I bought this enclosure, because it shows on the product photo a silver lock that gets screwed into place. The actual product comes with a black piece of metal (not lock) that is just stuck on my double sided tape.

I just don’t feel like this is very secure. I’m still using it because I needed an enclosure for my fire skink immediately and everything else is GREAT. Easy to put together and sturdy for the most part.

I’m just upset that Chewy doesn’t put a more accurate photo on the website to show the new lock style. Otherwise still good enclosure and a lot of space.

I had reservations immediately after I ordered this, and even attempted to cancel the order. I’m glad that I wasn’t successful! My husband put it together in less than 15 minutes, I cleaned it and our juvenile Diamond Jungle Jag CP was in it and exploring within the hour.

He will live in it until his custom semi arboreal set up finally arrives (ridiculous lead time) and then my corn snake(s) will live in it. If you are looking for an affordable and attractive habitat, you will want to check out the New Age Ecoflex Mojave! I literally think it’s more attractive than the fancy and expensive stack-able cage my BP lives in!.

My son wanted to purchase this snake with his birthday money. We looked all over the Internet to find the best price, and we were so pleased when we saw it available at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Ordering was easy, and we were able to track the order the whole time which helped with my impatient son! The package came timely and my son just loves his new snake!.

My grandboys loved it! I bought this boa constrictor to present my grandboys with a zoo membership! They love the zoo, but they were as excited about the snake, as they were the zoo!!

Great dog toy! Good for hiding food and keeping your dog calmly busy or for playing with as a chew toy. Many other food toys arent as fun for dogs to sit and chew or dont quite fit in their mouths but this does.

My dogs – Border Collies loved it so much and fought over it – I had to order a 2nd one. They need challenges and this snake allows me to insert treats so they have to figure out how to get them out.

This is the longest lasting toy my dog, a patterdsale cross, has ever had. He destroys Kong toys quicker -so that demonstrates its quality! The treats stay in place and dont fall out quickly which is an added bonus.

I bought this snake last year when it was on clearance at the local store. I wish I had bought all they had! It does scare a few birds away from the blueberry plants if we keep moving it around the garden.

However it is much more effective at scaring unwanted callers away from the house! We had it near the sidewalk at one point and noticed the door-to-door salesmen looked at our house and yard and moved on to the next house!! Whenever new hires are being trained by the veteran mail carriers, they can’t wait to get to our house to see the rookie’s reaction! To me, the snake doesn’t look real but this snake fools a lot of people.

This fake snake IS NOT A FAKE SNAKE. It is a friend, it is an advisor. It is, in a nutshell, worth a shrine upon which to lay thy self down and gnash your teeth while rubbing ash into your hair. This peice of rubber-lovin’ will change your yard.

Prevent duck poop, fend off rabbits with low IQ’s and possibly do the gardening and landscape design while you are on vacation in Gatlinburg with your crummy family. Not sure about value for the dollar; however, The snake when inflated looks real and not sure yet but believe it’s protecting my tomato plants. Only “phony” thing is the tongue.

I am beginning to purchase items for the 2018 Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes. I remember these jointed snakes from my youth (over 70 years ago) and how I had enjoyed playing with them. I ordered these and while they are not as good as the wooden ones we had as a child, they are similar.

I am sure the child who receives one in their shoe box will have lots of hours playing with their snake. I only checked one of the snakes out and pray that there are none broken when I begin to fill the shoe boxes next fall.

I have been a shark customer for a very long time. I have the power lift-away from years ago and the things runs like a champ. However, I saw this one and thought WOW no more cutting the dog hair from the wheel and an XL cup will save me so.

much. time! I would say overall it’s definitely a good vacuum BUT I miss features from my other one that make me sad when I pull this one out of the closet. I do still have the other so I can use both.

Pros: Lightweight- for a large vacuum, this is very easy to lift XL Cup- definitely helps when you have 2 very large furry dogs Long Hose-ish- long but doesn’t reach like it states Super Sucker- I did think the suction was very good on getting up massive amounts of dog hair (Border Collie/Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix) Cons: No Lift-Away- Doesn’t seem like that big of a deal until you are going up and down the stairs or reaching into vaulted ceilings, the canister doesn’t fall over No Light- again not a HUGE deal but seeing dust bunnies run from you was easier with a light Hose- The hose states it’ll reach 12′ making stairs easy but let me tell you, it does not even come close.

