Comfortable shoes. Bought these for a family member, at first the size was too big, exchange was fast and easy. They wore the shoes and said these are nice. Then the tie on the shoe with the velcro snapped, I think because they like a tight fit but I called and sent pictures, they immediately sent out a replacement of the lace.

Note there is a hole at the top to run the lace thru and you can also tighten the shoe this way. The velcro was an added piece to make it snug and can be worn without the velcro unless you like that tighter fit.

During the few days he didn’t wear the shoe he went back to his other shoes, I could see the change in the way he walked with the old shoes, after a couple of days he went back to wearing the Ortho shoes.

Right away I can see the comfort he had by the way he walked and he said the Ortho shoes were much better on his knees, feet and back. I would recommend this shoe to everyone for the cushion, comfort and customer service.

Been hurting from Achilles’ tendonitis pain for the past couple of years. It limited my walking time and pace and also painful just doing normal activities. I tried changing sneakers and using heal cushioning to limited success.

I came across the OrthoFeet brand a few years ago when taking my mom to the podiatrist. I was not hurting at that time but the name stuck in my memory so when this flared up decided to give them a try and I am glad I did.

I now can walk the distance and pace like I use to without pain. Though it hasn’t gone away completely but is so much better. These will be my sneakers of choice in the future. One note though, I am a men’s size 12 but needed to order a size 13 which required me to use the supplied innersole inserts for the proper fit.

I ordered the product. It did what you said it would do. It is easy to put on and take off. It’s comfortably, and it’s easy on my feet when walking distances, which I had problem doing before. So I bought 2 pair this year, and probably another one at least.

I don’t usually write reviews, and I don’t know why because I always check them before buying. Anyway I thought I should share the LOVE of these shoes. I am on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day in the retail business.

I have been doing this for 40 years and I wish I had found Orthofeet a lot sooner. Bunions, hammer toe, surgery, bad knees, back pain, I have it all. Orthofeet has taken away all my pain and suffering.

The Sonoma shoe is comfortable and something they don’t mention slip resistant. I work in the freezer and on wet floors no problem. Make sure you get them wide enough, if they aren’t right, Orthofeet will make it right.

If you are on the fence buy them, you will never look back.

I bought these shows for a six week trip involving a lot of walking and time on my feet. I was a little put off by the appearance, as yes, the shoes look like orthopedic shoes; however, once beyond that I had only gratitude for these shoes.

My feet were so comfortable. Even on the days that I walked 20,000 steps traveling through streets and museums, I never had any areas of pain or irritation on my feet. Walking through a rainstorm with water running down the streets in Seville, Spain, my feet remained dry in these shoes.

The shoes are well constructed. After 6 weeks of much use, they still appear almost new after a cleaning and buffing.

I love the waterproof quality of these sneakers as well as the comfort in the cushioning roomy box toe. However, I have tripped three times wearing them. The soles are so thick they interfere with my proprioceptive awareness of the surfaces I am walking on.

In 4 years since getting my cataract surgery I have never tripped (cataracts interfere with depth perception) but I’ve tripped 3 times wearing these. I’ve not gotten in touch because I was quite sick and was recovering from an injury.

I have purchased four pair of shoes from Orthofeet, including this style, recently because the first pai I purchased was a wonderful surprise! I have flat feet and hammer toes from severe rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis.

I have had a terrible tim finding shoes, even sandals, that did not become almost unbearable very quickly. It has made going out very unpleasant. Because if that shopping for shoes in person is just not a viable option for me.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable with my toes having sufficient room and the upper fabric is so stretchy. Moreover, the first pair I ordered was too big and the second pair was too small. I returned the quickly according to their return instructions.

I ask fir an exchange and not a refund because I really loved the quality of the shoes. They not only paid the return postage but sent the new size which was the half-size between the two pair very quickly and without question.

I trust this company completely and I’m sure I will buy shoes from them in the future.

My poor fat 9WW problem ridden foot is thrilled!! After some tweaking with the assortment of enclosed inserts and arch support I got a custom fit for both the “normal” foot as well as the one that is chronically swollen from a DVT, has a bunion and a hammertoe.

