20 Best Sneakers For Concrete Floors (2023 Updated)

I bought these shoes specifically for the slip-resistant sole. The fact they have a protective toe cap and ESD features are not terribly important to me, but worthwhile features nonetheless. I have narrow feet with a high arch and these fit fine.

I am accustomed to using insoles to add arch support to work or sport shoes. Adding insoles to match my foot profile definitely made these shoes more comfortable. According to the documentation with the shoes, the ESD feature goes away without using the stock insole.

But again, not an important feature to me. I’ve been wearing these shoes for about a month and I’ve not detected any break-in period and they seem well-built and tougher than a NB running shoe. I drive a car hauler truck which requires walking around of the body of the truck.

The non-slip feature is noticeable and a welcome feature. I also walk around on lots of asphalt and concrete and these seem as comfortable as any sneaker-type shoe. Hope these comments are helpful to others.

I’ve had this shoe for over a year and wore them everyday. Here is my opinion. After being a loyal NB customer for years I took a chance on their work shoes and at first they were what you would expect.

Shoe is very comfortable for wearing for hours on concrete floors. However, after a year they simply did not last. Both of the shoes have roles in them after the “toe protect” logo area meets the main body of the shoe at the sole As time has gone on more holes have appeared again in both shoes.

Left shoe has hole on the inner part also and right has hole on top after the toe protection. Left sole is starting to separate too! Its not like these were heavily abused either as I work in the parts department of a car dealership and am on and off my feet all day.

For the price I expected better quality and them to last longer. Worst part is the soles show no/ minimal wear. Would not purchase again.

I bought this pair of shoes in Sept. 2019, along with the grey 412v1s with the Alloy Toe. They are great for walking, but I have found they particularly shine if you do a lot of standing, particularly if you are clumsy like me and drop things on your toes frequently.

Either pair would work very well in a restaurant and/or manufacturing setting. I wear at least one pair (black and grey) every day and almost 3 years later both pairs are still going strong. I have been much harder on this black pair compared to the grey pair, but I have zero complaints.

When I need to buy more shoes, these will definitely be on that list.

I bought these for Jazzercise as my several-years-old NB shoes were slipping dangerously on the hard floor. These do indeed have superior grip to the point where they sometimes squeak like the shoes of an NBA player.

I can now do wide plies, pushups and planks without having to wedge a foot against a wall. They provide excellent cushion which is critical when jumping on hard floors. (I do not wear these outside; I doubt they would last long if exposed to harsh outdoor conditions.

) Note: these are pull-on booties, not lace up shoes. I did not realize this when I bought them online. They have stretchy laces – more for show than for function – over the stretch mesh covering the entirety of the top of the foot.

This mesh comes all the way to the bend between the foot and the ankle so they take a little effort to pull on and are not step in. I was annoyed when I saw this but two weeks later I don’t even think about it.

One negative: they do not breathe. They are like wearing baggies and by the end of the class my feet are soaked in sweat. You may need thin anti-microbial merino wool no-show socks (I wear Darn Tough) to absorb moisture and to keep the shoes from smelling.

(Some people do not get sweaty feet and if you are one of those, the lack of breathability may not be a concern for you. ).

I instruct 5 classes a week at our local Y. I go through 4 or 5 pairs of fitness shoes a year. My classes consist of muscle work, low impact, step, balance, and high impact exercises. These shoes are the best! I wear a 5 1/2 wide.

I have trouble with my heels slipping out of my shoes, especially when doing lunges. My feet are also high on top, where the laces tie, after wearing shoes that don’t fit right, this area is painful after a few hours.

This shoe style hugs my heels, and the tops of my feet yet is flexible enough to not cause pain in the shoelace area. I did have trouble at first putting them on, but a shoehorn solved that problem. I am on my second pair.

Please keep this style available, and a few more colors would be nice.

i would really want to like this pair of shoes after doing 2 hours of workout but halfway in i started feeling its tongue was digging into my front ankles that they got abraded and i started feeling burning sensation at the bottom of my feet (which lasted for several hours) and knees started hurting.

for these reasons, i had to return it. i do extreme plyos and cardio workouts as part of my conditioning training. i do triathlons all year round, hence shoes is a big part of my training to not hurt my knees and hips nor put them in unrcessary stress during strength and conditioning training.

i have extremely flat feet and large bunions on bilateral big toes. I only wear NB (after trying out several brands- hoka, brooks, nike, asics, etc) as most of its shoes has arch, great cushion, well thought design and its the only brand that has cute colors in the wide width.

however, finding the right one can take a few tries as i like to try other models instead of buying the same one over and over again. i love the great design but my feet were not loving it.