Like mentioned above, once you get hose fully extended you need something to weigh it down so it doesn’t fall over from over extension Accessories- My liftaway had a ton of accessories for options i.

e. stair brushroll, and a few others but let’s stick with that one. For a machine that claims it’s turbo power for pets to not provide a stair brushroll seems silly, I have tried to rig my old one to fit my new machine and it works just ok, I end up using my old vacuum to do the stairs ugh.

Self Cleaning Brushroll- seems ok for now but still have hair wrapped around it that i’m sure I’ll have to cut off. Overall: I like the vacuum, esthetically it’s really good looking (because you know that’s important) It seems to do a good job as needed, I wish it was a clone of my liftaway with “newer” features but it’s not.

If you plan on never, ever using the attachments then maybe this vacuum will work for you as an upright. However, if you intend to actually use the attachments for cleaning, then stop, turn and run away from this vacuum.

First of all, the following product description is a flat-out lie: “An extendable hose for up to 12 feet of total reach gives you access to hard-to-clean areas above the floor like stairs, furniture, and more.

” In reality, you can reach maybe 7 feet (max) feet before the vacuum tips and falls over. Specifically, the hose is flexible but it does NOT stretch – not even a millimeter. The hose’s lack of elasticity, paired with how top-heavy the vacuum is, means the unit is always falling over when using the attachments.

To realistically reach more than 6 to 7 feet you need someone to hold the vacuum so it doesn’t tip over, which is totally asinine. The vacuum does not come with a dusting brush. C’mon man, it is the attachment I use the most.

I had to purchase the dusting brush separately from Shark and paying shipping costs. It seems Shark intentionally made the hose an odd size, because I tried the dusting brush from my shop vac and a brush from old vacuum but neither fit the Shark’s hose.

Vacuum does not have an auto-retractable cord. I knew this going in, but didn’t realize how much I would miss the feature until it was gone. Vacuum does not have a light/ head lamp. I also knew this going in but, again, didn’t realize how much I would miss the feature.

My final thought is that the vacuum works fine as an upright. However, for cleaning with attachments it is nearly unusable. Knowing what I know now, I would not have purchased this vacuum, nor do I recommend it.

bought this for emergencies but when i opened it up i kept thinking “where are they suctions cups to draw out the venom”? you have to use the yellow plastic container parts. they may work fine, i don’t know, but i did a test on my arm, while being calm i applied a suction cup and it seemed ok to use but I WAS IN CALM STATE HAVING NO EMERGENCY! if you were by yourself and got bit by a poisonous snake and this was all that you had to use i’m not so sure you could get it to work well for you esp if only being able to use one hand and are in a panic state!.

I have used this brand of snake bit kit in the past, and for other reason besides as a snake bit kit. Last a long time, very plyable. One warning ⚠️ do not allow the suction cups to come in contact with any petroleum products ie.

vasoline as this may cause melting and distortion.

Great hard to find kit to take along camp. More uses than only snake bites too. Everyone should keep one of these kits in there med pac!

I try to stay clear of catnip and I bought this thinking we were in the clear. I was wrong. He was playing with it for a while and tried tearing the tag off. I went to go cut it off and says right on the tag “Fill: All new materials: polyester fiber, catnip, polyester film”.

I’m rating it 1 star because of the lack of transparency online but it’s my fault for maybe not reading the tag. Learned my lesson. If you don’t mind catnip – I’d say it’s a good toy. I’ll have to find another snake toy else where – he played with my cat tail (cat costume from halloween) and it’s basically destroyed now lol.

Trying to find an alternative.

Imagine my surprise and delight to realize as my 3-year-old cats rolled and pounced the cute shakey-shakey snake toy that it was also a toy filled with catnip!!! And then – Oh wait, no it’s not! They just like it THAT MUCH.

The different textures and sounds make it very lively play that your kittens and even your older cats like mine will be thrilled about. And they will sleep well that night. Ha!.

My two 12 week old kittens absolutely love it they don’t leave it alone lol and my 4yo cat enjoys playing with it when the kittens are dragging it through the house! Great toy would recommend to anyone with a kitty, our dog also likes to pick it up an play with the kitties too! Great for all of our fur babies!.

My son enjoys learning about reptiles. Snakes are his favorite reptile. This was the perfect choice to add to his collection. Wonderful learning toy for him. Very realistic texture and appearance.

