Reviews From Real Customers
Super black sling. Also arrived very expeditiously
I own several bow slings and this one is the best of them all by far. The cam covers are well executed, hold very securely to the cams and will not slip off. The material on the cam covers is comprised of several layers, also.
The included fletching and sight covers are well thought out as well. One can remove them from their internal pockets to use, and unhook the teather if they want to, which I did on the scope cover but left the fletching cover attached by its long cord.
I use a Garmin Xero bow sight on my Carbon Defiant hunting bow, so I used the fletching cover over the sight and the scope cover to cover my 5-arrow Tightspot quiver hood. All in all this is a really nice system, and I will be getting another for my CD34 back up bow.
That one has a conventional sight on it, and I am not sure if I will use the covers the same way on it, or as they are intended. It is nice to have a choice and I highly recommend this bow sling. Otherwise I would certainly not be buying a second one.
The Sitka Bow Sling fits my BowTech RPM 360 perfectly. & the included camo Sight Cover fits & covers my Garmin Xero to a T, & is always attached to the Bow Sling (it’s great not having to “find” the Garmin sight cover for the Xero when packing-up).
I don’t use the camo Fletching Cover for my arrows (5 arrow Tight Spot quiver), but I do find that it’s a handy place to keep my primary thumb release close to the bow for storage. Nice work as usual Sitka; too bad it doesn’t work for “all” bows, but apparently for those it does fit, the owners are very pleased with the Bow Sling – I know I am.
I do love Sitka gear, but this product is a miss. Nice try, there is a need for a quality bow sling, in this pattern especially, but if you love your bow be real careful here. I bought a new $2k Mathews Triax rig and have had it fall out of the sling twice getting into the tree and several times just preparing to walk out in the woods.
If you’re raising it up in the tree by rope, make sure the rope is tied to the actual bow, not the strap (I did; this is not how it fell out). If you do not take extreme care in cinching down the cam covers it WILL fall out eventually.
And if you DO cinch down the cam covers extra tight it can be a PITA trying to loosen up and stash the sling in the dark. Nice try, Sitka, A for effort, but you missed the mark here and for $89 that’s a shame.

I bought this for this year’s archery season as I am hunting a new property with a longer walk to my stand/blind. This sling is a game changer. It worked very well. The padding was sufficient and I loved how it sat on my shoulder, with little to no slippage.
Having the ability to adjust the length of the sling was also a bonus. I was able to make it longer or shorter based on the other items I was carrying so the items were not banging off one another. I would highly recommend this sling for anyone looking to sling your crossbow over the shoulder.
Oh my. First one came with broken screw mechanism. Returned and ordered a second time. Second one came with the same screw mechanism broken. Love my TenPoint crossbow, but this TenPoint sling is a Dud.
Returned. I’m getting tired of running to the FedEx drop-off box.
The Badlands UL Bow Sling is secure, protective, and extremely easy to use. Just strap in your bow and youre ready for hands-free hiking. The sling features an adjustable shoulder strap, padded cam protectors, and a weather resistant finish.
I love this thing its way better then putting my bow on my backpack. Love that the carrying case can be used on your sight it works perfectly on my fast eddie! Only small negative is it would be sooo much better if they had added just a single pocket to the side.
So all this is missing is a pocket maybe for us guys that shoot with a handheld or anything really. Other then that this thing is gold!.
I like the functionality and looks of it. In the field it works really well even with my 28” ATA bow. Feels like it’s secured pretty well. I didn’t realize it till I started using it but I would have loved to seen it come with a cover for the sites.
Other than that I really like it and recommend it.
Protects your cams, cables and strings so your bow will stay in top shape. The Neoprene Bow Sling is a must when the terrain gets rough. Your hands are free to climb hills or scan the terrain with your binoculars.
Fits all bows 28″-38″ axle to axle and all parallel limb bows. Wide shoulder strap reduces slipping.
I love this product. Keeps your hands free carrying other things while keeping your bow safe. Excellent construction and fits the bow perfectly. I have a 33 inch axel to axel elite and it fits snuggly.