I have spent a fortune over the years buying the same shoe in two different sizes and widths but still couldn’t find a comfort level that these shoes provided right out of the box. And they are sort of cute, too! They look like a regular athleisure shoe.

No one would think they were Orthopedic shoes. I love the adjustable strap which snugs up the normal foot while expanding to give the “monster” foot some breathing room. I am so thrilled that I ordered two more styles.

I would love to see a few more choices in a dressy shoe as well.

I have been struggling for 8 months with Achilles Tendonitis and for almost 2 months have been in a walking boot. When I would take off the boot at night the pain would come shooting back and sleep was non-existent.

I needed a new pair of walking shoes and had gone several places, tried on several pairs at each place but left each one empty handed. The neuropathy in my feet made trying on shoes so difficult because I truly couldn’t tell if they fit right or not.

I saw an ad for Ortho Feet, liked their return policy and decided to give them a try. I couldn’t believe it when I put these shoes on! I was fully expecting to have to return them but much to my delight they fit PERFECT.

I now put them on first thing every morning. even with my robe on. They feel just that good and give me so much support. I’ve ordered two more pairs, including slippers, and can’t wait for them to arrive.

For starters, I’m a large person so tying my sneakers has always been a challenge — until now. Once the tightness of laces has been adjusted to my satisfaction. I never have to tie the sneakers again.

Yay!!!! Also, I desperately need bunion surgery because I can’t find shoes or sneakers that have a large enough toe box and width to accommodate my bunion — again, until I found these! Problem solved.

These are literally the ONLY shoes that I can wear right now! My only criticism is that ALL shoe companies, this one included does not offer enough shoes for women in a 4E width. It’s offered in men’s shoes but rarely in women’s.

I sometimes try a men’s 8. 5 but it’s never quite right. In the meantime, very happy I have these. Wish they had offered the 4E in the fuscia.

I developed bunions from fallen arches and also lumbar strain from my fallen arches making my pelvis uneven and putting strain on my back. My DO measured me with these shoes on and it fixed my pelvic imbalance.

Arches supported, great with the extra plastic piece as i have high arches normally. Shoes is very cushioned almost springy, but sturdy. Does not rub on ankles or heels like other shoes. Definitely worth it.

Wish they had regular laces but i did not like color combos in the laced styles. I ran a little outside to test and they did well. Great for walking indoor or on a treadmill, also good as an everyday shoe.

I purchased the Blue stretch sneakers for my son. I bought him two pair so far and he loves them. Size and comfort are five star. I also bought sneakers and sandals for myself. The sneakers are very comfortable, but has not helped reduce the pain from neuropathy and Fibromyalgia.

I love the sandals, but under the buckle on one foot the strap cuts into the top of my foot. This makes it hard to walk in. Do you have something to put under the strap to help with the irritation like a piece of velcro that will match the black strap color? They should be listed under my account.

Love the comfort and pain free feeling with these shoes on my feet, back, knees and neck. The 1/8 and 1/16 inch insert options have greatly contributed to the pain free feeling. I was told years ago by a chiropractor that my left leg is 5mm shorter than my right leg.

The two inserts combined are 4. 97mm and probably is a reason why the pain has gone away (not to mention the overall quality of the Orthofeet shoe). BTW I also bought a grey lava stretch knit and Edgewater stretch knit black and also feel great to my feet, back, knees and neck.

I would highly recommend all three of these shoe types.

I have been playing active sports my entire life and I coach tennis so I am on my feet all day. Having had Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis in both feet as well as arthritis in both knees, I have learned to just get by each day cringing in pain.

Since getting my Ortho Feet shoes less then a month ago, I am pain free and can even run a bit. Changed my life. Also, I don’t look like I am wearing “old man’s” shoes. I have told many people about Ortho Feet and they have ordered and are experiencing the same results.

I have long suffered from Plantar Fasciitis and finding A pair of shoes to help relieve the torture of walking proved to be both expensive and frustrating. I tried several brands of shoes suggested to me by friends and doctors as well as internet searches.

Most PF footwear not only just didn’t work but wear ugly shoes. At the end of the day I spent hundreds of dollars to no satisfaction and was convinced there were just no shoes or insoles available that lived up to their claims of improving my PF curse.

