Vans Old Skool Core Shoes, Men's, M10/W11.5, Black/Black
The Old Skool vans are the classic skate shoes from vans and the first model to show off the iconic sidestripe. Its origin goes back to nothing less than the Seventies. And his style commemorates the most rebellious British world of the moment.
They are low-cut slippers with laces, made with canvas lining and sturdy leather. They feature reinforced toe-outs to add durability, rubber-fiber sole and padded collar to provide fastening and flexibility.
In the midst of the revival of retro and vintage the Old Skool have been adopted by many celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Kristen Stewart, Shia LaBeouf or Julia Roberts herself.
I’ve worn these multiple times now for a lot of walking and had no problems. I wore them with no-show socks. I struggled trying to figure out what size to get bc I also have a pair of Vans platform slides that I had to order down (size 8) a size.
I wear an 8. 5/9, usually a 9 in flats. For these the size 8. 5 were perfect even with a pair of no-show socks. I do not have narrow feet or wide they’re pretty average. I have a high arch and suffer from plantar fasciitis often and the first time I wore these for a lot of walking I was dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis.
These provided plenty of arch support for me (no additional arch support/inserts used) and I never had any pain even though I was on my feet for a long time.
The smell. Oh, the smell of a fresh shoe. The unboxing is always a wonderful stage as you get the first glance but the smell takes you along to another land, filled with flying unicorns and fresh shoes that grow from the cabbage patch.
This shoe, however, exceeds all others. Soft from the ball of the foot to the tips of the toes, it hugs you into a false sense of something like hovering. The plump cuffs snuggle up gently to your ankles in a manner akin to how you would imagine a calf does to mother cow.
To top it off, you look even cooler wearing them than you do holding them.
The shoe came in a not perfect condition, and I did not realize and wore it just once and when I told JDSports about it all they said was “too bad you wore it already”. So I find that the QC did not even do their job right and also a bad way of handling the case.
I did not know I had to inspect every part of the shoe before wearing a brand new shoe and thought that it had a defect to it. I thought I could have trusted the company and its QC to do a proper job but I guess I was wrong about that.
Also, the shoe has no grip so when the floor is wet the shoe gets slippery. I hope the company would do something about it for both my defective shoe and the grip of the shoe.

i am obsessed with this colorway but not the nubby suede on the toebox. it’s textured, i get it: but the nap on one is so rough it looks damaged. been starting at them for two weeks debating a return.

Purchased for a heavy person (325) with a hard job-on his feet walking on concrete floor for entire shift pushing a big tool cart. Shoes perform perfectly. Very forgiving to knees, they take a lot of weight and give great support.
They have been worn for almost 3 months of 8-10 hr shifts 6 days a week and still giving support and look nice. The suede is holding up well, shoes even got drenched in salt after being outside walking during snow storm and it bounced right back.
Just let them dry out completely and gave a light brushing-they still look pretty good. The soles are still good-will have to replace probably in another month but for the price which was awesome, to last this long and still perform and look good, I highly recommend these shoes.

Return to the one that started it all, the Jordan Retro 1 High OG. This retro takes you back to the beginning of the sneaker culture’s biggest turning point. The original remains as relevant today as when it was incurring fines on Michael Jordan from the league office for violating team uniform policies of the time.
Recognizing a prime marketing opportunity when it saw one, Nike gladly paid the fine, and the shoe’s – and player’s – popularity soared. The leather upper features the legendary Air Jordan “Wings” logo on lateral (outer) ankle.
Padded collar for extra comfort. Air-Sole unit in the heel for comfortable cushioning. Solid rubber cupsole with flex grooves and a concentric pattern offers durable grip.
I love the shoe, however, don’t say that they’re “metallic” when there’s absolutely NO metallic on the shoes! I was expecting even the kid and toddler shoes to have the metallic symbols but NO, I guess it’s ONLY if you buy the shoes in women sizes.
So disappointing!! 🤬🤬 At least offer metallic shoe strings!! SMH.
Dope shoes for the wife. Wasn’t impressed with the packaging though. Was surprised it was not double boxed. The plastic packaging got caught by the mail processing machine. substantially damaged the package and box.
