I saw this set and had to buy it, I already have and love 2 items in this set and wanted to try the foundation. Facebase is lovely, it’s a primer/moisturiser and really preps the skin for foundation.
It’s really thick, but spreads easily and a little goes a long way. I used prior to receiving this set as I swear it really holds my foundation in place. The scent is also lovely which is a bonus. Smokey eye mascara is my everyday mascara, 1 coat is all I need for general day wear, but what I love is that it’s buildable with each coat, 3 coats on me and I have the fullness of false lashes.
I find it does not dry out and I can add a coat on top if I’m going for drinks after work. It doesn’t smudge either, but it’s not bullet proof, I like that as it means it comes off easily on a night.
The foundation was the product that was new to me, I’ve not used any other foundation since I bought this. I don’t wear foundation every day, but when I do I reach for this. I bought beige, this is by far the best colour match of any foundation I have ever bought.
As stated above, I use the primer, I then apply the foundation in a few stripes to the skin and use a buffer foundation brush to blend. It’s a medium coverage, not full, I apply concealer under the eye and then a light dusting of setting powder and it lasts all day.
The fact they have more shades that some other brands that qvc stock is great also. I love this set, Bobbi brown is sheer quality in my opinion.
I love this foundation. First the color range is so amazing. I use different shades to gently sculpt and highlight my face into having less severe angles as I age. The porcelain is great for highlighting the tip of the nose, the cupids bow, the cheekbones, and the center of the face, to draw more attention there.
Without using contour or shimmery highligh, my face looks fresher. The portability is perfect. It is a long lasting tube, and the wearability throughout the day is tenacious. It doesn’t crease or look dry with proper moisturization.
I can wear it super sheer or build it up for skin perfection. I learned from a BB stylist on youtube to draw the stick on to my fingertips and warm the product, then press onto my moisturized skin. Then either blend out with fingertips or a flat top brush (moving in circles with the brush).
It sheers out beautifully and people always comment on my amazing complexion when I use a bit of the foundation. They don’t “see” the foundation. Be careful, as you can think it is not building up quickly, but it is.
If you are more mature, use less and make sure you are near natural light to see what’s really going on your face!.
Even better makeup spf15 by clinique 30 ml lightweight makeup with adjustable coverage from light to medium, which provides an immediate and very trendy luminosity, providing treatment benefits over time.
It unifies skin tone, increases luminosity and visibly reduces the appearance of dark spots. Apply a small amount starting in the center of the face and blurring outwards using a makeup brush or fingertips.
Blur the edges well and create the desired coverage. Continue to apply powders if additional coverage is desired. Remove the product using make-up removers. Expert trick: want extreme luminosity? mix the product with a few drops of clinique smart treatment oil.
Apply 2-3 drops directly to the skin before applying makeup or mix the oil with the moisturiser to create a juicy foundation before makeup. This technique is perfect for dry skin.

I prefer a light, natural coverage makeup look and I am so happy to have found this foundation. I was previously using another brand of makeup`s BB cream for years and it was just starting to make me breakout and started looking oily on my face.
I did a lot of searching for lightwear foundations. As I have horrible allergies and so many products out there contain way too many ingredients and way too much on the sunscreen side, trying to find a new makeup can be discouraging.
However, this foundation is such an improvement for me in just a few days! My skin feels better, looks better and brighter and I am now even wondering if something in my other makeup was irritating my nasal allergies as after switching to this, I feel like my allergies seem a little better too! I thought I might need a primer switching to foundation but this foundation wears great on its own and with a little setting powder to finish.
Thank you Revlon for such a great product! This is a keeper and please don’t change it as its perfect as it is! This is now my new daily makeup!.
Revlon PhotoReady Candid is a light-weight cream foundation that glides on my skin like a moisturiser and blends evenly to give me a natural, dewy glow. It provides a light to medium coverage but builds nicely for a fuller coverage when I needed it.
I found I only needed a little over a pea size amount to cover my face, so it lasts a long time. It layered well with my other skincare products, and I didn’t experience any piling. I found applying a setting powder over the top helped to extend its longevity provided more of a matte finish to eliminate shine build up thorough out the day.
It come in a pump tube that makes for easy, mess free dispensing.
Tried it on a whim but it punches so far about its weight it’s a keeper for sure. And for the price!! It’s bonkers. Can’t believe that a) I stumbled across it accidentally and b) it’s only in my late 30s that I’ve found something so good.
Light to medium coverage, doesn’t settle into pores or dry my skin out, lasts. as long as I need it to I guess but I’m hardly a party animal. I will be devastated if they discontinue it. Ooh, and the colour! Literally a perfect match to my face and that’s tough cos I’m ginger and 2 shades darker than see-through.
This unique powder foundation has a creamy texture that creates a flawless, matte finish. Featuring FlexMatte technology, the formula moves with your skin for ultimate comfort and weightless coverage you can build to your preferred level—it doesn’t crack, cake, or feel suffocating.
It’s an ideal mix of buildable and breathable, lightweight and long-wearing, natural and matte.
This foundation looks amazing on me and I don’t really have any complaints except that it emphasizes my dry patches. It also emphasizes the pores. I’m giving it 4 stars because I’ve tried other foundations that look horrible on me and this does not.
I recommend it if you don’t have dry patches. Go a few shades lighter than you normally would as this does oxidize. I also wish this had refillable packaging as I would probably repurchase this again.