Great quality and realistic features. I would give another star if the material was more flexible to allow the snake to be played with/posed more easily. It is quite rigid and only works in “coil” position, but looks tough and will hold up.

Something small and simple my son found at the store . Seems they have something for everyone. I went in for crafting supplies and he was able to find something to entertain himself.

I have a 6 year old daughter. When said daughter was 5, we rescued a trio of sick turkey poults. They were so rough that one didn’t even make it home, and the other passed that night. The sole surviving turkey was my 6 year old’s, who she had promptly named Busy Bee.

Busy Bee grew fast. He grew as tall as my daughter, and the were inseparable– she’d squat in the backyard, arm over his back like a human friend, and just jabber away to him. While we have chickens, the neighbors were not excited about Busy Bee singing the song of his particular people.

So we found a farm sanctuary, and we get occasional updates about him, happily living his life there. But my 6 year old, she has been devastated. So when she saw this weird turkey toy, her eyes welled up, and she informed me that she would like it.

Couldn’t say no obviously, so we brought it home. This dang turkey goes in the bath, to bed, in her backpack, EVERYWHERE, and a month in it’s still holding up. I would never have imagined myself being grateful to a toy company for making a flipping turkey, but here we are.

Parenthood is wild. But this turkey is legit. Super realistic, doesn’t make the neighbors mad, and comforts an odd 6 year old.

The sculpt is sleek, even statuesque, the figure boasts a look that so resembles a modern raptor one expects to see a beak. Odd to not see the sinewy muscled limbs from other representations but it is a much welcomed change of form, and gone are the dangling arms ubiquitously present amongst all the figures of dromaeosauridae.

The details are subdued, with the tuberculate scales limited to the feet and face, and a first for any “raptor” is the presence of lips in keeping with the latest scientific research. The sculpted feathers are well done, especially on the primary-secondary wing feathers and the tail.

I do like the taloned fingers on the wings just visible under the wings. The pose can also be described as statuesque, evoking the virtues we bestow upon birds of prey. Power, speed, grace, even nobility.

The figure is frozen in step, head turned left, muzzle raised upward which I interpreted as testing the air for scent. The wings tucked tightly against the body. The tail is sculpted down providing support making the figure a classic tripod yet, it works in tandem as a whole.

Think of an actress’s long flowing gown on a red carpet event. Stately, and grateful. The colours again draws inspiration from modern raptors resembling a Hawk, chocolate and cinnamon browns with white markings.

Yellow for the face and feet and a crimson eye completes the pallet. Again, drawn from modern nature, spectacularly subdued. This figure boasts a look consistent with scientific research, and modern aesthetics.

Deinonychus is a prime figure for the dinosaur renaissance, beautifully sculpted, expertly painted, and highly collectible.

Safari Ltd adds Uintatherium to their prehistoric lineup for 2018. This early ungulate that lived during the Eocene was discovered in 1871 by O. C. Marsh in the Uinta Mountains in what is now Utah and may have been the largest mammal in the Americas during that time.

Although somewhat resembling a rhinoceros, Uintatherium anseps was not related to any rhino, being from the extinct order Dinocerata that flourished from the late Paleocene until the Miocene. The sculpt resembles classic paleoart.

The figure is represented without a fur covering opting for a wrinkled hide, from deep lines along the flanks to delicate ones on the face they crisscross the entire figure up to the tail which ends in a tuft of hair.

The details on the head include the distinctive horns, mandible flanges, and long recurved canine tusks. The pose is quite neutral, head high turned slightly to the right, mouth closed, with the left fore paw raised just ever so.

Not dramatic but natural, organic just as nature should be. The colours are consistent with modern large herbivores, pale grey with a light taupe markings. Slate grey hooves, and black for the tail tuft round out the limited hues.

Again, plausible for large grazers that persist to this day. Previous figures have been made in the 60’s and 70’s by Starlux and Ja-Ru but, forty years or so have passed since Uintatherium was released as a figure despite it being an iconic creature from the early Cenozoic and included in so many murals and classic paintings there are woefully few representations available to the collector.

Thankfully now, Uintatherium has been released by GeoWorld, Playvisions, CollectA, and now Safari Ltd. which is recommended for collectors and enthusiasts of prehistoric fauna.