Recommend to anyone that doesnt want to carry their bow and everything else.
I still have two of the old cloth Primos slings but this on is much better. Better clips, material and a contoured sling. I really like the heavy elastic in the middle so it fits the bow snug. Im sure I will have it 20 years like my last one.
This archery accessory makes transporting your bow to your stand easier than ever. It features sturdy nylon straps in Realtree camo, and quick-release buckles allow for fast accessibility. Its cushioned, non-slip black neoprene shoulder pad evenly distributes the weight of the bow across your shoulder.
Slings are expensive. $10 dollars wont break the bank. This is versatile and can go on my bow or rifle without the sling swivels. I even can throw it on any of my old shotguns. Simple to use and adjust to fit whatever u put it on.
The Vertx Tourist Sling Pack is designed to carry all your essential gear and can switch from a traditional carry style bag to a chest rig at a moment’s notice. The main compartment of this tactical bag can be opened wide for rapid access to the CCW platform or tablet pouch.
It has a front compartment holds five admin slots, a loop panel and a zippered abrasion-resistant mesh pocket with a key lanyard. This Vertx bag is also compatible with ballistic panels, making it the perfect fighting bag.
Excellent bag!!! I was on the fence at first, but after getting it, it definitely does what I want and more. Generally I carry on my person but in some situations I cannot carry (at work). This kind of bag allows me to have my gun nearby (at least not in my car) and there are zero issues.
It is big enough but not too big. I put my gun while still in it’s holster in the rear pouch so the minute I leave work I can just go to the bathroom and put it on. This is a great bag without being overly bulky.
Perfect size for edc. Got this for my GF and she loves it. Can carry essentials plus has room left over for a packable jacket or hardshell. it wouldnt for me but she is 5 2 and 112lbs so clothing is very small.
The only improvement that I recommend is to add velcro or a triglide to the strap so that smaller frame people and take the slack out of the remaining nylon webbing and lock it down. I will be modifying her bag this way.
The Vertx Tourist sling bag was overall smaller than I expected, but the quality is superb. The strap is long on me, and I am 6’1″ 325 lbs. The admin pouch has plenty of pockets/pen holders. The main compartment is very roomy.
The hook and loop pouch holds my Glock 40 and an extended magazine. To anyone who is on the fence, I highly recommend purchasing this bag. You won’t regret it!.
Built for winch pulling, vehicle recovery and vertical lifting, this webbing sling is reinforced with two-ply polyester and double stitched for dependable durability. This web lifting sling features double flat loops at both ends to reduce injury common to slings with metal hooks.
With a vertical weight capacity of over 3 tons, this sling is ideal for use with most winch and hoist operations.
I actually have 3 of these now, use in conjunction with my winch and my Badland snatch block. Works great as a tree saver. Rated at 6400 lbs vertical load each. If I have a heavy load, I will put 2 together.
Easy to store and great price. Have never had one fail.
I had to pull harder on a stump than I thought I would – pulled at least 9,000 lbs. and I thought I would break the strap! When finished, there were no tell tale signs that I had ever even used the strap, other than it being a little dirty! Will definitely pull more than the rated weight! Great strap!.
Made by serious archers for serious archers, the Apache Bow Sling is the quickest, lightest, most versatile bow sling on the market and features “1-second release-to-shoot” capability. With two quick-disconnect fasteners, a hunter can simply release the top connector, aim, and shoot.
The Apache bow sling is quiet, lightweight, and fully adjustable. It features a “conforma-stretch” shoulder strap which aids in comfort and mobility, and will not slip off the shoulder while traversing rough terrain.
The lightweight, nylon webbing design eliminates bulk making the Apache bow sling easy to pack away. Realtree AP camo pattern.
We purchased three of these slings for a Wyoming Elk hunt. The hook and loop failed 3 times on one bow and once on another bow. We resorted to wrapping tape around the hook and loop. Very frustrating to be riding a horse through the mountains and to have the bow fall to the ground.
