Equipped with a Tetra 3i filter to keep your tank clean and provide a perfect environment for small tropical fish The tank features an LED light to highlight your fish The lid features a convenient feeding hole For small tropical fish, goldfish, or a betta 10 inch D x 10 inch W x 10.
The tank is plastic, as is the case with a lot of tanks, but do not be fooled by it. It will not break with the weight of the water as several people are afraid of. My 3 gallon tank is holding up just fine, I was even able to pick it up (from the base, of course).
The light works great, and the lid is easily removed, but if you have a cat (as I do), you might want to tape two sides of it just so it’s not removed easily. It has a feeding hole and space in the back for the heater and a filter to hang from while still allowing the lid to fully close.
The ONLY negative thing was the filter. Aside from being too strong for a betta (in my mind), the pump vibrates A LOT and makes a terrible rumbling noise when laid against furniture. You might get lucky wrapping it up in tube socks or some other item, but that was the only nuisance I found with the product overall.
The filter pump is the only thing that stopped me from giving this product 5 stars. But I am happy w/ it and do recommend it.
well, the sale went ok and i got it sooner than was thinking i would; 5 stars for that but what i dont like about it is as a women have already pointed out the filter it comes with is cheap and not all that good but it does work to a point.
the tank is ok it hold up good the lid for it hm i dont really like all that well but it is easy to put on and take off. the lights that come with it are good all doe it can’t get all that wet but it works great; 5 stars for that.
the water pump for the filter work good i would give it a 5. stars.
Tank itself is really great! The filter that comes with the tank isnt all that good, I use the AZOO mignon 60, it fits perfectly in the back! The plastic is very durable and clear, also lighter than a regular glass tank! The plastic lid also lowers water evaporation and keeps fish from jumping out.
Aquarium Kit contains what you would need to get started on your own aquarium fish tank. It features a unique “bent glass” frameless design that will look sleek and fit seamlessly into your home. Typical aquariums are built using 5 pieces of glass glued together, whereas our tanks are only 3 pieces which provides increased strength and quality through fewer glue points and seams.
It contains rounded corners that provide superior visibility from all angles. The Penn Plax radius curved corner glass aquarium kit is available in a variety of sizes to accommodate your aquatic interests and needs.
The smaller varieties are ideal for use as a Betta fish tank while the larger kits are great for housing small types of fish like guppies, rasboras, cory cats, dwarf gouramis, platies, and more. Simply fill this desktop fish tank with the décor of your choosing (not included in kit).
Though small in stature, Fluval Spec is big on features. It comes with a sleekly-designed overhanging lighting system, consisting of 31 powerful LED lamps, that arches above the aquarium to provide brilliant illumination for plants and d cor.
The aquarium includes a powerful circulation pump with adjustable output nozzle and a large 3-stage filtration system that provides more than enough filtration for ultra clean and clear water. It also comes with all the necessary filter media: a porous foam block with convenient handle, activated carbon, and Bio max bio rings for effective and thorough mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration.
The pump and filtration system are conveniently located in a separate chamber at one end of the aquarium to simplify maintenance.
If you go to Fluval’s website you will see that they don’t recommend any tank under 20 gal. The light is overly bright and causes ton’s of algae. I have to scrape the sides with a razor blade every 4 days.
The inlet and outlet are on the same side of the tank making for circular water flow. I have to shut the filter off to feed the fish as the food gets sucks right into the filter. In the first 4 weeks of having this tank the pump wouldn’t restart twice after being shut off and needed to be taken apart to get to work again.
The suction cups on the bottom of the pump pull off when removing pump and the space is so small there is no way to get them out. Don’t get gravel or anything else in the bottom of the filter section as you won’t be able to remove them.
In case you are wondering, the pump is on the lowest setting and there are 3 fish in the tank and I’m finding it needs weekly water changes. Also, I did not buy this tank from Chewy and my review is no reflection on them.
I’ve had 3 of these, over the course of 2 years. The filter and the little slat where the water filters through is a death trap for fish. You have to essentially, get the aquarium grade silicon, and then push a soft netting on it to cover the filtration slot.
Then on the other side where the filtration medium goes, place a very small holed filtration net with silicon, or your fish end up dead and it has killed other fish when one is stuck there. The tank tends to leak on one or two of the edges after about a month or two.
It’s because they poorly place the glass panels together, it’s a given if you’re not going to purchase an actually decent tank. You can patch these, but it does suck since you bought it to use it. the lighting is decent now compared to the older models.
Night mode is very cool looking. To be honest, this is a VERY cheap tank. Remove the black plastic liner in it, buy your own separate filter for around 10-15 bucks, get a thermostat in it, because this tank gets COLD very quickly.
Cold will kill your fish btw. And just keep an eye out on it everyday to every couple of days. It’s not a terrible tank, but with the modifications necessary to make it better, it’s not exactly the best.
Oh, if you have cats, tape down the lid, they like to knock it off. You know what would happen then if you let them. Also, just a note, that the filter does have two options on the strength. Its on the filters square motor, you simply look for the spot where there’s a tiny lever in the block, and push it up or down for + or – strength.
But again, the filters a fish killer so you’re taking the chance. I’ve had enough of these as well as petco replacements to know. Take care and you’ll be good.
The Umbra Fish Hotel is an award-winning modern home for your finned friends. Modeled after a contemporary condominium, this reinvented aquarium features a sleek white shell with assymetrical “windows.
” Individual units can be stacked to create a condo effect. Glass bowl is removable for cleaning.
I bought 2 of these over 10 years ago and my kids loved them. Now my grandkids use them & spend a lot of time watching the fish. I paid $10 each so $69 is crazy now. They are exactly the same as mine.
I do not suggest buying this fishtank. fish require more space and enough room for a filter. otherwise you’ll have to change the water everyday for the tank to stay clean. the only fish I would recommend to live in this tank would be beta.
Zoo Med Floating Betta Log this patent pending mirror is designed to promote natural territorial behaviors and to provide an enriching activity that reduces boredom for bettas everywhere. Every time your betta sees himself in it, he will wiggle and move his fins, providing much needed exercise.