Very unrealistic. I’d bought it hoping to prank a few kids, and while it’s movement is quite enough to startle, it is NOISY. Noisy as in “Can hear it from across the house” noisy. There is nothing quiet about the motor.

It’s not blowdryer noisy but if you’re in the same room with it, there’s no mistaking it for anything but a motorized toy just from the whining of the gears and motor. The color is also too bright. That being said? If you aren’t looking to get it as a joke item, my six year old LOVES it.

Definitely good toy item, terrible prank item. She’s taken it out in the yard and it’ll get around just fine on dirt, sand, mude, and somewhat on grass. Same in the house; it’ll go just fine on carpet and on hardwood.

Not super-fast, but it’s not a slow dawdling toy, either. I would recommend it as an annoying toy to get nieces and nephews if you want to do the “evil aunt” or “evil uncle” bit with the well-loved super-annoying noisy toys! There’s no way it’s remotely realistic.

But, if you only want it for the toy aspect? Not a bad buy at all! And so far, my kid hasn’t managed to break it and she’s been having all sorts of fun with it.

This thing just goes and goes. It has a switch at the head that temporarily stops when the head is pushed up and a clutch so the motor doesnt burn out if the legs stop. Works on short grass and carpet too.

A lot more room for my two small hermit crabs. Fits a small coconut hut, food dish, water and salt water dish. And a small branch for climbing. Gives a good amount of depth for bedding. I bought a hermit crab habitat kit from petco, and that was a joke.

It left very little room for them to move around. This pen is MUCH better! Love it and i know they enjoy it as well.

Having an African Clawed Frog who requires more than just a fish tank this is perfect. He is able to swim around without bumping against anything and potentially hurting himself. Also he is clearly extremely happy.

Due to my complete satisfaction with his product I bought a second one though it was for a hermit crab this time.

This is a nice, inexpensive little box not just for reptiles, but for other things as well. I search daily for monarch caterpillar eggs and this is a great container to use until I get home. It could be improved in two ways: 1) a carrying handle would be SO nice and, 2) the top is difficult to take on and off, and when you’re out in the field, holding a magnifying glass and maybe scissors, as well as a handful of monarch caterpillar eggs, it would be nice to have a snap, or a hinge, or something to make it easier to open and close.

I love Zoo Med’s Aspen Snake Bedding! My four corn snakes seem to love it as well. They enjoy burrowing and hiding in it. I love that people are surprised that I have reptiles and they don’t notice a smell.

Clean up is so easy with this snake aspen. I recently had three 24qt bags and still bought three more, of the same size, while they are on sale. I now have a good back up supply for my two 40g, one 20g and the 10g enclosures.

I have tried other brands in the past but this last year found this and Chewy’s deals and am happy to benefit, as well as my snakes 🙂 For those wondering about the amount to use for your enclosure. It is up to you and your individual snakes.

I personally like to provide at least two inches thick layers of substrate. I also provide two water dishes per enclosure, several hides and a lot of fake greens, but their very favorite seems to be the hammocks and bridges.

Although a ball python should have reasonably high humidity about 60% consistently, this product doesnt allow for it to really be wet without issues its not made for humid settings. With that said ive found away ar in und this as my ball python was used to this and will go off feed on anything else which ive tried it all.

Anyway providing either a humid hide or doing what i do will suffice. I use aspen on his hot side (since putting the moist substrate on his hot side would dry out to quick anyway this method works great).

I put forest floor on his cool side, which holds a good humidity throughout his enclosure about 55% which is good but i think hed rather higher as i occasionally get stuck sheds. I just soak him now a few times during his shed which has been working well for him.

I never had an issue with mold. I also dont leave it in there for too long about a month n obv spot clean in between full cleanouts. This has kept my snake happy. My other snake n is very happy on just coco husk which is way easier to keep moist n doesnt seem to mold or smell mildewy is any way in between clean outs usually i get a solid 6 weeks before i feel the need to clean out n can prob go longer, but like a clean environment for my animal.

He sheds perfectly each time. If ur ball python is good on forest floor or coco husk or u have a new animal put him on one of those 2 n u will be gtg, they r the prefered substrate imo. The picture is a display of his tub with the 2 diff substrates.

My ball python absolutely loved this. He is just about fully grown. I ordered a medium, not knowing the specifications of the product and unfortunately it was a tad too small for him to get back out on his own.

