20 Best Sneakers For Skinny Jeans (2023 Updated)

My daughter needed new sneaks, literally had holes in her current pair. (college student??) After much debate she chose these. They were delivered on time, the day before her spring break trip. She grabbed them up and put them in her suitcase.

A day later, she goes to put them on… the friggin’ sensor is still attached. I bought them in so cal, she’s in Hawaii. What a hassle! She’s been home another week. Has to take an Uber downtown to dsw… to get this fixed.

Slow down dsw people and do your job correctly. I know your busy, but customers are busy too. I have to pay my daughter’s Uber fare for your incompetence. Karma one day.

Bought these to wear as an active shoe for heavy weight lifting because of the flat soles. I’m now wearing them everywhere else too because they’re so comfy. Great for casual things like walking about while shopping, and working out.

My feet are just a little wide and these are perfect. True to size, numerically (11 for me). I put a full length insole inside as well and it worked out great. Not a running shoe as I found they rubbed my heels a little when trying to run or walk fast on a treadmill.

I was really excited to wear these shoes as I have been a ride or die for my white converse but I thought it was time to wear a comfier* shoe. This is not the case. Since wearing these shoes I have had severe knee pain.

As soon as I take the shoe off for an hour the knee pain goes away. I’m 25 years old and have never had any pain in my legs – ever! I’ve even switched up to wear my converse for a whole day and no knee pain at all.

These shoes are the opposite of comfortable and I realize now I need to invest in a good pair of nikes.

I am a big fan of Keds and have many pairs. Added these white leather Alleys to my collection and am really pleased I did. Usually a size 9, but ended up returning them and went with the 9. 5. Removed liner and put in Dr.

Scholl’s for my plantar fasciitis issues. They have a fabric tongue, so are less stiff than other brands reviewed. I have a more narrow foot and these fit great!!.

They were too narrow for me so I had to return them. I wear a 10, regular width, but my foot is on the wide side of medium. These seem like the sizing just stretches them out longer and doesn’t account for the additional width that typically comes with a larger size.

The leather and padding was nice and footbed felt soft and squishy.

A few months ago, I saw a pair of sneakers that looked JUST like this for a MUCH higher price tag. I couldn’t believe it when I saw these “new” sneakers online. I was disappointed that the promo code did NOT include Keds.

I found them to be true to size.

Great color and very comfortable but shoe fabric is too thin and won’t last very long. The fabric seems to be very delicate and will be ruined quickly.

These are very nice looking shoes, perfect for cold days. They are best suited for casual wear- but not for all day long standing. Love them! Comfortable and great looking !

These have an incredibly comfortable feel straight away. I was a little concerned about the white sole sticking out too much but in person, it doesn’t look as wide as in the pictures. The soles provide enough traction.

I bought this shoes online and the first time I try it on the purple strap broke. Disappointed. I love PUMA shoes and buy them all the time for years. Was always happy with the quality of the sneakers.

This pair was of a bad quality.

This shoe is a work in progress. It is overpriced to be sure. Certain qualities are missing that would make this a really good investment. First of al. the heel counter is not very strong. Rule of thumb is, if you need a stable heel, it should be higher and much firmer.

It adds to pronation and subpronation, which is rolling to the inside or the outside. This effects the knees and the hips and spine. It was noticeable. A good heel counter will counteract this and give you a straighter, more stable stride.

This shoe does not have it. The sock abrasion material in the heel is sub par. It is not thick enough. It would have solved a lot of problems. The material would have held the sock and the foot from slippage.

Now I will preface this by saying that by not being able to try the shoe on, you could not know how wide the last or bottom soul for the shoe would be. I am not upset by that, but if I were to buy this shoe again, I would have gone for the medium width.

Another feature that a really good walking or running shoe has is an extra lace whole over the ankle area. This again would draw the heel back into the counter and give you a more secure fit. It is also the reason that the laces are much too long for this shoe.

This would have made all the difference in the world in the orthopedic value of this shoe. I always walk in a shoe a couple of days to get a feel for it and by just ordering a very secure and solid EVA plantar fasciitis friendly insert, it made all the difference and gave me the stability and comfort that I needed.

I was going to return this shoe, but I feel that I want to see how long the shoe lasts. I walk 2-4 miles a day so I am curious to see how it holds up now. The bottom part of the shoe is fine and the rubber soul bottom is very good.

It just needed some changes to the concept design and for paying so much, you got very little evidence to justify the cost The other day I saw that Propét came out wit a newer, more built up walking shoe.