Traditional lace-up closure offers a secure fit. Classic round toe silhouette. Sweat-wicking, removable insoles keep your feet dry. Padded tongue and collar for added support. 100% recycled post-consumer plastics upper.
80% polyfoam, 20% terry fiber lining. 100% eva insole. 100% rubber outsole. Imported. Weight of footwear is based on a single item, not a pair.
The sole is a bit thicker than the one found on the Zilker. Not as narrow, but not the proper width either. I’ve been waiting to purchase them since they were on pre-order hoping they’ll be better than the Zilker.
I found the Classic to be uncomfortable around the pinky toes because of a very pronounced inside seam, and slightly chunky around the ankle. The insole is the same poor quality found in the Zilker. Because they only come in that off-white color, you can’t really pair them with various outfits.
Just because they have three different colors for the heel tab, doesn’t mean the sneakers are offered in three different colors. In the end is the same color sneaker. I ended up returning them. My overall impression of Suavs: they are Instagram sneakers, not sneakers for real life.
I’m so happy with these sneakers. I searched for a long time for a classic style shoe that was washable, was good for all seasons, and sustainably made. I wore these around New York City the day after they were delivered.
I walked for 9 miles and I got zero blisters and was comfy the entire day with no wearing them in or band aids. The fit truly is perfect. These are comfy and look great with any outfit. There was a few small defects with my order but it was easily and quickly resolved with the support team.
I have already recommend them to many friends and I recommend you buy them too!.
Go above and beyond. Upholding the highest standards of design and quality, the purity of the Morgen Trainers display craftsmanship that is above and beyond the standard. Comfortable and versatile, they look sharp and will elevate even the most basic outfit.
With a pair of sturdy Morgens on your feet, you can be sure that you’ll be sporting some of the best looking trainers around. This product is made from full-grain calfskin leather sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery based in Arzignano, Italy.
Being the highest level of recognition awarded by the Leather Working Group, a Gold rating signifies the leather manufacturer meets the most stringent criteria and demonstrates a strong commitment to mitigating its environmental impact.
I appreciate the time & effort involved in the production of these sneakers. Although the white on white weren’t my first choice. They were sent to me as a compensatory option due to such high demand on the batch of my original purchase.
Apparently each batch of shoes needs at least a 2 month window prior to delivery & I needed my pair prior to my Birthday trip to Tulum Mexico. The service representative gave me the option of a full refund or an alternate pair.
I would usually take the refund but the patience displayed in handling my precarious predicament assured me that my best interests would be taken to assure satisfaction. So I chose the shoes sent via priority shipping & I do not regret my purchase.
Such well made & style yet subtle footwear. Very inconspicuous & worked well with every outfit I set aside for my trip. Thank you Beckett Simonon. I think you earned my repeat business.
I purchased Morgen Trainers (full-grain leather & suede) in black with gum sole. I love them. They are beautiful and fit great. Really nice travel bags are included, which I had to use last week due to an evacuation for a wildfire here in CO.
That’s right, I thought of my Morgans as I was fleeing a wildfire. I definitely wasn’t going to wear these beauties during the evacuation. Now on to the experience. I have never been so informed during the manufacturing process.
Beckett Simonon really went above and beyond. I got emails every step of the way with descriptions of the people making the shoes. Yes they are people and I’m sure they appreciate being given some props for their hard work.
Beckett Simonon has raised the bar in communication. I’m sure we are all tired of the impersonal experience with big companies. Let me tell you, the business practices of Beckett Simonon are threatening the status quo and for good reason.
Sharpen your sneaker game with these men’s 550 trainers from New Balance. In a White colourway with Red accents, these kicks have a premium leather upper for long-lasting wear and max’ comfort. They feature a lace fastening with a padded ankle collar for snug, supportive wear and have perforations to keep your feet feeling fresh.
Underfoot is a soft midsole for cushioned comfort every step and a rubber outsole for traction. Finished with the ‘N’ logo to the sidewalls and New Balance branding throughout.
The NB 550’s are all the rage with sneakerheads recently been trying to get a pair to see if they live up to the hype. Fit true to size and are very comfortable but a bit tight like they need to be worked in.
Ordered them on a Tuesday, and had them less than 24 hours later.