Plus, its ready to use out of the package with no assembly or setup. Patent pending floating mirror promotes natural territorial behaviors in bettas. Provides an enriching activity that reduces boredom and supports healthy exercise.
Your betta will exercise? his fins as he sees himself in the mirror every time he swims by. Easy to use by simply submersing mirror in aquarium with a convenient floating ball to keep it in place. No assembly is needed and is designed to be used daily for short periods of time.
I know that it might be cool to see your betta “wagging it’s fins” and “practicing natural territorial behaviours” but please just don’t get this. No matter how long you leave it in for, it will stress out your betta! If a random person just showed up in your house and just stood there looking at you, even if it was for five minutes, wouldn’t you freak out?? I know I would.
These kinds of ‘toys’ aren’t good for your male betta. If you plan to put your betta in a community tank after using this ‘toy,’ it might be hard to avoid fish fights due to their stress from the toy but also their mindset of “i have to be prepared at all times to protect myself!”.
The LED lights are powered by three AA batteries (not included) and can also be powered using a micro USB B Cable with AC adapter (not included) to plug the unit into any outlet. With plenty of versatility with lighting options and a unique style, this great half moon LED kit is perfect for your betta fish.
I love this fish tank and everybody at work adores it. The only downfall is that now that cold time is approaching I need to put a heater in it and you have to be very careful not to buy one that is too powerful since you don’t want to boil your fish.
A 5-watt is perfect but it takes up space and poor Tyson wont have much room since there is already a plant in the tank. I’ll be upgrading him to a 2. 5 gallon tank for the winter. Other than that the tank looks great!.
I bought this tank about a year ago, and have never had any problems with it. The LED light is great, and I’ve only had to change the batteries once. It has been the perfect started tank for my bettas, and is in near perfect condition a year later.
It also has holes for feeding/a heater. I would recommend to any first time betta owners as a starter tank.

I absolutely love chewy. I purchased this and within two days I had it! That’s pretty amazing for where I live. After doing lots of searching on glass tanks, I purchased this one. According to some of the questions answered the divider comes out of the center.
No it does not it is siliconed in. I am sure it could be cut out, but that chances damage to the tank. After tank set up the tank does look very nice. However the whole pump set up is an absolute nightmare.
The lack of directions and material supplied does not allow for the pump to be towards the bottom. I have checked my local hardware store and pet store. I live in a small town and the closest fish store is an hour and 20 minutes away.
So I went for the super pet store or the cheap home-improvement store. Neither of which had anything that I could use to set the pump up successfully. I was able to place an online order and in 3-5 days should arrive.
If you are using this for a betta it would definitely be best for your fish to stream the pump output across both sides even at the lowest the flow is too much for just one side of the tank. I absolutely love the design, it has a smooth and streamline appearance, I just wish something a little better could’ve been done for that pump.
This tank is made of real glass and has a great filter. I’ve purchased cheaper tanks for my children’s Betta fish in the past. It is well worth the extra money for this tank. The glass lid arrived broken but the seller quickly sent me a replacement for no extra charge.

