I looked everywhere for mocassins for Christmas–for my husband. These are by FAR the best for the money. The second I opened the box, my first thought was, GORGEOUS. Just what I’d hoped for. They’re soft enough to be comfortable, but rugged enough to stand up to years of wear.

They also look great–which is a good thing, since my husband is very picky. He wants a combination of stylish and North Woods feel–this is not an easy wish to fill. One thing I love about them is that they work indoors or out.

You can step out for wood for the fire without changing shoes, then curl up to read a book. No one wants mocassins you have to “break in”–like hiking boots. They should fit so well you literally forget they’re on your feet.

These do. You won’t forget totally, though–because every now and then, you’ll look down and go, “Man, I like the looks of those. “.

Very rigid/not firm leather. Other loafers I have worn in the past were flexible, bendable, and most importantly the leatherwas soft out of the box. I had to use both hands to get the loafer on my foot.

I bought the loafer because of the color (in reality the loafer is darker in color than what is displayed on website) and design. I was very excited to receive the loafer. It turned out in my particular case, that this loafer was anything but a “slip-on” loafer as perhaps the style suggests.

I thought at this price point I would at least receive a satisfactory loafer and not have to return after taking 5 steps indoors. Oh, well. The search for the “soft” leather loafer continues. So bummed because the design looks great.

This is my first pair of “Drivers” and I am not sure why I have waited to my advanced age. The style is excellent for a person with a wide foot and a narrow heel. Being a New Yorker, “driving” and sports cars was the furthest thing from my mind.

New Yorkers do a lot of walking and this shoe is like going barefoot in style with good support and spring to boot (or to shoe!) and a surprising forward balance. It is not a sedentary piece of footwear.

I may get it in other colors – very classy and understated anywhere. Great price!.

I bought these for my husband. He says they’re comfortable and is able to wear them for work and casually. They are pricey, but that’s the brand.

I wish they still made these in a variety of colors. I would buy 2 pair now. They are among the most comfortable shoes I have worn. I have 4E width feet and these are wonderful. I just got the X-Wide.

I don’t believe they are actually wide enough, but have broken in over the past year or so. I hope they begin making them again. I cannot find a pair that fits like these. New Balance has gone downhill since I have been wearing them (15-20 years) I was once able to count on the fit being great.

Now I have to try them on and walk around for a few minutes to find a pair that fits close enough. All that said, these are great. Too bad everyone’s feet are differently shaped I guess. They might be a nightmare for you, but if you are size 12 4E they should do the trick.

For the past year or more they have apparently stopped making them in different colors. Now only brown and I don’t want that color or the material I’m pretty sure they are made with. Other colors are made with different material.

New Balance is going to loose business from me in the future. Get your stuff together NB! You once made excellent 4E shoes.

The appearance of the shoe suggested good quality to me. I wear a 10. 5 4E shoe. I currently wear the 990 v5 in this size. However, I wanted a brown shoe and made an online purchase of the 669 v2. I found the 669 v2 to feel a bit narrower than the 990.

The outside measurement of the 990 v5 sole is slightly wider than the 669 v2, which may add to the overall comfort of the 990. Before returning the shoes, I checked with our factory store to see if they had the 993, assuming that staying in the 990 line I might find the same comfort.

I called the factory store and they said they had those shoes, in my size. About a week later I drove the 60 miles to the store to find that the 990’s and the 993’s were taken off the shelf for some reason and were not available.

So at this moment, I wear an old pair of 990’s that need replacing and my go to store doesn’t have the shoe line or sizes I need. I also haven’t been able to find my size and color of the 669 v2 online.

I plan to wear these shoes on a sightseeing trip to Europe. They will be appropriate for touring towns with uneven pavement and cobblestone sidewalks and for light hiking on uneven terrain. I like that they are a darker color, have a protected toe area and some leather.

They will be able to stand up to wet weather and muddy trails and messy roads. I have worn them for a couple of days in a row and my legs did not feel fatigued. I have yet to take that trip but expect that I will still be pleased with these shoes.

These Bally’s fit perfect to size. Very light and comfortable with a contemporary design that makes it versatile. Goes good with shorts or dress it up with khaki’s. I bought it for walking the strip in Waikiki.

Beautiful, comfortable shoe. Bought these and the Sperry Harpswell Driving Moccasin (also a cognac color) for my partner and he ended up keeping the latter–these are buttery soft, but the color is monotone and he decided he liked the color variation in the Sperry pair a little better.

Very pleased with this purchase. I have them in both brown and blue. I normally wear 10. 5 which is what I ordered and these fit very well. And the sole comes up far enough up front that you don’t scuff up the toe.