If you don’t use a pore filling primer then maybe skip this but I’m planning on doing that myself. And I think from far away, no one really cares about pores. I’ve tried Fenty and cover fx foundations that look worse on my skin so I’m giving this a better rating.
I don’t want to rag on the formula too much because I only used this powder twice. Firstly, the powder really emphasized texture and dry spots. I have good skin and no breakouts, and this powder made my skin look awful.
If you have texture I’d avoid. Secondly, and more importantly, DO NOT BUY UNTIL YOU HAVE COLOUR MATCHED. The photos are not at all representative of the powder shade. My skin is the shade of uncooked chicken, and I bought the 22 cool beige to use as a subtle contour.
It is literally a good match for my pale skin. Which is surprising because the photo depicted it as being more medium toned. So I’d suggest only buying this if you’ve colour matched in person. Lastly- I don’t know if I received a faulty component but it didn’t close shut firmly.
I bought 2 shades: warm tan and peach tan. When I checked out the samples at the store, both shades seemed to look fine on my wrist under their store lighting. I left them in my dashboard and totally forgot I purchased them until few months later.
Anyways, I used the ‘warm tan’ first and realized that it oxidized terribly. So I tried the other shade ‘peach tan’ and it did the same. After 20 minutes they changed to a darker shade. It’s too late to return or exchange, now it’s just stashed in the drawer.
What a waste of $50. So disappointing. Had no idea this powder oxidized so bad.
The Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue range foundation is a magical tool in anyone’s make up tool kit. Hydra Rescue is a lightweight moisturising liquid that is breathable, skin loving and long lasting, with the make up giving around 12 hours of radiant glow.
It’d formulated with Chai seed extracts, Probiotic technology and IonCharged water to be extra gentle on the skin, hydrating and giving SPF 45 level protection. Not only is it great for the skin’s health but it’s also amazing for the look of skin, rescuing the skin’s appearance with incredible hydrating qualities and the ability to be built on whilst remaining breathable.
Coming in a staggering 28 shades there is Hydra Rescue for every skin tone.
Add the illusion of radiance and luminosity to your skin, with Shiseido’s ‘Synchro’ foundation. Lightweight and with an airy texture, the foundation is able to glide across your base, leaving a discreet veil that does not appear heavy or cakey.
The full-to-medium coverage foundation offers a buildable formula, allowing you to go from dewy girl-next-door to party-ready in seconds, while SPF30 shields you from the harsh rays of the sun. The look of fine lines and wrinkles is minimised, allowing your complexion to appear plumper and firmer. Perfect for people prone to dry skin, as a potent blend of Humectants assists with drawing moisture towards your visage, locking it in for long-lasting, touchable softness.
Invigorating Mandarin Peel extract offers the appearance of brightness, allowing you to embrace the look of a gleaming, lit-from-within glow.
I’ve been wearing Make Up Forever HD foundation for over 12 years and they recently changed the formula which is nothing similar to the original. The color match was also off and leaned on the orange side and the finish was matte.
I was sooooooooooooooooo sad and have been stressed out for literally a month trying to find something similar in foundation color and finish. I tried Lancôme Tiente Idol, Nars Light Reflecting, the new Make Up Forever, Make Up Forever Reboot, Dior Glow Foundation and I did not like any of those foundations as the color match was never right and the finish wasn’t as “naturally radiant” as I liked.
UNTIL, I stumbled on this foundation!!!!WOWWWWWWWWWWW just wowwwwwwww!! This is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect radiant skin like finish that definitely had medium to full FULL coverage. I wore this foundation for over 12 hours and I wore it to the gym and at the end of my day, it still looks freshly applied and looks beautiful on the skin.
It literally melts with your skin and feels light as air. If you are looking for a long wearing radiant skin like foundation, look no further. THIS IS THE ONE FOUNDATION YOU MUST TRY!!!!! It does rub off a little when you are sweating which I don’t kind, it still looks beautiful when you are sweating as does not streak or cake whatsoever.
I am in LOVE!! Thank you SHISEIDO. FYI, I have minor post acne marks and large pores and this foundation covered it beautifully.
Just discovered this foundation from seeing a recommendation from Taylor Wynn’s video last year, but unfortunately couldn’t get my shade at Sephora because it’s sold out. Kinda scared that this foundation is on sale and sold out so much everywhere, it seems like it’s getting discontinued? I had to get my shade at another retailer, but oh my goodness.
Beautiful foundation, even in the heat of Houston summer at its peak now. Even 1st foundation (especially a radiant one), I feel like powdering on top would ruin the beauty of its work. I’m combo dry, definitely more dry in winter, but pretty oily now with rare dry spots.
I still use mattifying primers underneath (tatcha liquid silk and supergoop unseen spf), and just 1. 5 pumps is enough to cover my entire face. Super high coverage even with a damp sponge. Shade 310 silk matches my body, but not my neck entirely, still great for a summer shade, just needs a shade down maybe.
Been wearing it for a couple days, and it doesn’t get crazy oily after 6-8 hrs, and looks pretty fresh even after. Love this so much, so much more than the original synchro foundation. Hopefully it’s not getting discontinued!!!.
This is one of the best foundations I’ve ever tried. It is very lightweight and has natural radiant finish and medium coverage that can easily be build up to full without looking caking. It does not settle into fine lines or creases.
It makes my skin feel hydrated, blurs pores, and it also gives me some subtle lifting aspect. I have combination, acne-prone skin and this foundation does not make my skin feel oily or cause me any break outs.
