20 Best Selling Coloring Books For Adults (2023 Updated)

I hunted till I found one for 10. 50 with shipping but now that I have it, I would have paid the 20 dollars plus most people were asking for it. This is hilarious, better than the curse word coloring books by far.

It’s a riot and I’m having more fun than a Walmart shopper drinker wine out of a Pringles can.

I needed a good laugh, and this book made my day! Couldn’t stop laughing at how I’m SURE I’ve seen MOST of these folks here in Manteca, Ca! This book is GREAT stress relief and will have you “Rolling on the floor, as the character’s dignity goes out Wal-Mart’s door”! Lol.

Bought as a gift for an adult while we are under Covid-19 quarantine. It was a great hit for an adult who colors to relieve stress. As raunchy and tasteless as you might imagine.

Bought this for myself. Love the designs to colour. My 11 year old daughter really love the designs as well because she sneaks some papers from my book! The paper quality is so good if you colour with markers they don’t bleed through the back of the page.

I bought this book as a way to keep myself busy. There’s 80 pages. Some are very detailed, others are quick enough to finish in an hour. All nautical themed obviously. It was definitely worth the purchase and has lasted me a whole month.

I haven’t finished it yet. The paper is really thick so it’s suitable for markers or pencils.

Hello this book has been out a while so I already knew the complaints of some pic to tiny to color bla bla all the things she fixed in her next books but there where maybe only 4 of those pics and the paper quality is great.

The pics are fun over all a great coloring book. If you use markers that bleed just choose which side you like best because of the double sided pictures. I love it and will choose mediums that do not bleed.

Stunning book. Truly beautiful detailed pictures. A true delight. Perfect for any horror/zombie fans or anybody a bit different. I was not disappointed by this book, it was even more wonderful than I expected! Many hours of fun to be had with this.

Thick high quality paper, you can use felt tip pens without the ink sinking through to the other side of the page.

Its just what I wanted. Lines and drawings are great to color. Love the theme. High quality paper. Binding is great. Looking foward to buying other books from this series.

The pages are so intricate and you find so many amazing details within every drawing. This is a gift and she’s going to LOVE it!

I order alot of adult coloring books. Helps my stress level. This book was really fun to color. I would definitely recommend it.

The sayings are great but there are some inconsistencies with the dtawing outlines; some were a little thicker and easier to see but did not distract from the overall picture. Others were finer and more difficult to see; I had to look at the pictures several times to figure out what the sayings were, this also mad it more difficult for coloring as I am not good at keeping within the lines! Overall the book is a lovely idea.

It just needs to have more consistency.

It was an instant purchase for me. Having already owned the enchanted forest, this was perfect. There’s plenty of pages and variety to colour in! My only issue was that the books spine seems to have been damaged during delivery.

It arrived with a big dent in it! Other than that it’s a great product and I would recommend it to anyone that’s loves Warcraft and drawing!.

Nothing was damaged, it was exactly as offered, and the drawings were clear and recognizable.

The artwork is fairly true to the gaming activity, love it, as does my daughter and even her son

I was really looking forward to coloring in this book. When it came I was delighted with the artwork itself and the quality of the paper is quite good as well. The problem I found is with the printer ink and the fact that they printed on both sides of the page in this book.

The heavy ink transfers over to the opposite page and if I used pencils, which is what I prefer, the colors were transferred also. I take pride in my work so having it damaged this way is very disappointing.

This was the first adult coloring book I ever bought and I love it so much. The drawings are not overly complicated with a billion little things to color in which was what deterred from other adult coloring books.

The only complaint I have is that some of the designs are a little too simplistic so it only takes like 10 minutes and 3 colors to complete.

Pictures are fabulous to work with. Keep in mind this book is best used 4 pencils or paint pens as the pictures are both front and back of each page. Markers felt tip would probably bleed through. Outside of that one item I think the book is fantastic.

Very nice large and small details I have used, many brands colored pencils, prang brush pens, Sharpies, Crayola washable markers , gel pens ,different ink pens , markers And they all worked great! Pages are large and easy to tear out/ remove from book and they are thicker type paper.

I love the Psalms!. If your a Bible lover you will love this one! Great price too!.

Printed on good quality paper, mostly pages of full-size colourings, but also includes gift tags, cards and bookmarks. With Bible texts taken from the New International Version. Each page is punched, giving the option to be torn out of the book and cut up as appropriate.

I purchased this for a friend that is going though a rough time….she loved it and Gods words brought her some comfort.