I think it looks better than this one. However, you can spend less with some of the name brand shoes and come up with a better outcome. Nice try, but it just misses on key issues.

I had been looking for a pair of red sneakers and came upon this pair. I had not heard of the Propet brand and was a little skeptical. I do not consider my feet wide but I generally wear Medium width shoes.

Unfortunately, Medium width was unavailable in my size. After reading the reviews, I decided to order the Narrow width. The shoes arrived, I tried them on and walked around the house; perfect fit! I have since worn them to the gym for a workout.

I will be keeping them.

Approved by my 29 year old autistic son! Rare genetic disorder resulting in very flat, very wide feet from extra toes, and orthopedic issues that give him a penguin like gait. Never wears shoes in the house, only slippers with no “innards”.

Tried these on him and he wore them all day and up until bed time. I had to force him to take them off before I went to bed (or they would have been missing the “innards” by morning. Love that they are the same colors as the last pair we were able to get him to agree to eight years ago.

Look and, I’m guessing feel great, because he doesn’t communicate in a normal way. Was recently told he may have Gout, but now am thinking his shoes were causing the irritation on his big toe area while he was walking on his treadmill.

Have not seen any irritation since receiving his new shoes. Will make it more enjoyable to exercise-if that is possible!.

I’m a 10. 5. Reviews left me doubting which size I should buy. I bought 10, 10. 5, 11. 10. 5 was the way to go. They’re nice leather sneakers. I would prefer Stan Smiths (for $40ish less) but I want to wear leather and Stans are some kind of not-leather substitute.

These shoes look and feel awesome. I was very surprised the seem on the heel popped open and leather ripped when I first put them on. Terribly disappointing for a pair of $200+ leather shoes.

Beautiful stylish well made sneakers. A bit big I am a 10 -10 1/2 and got a 10 and that is a bit big. Though when it is hot and your feet swell I find them perfect. You need some room inside. They are thin which are perfect for my thin foot.

The 9 1/2 way too small. I wore them to work stood walked for five hrs straight. Not comfortable right out the box if worn that long they need to be broken in. Fyi I put bandaids on prior was wearing no shoes socks.

Prob better for shorter time periods to wear not a work shoe…maybe they will be more comfy after breaking in. Leather a bit stiff hopefully with soften too. There is cushion…not enough for standing long periods.

In a perfect world I could take out sole and put an insole but it is not removable. I do have some confidence they will get comfier. I think all leather shoes need break in time.

I can’t get enough of these sneakers. Have several pairs and every time I see them on sale I’m compelled to purchase “just one more” pair. They’re addictive! I love these so much – for so many reasons! 1) The fit is SO comfortable: supportive (good arch support), true to size, and the padded areas for ankle support are perfectly placed.

2) These don’t require breaking in – they’re good to go right out of the box. 3) So super cute in all the various color combinations. It’s the same sneaker style as the one with the striping on sides (have several pairs of these, too).

4) I’ve had a few pairs for over a year and have worn them quite a bit – they still look new. And feel amazing. 5) The quality is phenomenal: very well made, stitching is flawless, even the laces are high quality.

I bought these for a trip to Italy in August. I needed something cute and comfortable that I could walk many miles in style and comfort, these are it! They are great because you can wear them with shorts, dresses, skirts, tights, jeans (you get it, with everything).

The white have a light gold stripe on the back and on the tongue which I think makes them look dressier; you also get gold laces in case you want to use those instead of the white ones. The only negative, they squeak a lot when you walk.

They did not during the first few days, but now the squeak is pretty loud. Not a deal breaker for me, but may be for some. Overall I am really happy with these supportive adorable white sneakers.

Vionic, where have you been all my life?! I have so many uncomfortable sneakers, expensive sneakers, in my closet. Finally, I found sneakers that are not only comfortable but also fashionable. I purchased the white leather.

I wear an 8 in sneakers and the fit is perfect! Medium width is exactly as it is supposed to be. There is a gold stripe down the center of the tongue and down the center back of shoe. I was afraid it might be cheesy looking but it is not.

It’s classy and gives you the ability to wear these awesome shoes as dressy sneakers. Love these shoes!!.

I like this shoe. I bought both black and white versions. Fit with Vionic is hit or miss for me. I’m 5. 5-6. In this shoe, I took a 6, but it was a little loose all over, so I just tightened the shoelaces, as size 5 was too tight near the front toes.

I’d rather have a shoe that fits well for this price, but I do like this style and it’s very comfortable on. I haven’t worn it yet, just getting used to the insole and wear around the house for now.