New Balance’s 550 silhouette is a certified lifestyle classic, and now it arrives in a crisp white guise with grey accents. Smooth and perforated leather fills the upper with tonal ‘N’ logos to the sidewalls and 550 numbering on the lateral side.
Tongue branding nods to its b-ball roots, while two-tone rubber soles sport white and quintessentially NB grey hues. BB550PB1, Textile & Synthetic Upper/Synthetic Sole.
I have read about the unfinished tongue and the crooked logo on the heel. These are retro-inspired shoes, people! These details are like that on purpose. Do you really think NB can’t print their name stright on the heel, or that they didn’t think of the exposed foam on the tongue? No, guys, this is the way shoes were in the ’70s and ’80s.
I know, because I grew up in those years and that’s how they were. It is not an oversight. It is on purpose. Yu can see the same details on retro shoes from other famous shoe companies. It would not cost them a thing to not have the foam exposed in the tongue and to print the name straight in the heel.
Next time you see something a little quirky on a retro-inspired show, stop to think that maybe, just maybe, it’s like that on purpose. Having said that, I own several pairs of these. They are TTS and quite comfortable.
Not the most comfortable in the line-up, but they are more of a lifestyle shoe, so yes, they are comfortable, but they are not made to do sports in them. As far as style, they look way more expensive than they are.
They look like one of the MiUSA styles, but way more affordable. I love them.
I have yet to see any real helpful reviews for those are looking to purchase these for the first time. For reference, I normally wear a size 12US in Nike, Vans, Adidas (Jordans, Eras, Boosts, etc. ).
For ALL New Balance shoes I’ve ever purchased, going down a half size is a must for me, and I did so again with these (11. 5), and they are a perfect fit, as expected. Know that you are buying a full cut shoe, meaning these puppies are meant to be laced up right and tight.
If you leave an eyelet open, you’re almost assuredly going to have some bad heel slippage, just the nature of these shoes. But if you can get a perfect fit, and lace them up completely, the heel slippage is very minimal, and you sort of forget about it.
Regardless, don’t expect these to be molded to your foot no matter how you do them up. Size it right, lace em’ tight, and you’ll love these.
and that’s probably why you’re checking them out. And yes, on feet they really look fantastic and tie many outfits together. However, the leather quality is questionable. Dropped mine once and now have a little permanent dent on the left toe area.
Additionally, the fit is a bit weird. Size 13 felt like the right length but the shoe would slide up and down the heel thanks to the tongue being so far forward (making for a huge opening). Had to go with a size 12 even though I end up having to curl my toes a bit cause.
you know. anything for the drip. The actual construction of the shoe seems extremely sturdy though, as is usually the case with NB, and it looks just as nice in person.
Casual and sporty. Handcrafted with the same meticulous attention to detail as our shoes, the Graham Trainers are the most casual and sporty trainers in our collection. Constructed with water-repellent suede, full-grain leather and recycled PET canvas, you can count on the strong upper for breathability, excellent water resistance and long-term stability.
Molded on a specially developed last, the Grahams will secure your feet with a firm heel grip, and your toes will be very comfortable in the ample toe box. A full leather lining and leather-lined insert, outfitted with double density memory foam, create an ultra-soft and supple interior.
As the memory foam adapts to the shape of your feet, and to the way you walk, a custom fit will develop. The buoyant, lightweight EVA sole is actually two layers with different densities for excellent balance, shock absorption and grippiness.
And, the contrast of the curved rubber cap with an angular back makes a bold statement. Any professional shoemaker would be happy to wear the Graham Trainers; they’ll quickly become your “go-tos” for running errands and casual outings.
This product is made with full-grain calfskin leather and water-repellent suede sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery based in Arzignano, Italy. Being the highest level of recognition awarded by the Leather Working Group, a Gold rating signifies the leather manufacturer meets the most stringent criteria and demonstrates a strong commitment to mitigating its environmental impact.
The Good – They look great. The darker gray is great for everyday stretch pants and jeans. I get compliments on them often. They seem well made with quality materials. Communication with Beckett Simonon is constant as your order is being prepared.
The Bad – not the most comfortable shoe. A little rigid and bulky for a trainer. A thicker merino wool sock mitigates this for me. They smell like a paint can out of the box. Lacing is slightly weird but not a big issue.