I just ordered the large, and I believe it’ll be just right. If you have a ball python, get the large. They’ll love it.

Very cool product. Meant for small hatchlings and can be used as a climbing rock as your reptile grows. Great investment for a great price. Recommend

Had one of these for our elderly leopard gecko and he LOVED it! The only downside was that he was always in it and super lazy once he got it, we also had a problem of it falling away from the glass when we took the outside off were afraid it would pinch his tiny toes but we were able to fix it but lost the outside cover while moving, going to have to buy another for our little buddy!.

This snake wand toy is awesome! It’s fun, well-made and a great price. Best of all my cat enjoyed it right out of the Chewy box. Vivian stalked, pounced, bit and bunny kicked it until she was ready for a nap.

We received a dark brown and tan one, yah! Love that it’s all plush cloth so that it’s safer for my chewer to naw on. Will definitely order more in the future.

This is very durable, I have a cat that’s 18 months of age and she is mostly a house cat, so sometimes we make home toys which she is always more interested in when she sees it, but that takes time and research.

I got a kong teddy bear she played with it for a few days with dialated pupils and then I haven’t seen her playing with it but I keep finding it around the house because she carries it around with her, and I have purchased many danglers on feathers, stretchy type string, with bells and squeaky noises.

Bell and squeaky she likes. The fact that when I pull away the danglers it would bounce from the type of string and she loves chasing it and she would lick the feathers for hours which encourages grooming, however she would easily break the string with her teeth, so I would try tying the string back together until she didn’t want it or the string was mostly gone, all the feathers where pulled off the danglers.

So most of the previous danglers broke the first time or after a few weeks. After going through more than 5 different types of danglers from fixed on the table, attached on a scratching post I got this one by Kong.

It’s made of soft material, it has a rattle noise when I shake it fast and my cat likes chasing it around the room, I think this danglers will last longer than the others, when swept across the floor it doesn’t seem to pick up everything on the floor so it won’t get dirty quickly and I believe it has a semi-real affect of how a snake would move so for a young cat that is fun.

She gets some exercise, so do my arms.

My younger cat is scared of this toy, but my senior cat LOVES it!! He will wrestle it until he pulls it out of my hand, then proudly drag it to his dish and drop it in. It’s VERY durable – for a cat who loves skinning his toys, this teaser has lasted several years now (though he did manage to chew off the feathers when I wasn’t looking.

the lack of feathers hasn’t made it any less interesting to him, though). The thickness of the toy also means I’m not too worried about him getting wrapped up or swallowing it. This is one “ribbon” toy I’m not afraid to leave unattended on the floor.

The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is – as I said before – my younger cat is scared of this toy. He hears the rattle and runs. To be fair, he’s not a hunter by any means and this might be a little too threatening for him.

I have seen him get chased by and hide from a butterfly, after all. Still, it’s not a one-toy-fits-all option and that is always a concern when buying new toys. I would still recommend it to people, though!!.

Absolutely fantastic substrate! I didn’t think it’d do many vivs but it’s comfortably filled 6 with enough substrate for the snakes to be nice and happy. It’s completely dust free which is fantastic since the dust bothers my nose, and the snakes love burrowing in it.

Definitely buying this again, very happy.

My corn snake does quite well with this ! No heating pad needed. The day nite lights are perfect .

The best value way to ruin your diet and teeth. Delicious yummy nice mouth feel snakes. Excellent size. I can’t stop eating.

I love keeping a bag in the pantry for when the grandkids come over. There is something in the bag for each of their tastes.

I really like these tanks, but not quite loving them. They are very nice in size and visual appeal. Easy to put together, but can be just as easily messed up. I bought two tanks, one went together with no problem.

The second one, the top was not wanting to stay put. It kept constantly popping up from two corners. No matter how hard we pushed it down, it always kept popping back up in both corners. The substrate guard does not like to stay in place -my male ball python likes to crawl across it at night, and always knocks it over, so I have to pop it back up again every morning- but for bearded dragons or smaller type snakes, it wouldn’t be much of a hassle.

Both of the glue bottles for the door guards, where completely cemented over and unusable. The door locks are really neat, but I would recommend finding something different if you have a smaller snake like a corn.

The lock wire is very thin, easily broken, and it will let the doors be cracked open on either side that is big enough for a small snake -like a corn- or gecko to squeeze through.