Bought these for my 75 year old husband. Wasn’t looking for a steel-toe shoe but since he’s always working outside and in the garage it’s a nice feature. They are well made and comfortable and he loves the classic Reebok.

They have a slip-proof sole. The price point was excellent. He looks up to date and good in them!.

This is a great safety shoe with plenty of room for your toes. I have neuropathy in my feet and legs due to an auto accident in 2009. Well now whenever something is rubbing up against the top of my toes feels like sandpaper.

I bought a size up this time and even with my insoles in, I still have plenty of room so my toes don’t feel like they’re getting cheese grated anymore. Love them.

I have had plantar fasciitis for almost a full year and have found very few things that help. I originally purchased the Quantum in midnight blue because they were the most “normal” looking orthotic shoes I could find.

I usually wear casual sneakers like Vans, Puma Suede or Adidas Gazelles (all not great for PF as it turns out). I tried several inserts and some were better than others, but none really made the shoes I like to wear work.

As I started looking into specialized orthotic shoes so many of the shoes specialized for PF just looked. odd. I will say that these are the first shoes I’ve found that really do feel good to walk around in.

They cradle my heel in a way that is mostly pain free. They’re not a miracle cure though. I’m a teacher and have no choice but to spend most of the day on my feet, and although these shoes do make things significantly better, I still often feel pain by the end of the day.

That’s not the fault of the shoes. They really are the most comfortable shoes I’ve been able to find. I even purchased a pair of the Atom’s for when I want a more “running shoe” look, and they feel just as good.

I would recommend these for anyone with PF, but temper your expectations. I’m sure for some people these might help your PF go away completely – and to be fair I’ve only been wearing them for a few weeks – but for me they have not been a cure.

Still, they do feel better than anything I’ve worn and I’ve been looking around and desperately trying things for a while. They fit true to size for me, with a good amount of room in the toe box. I know the arch support is there, but several of the orthotic inserts I’ve tried were better in that specific part of the foot.

Very comfortable. Purchased a half-size larger and it fits comfortably with a thick sock. If I purchased my correct size it would have probably been uncomfortable. Has a soft inner cushion for support and stabilization of the ankle.

Great for squats and leg workouts, horrible for running. I made the mistake of not reading the scheduled CrossFit workout and ended up doing an 800m run in these. My ankle has been sore for the past week.

Otherwise, the shoe is comfy and well priced. Doesn’t look bad either for an Under Armor product.

I have been wearing Metcons. 4, 5, 6. I had some durability issues with my Metcon 6’s so I thought I would give them a try. I prefer these to the Metcon 6 for most workouts. The heel lock is solid and comfortable and the sole platform feels a lot like my Metcon 5’s.

The uppers are flexible, like the Metcon 4’s, even appear to have the same ruberized mesh. The laces are less likely to come undone. I am very hard on shoes, mostly the toes from doing burpees and other floor to standing movements on a rough rubber floor.

So far they are holding up. Like other similar shoes, they aren’t for running mid to long distances. I have others shoes for that anyway. But for indoor shuttle style sprints and jumping these are great.

These shoes have earned a their place in my rotation.

Good overall training shoe. Positives: – nice fit, elastic around ankle took a day or two to get used to but quite secure and comfy – good strong base, solid shoe for lifting and dynamic movements – works well for oly lifting and running.

No real slip or movement within the shoe. – nice small drop, great for lifting and transitioning to other movements Negatives: – narrow base at forefoot for me personally, limited ability to spread toes in lifts.

Wearing them for long periods it squished my foot a bit and was a little uncomfortable. All in all one of the better shoes, good balance and feel. Nice stable platform. Good shoe if you want to do lifts in and not change shoes to do some cardio or accessories in.

I bought the black pair to see if they would be have good support. I have plantar fasciitis. It was so painful to walk. I bought several pairs of shoes (other brands…. Hoka, Nike etc etc) so I would have good support & to minimize the pain.

These are the best pair out of the nine different pairs I bought. When I wear this shoe my feet don’t hurt. I can tell they make a big difference cuz my feet don’t hurt until I take them off. After wearing this shoe constantly for about 3 weeks I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods store & bought 2 more pairs.

Honestly I might buy more but I have to at least try my other pairs I bought. I bought 2 pair of Hoka’s. I heard they are good shoes. If you have trouble with your feet. I would recommend these shoes.

Pleasantly surprised with how they look in person. I expected the sole to be chunkier than it was. It actually is quite low, and not much higher than the original Converse platform. I haven’t purchased a pair of Converse in years so I was hesitant about sizing.

Needless to say I had to order these sneakers multiple times and actually ended up going with my true to size fit which is a US 9 womens. Many people ( YouTube ect ) recommend to go down half a size in Converse sneakers including this hike style.