As a last resort, I gambled of one more brand, Ortho Feet. To my amazement and pleasure, I had finally found a shoe that literally improved my life by allowing me to walk with a huge reduction in pain.

Although my condition has not totally healed I can say that it’s at least %80 better. I can now function with a mild discomfort that is manageable with stretching and exercise. Oh yeah, the Porto Canvas-Gray shoes look great too.

I was initially skeptical about buying a pair of shoes online, without trying them out first. But being that OrthoFeet lets you return the shoes if you don’t like them for any reason, I figured I would give them a try.

Boy, am I happy I did! These are amazing shoes! They give me full support and at the same time they are so comfortable, it almost feels like I am not wearing shoes at all! I could stand up or walk on them for hours, they are so lightweight.

My husband is a big guy and has big feet. He has always struggled with finding shoes that fit well and that don’t hurt his feet. He’s on his feet constantly, up-and-down ladders, and climbs in-and-out of his truck all day long, so he needs something that is lightweight yet comfortable, that helps support his ankles for his knees and back.

I ordered him these shoes to try, and he loved them so much, that he had me order him another pair! He loves these shoes, says that they are so comfortable, and feel better than any other shoes he’s ever had!.

I have finally adjusted to wearing them every day and I love the way they feel on my feet. for the first few days my back hurt a little, but at 68 I guess one can’t expect miracles. That has since ended and I am enjoying the extra support and hope it lasts at least 6 months.

After the first week or two, I am adjusting and enjoying these shoes. I am hoping that the support I feel will last for 6 months at least.

Until last month when I did a random google search for special shoes and found Healthy Feet, I had no idea that alternatives to $1300 custom shoes existed for me. I’m almost 74 with severe neuropathic club feet, and ineligible for Medicare assistance with shoes as my condition does not stem from diabetes as is inexplicably required.

The Apis 728E as well as the Apis 801 have proved godsends to me. The 3 conditions of extra depth, small length and wide width along with the special stretch fabric provide all the customization I seem to need at nowhere near the cost of fully custom shoes made from plaster molds of my feet.

It’s hard to believe that the existence of alternatives that Healthy Feet make available were not brought to my attention by the numerous podiatrists and other health professionals who have cared for me over the years.

Well, thankfully its not too late to enjoy walking comfortably and confidently with such a well made shoe. Thanks.

I have to leave feedback before they’ll let me get out of this survey so here it is. I bet they don’t even read these things, they just want you to type words and letters. I hope this enough because I have better things to do than fill out surveys like poke sticks in my eyes.

What’s the deal with everyone wanting you to take a survey or rate their service these days? You buy a pencil and they want you to take a ten minute survey. Do you need praise and validation? Treating your customers (and employees) right should be all the validation you need.

My father is a 12 year stroke patient and both feet are swollen and one is abnormal now. These work great. This is his third pair. Happy I picked the widest width this time. Fits much better than the one a size down which we were using.

Plus this time went with a half size longer which is more comfortable for him.

IšverstiShow in original languageAbout 30 years ago I bought a Stihl chainsaw to take care of the hardwoods on our heavily wooded property in Ohio. I quickly fell in love with this great machine. I confessed to my wife that I had to share my affection for her with another lover, my chain saw.

She was most forgiving and allowed me to continue that relationship with my chain saw. Four weeks ago, I read about your Sorrento – Brown shoes from Orthofeet. The write up and reviews caught my attention, so I ordered a pair with the extra wide toe box.

I have suffered from sore feet, had tarsal tunnel surgery on both feet, had numerous custom Orthodic inserts made, tried several other remedies, with limited relief. I was a bit jaded from failed solutions over the past 13 years.

I was somewhat skeptical about trying another gee whiz solution that would not work. But, then again, maybe it was a bit like giving chicken soup to a corpse, it can’t do any harm. The shoes arrived and I was impressed with the variety of devices to help the shoes meet my needs.

After a few experiments, I was able to get the right heel support and insert that was just right. I have worn them since with great relief. The wide toe box is so comfortable with no more pinched little toes (unlike other similar purported shoes that had failed in this department).

The shoes are the best thing I have had since my first taste of a Hostess Twinkie when I was seven years old (I know, it was a dumb thing to do). Knowing my chain saw was feeling a bit neglected with my newfound love, I decided to leave my new Sorrento’s out in the shed at night next to my Stihl chain saw so they could get to know each other better and help get past any jealousies.