It is easy to blend and apply. One pump is just enough to cover my whole face, so I think this bottle will last me a long time. When the light reflects into the bottle I can see some subtle sparkling particles within the foundation.
But these particles disappear when applying the foundation to skin. They are not noticeable on skin at all. I bought the shade 160 (shell) which is a perfect match for my skin tone (for comparison purposes, I am MAC Fix Fluid Studio NC18, Dior Forever Matte 1W, Guerlain L’essentiel 2N, Essence Pretty Natural 70).
I definitely recommend this foundation for people with dry to combination skin.
Laura Mercier Lumière Foundation – a luminous liquid foundation with 15 hours of hydration and weightless medium to full coverage. Vitamin C boosts skin’s luminosity, revealing brighter, clearer and more even toned skin over time – so even without makeup, your skin is naturally luminous.
Skin appears more even and the appearance of dark spots are reduced after 4 weeks of use. Provides 15 hours of moisturisation to visibly smooth and soften skin. Powered by Silver Ear Mushroom Extract to hydrate and smooth skin instantly, for maximum skin comfort.
Replenishes skin while softening the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The weightless medium to full coverage formula looks and feels like a second skin. Flexible polymers melt into skin to create a long-wearing comfortable second skin and colour-true pigments resist oxidation.
Fragrance-free, sulphate-free. Ideal for all skin types, especially normal to dry.
This is a tricky product to get right and so it was a disappointment when it still wasn’t all that great. The coverage is sheer to medium – but be careful trying to build it up too much because it starts to look cakey/makeup-y when you do.
You’re better off leaving it sheer and touching up any trouble spots with concealer than trying to build the coverage with this. The finish is beautiful and luminous – but doesn’t last at all. I tried it with and without primer (Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Protecting primer) and I also tried it with All Nighter setting spray (again, with and without primer) but nothing gave it any staying power.
It broke up within 3-4 hours in every case. I will say that the color descriptions are spot on. I have medium neutral skin and the shade that’s described as medium with neutral undertones – 3N2 – was a near perfect match.
One other note – it did not play well with my Elta MD sunscreen AT ALL. The day I applied over the Elta MD, this foundation took on an almost paste-like consistency and it never set up. I’ve never had that happen with that sunscreen before.
2 stars because of the good color match and the pretty luminous finish, but it was a fail for me in every other way.
Last Saturday I thought I’d go into Mecca and see what foundations I could sample. I explained the finish I was looking for and was matched with this foundation knowing full well it’d cost and arm and leg to purchase.
I have to say holy wow! I was matched with the lightest colour due to being the almost translucent person that I am and holy heck! I’ve worn every brand of foundation under the sun since the age of 18 and nothing compares to this.
The lightest colour is very deceiving as it is the oddest orange colour in the bottle but once applied it’s fantastic and a perfect match for my freckled face. The texture is very fine to the point where it just looks like second skin but a fair better version! I wear glasses to work and usually other foundation lift off my face around the nose because of my glasses but this foundation surprisingly stayed in place!! I must say I’ve very impressed by this foundation, and once I’ve finished my sample I will definitely be buying the bottle and probably sticking to this foundation for quite some time!! Buy it ladies!.
What I was looking for: Light weight, buildable foundation with delicate glow. As someone with light, neutral/yellow skin tone overall, but a lot of redness in my face, color is fairly important. Color: The light warm range (2W1 and 2W1.
5) has a nice golden undertone without a lot of pick which makes it come across more true neutral golden instead of bright yellow or bright peach which can happen with other “warm” shades with other brands.
-> I originally tried the 2W1. 5 Bisque shade, but it was slightly too dark and the oxidized like crazy into a weird orange tint. When I switched to 2W1, it was just a touch lighter and for some reason did not suffer from the same oxidization problem.
Maybe it was a fluke of batches, but this seems to be a noticeable risk with LM products nowadays. Coverage: Medium. A slight amount of my redness still peaks through, but I don’t reach for this for full mask-level coverage.
It still gives a nice overall evenness of color and texture. Texture – Application: At first, I struggled to make this foundation work. Part of the struggle was being a brush-application novice. The Beauty Blender application was always nice and thin and even, but more sheer than I wanted.
With a brush, I was finding that too much product caused streaking and pushing instead of blending into the skin. With practice, I found that thin applications of just a little bit of product worked better for this foundation, where ever layer gets the chance to melt into the skin and previous layers.
It’s effective but requires patience. Texture – Finish: I love the finish. It’s satin, not overly dewy. I get a little bit oily throughout they day, but it actually makes the finish ever prettier. If you’re more oily, it might push those bounds, but I find blotting and light powdering gives a nice touch-up.
Overall: It doesn’t yet feel like “the one” but it’s solid and I feel confident that I have a foundation I can always rely on.
A first-of-its-kind hydrating longwear foundation that delivers it all, with comfortable medium to full coverage, serious staying power, and natural finish perfect for normal to dry skin—all in a groundbreaking range of shades.
I bought this off the Fenty Beauty site because it was half off, and the original Soft Matte really didn’t work for me, but the color match wasn’t bad. I got shade 145, but since I can’t review that shade, I chose the 480 option.
I have combination skin that gets very oily on my forehead and t-zone, and I have some dry patches on my cheeks. This foundation might be one of if not THE WORST foundation I’ve ever tried. It never fully blended down and remained streaky, even with both brush and sponge.
It pilled on itself at my temples and made this gross gunky line. It separated on my forehead and melted down onto my eyebrows, making my brow hair look gross. But the worst part was how horribly it clung to ANY dryness.