Within 1 month of purchase the LED hood went out. Jet was fantastic at replacing the entire unit immediately. Within the next 7 months, the NEW LED light hood went out, along with BOTH filters and pumps.
This kit is absolute garbage and I don’t recommend it for a second. Let me reiterate: in an 8 month span, absolutely EVERY component on TWO of these kits no longer functioned. *** Buyer Beware! ***.
Nice looking, sleek cover. Light is nice, with so many options. The white light should be brighter, for even low light plants. Filter seems to be enough for 5 gal. and is quiet. The feeding hole has cross bars that are not necessary,as they tend to catch the food.
It is a great tank for a betta because the water movement is gentle. photos appear to show a black back ,it is a clear back, that was a disappointment!.

With decades of proven performance and high quality products its no wonder Tetra is the go to brand for aquatics beginners and veterans alike.
Tetra makes all the difference with the Tetra Internal Filtration System. It utilizes a 2 part filtration system. The first is mechanical filtration where the filter pulls water out of the aquarium and pushes it through the filter cartridge where the dense, dual sided mesh catches debris and waste.
The second step uses chemical filtration where Ultra-Activated Carbons remove odor and debris. Not only does the Starter Kit come with the Tetra Internal Filtration System but it also has the power of ColorFusion LEDs that illuminate bubbles with a rainbow of color from red, yellow, blue, green and everything in between.
Feeding and maintaining your fish is easy with this aquarium because it also includes a feeding tube.
I just set it up and it is perfect, doesn’t take up much more counter space than the 1 gallon bowel and is much nicer to look at. Benjiman, the fish seems to like it too. The lights through the bubbles look great.
The filter is quiet. It’s a great price and got here very quickly.
The Bubbler would stop working if a slight breeze came by. It was ridiculous. The filter would not even turn on – never moved any water & never made a noise. The lights were cool tho.

The light bulb is not included. You can add a background of your choice or use it as a divider for two rooms. This product is beautiful and you won’t believe how your fish and decorations will pop when viewing your aquarium.
I finally decided to try the acrylic aquarium due to it’s light weight and lack of any structural pressure points. On the +side, very light weight compared to glass and so easy to lift and set up onto the cabinet.
Clarity when water etc. is added is excellent. HOWEVER, the large “slot” on the top where you add water, substrate, plants etc. is not that wide so it’s a bit of a task when placing your substrate, plants, logs, rocks etc.
to say nothing of adding water to the unit, so patience is needed. One BIG issue though: the top cannot be removed! If you have ANY water surface agitation, the water will splash onto the underside of the clear top; to stop algae forming you have to find some way of cleaning the underside of the top panel; not an easy thing to do and you will have to do this weekly! One FINAL gripe; they provide a rather flimsy, “corrugated” clear plastic hood to place over the gap in the top to help with evaporation loss.
This thing is a joke! It arrived slightly warped, and there is no way of fixing that! For the price the aquarium cost, you’d have thought they could have come up with something a LITTLE better made (local glass shop cut me a sheet of clear acrylic to fit over 80% of the “hole”.
Works better, but for what I paid for the aquarium, shame I had to go elsewhere to fix a design/manufacturing issue that could have been addressed by the manufacturer before releasing the product for sale.
Having said that, once the modification has been made, and I figured out how to fully clean the underside of the top of the aquarium, I am glad I made the investment! EASILY the most attractive of all my aquariums, and I will be looking to replace all the others with acrylic during the next year.
I am still in the process of setting the tank up so this is a preliminary review. To get the lost one star out of the way – the light is a wasted inclusion. It is low quality and SeaClear would have added far more value to the tank by not including the light and including a cover for the main cutout.
I have ordered an Aqueon Optibright + to replace this light hood. It is easy enough to remove and use the clear section of the light/hood to use as a tank cover, although I would imagine it would affect the quality of the light going through to the tank.
I bought the black backed version and it looks stunning. There were no scratches or blemishes on the tank upon delivery so the minimal packaging obviously works. The tank is seriously light and is easily moved around.
Once in place on the stand (Top Fin bowfront aquarium stand), it becomes clear that this is a tall tank. Even at 6″3′ it was a stretch putting the bucketed water in, no real issue though. The cut outs on the top easily accommodate the heater and Aquaclear 50 filter.
Once the water was mostly in, that is where I ran into a little inconvenience – the gap at the top of the tank did not allow my main piece of wood to fit. After a little hatchet work chipping off some edges, the eventually piece fit.
Getting the wood in still took time as I had to twist and turn to find the narrow sections in the wood (it could not be put straight down through the gap). If this piece could not be chipped away (i.
e. rock, decoration, etc), I would not have been able to use it in the tank. make sure to measure you pieces twice before ordering this tank. Dimensions are included in other reviews. One point to consider if choosing the clear back so that you can put on a backing of your choice – once full of water, there is a slight bow in the acrylic.
I have no idea how this would affect sticking a picture/backing on the tank. Overall, so far, this is a great tank and I am looking forward to finishing the set up and cycling the tank so that I can put some fish in it.
I have had my SeaClear aquarium for almost two years, and I would NEVER buy another one. It was very nice at first; crystal clear, however, with age, it did not hold up. Since there is no frame around the tank, you could eventually see a water mark form around the inside of the acrylic tank.
Then, it appeared that the food began clinging to the walls of the inside of the tank. Trust me, I didn’t feed them that much food that it should stick to the glass. Due to the food and the nasty water marks, I tried to clean the inside of the tank with a ScotchBrite pad.
That’s not steel wool, it’s kind of like a plastic scourer made out of the same material that they make the wands used to clean the inside of aquarium glass. The pad made the inside of the aquarium so dull, it appears you’re looking through a haze when I look into my aquarium.
For the high price that one has to pay for these aquariums, this should never happen. They might be heavier, but I would rather have a glass aquarium any day. This was just a waste of money.