So far so good. I think in due time I will be able to honestly say: “And they lived happily ever after!” Oh, BTW, my wife is happy with my shoes, but disappointed they did nothing to improve my dancing.

IšverstiShow in original languageMy podiatrist was ready to put me in an Arizona brace–some big lace up thing to help with my collapsed arch. I wasn’t ready to do that, and in looking for new casual shoes, I decided to try Orthofeet.

I was amazed and so pleased that the arch support included with the shoe has replaced the aircast brace I had been wearing. I doubt I’ll ever need that lace up brace. I can walk very well with just the Orthofeet shoes.

As an above the knee amputee, I only need the orthotics in one shoe, but yes, I still need a pair of them! Four stars because my big toe presses against the shoe, but the other features are so good that I don’t let that bother me.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have Morton’s neuroma and it’s difficult to find shoes that feel comfortable for more than an hour or so. I found these and decided to give them a try. A couple days after they arrived I went on a week long trip and since I was flying I only wanted to take one pair of shoes.

Normally that is a no-no, as it’s best to break in a new pair before prolonged use, but I decided to go ahead with these anyway. I did a lot more wearing and walking in that week than I normally do when I’m home, and I did not put my custom inserts in before I left.

While wearing them wasn’t fully pain free, given my condition, the shoes were very comfortable and felt like they were already broken in. The heel has a nice spring to it and just the whole sole of the shoe is well cushioned.

On top of all this, the shoe is very contemporarily styled unlike many other orthopedic shoes I’ve seen and tried. I’ll be ordering another pair in a different style soon. The only change I’ll make is I’ll order extra wide vs.

the wide size I got for this pair just to get a little extra room (I also have large bunions and the wide size is a snug, but not too tight, fit).

I was pretty explicit in my 1st review and my only real complaint was these being made for FAT feet. I just called customer service and the lady was very nice and is sending me extra spacers so these will work better for me and tighten up better.

That being said, my previous 4 star is now 5 star. When there’s a problem, the main thing is solving the problem. She was about doing just that and I’m a happy camper. With the problem solved, I will be looking for summer shoes here that I don’t have to tie as these will be too warm in the summer.

I would guess I’m now a lifetime customer with this company. THAT MEANS don’t sell out, stick around!.

I have been wearing the Velcro strap shoes since having a massive stroke in 1997. My problem is I also need to wear an AFO brace on my left foot, therefore, when I buy a pair of shoes, I need to buy TWO pair, Size 13W for my left foot, and Size 11W wide for my Right foot.

So, I end up tossing the right size 13 W away, and the left Size 11W. What I need is to find someone with the Opposite problem. I can no long afford to spend $250 on one pair of shoes, no matter HOW comfortable they are.

But THESE shoes are probably the best fitting and most comfortable shoes that I have found in the last twenty-five years. And definitely worth a five star Rating.

I really like these shoes, they are not your typical ordinary joe shmoe tennis shoes. I’ve always had to “break in” my tennis shoes (Nike, Reebok, Adidas, etc. ) taking weeks to get them to feel OK. The Alamo’s felt great right out of the box, and with a months worth of wear, I can say they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned.

While they are more money than my typical tennie runners, they seem well built and I love how well they fit and feel, so they’re worth every penny. Thanks Orthofeet for a great shoe!.

Bought these for the looks and name as a smart pair of trainers. Always wear my new trainers around the house to wear them in. They are a strange fit and would suite narrow feet I would say, no give in the all leather version causing pressure points on my feet when I’m just sat watching tv.

The soles are solid the only cushioning you get is from the slip in insole. Packaging and the height boost are good points for this shoe they also look smart. Bad points are they are a heavy clumbersome hard trainer.

Buy with caution.

Bought these for my sons 16th birthday. Safe to say he hasn’t taken them off. They look really nice. Worth the price tag, go with everything and the fit was true to size. They are quite heavy shoes but definite approval.

The detail of the packaging is something else ! From the quality of the box the silk shoe bag the shoe horn and the extra laces. They also come with a lovely tote bag with the flannels logo. It’s pure luxury.

They are very comfy and look the part.