Ha. This is my first pair of MJNY Drivers. The quality is second to none; very well made. If you are tired of horse bits like me, this is a nice update or alternative. Modern sophistication, methinks.

Bought theses shoes for my son. They really help him with pedal feel when driving, especially In a manual car.

Being used to taking these shoes, I was not disoriented. My old ones lasted 4 years with such intensive use that I used the entire sole underneath. Suede tends to be easily damaged at first but over time it is okay.

Like the look of the shoes but I ordered my usual size but should have ordered the next size up. I should have returned them but thought they might stretch out. So i will not get much use out of them but they are nice shoes so I would suggest ordering the next size up.

I’ve had numerous driver shoes over the years and I’ve paid top dollar for many of them. These Deer Stag drivers are some of the best I’ve purchased! Really nice leather and quality construction. Plus they’re ridiculously comfortable and I got them for a steal here at Famous Footwear.

I really like the in person look even better than the website image. The leather is very soft and taupe color is spot on. The fit is perfect. I am an 11 and ordered an 11 and voila. I have a very neutral foot.

They are understated too, not like they were trying to be overly creative in a sense like some driver designers. Also the laces, I love the how they lay. They don’t twist around. They are flush on top of the vamp.

I have worn them with slacks, dress jeans and shorts of course. To me they seem to be quite versatile. Unfortunately I have drivers in their other color options but I may grab a couple pair anyway. PS I am wearing them now!.

Worn them about a week now and they are great. The quality and look of the suede and the leather ties are great, but the kicker are the athletic insoles rather than leather ones – great for walking around and activity/sweat.

good shoe for the price. I think they run large in size as I wear a 11. 5 always and these are more than a bit large, wish I could get a half or full size smaller , but the return shipping cost would not make it cost effective.

Perhaps a prepaid return would be nice. I wasn’t aware that this product came from China and perhaps if I did I wouldn’t have made the purchase. Over all it was a OK deal.

I am really enjoying these driving shoes! They are very lightweight, very comfortable and the sizes are spot on. They are very well-made, have a flat insole and adjusting the tightness is very easy. Would I buy these shoes again, absolutely! Thanks for a great pair of shoes.

This is my second pair of Shifts and I’m happy to get more in the future. Extremely comfortable, breathable, and stylish as well. Excellent build quality and slim shape. Pedal feel is great while also providing more to you than just a driving shoe.

Can be worn in many different situations depending on your outfit. Black suede and white bottom color way in the future please Piloti! Bring the chalk color way to the Apex too please! And black and white bottom too if you ever release something like that.

I love this shoe. It has awesome pedal feel and walkability (wouldn’t recommend a day at the mall in them though). I wear an Adidas size 11. 5 and bought the same and it works great for comfort. If you want an even more direct shoe, I could easily do an 11.

Perfect work shoe, the gold details add flare. Would recommend staying true to your full size and not go up a half because even with socks they feel a tad roomy and will only expand more. You may get a blister or two if you stick with the regular size but will last longer.

I bought the silver loafers and they are pretty. Nice neutral for cool colors. I wear a lot of white and blue so it goes well. This shoe does not provide support and would not wear if you plan to do a lot of walking.

I purchased the green loafer. The hue was vibrant and craftsmanship was sturdy. Unfortunately I had to return them because they are more structured for narrow feet.

Thanks for making these driving shoes available again. My first pair from 25 years ago is long gone. These shoes, along with a pair of Pumas and a pair of Sparcos, are used in rotation for my work developing race car simulation models in a driving simulator.

The rounded heal is a must-have for proper pedal modulatiion. The rubber soles have a lot of grip – almost too much. The fit is narrow in the forefoot and a little loose in the heal – but this is remidied by changing the insoles.

There is very little support for walking around, but this seems like a design decision biased towards DRIVING. Of course these are the shoes I’ll wear outside the office when I’m driving my real E30 M3!.

I was so much thrilled to receive my TOD’S Patent Black Moccasin shoes. When I opened the box, I was so excited and happy to see my second Gommini shoes. They were well carefully wrapped in the TOD’S orange tissues with plastic white sticks to keep the shoes in an elegant shape.

I tried them right away and they fit my feet right so comfortable, although width is a bit narrow, but leather quality is EXCELLENT, so they fit really smoothly nice on my feet!! If you like or interested in buying TOD’S Gommini, you might consider 1/2 bigger size than your regular shoes, because they are relatively narrow.

But high quality leather definitely will well fit on your feet over years. I think more years you wear them, greater personal fit you could feel! The only thing I wanted is 1 more dust bag, so I can protect shoes in two separate bags!.