I’ve worn these multiple times now for a lot of walking and had no problems. I wore them with no-show socks. I struggled trying to figure out what size to get bc I also have a pair of Vans platform slides that I had to order down (size 8) a size.

I wear an 8. 5/9, usually a 9 in flats. For these the size 8. 5 were perfect even with a pair of no-show socks. I do not have narrow feet or wide they’re pretty average. I have a high arch and suffer from plantar fasciitis often and the first time I wore these for a lot of walking I was dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis.

These provided plenty of arch support for me (no additional arch support/inserts used) and I never had any pain even though I was on my feet for a long time.

The smell. Oh, the smell of a fresh shoe. The unboxing is always a wonderful stage as you get the first glance but the smell takes you along to another land, filled with flying unicorns and fresh shoes that grow from the cabbage patch.

This shoe, however, exceeds all others. Soft from the ball of the foot to the tips of the toes, it hugs you into a false sense of something like hovering. The plump cuffs snuggle up gently to your ankles in a manner akin to how you would imagine a calf does to mother cow.

To top it off, you look even cooler wearing them than you do holding them.

The shoe came in a not perfect condition, and I did not realize and wore it just once and when I told JDSports about it all they said was “too bad you wore it already”. So I find that the QC did not even do their job right and also a bad way of handling the case.

I did not know I had to inspect every part of the shoe before wearing a brand new shoe and thought that it had a defect to it. I thought I could have trusted the company and its QC to do a proper job but I guess I was wrong about that.

Also, the shoe has no grip so when the floor is wet the shoe gets slippery. I hope the company would do something about it for both my defective shoe and the grip of the shoe.

Really like these, will go with anything. The TH logo is subtle which I like. Just be aware they run snug enough. I’m usually a uk size 4. 5 to 5 and got them in a 5 and they just about fit. They’re real leather and very soft and comfortable so I think they’re stretch out and mould around the shape of the foot after few wears.

Bought these 3 months ago, but I have not worn them. However they are leather and a very good quality. Delivery was good with frequent updates. The only thing is the shape in front does not appear right to me, other than that, a good shoe.

Really impressed with the fit of these trainers. I have slightly wide feet so always a concern that new shoes will rub. These were spot on, no blisters. Very happy with them. Will be great with jeans or a dress.

I have worn Keds for a while now, but always the canvas kickstart. I got tired of cleaning the canvas & decided to purchase the leather kickstart. It is a game changer!!! It’s so easy to wipe off when they’re dirty.

My only complaint would be that I went from a *stark* white canvas to an off white leather by comparison. I put them side by side & the difference is huge! So, I wish they had an actual *white* leather kickstart.

They’re a classic tennis shoe- wear with a nicer outfit or more casual- they literally go with everything and they’re affordable! This is my favorite shoe!.

I was really excited about getting this Keds based on reviews. When it eventually arrived (long protracted circuitous delivery) I tried it on with some socks. It seemed to fit well so it was a keeper – so I thought.

I then tried it without socks and the shoe was HUGE. I’m so disappointed because they’re really chic. I wished Keds would have alerted customers of their larger sizing so now I’m stuck with a shoes I can’t wear.

Size half size down!.

I liked the sneakers; the leather was nice and the quality was good. I just didn’t realize there were 3 blue keds labels on them; one on the back of shoe which was ok but there was one on the side of the shoe and at the top of the tongue.

That was too many for me (hence the 4 stars) because I really wanted the look of an all-white sneaker so I returned them. Otherwise the shoe was good. Like most keds, they would need to be broken in a little (leather tongue area and heel).

The sole is a bit thicker than the one found on the Zilker. Not as narrow, but not the proper width either. I’ve been waiting to purchase them since they were on pre-order hoping they’ll be better than the Zilker.

I found the Classic to be uncomfortable around the pinky toes because of a very pronounced inside seam, and slightly chunky around the ankle. The insole is the same poor quality found in the Zilker. Because they only come in that off-white color, you can’t really pair them with various outfits.

Just because they have three different colors for the heel tab, doesn’t mean the sneakers are offered in three different colors. In the end is the same color sneaker. I ended up returning them. My overall impression of Suavs: they are Instagram sneakers, not sneakers for real life.

I’ve been holding on to a gift card since January waiting and hoping for a new style of shoe from Suavs. My wait ended when I saw that the Women’s The Classic Sneaker had been added. I love the style upgrade, especially in the heel.

They have a removeable insole which is super-handy because I was able to add a 3/4 arch support insole for my plantar fasciitis underneath. They are so comfortable that it feels like I’m wearing socks.