Love the color. Can’t find anywhere else. Has black or grey pieces mixed in. Have to sift through and pick them out. Not that many -maybe 6-8 each bag. That was the only problem.

There are a few things to consider when choosing a tank for a betta fish. The size of the tank is important, as bettas need at least 2. 5 gallons of water. The shape of the tank is also important, as bettas need a lot of surface area to breathe.
A rectangular tank is a good option. The tank should also have a lid, as bettas are skilled jumpers.
Another important consideration is the tank’s filtration system. Bettas are sensitive to water conditions, so a good filtration system is essential. A power filter is a good option.
Finally, the tank should have plenty of hiding places. Bettas are shy fish and need places to hide. Live plants are a good option, as they provide both hiding places and oxygenation.
-Size
A typical betta fish set-up includes a small aquarium with a lid, a water heater, a filter, and a gravel substrate. The aquarium should be at least 2. 5 gallons in size, and the water heater should be set to maintain a water temperature of 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit.
The filter should be designed for small aquariums, and the gravel substrate should be small in size to prevent the betta from swallowing it.
-Material
The material you will need to set up a betta fish tank includes: a tank, a filter, a heater, gravel, plants, and decorations.
-Location
The best location to set up a betta fish tank is in a quiet area away from direct sunlight. The tank should be placed on a sturdy surface to avoid accidental tipping.
Choose filtration:
There are a few things to consider when choosing a filtration system for your betta fish:
1. The size of the tank – a larger tank will require a more powerful filtration system.
2. The number of fish in the tank – a greater number of fish will produce more waste, and therefore a more powerful filtration system will be necessary.
3. The type of fish in the tank – some fish produce more waste than others, and therefore a more powerful filtration system may be necessary.
4. The water conditions in the tank – some water conditions (e.g. high levels of ammonia or nitrites) will require a more powerful filtration system.
5. The budget – more powerful filtration systems will usually be more expensive.
-Internal
The internal set up of a betta fish tank is very important to the health and happiness of your fish. There are a few key things to remember when setting up the internal of your betta fish tank. First, the tank should be at least five gallons in size.
Second, the tank should have a filter and a heater. Third, the tank should be decorated with plants and rocks. Fourth, the water should be changed regularly.
-External
What do you need to set up a betta fish tank
You will need a fish tank, a filter, a heater, gravel, and plants.
Choose plants:
When choosing plants for a betta fish tank, it is important to consider the size of the plants, the type of plants, and the betta fish’s preferences.
Betta fish are relatively small fish, so it is important to choose plants that are not too large or too small for the tank. The plants should also be appropriate for the type of water in the tank.
Some betta fish prefer to swim in open water, while others prefer to hide among plants. It is important to choose plants that will provide hiding places for the betta fish, as well as open areas for swimming.
Some common plants that are well-suited for betta fish tanks include Java fern, hornwort, and anubias.
-Live
A betta fish needs a tank that is at least 2.5 gallons, with a heater to maintain a water temperature of 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit. They also need a filter, and prefer live plants in their tank.
Conclusion
After you have chosen the perfect spot for your betta fish’s home, it is time to set up the tank. You will need to add a layer of gravel to the bottom of the tank and then fill it with water. Be sure to use a water conditioner to remove any harmful chemicals from the water.
Then, add some plants and decorations to the tank to make it look nice. Finally, add your betta fish to the tank and watch him swim around.