I thought I’ll try out these trainers. They looked okay to me when viewing the photos of it. Although they seemed slightly chunky to me. They looked better once I had them in my hands. The shoes are very comfortable and the sole has excellent traction.
I bought these for walking around in and they felt good from the get go.
These are some of the best sneakers I’ve bought. They are sturdy, but lightweight, extremely comfortable, and well design to last. I wore them on my international trip (15+ hours of travel) and not only did they stay structured but were extremely comfortable in flight and running through the airports as well as upon landing straight to a dinner meeting (they look great on any occasion).
As refined as they are relaxed, our low tops are ready to tackle whatever your day has in store. Like all our shoes, they’re made by hand in Marche, Italy, using the finest Italian Nappa leather. Real leather means real luxury and real durability.
This style runs 1/2 size large, so you should size down. If you normally wear a 10, order a size 9. 5.
Purchased the Brown leather. Leather quality is second to none. Fit is good once the leather breaks in To your foot. Took my about a week of wearing. Now they have a great fit. Insole is leather, thick and removable so you could fit orthotics or different cushioned insoles.
I did notice the squeak other reviewer mentioned but before anyone panics… it’s not an annoying squeak. More of super high quality leather tongue breaking in. As it’s molded to my foot I hear less and less.
i wasn’t sure which color my Dad would like best so i bought them in both browns & black. i was hoping he would at least like one pair. to my surprise he loved both & kept both. i chose this brand because the reviews said that they were comfortable right from the start; didn’t have to be broken in.
this was true! my Dad wore them right out of the box and for the next two days i was with him. he loves them & so does my Mom. Christmas was a success! and thank you for the speedy shipping! 👍🏽.
These are a super quality shoe and they always get compliments when I wear them. Could be a little more comfortable, but are by no means uncomfortable. Wish something stopped the tongue from sliding to the side but I think thats pretty normal for this kind of shoe.
Would definitely purchase another pair though. Woulda given 4. 5 stars if I could have!.
Light and swift with impact protection. Features Helion superfoam so running on hard surfaces never felt easier. On Running recommends buying a half size up in this model.

My Hey Dude inventory of shoes is in the double digits and I have have liked/loved the majority of them. I purchased the shoes on sale at the official web page and so not returnable. When I first put these on my feet started to ache within minutes, they are a boot so I walked around the upper level of my house for a while finally taking them off from the discomfort.
I own 2 sets of Dude boots and neither feel anything like this pair. I had a friend with the same size foot try them on and he exclaimed how uncomfortable they felt. I’ve been happy with Hey Dudes up to this point.
I can live with short life of the soles, having to replace the inserts in every pair I own (Not a heavy fellow, 160 lbs) because I’m a fan but when they send out a defective pair of shoes with no recourse for return is a cautionary tale of doing business with Hey Dudes.
There is no lack of lightweight shoe companies out there and I may just have to cheat on my beloved Dudes. YMMV Live Kind :).

I’ve been happy up to this point with Hey Dudes, I can live with the quick wearing soles (they wear out fast and I’m only 160 lb Dude) and having to replace the inserts every couple months but being sent a defective pair of shoes and having no recourse for return is a cautionary tale of doing business with Hey Dudes.
There really is no lack of light comfortable shoe brands out there and I may just have to cheat on my beloved Hey Dudes. YMMV Live kind people.
I ordered these boots from Dillard’s in November (since that was the only retailer with size 15). Immediately loved them. They are comfortable, flexible, and light. I have an office job and wore them to work a few days a week.
I would also wear them sometimes on the weekends. Fast forward to March, and there’s a big hole along the seam in the toe-box. Mind you, these boots have only seen light use and still look new. I contacted Dillard’s, and they said it was a warranty issue and I needed to take it up with Hey Dude.
I emailed Hey Dude and have yet to hear back. I did, however, reach them through FB Messenger. They said they would not honor their warranty because I bought the boots through a retailer. Seriously? Why sell your product through retailers, and not honor your warranty on $90 boots that failed after four months? It’s a shame because we love(d) this brand.
I have two pair of Wallys, and my wife has a pair of boots and three pair of Wendys.