I’m looking forward to seeing how well they wash up (because WHITE) and also how they feel when wearing barefoot, I haven’t tried that yet. As much as I love them so far, I have to admit that if I hadn’t had the giftcard I probably wouldn’t have considered them for myself.

IMO they are very pricey for a casual sneaker.

I’m so happy with these sneakers. I searched for a long time for a classic style shoe that was washable, was good for all seasons, and sustainably made. I wore these around New York City the day after they were delivered.

I walked for 9 miles and I got zero blisters and was comfy the entire day with no wearing them in or band aids. The fit truly is perfect. These are comfy and look great with any outfit. There was a few small defects with my order but it was easily and quickly resolved with the support team.

I have already recommend them to many friends and I recommend you buy them too!.

First, the shoe is wildly too narrow. I don’t have wide feet. Pretty normal width by all accounts. The ball of the foot at the big toe hangs over the sole on one side and my pinky toe hangs off on the other… that’s with purchasing a size larger.

There is not enough room in the toe box in any direction, including upward space so that the toes, especially the big toe, are not smashed down. Fortunately, the material is light and stretchy, so this smashing pressure is not uncomfortable… just irritating.

Second, why is there a tongue that is disconnected from the body of the shoe? The material is only a little more substantial than a sock… that’s part of the selling point. Yet, none of my socks have a tongue, and certainly none have one that can roll up, ball up, or slide down to the side.

I get that you want a shoe aesthetic, but that could also have been accomplished by attaching the tongue to the shoe at a couple of points. It’s not as though you have to loosen the laces and lift the tongue to get your foot in the shoe.

It’s stretchy fabric. That’s the whole point. Even Chuck Taylor All Stars started connecting the tongue to the shoe, and those are more shoe than sock. Finally, they’re not a breathable as I was lead to believe.

I don’t have as good a proposal to fix this, but I was riding my bike in them the other day, and could literally not feel any air blowing through the fabric over my feet at all. No cool air was getting in, which makes me think no sweat or warm air are getting out.

Give us more room in the toe area, make the sole wider to provide comfort and protection for the whole foot, and make the tongue more of an aesthetic element than a [poorly] functional part of the shoe, and these shoes are at least a 4, maybe a 5.

Fix the breathability, and the shoe will be awesome. In conclusion, I am wearing them and I will continue to do so (albeit a size larger than I normally wear), but there are some seemingly pretty easy improvements that would make them much better.

I am usually a size 8, but my feet are narrow so I got the size 7 which fits well with no socks! The toes are a little tight but will stretch over time (an employee told me the 7 has the same size sole as the 8, it just has tighter fabric).

One of my favorite things about these shoes are they are very quiet when walking. They don’t clunk the floor and are very flexible and light. Flexibility is always a plus. I am autistic and have sensory issues, so being able to wear these without socks and still be comfortable is great.

I love that they can be machine washed, and they are very comfortable on the heels (though I am only 120 lbs so it may not have enough cushion for someone heavier). They look really nice, I like how they are smaller than my normal shoes which makes them look sleek.

I would not recommend these for someone with high arches, since they don’t have much support in that way unless you want to add a special insole. You can leave these tied and slip them on and off but the insoles may slip out with your foot.

Overall they are nice, I do wish the tag was attached to the shoe though. I have a pair of digital knit converse that don’t have an actual tag and they are so much easier to slip on and comfier.

I have been looking for a set of shoes that will allow me to reduce the number of pairs of shoes I need to pack when I travel. I ordered the Olive Green Zilkers and after my first trip, I love them! They pack down super flat and take up almost no space.

On my first trip, I wore them out on a boat, took them on a leisurely hike, and wore them around town for two weeks. I wouldn’t recommend them for a any super strenuous or technical hike, but for 90% of what you will do on any travel trip, they are awesome.

As far as appearance goes, they look nice enough that they will work with long pants and a button up shirt, but also look great in shorts and a t-shirt. Comfort-wise, they are super comfortable and lightweight.

Because of the light weight material on top, they are great for hot climates, but that also means that they might not be enough in cold conditions. Overall, I love them and will probably end up getting another pair or two at some point in different colors.

This shoe has to be one of my favorite shoes! They are very lightweight, comfortable, breathable, and I walk very naturally in them. My only complaint is that they run small. I am true and true a size 7 and my toe is right at the tip and I seriously considered returning them for half a size bigger but I am hoping they stretch just a little bit the more I wear them.

