rough material so you cannot roll up the pants without exposing the “fragile” inside liner.

Still keeping them. They look good and I love the not builky/waterproof features. Orange really is NEON construction orange. I love it for my daunting toddler. The difference between size 2 and 3 and huge (more than 4 inches) compared to the difference between the size 3 and 4.

We are a tried and true HH household, especially for kids winter wear. These are the best snow pants ever. My boys are SUPER HARD on their gear, and yet these pants get handed down looking brand new between all three of my boys to date.

We have three pairs in different sizes, and each one has had 2 winter seasons out of each pair. We live in Alberta and not once has anyone complained of being cold or wet – always toasty dry. My boys are avid outdoors in the snow, we are outside a lot, so these pants have had no shortage of use!! Hands down, I prefer these specific pants over anything from MEC, most durable gear piece we own and have ever tried – any we’ve tried a lot! My only complaint is they run short in the leg lengths.

Which is great for two of my boys, sadly they are the younger two so my oldest grows out of the length too fast, whereas my younger two grow out of the width before they grow out of the length.

I love the color and the pants is well designed. My little boy loves it. The size runs on the large side. But I believe it will last a while. The only thing is there is no zipper in the middle. First I thought it could be hard to put it on but actually not too bad.

I also bought same color top. Looks so cute. I love the design that I can tight the bottom of the pants.

These are nice heavy weight snow pants. Not made cheaply

Love the overall design. Fit is a bit off. I should wear a small by the chart and past TNF pants. Those were tight enough, I wanted to avoid a blowout and sized up. No buckle release on either shoulder.

Had to extend the adjustment all the way out on the elastic to get it over my head plus take off helmet, mid layers to take a bio break. Big problem for instructor with short breaks. Just modified today by inserting a 1.

Boulder Gear makes the best snow bibs for kids. This is great for girls, has a decorative tulip hem. Best feature is Velcro shoulders to adjust body length.

These snow bibs are a great quality! The size guide isn’t great. The size suggested for my child was about four inches too long.

Size 6 is too wide for my skinny 7 year old. Unlike some of the other bibs we had, it does not have ways to tighten around the torso for a snug fit.

Bought this for my son when he was 2. The outer material is very sturdy. He’s fallen on pavement with it on and there’s no holes on the knees. I also like that it’s all velcro and allows my son to be independent while putting it on at daycare.

I bought the next few sizes for him already!.

Looks just like the picture. Fits just right so get a size larger. Seem to run small. The shoulder straps adjust easy enough. Over all seems like they’ll work out just fine.

Super warm fleece inside. The quality is amazing. I have been buying these for 5 years now for my kids. Never have they been damaged & they wash well too.

Used it for skiing for the first time for my toddler. Very easy wear. He seemed very comfortable. No complaints from him. Purchased a size up, I believe it runs short that worked well for his length.

He’s a tall 3. 5 years old so got a 5t.

These are great. My 4 yo is in the snow weekly and he so far has no real complaints about cold or snow getting where it shouldn’t. The stirrup strap things don’t work very well, and that’s a bit of a shame, but the legs are long enough, so whatever.

I didn’t want to spend a fortune on this since they only wear it for one season. We don’t live in a snowy area so it’s hard to find it second hand too so glad that I found these on zulily for cheap! The bibs are your standard overall type with a zip so it should work perfectly for our upcoming ski trip.

I purchased for my 3 year old an it was a perfect fit. He is a big boy and wear 4T. I was very happy product was true to size.

Love these. We bought them in orange for our son in a 4T when he was four and got two years out of them. We bought these in a 5T for our son this year (just turned 6). We tried them in Boys XS, but they were far too long.

The 5T fit very well. He is average height and weight, roughly 45 pounds. We should get two seasons with these as well when we extend the length. Wish the blue had a contrasting black knee like the orange ones did, but nonetheless, they are great and our son always finds them easy to get on and off at school and on the weekends.

Bought these 4T bibs for my 3-year old. They fit well enough now and will have tons of room to grow-plus, fit around her ski boots, which is why we were sizing up. She even picked out the color herself, so she likes them! Thanks!.

It’s a great outfit for my baby to wear on rainy or snowy days and do outdoor activities. The size is appropriate, too. It is light, so it is easy for children to wear and take off. I bought a pink one.

My daughter loves it so much. It’s a lovely color. Even if water gets on it, it dries quickly.

Great snow pants, warm and waterproof. Lots of room to grow/adjust with the shoulder snaps as well as the possibility to let out about an inch in the legs. Love these pants. Ordered a size 4 for my almost four year old and hoping to get two seasons out of them!.

see my 2 attached pics. I had the all in motion brand but they were a bit too big (she wore them in a huge snowstorm earlier this year but I put them in the closet) so I got the cat & Jack brand in a pinch.

mistake. my 5yo was outside for about 20 min in less than 2inches of snow. when she came in I noticed the Snowbib, from the knees down were very wet. I turned them inside out and they were wet inside, along with her sweatpants.

these are going straight in the trash. I should’ve just put the larger all in motion brand snowbib on her, even tho they were a bit big, at least they kept her warm AND DRY earlier this year. imagine if there were more snow and she was out longer.

These are a really great snow bib for kids. They are well made with a reinforced knee, adjustable waistband and shoulder straps. There is an elastic band that goes around the ankles to keep snow out of boots.

As the child grows, there is some stitching in the legs that you can remove to lengthen them. These snow bibs will likely last for at least 2 winters. My son loves the blue color and playing outside in the snow with these snow bibs on.

Love the color and the price. My toddler girl walks in it comfortably. Just be on a lookout that it runs bigger in size. My daughter is 20 months old and in 92 percentile height. Basically all clothes for 2T is getting small on her lately.

We got size 2T for her of this pants and had to exchange it to 18 months and still have to fold the bottom of the pants. Other than that I recommend!.

I have purchased many items from LL Bean in the past few years, a lot of the items being for my toddler son. I want quality items that will last a season (or two), plus be able to be hand me downs for future nephews.

That being said, these were a disappointment. I bought a down fill coat for my son last year and mittens (both great, by the way!) and wanted bibs to match. I had him wear them once this past weekend, and I really did not like the fact the straps are not adjustable.

With the straps being one length, it makes it difficult to get a good fit. The straps also felt really cheap. If I expect my son to wear these while playing outside they have to be comfortable. I am thankful they have a generous return policy, as I cannot justify keeping these at this price point.

Looks really nice with the Color Block Down Jacket. Well made looks very durable and worm. I really like having the inner elastic linning for going over the boots.

Love these a lot! Would give 5 stars if they had clips or buckles. Tough to work with on our freshly potty trained kiddo