Imagimorphia is a fabulous book. The imagetive imagery is amazing, along with the added search challenge. This was a gift to our 11 year old for her birthday and she loved it, as she had one of the other books in this range.

I would certainly recommend it.

This is the UK edition. I admire Kerby’s drawing. It’s strong and interesting. I found Animorphia really detailed when it came to the doodles. I’m pleased to see that this book has fewer spreads crowded with doodles.

The broader themes covered in this book are a plus too. There are still plenty of creatures but I do like the landscapes. Who will love it – those who look forward to anything new from Kerby, those who like colouring doodles, and those who like colouring strong, bold, imaginative images.

Kerby rosanes is an excellent illustrator, I adore his work and love colouring in his books, such intricate and pretty designs makes it fun to do! I have his full collection and would absolutely recommend anyone to buy one.

I bought this (for myself) as a gift & I am so glad I did! It has been very relaxing to just sit & work on these pages for a few moments. It’s fun to try & match the colors from the beautiful finished pictures to use as a guide.

I would recommend this for young & old.

Five stars for the shipper and Thomas kinkade is a wonderful artist! He has done beautiful work! However, the artwork in the book for coloring is way too detailed for me, just a beginner in coloring so I need to practice more on other books before I tackled these.

It’s an amazing coloring book! Each page surpasses the next. Love the scenery, just beautiful. You need good color pencils to color in because the paper is to thick. Love it because it gives you so many wonderful ideas and makes it easier so you can paint that picture on acrylic or oil painting on a canvas.

This book not only provides for a relaxing afternoon of coloring, but can also help with choosing colors and patterns for your own house. Adding color to beautiful, organized rooms helps with the chaos that is this year.

The pages are thick and resist bleeding, especially when using pens versus markers. Overall, a good book.

I love the drawings in the book, instead of the cutesy adolescent type ones or repetitive mandala patterns you can find in a lot of other adult coloring books. If you love getting lost in the details and dreaming up your own unique spaces- you’ll love this!.

I enjoy coloring. but coloring geometric images bores me. I love fashion and interior design coloring books. This book is one of my favorites. The designs are smart and sophisticated enough to intrigue anyone.

Okay. Nothing special. Looks like pictures from computer, not drawn by an artist. Cover deceiving. Pricey. Will buy other coloring books by artists, not Millie’s books.

I am the type of person that always has coloring books on hand for all my nieces and nephews and of course I am the cool aunt who sits at the kids table and colors with them. While it is nice to color a picture that takes you all of 5 minutes, it is so much better to be able to color a picture that has meaning and is able to for just an hour take away all your worries and stresses as you learn to shade and combine colors.

Just to watch a picture of a barn come to life in front of you. While it may sound childish, I will never give up my “adult” coloring books and this one is by far my favorite. This book in particular takes me back to my childhood when things were very simple and you knew that life was going to be great.

I treasure the time I take for myself everyday to unwind and watch these beautiful scenes come to life before my eyes.

It has nice pictures but not what I was looking for. I wanted more like the one on the cover and woods and ponds, etc. This book had too many barns, farm scenes and such. It stills deserves 5 stars and will make lots of customers happy, I am sure.

I do wish Walmart would let us see a few pages of the books , to make our choices less of a hit or miss purchase. Other sites give customers a peek inside. I ended up returning 2 of my purchases, but the process was quick and painless.

To anyone shopping for adult coloring books for the first time on line, Walmart does have a great variety of subjects and an extensive collection!.

Woo-hoo! Finally, a coloring book with scenery and animals to color! I got tired of the repetitious coloring books that had wallpaper-type patterns, stained glass and paisley designs, or nothing but flowers on the pages.

I wanted objects that I could use shading (of my own) without so much black ink from the artists pen. Now I can do sky, trees, animals, buildings, plants and flowers in a scene that I can do all of the shading myself.

Love this. Will buy more of this type of coloring book!.

Bought this as Christmas gift for my daughter whose name is the same as the author. She enjoys coloring as a way to relax in the evening. The pictures are for grown ups and not childish in any way. Highly recommend for any adult who likes art work!.

Johanna Badford books are beautiful and her Christmas book is no exception. In fact her’s is the only Christmas coloring book I own. many others being too juvenile for my taste. The first image I colored was of the tree with the 2 little birds and I used Prisma Premier colored pencils.

After that first page I switched to FC polychromos because of the paper and I was happier with my results after that. If you only buy one Christmas themed coloring book you can’t go wrong with this one.

Another beautiful book from Ms. Basford. I couldn’t wait to start colouring. The content subject is just as beautiful as you could possibly imagine. Christmas has a magical feeling and Ms. Basford has captured it wonderfully.