It emphasized dryness I didn’t even know I had?? It straight up made the corners of my mouth and my chin CRUSTY. I was actually laughing because of how bad I looked–you know how in deserts, the parched ground cracks in large patches, with a flaky top layer of dirt? Yeah, my skin looked like that.
I tried to save it with Romand’s blurring powder (made it even worse, lol) and Iconic London’s Prep Set Glow spray, which helped a little, but even then the way it looked was so much worse than any other foundation I had ever put on my face.
I don’t understand what kind of skin type this is made for. The Soft Matte was too drying on my skin and emphasized my dry patches too, but this “Hydrating” one was far worse at that. I can’t imagine this looking good on someone who has dry skin everywhere, but then how would it look good on someone with oily skin when it separated so bad? I am confused.
Clearly it works for some people, and that’s great, but. how? I don’t think I’m going to try Fenty complexion products in the future, since both foundations were fails for me. Thanks for the sand golem look and the laughs tho.
I am not sure why more shades aren’t showing up for me to review, so I just had to pick one to write this. I purchased this in a very neutral, fair shade- one of the lighter options offered. I appreciate what Fenty has done as a whole for makeup so I decided to try this out when my usual foundation was not available in-store one day, and truly, this is the absolute worst foundation I have ever used.
I had to make an account just to write this review. It is just awful. Please do not ever buy this, I gave one star because that’s the lowest I could rate it. My skin has never looked worse. It does not blend at all and it makes sure you can see every single dry bit of skin or every wrinkle.
Even if I did manage to get it to look somewhat decent upon application, within about an hour all of it was just disintegrating off my face and getting patchy, like visibly patchy. Since I have been using this for about a week or two, my face has broken out in the worst acne I have had since I was a teenager.
I look like a monster and am embarrassed to show my face in public, truly. I am trying to use it up because I hate the thought of wasting a whole product and my money, but it’s really hard. Wearing it is just a terrible experience and I cannot wait to be able to use literally any other foundation.
I will say, I did not have this bad of an experience with the original Fenty foundation, so stick to that one if you like the brand, but please, whatever you do in your life, do not buy this. You will regret it.
Best way for me to apply it so it looks nice and not cakey is one pump with a dry beauty sponge. Let that layer dry before adding another layer (1 pump) if you want full coverage. One pump gives me a solid medium coverage.
I usually only apply the 2nd layer as a spot concealer over my hyperpigmentation. I usually don’t use a primer because it’s not needed, but I do let a moisturizer sink in for a while before applying the Fenty.
I set with Covergirl blurring translucent powder. Any setting spray seems to work. The formula has a slightly dewy finish over my dry skin. It’s not shiny. It makes my skin look. healthy. I have wrinkles and texture but it looks good on me when I apply it like I do.
Accuracy of shade match- I’m light with a strong cool red undertone. This 200 Cool foundation leans a little more neutral than I’d usually pick, but it’s absolutely not yellow or orange. Other matching shades for me are Beauty Blender 1.
20, KVD Shake in 118, and Covergirl/Olay 3 in 1 in 220. Once you find a good way to apply it for your skin type, it looks amazing. I bought several more because it was on sale so I’ll have backups. I’m really picky about foundations.
It usually takes me several application attempts before I think it looks good enough to wear in public. I’ve read the other reviews here, and most of the negative reviews mention something I faced at some point.
All I can say is to be patient and open to changing your usual application routine until you find what works best. Oh, the longevity- it lasted 9 hours just fine. I haven’t worn it longer than that yet.
Imagine having skin that looks and feels beautiful and all you did was apply your moisturizer! Bye Bye Foundation is the first-ever full-coverage moisturizer from IT Cosmetics! Formulated with IT’s most advanced complex, Bye Bye Foundation is designed to deliver hydration as your moisturizer, perfect the look of your skin as your full-coverage, and protect your skin with SPF 50 sunscreen.

You can use on bare skin as your moisturizer, or on top of your skin care. You don’t need to use a separate foundation or concealer!.
I love this product. I’ve tried many foundations and feel confident to be able to leave this honest review, let me tell you. I often times found myself with a foundation that was to heavy, or left me looking like a clown , because it was so obvious that I was wearing it due to caked on appearance despite my application being a light one.
Also have you ever worn foundation and it make you feel sweaty as in your skin couldn’t breathe? Those are the worst! This one does NONE of these things! I couldn’t even feel it once I applied it. It gave me wonderful coverage and natural appearance.
Felt lightweight, Blended beautifully, Easily glides on with sponge, brush or fingers. Best part is that a little goes a long way. I can’t even come up with one negative about it. Color matching was spot on for me as well.
I looked online and bought it without ever trying it out first and it was a perfect match. I’m not sure if it is still around forty dollars or not, however if so, it’s worth it. In this case you do get what you pay for.
This product is the one It Cosmetic that is a DAILY MUST HAVE for me. I have tried every item It makes nearly and all the lines of cosmetics on qvc and also in high end cosmetic stores. For me, this lasts from morning to night,no matter what I do.
It just leaves me looking finished, not caked or covered, just a lovely medium coverage that blurs every imperfection and covers what flaws needed. I have normal to dry skin and I do have to use Dr. Denese HYDROSHIELD SERUM daily (a cannot live without product for antiaging and moisture retention) as soon as I get out of shower, then a few drops of Josie Maran Argan oil or Argan Milk drops.