In one instance the horse stepped on the bow – breaking off the stabilizer.
It’s the design that changed slingshots forever. The Black Window sling shot introduced the foldaway wrist braced for easier portability and storage. This provides the best of both worlds: better leverage and a longer power stroke when the wrist brace is engaged, and a compact shape that won’t take up space when the wrist brace is folded away.
The Black Widow put Barnett on the map as the leader in slingshot technology, and it’s still true today.
I just bought this slingshot yesterday for some play with grandkids. All of my life, I’ve made my own like my Daddy taught me except for one like your brand. I find it curious that it states on the package to go to this website for aiming instructions/directions only to find that there are None.
Okay. I’m teaching my grandchildren how to shoot based on the way I was taught. No problem but if there is a better way to use the equipment I would like to know.
Some reviews say this unit is not constructed properly. If you truly know how to aim and shoot a slingshot for hunting purposes you would not say it is not constructed properly. I believe the design is solid and the unit is very accurate (Dependent on the operator) Overall a great unit with a very unique design.
My only question would be replacement bands are not offered in the related products web listing. You have to hunt around for them.
I have dozens of slingshots. I bought the barnett to try and first shot i realised if shot properly someone would hurt themselves. The fork is at a angle upward where the bands slide on. If shot while holding the slingshot in proper stance it will shoot at an angle that hits the fork and knuckle of hand holding it when the only way to shoot it safely is to hold it in an awkward position.
The pouch on the bands is to large and makes it harder to position ammo and not as accurate. I will say i do like the handle but that doesn’t do any good when the rest of slingshot isn’t worth getting hurt and waisting ammo.
The Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling improves on the popular original BlackRapid Sport sling by adding a swivel male QD connector for improved quick release attachment. (A female QD socket, sold separately from third-party brands, must be attached to your camera.
) The Sport X QD sling features a comfortable shoulder pad that holds tight to your shoulder. It’s designed for the left shoulder. Quickly raise your camera or AR rifle from a secure carrying position to your normal shooting position with this “built for speed” sling.
Much better fit than my old BlackRapid Curve strap due to the underarm stabilizer. Strap works well with newer Really Right Stuff QD compatible plates. My only complaint is that mine was bundled with the old/incompatible version of their Camera Safety Tether.
Why? After complaining, they are shipping me their QD compatible Camera Safety Tether II.
Barnett Pro Diablo Slingshot The three-piece stabilizer and adjustable sight on the Pro Diablo make this Barnett’s most advanced slingshot available. The three stabilizers on the new slingshot design combat vibrations for smooth, balanced shots.
With an ergonomic soft-touch grip and impressive good looks, the Pro Diablo slingshot has everything today’s most advanced slingshot enthusiasts need to take their shooting to the next level. Includes instructional shooting guide, practice ammo and magnum power bands.
Arrived very neatly packed, but no real instruction as to how to put it together, especially the sights and how they work. Although it is balanced when fully outfitted it is also very bulky, fine when popping targets, but not for hunting rats.
With the sights, weights and paraphernalia removed will still never fit in a bag or pocket. It is powerful, but you have to get a full draw to get that power, best ammo is 1/4″ steel ball bearings, small but lethal.
If you are looking for a catapult to carry around, this is most definitely not for you, but good for shooting at targets. No quarrel with the quality, it is superb, just not what I was looking for.
I purchased this mechanism with high expectations, but was sadly disappointed. I have to remember first and foremost that it’s just a fancy slingshot. With that a given, I bought the product and was’t impressed with it’s performance.
You might get about 50 yards if you angle the device. The sling needs to be redesigned to hold the. 38 shot more easily NOT A PIECE OF LEATHER. The handle can be honed out to store the shot with an easy release button for shot dispense.
The weights are just ridiculous. Then the weights, which have threads on the them, don’t even go into the handle right. They are not tapped for the screw ends, so you have to force them in. Just a bad product in my opinion.
I’ll keep the product to give to a kid with low expectations.