However for me in this SPECIFIC style, that was NOT the case. I went down half a size and my toes became numb within about 20 minutes of walking around the house with them on, way too tight. True to size worked for me!.

Very, very comfortable straight out of the box! I love the bright yellow. I’m on my feet all day at work and these shoes super comfortable and cute too. I sprayed them with shoe protector (Van’s brand) because I didn’t know if they already had a chemical fabric guard(?) I am a 8 1/2 in most shoes, but a 9 in running/tennis- I ordered these in an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

Bought these a month back as my first converse in years after experiencing a drop in quality, and though I’ve only worn them a few times, they seem like they might last! Love the full leather as opposed to canvas.

They rub a little on my toes but are otherwise very comfy and look stunning with flares.

I like the shoes, I brought my pair in store. If i could go back I wouldve brought it online due to the fact the store sell you shoes that are on display and so many ppl feet has been in them and even though they are in pristine condition you can still defintely tell its been worn when you pay close attention to the detail of the shoe.

Overall I am still satisfied with my purchase but I would advise the store to not sell display shoes when ppl are paying this much for quality. They shoes fir me well, I usally have problems with most designer shoes due to how narrow some are and I have wide feet.

These shoes out the box compensates for wide feet individuals and they are comfortable. I would say though bc of the design trying to clean these yourself can be a headache and I would advise taking them to a shoe cleaner shop.

They fit kind of small but not to the point where it is uncomfortable try on a size up before you make a decision.

Bought these. On second wear the front of one trainer has gone an ugly brown colour. It was raining very slightly but no mud at all and nothing spilled. Tried to clean but the marks are underneath the netting on the front and just won’t change.

Look awful. It’s like the whole material on the front has turned brown. Clearly this can’t be tight. One brown and one white trainer. £700, worn twice. Going to take them to the shop but not hopeful.

I actually order a smaller size at first so I had to return it! I fell in love with the nude color! I also have one in white. when I saw the new colors I bought it right away since I new it will be sold out fast.

it looks good in everything. It’s an overprice sneakers but the quality is worth it. It is still just a fashion statement shoes. It’s super heavy so if you are not comfortable walking with extra 2lbs each you might not gonna be able to walk in longer period of time.

I am used to wearing chunky shoes but this is prolly the heaviest of all my chunkies but still I can get used to the weight of it. =).

These converses are great. They’re very comfortable. I got them size 6 1/2 but they run a little big. I didn’t return for a smaller size so I put a pair of insoles and gave me extra comfort. I read the reviews and received mixed reviews so I ended up getting my regular size.

Unfortunately, they were big and I hate returning anything. Otherwise. I highly recommend.

Great sneaker. I’m not big on tennis shoes and sneakers, I like boots/booties, stilettos/pumps, etc. These sneakers are comfortable, fits within my wardrobe well. Ordered a size 12 and they fit just fine.

I especially like the thick sole. Need more!.

Your classic platform high-tops are extremely comfortable. But when I’ve tried these on, OMG! The cushion within the interior soles are perfect! My feet are extremely sensitive and this model, especially the light color version, is Perfect!.

Very happy I spotted these and purchased them . I am a man’s size 7 and they are ok for me, however they are unisex so if you have a wide foot consider 7.5 for a bloke

I bought this recently and I absolutely love it. It’s comfortable and fits like a gem. Very true to size.

I have worn them two times are they are still comfortable. I love the color blue and the stalled.

During these dreadful winter months, I’ll do just about anything to bring a bit of brightness into my life. So when I saw these beauties, I had to snatch them up quickly! The vibrant “sunshiny” yellow of these Citysole Runners captured my soul at once! Others have said that these shoes run large, but I think they’re spot on with sizing.

I was so excited I could get the last pair in my size, a 7 1/2. They fit me perfectly! Someone else mentioned that they slip off your heel, but I haven’t had that issue either. I’m a runner, but I don’t believe these were designed to run in.

But walking? I walked 8 miles in them and I can definitely say I have very happy feet! Keep up the excellent work, Coach-I have never gone wrong with anything purchased from you ♥️♥️.

These came way faster than expected! The shoes arrived in nice packaging including a paper Coach bag and shoe box. There is clear attention to the stitching and canvas work. The shoelaces carry a white dotted pattern which brings a slight pop.

Overall; great, comfortable shoes that offer a fashionable addition to most any outfit. 🙂 Thanks.

Bought these for my son as a birthday present along with a back pack and wallet. He didn’t realize how Coach has become a phenom amongst the younger generation and got so many compliments when he went to work.

He says the shoes are so comfortable that he wants a few other pairs in different colors. I knew they would be because I wear a lot of cute Coach shoes and the comfort is impeccable.