The only other thing I use is this wonderful foundation and then blush and a light dusting of It Cosmetics powder or Laura Geller baked powder to set it. I do not have time for fussy overdone makeup look, but I do like to look a bit refined and finished and tony bit glowing, thanks to this product and the others.
I finish with Lancome Defincils mascara and go all day or night. I get the huge size in TAN. I am a medium caucasion skin tone with brown hair and I tan easily, although the tan seems a tad dark for me for winter, it blends beautifully and make sure to blend most at neckline and under chin and it makes one look sort of flawless and gives me a little oomph, as the lighter colors that match my skin tone perfectly tend to make me look washed out and older and I have tried and kept and used medium, med tan, neutral tan, and more but tan is best for me.
I hope this helps someone and BLESSINGS! HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!.
Finally! A foundation that works for older women!!! I have been using this for well over a year. I am 73 and have always had dry skin to the extent that I never had much acne as a teenager. Foundation usually looked horrid on me when young and even worse when older as it settled in my wrinkles and made me look really bad.
For years I didn’t use foundation due to this. Then I found tinted moisturizer but the coverage was poor. So I thought there MUST be a foundation that is oil based with good coverage and with this product I found it! I also have some sun damage on my skin and can build this to cover it!!! I am so thrilled to use this! It does go on better with the brush but as a creature of habit I usually use my fingers.
Try this if you have dry skin and/or wrinkles. You will LOVE it! It’s worth every penny.

A gorgeous colour specialist at Mecca Highpoint recommended this absolute gem of a product to me, and I will be forever grateful. I know that sounds a little loopy lol, but hear me out – I went in needing a product that I wasn’t even sure existed, especially in my impossible shade and tone (ultra, extremely, fairest of the fair, usually impossible to find a match that doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing someone else’s face!).
I needed a texture like The Ordinary Serum Foundation (which definitely doesn’t have a shade for me); very light, highly fluid, easily spreadable, buildable, hydrating yet with a velvety dry-down. Oh, and as if that weren’t enough, I needed it to have decent wear time, and feel like nothing on the skin, only giving away its presence by the fact that almost no one’s bare skin looks *that* good.
Impossible, right. ??? I thought so. But I braved the possibility of looking a little crazy and was led within moments of my arrival to the incredible human who immediately took me to see this very product.
Then proceeded to pick a colour on the spot, that was the best colour match I’ve ever experienced since around 15 years or more ago when Mecca used to offer the Prescriptives method of custom blended makeup.
This foundation is glorious and I will never use another. Set it with powder or not – the result is long wearing and polished to perfection, whether applying with fingers, brush or sponge (I prefer fingers, then I buff on a little translucent setting powder in the T-zone).
As ever, make sure to moisturise well and use your SPF (and let it absorb or settle) before applying these drops of joy. To the beauties that had concerns with the dropper – before you use this for the first time, wipe the dropper, and check that the hole of the dropper is clear (use a sterile pin or similar).
This will prep your dropper for trouble free use. Do yourself a favour dolls – try this out and fall in love with your reflection!.
I’m 43 and have oily Caucasian skin that’s ok if handled properly, but so prone to congestion if I use the wrong products. For example I’ve tried 20-30 primers and all have clogged my pores, irrespective of formulation.
I’d got to the point where my previous foundation was starting to settle into fine lines, but I needed full coverage because of dark circles and slightly uneven skin tone and some minor acne scarring on my cheeks.
Tried out SO MANY brands and then walked into Space NK pre-COVID to see if they had anything that could help me. Lovely Beth in the Cribbs Causeway branch recommended this hyaluronic foundation and I have been blown away.
I honestly don’t know how this formulation can even exist with all its different qualities – it’s plumping and smoothing without being clogging or in any way oily. it’s super-light but intensely pigmented.
and best of all, it’s really truly buildable! If you want more coverage you just slather more on, and it doesn’t flake or crumble. I hope they sell it forever because it gives the most beautiful, velvety, über-natural, semi-matt finish that somehow manages to be radiant at the same time – it makes me feel amazing.
The negative reviews I’ve seen have usually mentioned it ‘catching’ on skin, and I would say that you do need to be MILITANT about exfoliating before using it. The outstanding results I get with it are only possible if my skin is really well prepped.
I use Superdrug hot cloth cleanser, followed by exfoliation using Clinique Clarifying Lotion, then use Jurlique Activating Water Essence to moisturise, and then this foundation goes on like a dream. So to sum up, this foundation is the most expensive I’ve ever used, but I unhesitatingly recommend it – it’s well worth the money and a bottle lasts me months even using it every day.
I only have tried a sample so far, and I’m thinking I could find a better shade match for my skin, but I do really like this foundation. I used it with their hydra-primer, hydra-powder, dual-expert in ivory fair as a highlighter, and CC serum in sunny flash as a bronzer.
I was skeptical going into it because I had read bad reviews of this foundation, but I was pleasantly surprised. The foundation was easy to use, didn’t settle into my pores or fine lines, lasted throughout the day, and felt nice on.
It is expensive, so I’m not going to jump right up and run to buy it, but I will be looking out for it to go on sale, maybe for Black Friday or something. And, assuming I can determine my correct shade, buy it then.
I have honestly enjoyed everything I’ve tried from By Terry, and I’m looking forward to being able to try more.
Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy%2C L’Oreal Paris’ Infallible Pro Glow Foundation is a long lasting foundation that goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts.
Hydrating foundation has medium coverage and instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. This luminous foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.