Give yourself a hand out in the field and sling your bow over your shoulder with the tough and flexible Allen Company 25010 35-Inch Padded Bowhunting Compound Bow Sling (bow not included). This bow shoulder sling is fully adjustable to fit any compound bow up to 35 inches in length.
This sling also has padded ends to protect your bow’s cams out in the field so you never have to worry about your bow being in working order. Carrying your bow into the field has never been easier thanks to this sling’s removable, padded shoulder strap and fixed carry handle.
This bowhunting shoulder sling is ideal for deer hunting out of a stand. Waterproof Realtree AP camo fabric blends into the foliage and the integrated D-ring quickly connects to your treestand.
Product has features better then it’s peers, hence the order. Everything about ordering and receiving the product in a timely manner was great. Despite the numbers advertised, this sling does not fit my 33 inch ATA bow that is 39” total end-to-end length including the cams.
Quality looking product and I dare say exactly what I was looking for, hence the added disappointment that the advertised specifications were not more clear as to the maximum length opening size of the sling and the maximum distance from inside the sling on one end to the opening on the other end.
Really, how hard is that? Forget using the frame of reference of the ATA dimension and just provide the maximum opening sizes, length and width, of the product. Then all of us geniuses that have bows with similar ATA dimensions but a variety of total bow heights and widths, can determine whether or not the product might fit and either happily order it accordingly or go away sad with product envy.
That being said, due to the apparent quality of the item, combined with laziness about returning items and not desiring to use spite as an occasion and motivator to return it, I intend to pass it along as a gift to one of my friends that has a bow that will fit in it.
Congrats on the sale. I would probably be more critical about the lack of the correct size measurements, but the practice seems to fit right in with that of its product peers in the industry.
I SENT ONE BACK BUT A DIFFERENT BRAND. BUT THIS PROTECTS YOUR BOW FROM OUTSIDE AND INSIDE. I cant believe how cheap other brands are. BUT THIS TITAN DOES THE JOB. I HONESTLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I WISH THEY HAD SOMETHING SIMILAR FOR MY TENPOINT VAPOR.
IT GOES ON EASILY. THEY HAVE TY DOWNS TO MAKE SURE IT FITS PERFECTLY. I THINK IT IS A FINE PRODUCT TO PROTECT YOUR BOW. MY IS ALMOST 2-K BUT IT IS WORTH $30 ( under) to PROTECT YOUR BOW FROM SNOW SLEET AND RAIN TO GO TO YOUR TREE STAND.
IT GOES OVER BOTH SHOULDERS OR JUST ONE. I PUT IT OVER MY SHOULDER AND OVER MY HEAD AND IT GETS IT DONE. TITAN IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR MY NEEDS. GOOD LUCK HUNTING!!!!!!.
The Montana Bow Sling was designed and is manufactured by another Bozeman, Montana innovator, Creative Outdoors, LLC. It attaches directly to the existing buckles, webbing, D-rings, MOLLE webbing, or even to the webbing handle that is already on most pack designs.
The Montana Bow Sling can be set up to carry your bow hands free on the right or left side of your body. Tips: When the Montana Bow Sling is not in use, take the riser hooks and either remove them using the quick release buckle or hook them back to the pack to minimize snagging on bush or trees.
Snags can happen, but the hooks are designed to straighten out. They are easily bent back into shape. When using the sling, thread the strap that comes across your chest under or behind your binocular straps or harness.
This allows for complete mobility of your binos without restrictions. Watch videos from Creative Outdoors here: Montana Bow Sling Demo Installation Demo | FHF Gear Montana Bow Sling in Coyote Brown.
The sling is great. It can attach to packs in a variety of ways or you can use the sling by itself. By itself it won’t have any kind of padding for the strap but it could still be used this way. You can position the sling in front of you or even slide it to one side or the other.
The hooks can be adjusted so if you wanted to close them, say for rough travel, you can bend them closed to hold your bow more securely. Very good product.