It is indeed a feast for the senses. Bravo once again!.

I have so enjoyed this book! It contains pictures of his painting that I can color. I am recovering from major surgery but can’t stand not doing art. This book fits that need so well. It calms me and allows healing to take place.

I would recommend this book for anyone who loves to color or paint and can’t get into the full deal yet. It has really kept the artistic mood going and makes me feel good. I also purchased ‘Bob Ross Wit and Wisdom’ book and enjoyed that as well.

My 77-year-old Mom loves the crossword puzzles from the daily newspaper but she sometimes gets frustrated when she can’t think of a word. I thought that she would enjoy a nice Bob Ross Coloring Book and some colored pencils to “talk her down” after a hard-earned puzzle victory.

We watched Bob Ross as a family when I was a kid and she also enjoys it for the sweet nostalgia.

I love Bob Ross and i love this book. The paper is quite thick and smooth great to use with pencils. It has quotes and pictures. It has line art with flowers and other landscapes. I love it and would reccomend it if you enjoy colouring books and Bob Ross.

The illustrations are gibberish. They don’t even go with stoner ideology or typical weed imagery. But the book WAS in brand new condition. Very confounding drawings to get published. I can’t explain what the illustrations are or what they have to do with being a stoner.

But it was less than 5 bucks so. meh.

Very beautiful book. Some designs are very complex while others are simple so its great for whatever mood me or my boyfriend might be in. Love it!

One small tidbit: Spend the money and buy the full size versions, you will not be disappointed! I did buy the pocket-sized 2nd cousin version first. Yeah, like a buck fifty (cool), traveled across the world for a month to the USA from China (wait.

) and, well, it was worth a whole dollar fifty (free shipping, thank goodness). The art work was there but the paper was newspaper, even colored pencils bled thru (not really, I didn’t try but you get the jist).

At any rate, it did pique my curiosity and there I was, 6 months later, with a little more cash. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG???? These ones are amazing! The paper is close to card stock, they are paperback but do have dust jackets and the coloring pages are each worth the time to make your kind of perfect.

Seriously. Buy all of them, I haven’t ordered the Christmas one yet but it’s next along with all the artist editions. The books even had me ordering better pens! Only gripe is the lack of perforated pages, I hate using a blade to cut the pages out.

So! Order this! Might wanna get those better pens/pencils and some laminating sheets too.

The quality of the paper that is to be colored is excellent. The ‘tooth’ of the paper stands strong and doesn’t collapse easily. The free shipping helped to increase the book’s value, which was already discounted because I bought it used.

I was surprised to find only two pages were colored on and those looked like a professional did them. I am very happy with this purchase. Oh yeah, I ordered the book on Saturday night and had it Tuesday morning – outstanding.

Another lovely colouring book by Johanna Basford. Very good paper for felt tip pens. I use Staedtler triplus pens which are very fine and also a thicker tip

I bought this for my mother. She has dementia but still enjoys coloring so much. She was a “farm girl” growing up and she loves the pictures in this coloring book!

I have hundreds of coloring books. This one was a nice addition. It’s a risk ordering a book not being able to view the pages, but this was a good risk. Love it.

Lots of funny color pages, there were a few kinda blah pages that don’t have cuss words or funny things on them. I like it but I wish they had more of the funny pages and less just artsy work. Still happy I purchased coloring book though.

Just because you put cuss words or catchy phrases does not make it a good buy. I was not impressed with the drawings at all. Some are over simple and not much challenge or artistic. It is OK but not at the top of my must have list.

For the cost, it should be better.

I looooooove to Colour …if you suffer with anxiety like me then getting an adukt colouring book is a great way to just calm down and relax i promise you your money will be well spent!

I bought this adult coloring book for my daughter, she likes to color as a stress relief activity. The scenes are a good challenge and fun.

I love this coloring book. It is very relaxing to do. The scenes are so exciting to complete. I also have Romantic Country Scenes .

This is a nice book, BUT. It needed more features. When the title “BEACH COTTAGES” caught my eye, I expected “Cottages on the Beach”. There are cottages but no where near enough of them on the beach.

Too many close ups with no beaches.

For the price of the book I was dissapointed at the quality of paper, its incredibly thin. The designs are great apart from a few lines either fading or not connecting. Quite dissapointed in this book due to the price as I can purchase a better quality one.

This book is so cool. I bought it for my friend for her birthday and she loves it. Not only is it covered in vulgar language, the pages are creative and beautiful. 10/10 would recommend