This is a medium coverage foundation that you can build up or turn it into more of a tinted moisturiser just by adding 1-2 pumps of moisturiser into the foundation before applying. It has great wear time does sit well under translucent powder, especially if you wanted to customise the glow for oily skin types for example.
Lovely hydrating formula perfect for normal to dry skin. It blends in incredibly easy sits well under cream blushes bronzers. Convenient packaging for travel touch ups. I apply this with a sponge but hands or brushes all work well for this.
This is water resistant formula however, under very warm conditions or if you are prone to perspiration you think you may need to touch up during the day I’d advise not setting with a powder as the powder once set into the skin might make touch ups not look as flawless could lift the powder underneath.
Leaves a lovely healthy glow at drugstore prices. Definitely recommend.
I’m pleasantly surprised by this foundation. As an oily/combo skin girl, I usually gravitate towards the matte options for fear of looking like an oil slick. However, as I’m getting older I notice my skin is changing a bit.
Matte foundations just end up looking cakey and separating on my skin after a while, so I decided to try a more hydrating foundation. I’m so glad I did, this wears beautifully! It is a very natural finish, covers imperfections, and is very long lasting (with me blotting once during the day).
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the shade range is terrible. I couldn’t find my exact shade and I have to use my own pigment mixers to fix the shade I bought. They need deeper shades as well.
More options for different undertones would be great. Overall, I’m glad I picked this up!.
This is my first drug store foundation, I have used it for about a year now and I have to say it has raised the bar for any foundation I will purchase in the future! I even decided to wear it to my high school graduation ceremony because this foundation is so versatile, you can do both “no makeup” looks and full glam with it.
It has an even, velvet finish and covers my pores without having to use any pore filling primer beforehand. It has buildable coverage and does not pill, considering I wear layers of SPF with it. What I love about this foundation is that there is a “glow from within”, some foundations tend to take away all of the natural tones in your skin, but with this foundation, I can skip the blush and highlighter if I’m in a rush.
It is not too heavy on the skin and, I’ve noticed others mention it to be too radiant, but that can easily be fixed with powder to your liking. This never leaves patchy spots on my skin and also lasts under masks for hours.
Create the perfect Nude Illusion with this on-the-go makeup essential. The formula delivers an undetectable, filtered finish that makes blemishes, redness and discoloration magically disappear, leaving behind a natural, radiant finish.
Medium to full buildable coverage. Designed in a tube with a doe-foot applicator made for multitasking: apply and blend all over as foundation, spot correct and conceal with the targeted doe-foot applicator, or sculpt a flawless highlight and contour.
Skincare-enriched with niacinamide to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and even skintone. Lotus extract helps to balance sebum production and improve the elasticity of skin. For sensitive skin, Wander Beauty recommends a patch test on the inner arm or neck prior to use.
If skin turns red, do not continue. Cruelty free. Gluten free. Dermatologist tested.
How to Use: To target imperfections, dab directly onto skin using the DOE foot applicator and blend. For fuller coverage, squeeze formula from tube and buff onto skin from the center of the face out. Good for 12 months once opened.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Do not use on skin that is irritated, broken, or sunburned. If irritation develops, discontinue use immediately.
Reviews From Real Customers
I gave it four stars mostly because it does what it claims to do and what I purchased it for, covering spots! As a total face make up… I would give it two stars… Much to dry and hard to apply… But works great for coloring a random spots.
I am 68 and have pretty good skin not too many wrinkles, but I have four or five noticeable brown spots on my forehead. I’ve tried to other products before finding this one by wander. This one covers the best… But I need to stress I only use it on the brown spots.
It is not a make up I would choose to use all over my face. I have tried putting it on first and covering with my make up of choice, But the covering process seems to be much better if I apply it on top lightly… And sort of pat and feather it with a make up brush.
The color I chose is a little lighter than I would like but better light than too dark. One thing I really do not like about this product is the little spongy stick applicator! It does work pretty well if you’re just covering spots like I do… But this make up is surprisingly thin for the amount of coverage it supplies… And pulling the applicator out almost 100% possible it’s going to splash on whatever you are wearing! So much so that I now take precautions every time I use it.
Everything that I’ve personally tried from Wander beauty has been great so far and this foundation is no different. One of the downsides however is the shade range I am one of those In between shades people and so I had to buy both fair and light shades to be able to mix them and create my own shade.
That being said this foundation applies beautifully and blends like a dream. The wear time isn’t long, it did hold up for 8 hours but that was in a situation where I was just hanging out with a friend and not doing much this would definitely not hold up for a whole work day for me.
I think it really depends more on your prep and your setting spray. That being said I conditionally recommend this because as I’ve said it does apply beautifully but for me it’s more about wear time because if I’m putting it on in the morning I need it to last me throughout the day and at my job I don’t have time for touch ups.
I have a HG foundation already but I am always on the hunt for a new one but unfortunately this was not it.
A new generation skin care foundation with buildable coverage for an instantly flawless, natural result and an even more beautiful skin, day after day. Comes in a wide array of shades to color match all yellow, pink & neutral undertones.
I have been looking for a new foundation that would work on mature, dry skin. Something that would look like skin but still give up to medium coverage. I saw a YouTube video that mentioned this one. The price point is great and so many shades to choose from.
I used the shade finder and it found me a perfect match for my skin. One complaint. the color swatches it showed me were not very accurate. I found them to be darker than they should be. I went by the written description.