My feet are also fairly narrow and the shoe fits just right. Also, the bottom of the shoes pick up rocks because of the wide spacing, so I can imagine if you live where there are a lot of pebbles, it might get annoying picking rocks out of your shoes all the time.

I’ve worn them for about a week and overall a very good shoe and I think they are slightly better than my Salomons.

I usually buy the Cloudswift but I couldn’t resist this color! It’s so pretty for summer. I wear an 8. 5 in most running shoes but took a 9 in these – the sizing with On is pretty inconsistent (great shoes though).

I have flat feet that are wide in the front but narrow at the heel so it’s hard to find shoes that fit right but these are great!.

Purchased this for a trip this summer. They look great. They were a little snug at first and they feel different than my other sneakers. A few times walking in the neighborhood has broken them in. Now they are quite comfortable.

These fit super weird and don’t stay on your feet at all. My heels constantly slip out because the actual shoe doesn’t fit tight enough. Also the back of the shoe is made with a terry cloth that seems like it would get dirty really quickly.

So cute, but waaayyyy oversized. I wear 7.5-8, if they made shoes in 7.75, that’s probably the shoe size I’d wear. My feet are pretty wide. These shoes run so big. I had to return them and get a 6.5

I appreciate the time & effort involved in the production of these sneakers. Although the white on white weren’t my first choice. They were sent to me as a compensatory option due to such high demand on the batch of my original purchase.

Apparently each batch of shoes needs at least a 2 month window prior to delivery & I needed my pair prior to my Birthday trip to Tulum Mexico. The service representative gave me the option of a full refund or an alternate pair.

I would usually take the refund but the patience displayed in handling my precarious predicament assured me that my best interests would be taken to assure satisfaction. So I chose the shoes sent via priority shipping & I do not regret my purchase.

My wife had been to a conference and she was admiring the speakers shoes, because she knows like great shoes not just good shoes. So she contacted the speaker on break and inquired about the shoes and quickly sent me the web site.

I must have looked around for 3-4 days on this site finally decided on two pair that i wanted to try for now. I received updates during the whole process of just who and what was being done with my personally custom made shoes.

I love the updates so much that before my shoes were to arrive i ordered two more pair of a different kind of shoes and a pair of boots. I must say when the first two pair arrived they were perfect. Both were perfectly packaged and wrapped individually.

I got these for my husband. He was thrilled. Perfect fit, good support, very comfortable. The packaging was strong, delivery prompt. My husband wishes they came in many colors; he now has red, black and an older orange version.

Love the unique look. Comfortable,well made and has a classic tone to the shoe that naturally is eye appealing.

Not as comfortable as the converse allstar. Great material and design. They are very stylish but casual.

Peter Millar has invested in shoes which feel and look great. Each model I’ve tried has a different feel. For me, these Hyperlight Drifts are an occasional upscale casual shoe rather than a daily beater.

They are surefooted and slip on/off easily. I like the way the Navy accent on the heel looks with the Stone upper. I love that Peter Millar supplies shoe bags and extra laces with many of their shoes, including these Drifts.

The box is nice enough to store them in the closet. Has a small pic of the shoes on the end of the box so you can quickly find the pair you want. Another great feature of the Peter Millar shoes is that the sides of the white soles STAY white longer than other shoes I own.

I wear 10. 5 Wide to 11 in most shoes. I wear an 11 in the Apollo line. The 11 in the Hyperlight Drift is a snug initial fit with moderately thick cotton socks, but I think it’ll stretch a bit. It’s fine right now with a slimmer (or no) sock.

I have had both previous versions and in my opinion, these are the best yet. They’re a little less easy to put on than prior models, but they provides a more secure fit at the top of the lacing structure -It’s a true half size small in my opinion, which I would say the same as prior models.

I’m a 13 in nike, adidas, Asics, etc and the 13. 5 is ideal -The new bottoms just seem to have a more stable platform and it shows. You notice it on a cardio machine such as the elliptical -Arch support! I do not have great feet (a little flat + I tend to pronate) and after walking a long distance I don’t have any arch issues.

Seems to me it’s a universal arch which will serve the vast majority of consumers well.

Shoe fits true to size. The T-lock laces worked great and easy to slip on/off. First time wearing, I was traveling through multiple airports and had no rubbing or blisters (which can occur breaking in a new shoe).

Ordered the black, which has a little bit of blue/grey pattern across the shoe which looks great with both jeans or casual pants. They also look good with shorts and a polo to give a nicer and more stylish look than regular tennis shoes/sneakers.