I got to test the bow sling this past week in the Idaho backcountry chasing elk. Previously I hunted without one and knew I needed something other than just my hands to carry my bow, especially in deep timber, deadfall and tangling bushes.
Well the bow sling was just what the doctor ordered. My hands were free to climb, grab and carry other things and my bow could also be slung off to the side and out of the way. When it came time to actually shoot my bow the slings were easily tucked out of the way.
I had been using a different sling and it was ok but my neck would get sore. Having this Montana Bow Sling has made all the difference. Having the weight on my pack makes it feel like the bow isn’t even there.
Also wearing it on my FHF harness while 3d shooting is amazing. Only small down side is that there is no string, cable, cam coverage.

Holding many advantages over traditional nylon webbing used in climbing, the Dynatec has a much highter strength-to-weight ratio and is less susceptible to UV damage. It has a greater resistance to abrasion and is idea for creating lightweight quickdraws.
The Dynatec also absorbs much less water than nylon which is very important for winter climbing. The slim profile allows use for narrow threads and to sit better on marginal spike placements.
The sling itself works fine. It is fairly stiff so if I were to go back, I’d probably go for the Mammut Contact. This one is 11mm, but the 8mm Contact has just about the same strength for much less bulk.
However, I’m talking about the DMM 11mm Dyneema! The build is sturdy and colors/stitching look great. If there was a sale or I needed an 11mm, I’d certainly get more of these. Biggest issue is that I got the Green sling, with size listed as “one size”.
Well I matched the SKU on DMM’s site and it implied that the only Green sling in their commercial line was a 240cm, so I jumped on the item expecting that quadruple length. It came, and it was only 30cm.
Yes, I mean 30cm. Tiny. Turns out the one they shipped was in their Professional line which has different colors for lengths- not sure how they were being sold commercially. Disappointed since I couldn’t return them, so now they just sit on a shelf and are used for slinging accessories together.
Bought these because they were on sale and were the width I was looking for, they turned out to be great. They are nice and flexible and wide enough to be confidence inspiring (I’m not a fan of the 8mm slings).
I don’t make a habit of tying knots in them but they are still fairly easy to untie after loading a knot. The tag doesn’t stick out as annoyingly far as on some brands (like BD), but it’s not fully contained and snag-free like the Mammuts.
I knew the tags stick out before I bought them, however, and they still work fine for alpine draws. I ended up getting red 60cm slings and green 120cm slings. I wish you could chose the colors (DMM offers different colors in each size) to coordinate your rack, however.
Our unique latex formulation and dip manufacturing process delivers radical modulus strength. The power curve increases as bands are stretched for optimum performance. Special anti-oxidants help protect against harmful U.

A shotgun sling for turkey hunting can be a great addition to your hunting gear. It can help you keep your shotgun close at hand while you are moving through the woods and can also provide a place to store your shotgun when you are not using it.
There are a few things to consider when choosing a shotgun sling for turkey hunting. First, you need to decide what type of sling you want. There are two main types of slings, a single point sling and a two point sling.
A single point sling is attached to the shotgun at one point, usually near the butt of the gun. This type of sling is quick to put on and take off and can be easily adjusted to fit different sizes of people.
A two point sling is attached to the shotgun at two points, usually near the front and rear of the gun. This type of sling is more stable and provides more support for the shotgun. It is also more difficult to put on and take off.
Second, you need to decide what material you want your sling to be made out of. There are two main types of materials, leather and nylon. Leather is more durable and will last longer, but it is also more expensive.
Nylon is less expensive and will not last as long, but it is easier to clean and is not as heavy as leather. Third, you need to decide what color you want your sling to be. Turkey hunters typically prefer to use a camo pattern so that they blend in with their surroundings.
However, you can choose any color that you want. Fourth, you need to decide what size you need. Shotgun slings come in different sizes to fit different sized people. You will need to measure yourself to determine what size you need.
Fifth, you need to decide how much you want to spend. Shotgun slings range in price from a few dollars to over one hundred dollars. Choose the sling that fits your budget and your needs.