This foundation is lovely. It glides over my pores and fine lines. It feels weightless to me. It works beautifully on dry skin but it’s not heavy with moisturizing ingredients. No fragrance. It dries nicely but I always lightly powder certain areas to help any foundation set.
I haven’t seen any oxidation in the color. I find it wears all day without added primer or setting spray under normal conditions. Hot, humid weather creatures issues for any makeup so use whatever you like to help it along.
I am extremely pleased and impressed. Good Job, Sephora!.

This foundation corrects your skin tone and delivers a natural, flawless finish. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles, blemishes, pigmentation, scars and dark spots. It also protects your skin from sun-caused ageing.
Upon application, it blends smoothly to create an invisible texture that feels comfortable all day long.
This foundation is phenomenal. I’ve been on a quest to replace my old stand-by (Nars Sheer Glow in Gobi) after realizing it was breaking me out. It was incredibly hard to find a shade match that actually worked.
Even harder — finding a foundation with a natural finish (not matte) without the emollient ingredients that cause problems for my skin. Seriously, I was starting to think no such product existed! This goes on smooth applied with either a brush or beauty blender and does not break up or oxidize.
I love applying it over my colorescience classic sunscreen, which is the perfect primer for this type of foundation. It is buildable, but I prefer one layer for medium coverage. And it has just enough emollient properties to feel radiant and comfortable on the skin (no tight, weird matte finish here).
I am in love. Please don’t ever change the formula!!.
I like the Sephora Collection Foundation. It performs very well for a good price. I prefer it to many more expensive foundations. In order to get the right color for different lighting (Zoom, In-person Daylight, In-person Nighttime) I use a few different colors.
16 Light Linen is one I buy on repeat. This time it was a different shade than the Light Linen I have always used and I still have some left so it was easy to compare what my eyes already registered.
Not just slightly but very obviously different. More “cool, even greyish” compared to the warm, peachy-yellow tone of the original (which I have bought many bottles of. ) I’m disappointed. Hesitant to order again.
I don’t have time to shop in person any more in order to see if this was a one-off. :(.
Although I am light skinned, I have unbelievable problems with foundations. Either too light or dark. Most cast grey or orangey. No matter what most say, they are pretty drying to my skin which is already dry.
I am 67 and luckily don’t have many wrinkles but do have some sun spots especially on my forehead with a dry patch. I am not near any stores and the cost of a cab is prohibitive. I decided to try these things as a bday gift for myself.
This color is pure perfection. It feels so light. Absolutely no creasing or getting in lines/pores; something of utmost importance for a mature (ok. old) age !!! Brings back a look to my face that I had in my 30’s.
Sephora has outdone itself on this one. Leaves your skin soft and gorgeous. Perfection in a foundation. I hear they want to discontinue this product Sephora, PLEASE. NEVER DISCONTINUE THIS FANTASTIC PRODUCT !!!.

I’m really surprised how much I like this. and really surprised by how many negative reviews. I received this in my last Sephora order as a sample. I finally got around to trying it on a day I knew I’d be home the whole day because I knew even the lightest color in the sample would be too dark but I wanted to test out the texture and wear time.
The moment I applied it I thought it went on really gorgeously. True medium coverage and really lovely natural to slightly dewy finish (but not at all oily looking. ) Didn’t cake into any of my fine lines or nose pores (90% of foundation look AWFUL on my nose no matter what I do.
) So I decided to look at the review here to see what people are saying and was surprised by some of the negative comments. So I thought well maybe I have to wait a few hours and it will look terrible then.
But it never did, even 10 hours later, it still looked pretty darn good! It faded a bit (but everything fades on me) but it never settled into anything like how some foundation fade mid day. So I will definitely be buying a full size when I’m out of my current foundation, just in a much lighter shade!.
This foundation is fantastic and totally exceeded my expectations. Previously used drugstore foundations because they are cheaper but usually never 100% satisfied with the product. This, however, was a perfect shade match and is the coverage I’m looking for without having to cake it on.
A little goes a long way and a bottle should last me and month or two. I also appreciate the fact that this product comes SEALED. I honestly quit purchasing most drugstore foundations because of the “what it someone had their finger in it” scenario.
Thank you Sephora for always providing a quality product!.
Blur imperfections seamlessly and control shine for up to 10 hours with this satin-finish foundation. The weightless, micro-fine pigments of InstaBlend technology ensure color lays down smooth and seamless, so you can build to your desired coverage levelfrom light to fullfor a flawless look every time.
When I read that this was a dupe for Dior, naturally, I wanted to try it. NOTE: this is not a true dupe. They have two things in common: both spray and both blur imperfections. That’s where the similarities end.
I am generally a straight down the middle Fair girl with neutral undertones. In the winter, this is still a true statement however, I find that I lean slightly pink (making me a neutral undertone leaning pink).
The color match was my first challenge. This shade of Fair-Light with Neutral undertones runs more yellow and less neutral. I can still make it work. I suspect that the next shade up (light with pink undertones) would have worked better for me.
I recommend using a brush and not spraying directly on your face – that way you have more control in how the product is spread across your face. The finish is very nice – natural which makes it not matte and not dewy.
I have dry skin so I always prep the heck out of my skin regardless of what foundation I use. The coverage is a true medium. It does play well with almost all other product types (creams and powders).
The key is to let it dry/settle for a good 5 minutes before you start adding blush and any other products. I mostly use cream blush, cream contour and powder bronzer. I also never set my face with powder.
Yes, you could get away with using this to conceal (an all in 1 product) however because this leaned more yellow for me, I used a different under eye concealer to brighten. No scent that I can detect which is a positive.
As everyone else has mentioned, the biggest challenge is the nozzle. It will eventually clog if you don’t take care of it after every use. I use an alcohol wipe and that prevents the issue. While this has just a tiny bit more product in it (2.
3 Oz compared to Dior 2. 5 Oz) it may seem like you go through this faster if you’re trying to get the same coverage. Dior coverage is Full with a Radiant Finish. The Sephora foundation is medium with a natural finish.
I am 42, with a few fine lines and lots of freckles. I have always dislike liquid foundations because it doesn’t matter how natural or radiant they claim to be, they still look too heavy and accentuate my fine lines, specially around my mouth.
Lately I have been distancing myself from powder products like brush, bronzer, contour- because they just make my skin super thick and look horrible. I saw an influencer review of the Dior Airflash foundation and I love how natural it looked.
However, the price point is too ridiculous for me to try. I just wanted some light coverage that doesn’t feel heavy and leaves a natural finish. I don’t know why I never tried this before! I am in love! super light and natural.
I use the supergoop glowscreen to get a radiant finish. I have normal skin that tends to get oily in the T zone sometimes so I just apply loose powder to fix it if needed. The only down side would be that it doen’t seem to have much product in it so I may have to go with the subscribe and save option so I don’t run out.
Initially I was blown away. It applied so beautifully. It layered perfectly over my skincare and sunscreen, worked great with my other products and looked flawless. About an hour into wearing it however, I was mortified.
It started breaking up and beginning SO patchy. I thought I needed to prep my skin better. I checked my primer and skincare to make sure it was all going to work together and it seemed fine? So I tried using it with no primer, less prep, bare minimum skincare and it worked a little better, but it still broke up on my face?!! I tried different methods of application ie using a brush, beauty blender, my fingers.
I feel like I’ve given this thing every chance to work and it let me down regardless, just like my ex. I do like it for spot treating my chest and legs for short periods it’s great.
Veiling the skin in a radiant glow, MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Reboot Active Care Revitalizing Foundation is a light-to-medium coverage formula that seeks to provide up to 24 hours of wear. Available in 28 shades, the hydrating foundation helps to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while working to leave the skin feeling firmer and plumped with moisture.
The makeup-skincare hybrid nourishes the complexion with an intensely moisturising blend of glycerin and beeswax. Ideal for normal to dry skin types, the foundation promotes a brighter, plumper finish.
I kind of changed upon this just by scrolling. I was going to buy the new Charlotte Tilbury and I saw this and I read the one review. The colour chart was pretty scary and so I tried to go on their website and find a colour chart.
I’m lucky as I’m half Italian and speak French so could use the Italian or French site but beware there doesn’t seem to be an English website. My complaint is it’s very very hard to find your shade match.
I did pick my exact right match but this was possibly down to fortune rather than perfect judgement. However knowing that it is the exact shade of my skin I have to say it is the best foundation I have ever used and I have used a lot A LOT of the most premium and expensive foundations out there.
I’m fortunate to have very youthful skin but I am over 40 so wanted a foundation that provided all the characteristics that this did, but was not at all heavy or Cakey. Literally I wanted my skin but better.
At 45 I was absolutely thrilled when out with my 32 year old fiancée and someone believed I was younger than him. Made my day! I use with the ultra HD self setting concealer for under the eyes and apply with a brush.
Once is plenty but it’s very buildable if you like more of a finish. I think it would suit any age skin but if you have scars or blemishes you would need to use concealer as well, as the finish is not full coverage.
Can honestly say this is by far the most superior foundation ever and my skin is grateful I bought it.
Everything this foundation claims to do, it 100% does. And it does it so well. My skin is dry and flakey, so my foundation usually gets really streaky only an hour after application no matter how well I set it.
The flakey and uneven parts of my skin always end up being emphasized and I look worse with foundation on than without. It’s extremely frustrating and I came to accept that this would just be a lifelong issue for me.
I’ve spent so much money on luxury brand foundations in hopes of a miracle… Dior, Armani Beauty, YSL, etc. Let me tell you, this one is the only one that has blown me away! My skin is glowing and dewy after application.
It feels moisturized from the second I apply until I take it off, and the product itself applies like a DREAM. I apply with a damp beauty blender and it’s wonderful. Little to no streaks or emphasized flakey skin with this.
The foundation is lightly scented but I love it. It has good longevity but fair warning: it does transfer rather easily so I recommend setting thoroughly if that will be an issue for you.
I literally pray MUFE never discontinues this formulation. I have never been so 100% satisfied with a foundation!! If you are over the age of 29 and have ANY complexion insecurities (uneven tone, fine lines, sun spots) this foundation will take them all away.
The most wonderful thing about this foundation is the smooth, flawless, consistent finish. Whether I have 5 minutes or 30 to get ready; my face just looks 100% radiant! Without a primer or even concealer I feel confident that my face looks rejuvenated, plumper and wonderfully hydrated… (does NOT leave skin oily/greasy or with any unsightly “highlighted” shimmer to compete with my other products) Offers a medium to full coverage; but feels sooooooo light and soft.
Absolutely no caking, never falls into creases (in fact – has a filling effect). Imagine the most beautiful foundation both in look and feel, that is exactly what Reboot delivers. Worth every penny!! It’s a 6 star holy grail! I have never used a foundation that exceeded expectations like this….
and I would never consider another foundation again…ever!.
