Age: 4478976 years Features: New laser site developed by BUG-A-SALT for BUG-A-SALT. Easy to install, includes calibration tool & instructions. Three LR44 Batteries included. Complies with FDA performance standards.
I was able to sight it up well enough to be quite consistent. Only downsides are that it doesn’t attach super well, like it won’t slide off or anything but if you bump it, or drop the gun it will spin and possibly slide a little.
The adjustments to sight it in aren’t the best either, they work but can be hard to sight in. Since it’s just 2 screws that press up against the laser pointer you can’t adjust it by loosening the screws as they aren’t attached to the laser pointer itself, so once the laser is at default position the screw just threads out and the laser makes movement.
Other than that, this does help a lot in quick target acquisition, and makes hip fire so much easier.
I am glad I got it. I can be a lazy sharp-shooter with it. However, It needed major adjustment when I got it. Adjusting it seemed to want to damage the housing. I’m a retired engineer and mechanic so I worked it delicately.
It’s ok for a cheap plastic device, and I’m rather tickled that it works so well. It seems to be holding “0” quite well.

The Himalayan pink salt also can be used either during cooking or as a finishing salt. Delicious when used with chicken, red meat, fish, brines and sauces. Himalayan Pink Salt is pure, hand-mined salt found deep inside the pristine Himalayan Mountains.
The high mineral content of Himalayan salt crystals contributes to their color, ranging from deep reds to beautiful pinks. The fine grind Himalayan is sized perfectly for direct use in cooking. Try adorning tender white meats such as lean pork, chicken or turkey with the mineral rich flavor of this gorgeous salt.
Did you know there is a vast difference in the quality and content of table salts on the market today? Some have had chemicals added to them as anticaking agents. Some have been heated or cooked to drive off moisture.
Some have had valuable natural minerals removed in processing.
I was finally relegated to having to buy sea salt only from health food stores to find it without an “anti-caking agent”. Even some brands at health food stores have it in them. Read labels. When my local store stopped selling it in bulk, I was out of luck until stumbling on Redmond’s while shopping Vitacost online.
No anti-caking agent (yay) so I gave it a shot. I love the fine texture and prefer it over coarse grinds. Tastes good and gives a consistant sprinkling when seasoning food or measuring when baking. After I bought the first bag and tried it, I bought 2 more bags right away JIC it was ever OOS when I needed to make a reorder.
Now, when I finish a bag, I order one or 2 more so I don’t run out of it. I store it properly and never have an issue with it clumping or caking. I always put uncooked rice in the bottom of my salt shakers and that keeps it from clumping at the table.
Every bit as good as the many other brands of sea salt I’ve tried. The packaging doesn’t have to be fancy for the product to deliver on taste. I’ll keep buying it as long as Redmond’s doesn’t put an additive in it.
High mineral content, all natural, organic Food Grade & Certified Kosher The darker the color the more minerals that are in the salt Contains 84 trace minerals – including Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Copper and Iron Season meats, grilled vegetables, a variety of salads, soups & stews or use when baking.

First, my order was processed within 24 hours and on my front porch (in NJ) two days later. This company really knows how to make a customer happy. The Pink Himalayan Sea Salt is of the best quality and the package indicates that the salt is a product of Pakistan; which is the only true source of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt.
This salt is fine to medium grained and requires no grinding before use. Compared to the highly processed white table salt I’ve been using all my life, this Himalayan Pink Rock Salt has a phenomenally pleasing flavour.
You can almost taste the dozens of healthful trace minerals it contains. I would do business with this company again without hesitation.
My wife and I found tiny pieces of stones that are transparent and look like salt granules that don’t dissolve in water and has no taste. Might be tiny granules of stone. We are using pink salt for several decades in both India and US and know what it looks like.
The pricing is good but not with adulteration. I am gonna say no to this product just for that.
I purchased this salt on the recommendation of my chiropractor who is also a neuro biochemist. I never was a salt lover, and it annoys me when I see people cover their food in salt. My doctor told me that pink salt is good for you due to its high mineral content.
I wasn’t sold. I thought what’s the big deal, salt is salt. not so, not by a longshot. I bought a bag and I was instantly hooked. I have not tried any other brand because I don’t have to, Viva Doria’s brand is excellent and the price could not be more reasonable.
Pink Himalyan salt makes anything you put on it taste so much better, it brings out the flavor in ways I didn’t think possible. And I sprinkle it liberally. If I put that much of my old iodized salt on my food I’d be throwing it in the trash.
I cannot stress how much this salt improves the flavor of whatever you put it on. Salads, soups, sauces, dry rubs, BBQ. it is amazing.
Get Ready to Rock n’ Roll by stocking up on SHRED-ER patented salt cartridges! This stuff will damage furniture, paint, finished surfaces, & window screens. DO NOT SHOOT critters sitting on Grandma’s antiques! No butterflies, praying mantises, or the like are to be targeted with this device.
Pest insects only. Specs: 12 cartridges, 120 rounds of ammunition = 10¢ a shot!.
A really fun “toy” with a bite! Almost makes one hope that they will encounter flies, spiders, mosquitos, etc. Very powerful due to the co2 cartridge that propels the salt. This pistol will kill insects that the standard pump salt guns won’t.
It is a bit pricey and the downside is you have to order the ammo from the company, as you cannot load the magazine yourself, but it does come with 240 shots in the starter package. A plus-feature is the fact that it is double-action for rapid firing (10 shots per mag.
I use them to kill wasps on my porch. It doesn’t always kill them, but it definitely puts them on the ground until my shoe finds them. I try to get at least 10 a day. I don’t always count my shots so now and then I miss a wasp because I shot an empty cartridge.
I used to kill them with my tennis racket. I am 5’7″ and my ceilings are 10′. Ergo the use of the handy pistol. The salt riffle just couldn’t do the job as, as it was meant for flies anyway. I am very pleased with the pistol.
Thanks for the delivery of the salt cartridges, my wasp population continues to decline.

The Bug-A-Salt pest gun uses ordinary table salt to kill flies and similar bugs. Each shot uses just one pinch of ordinary table salt to drop a bug whole, leaving no nasty mess to clean up.
I never write reviews so there must be something really great about the Bug-A-Salt to get me to post here. We came back from vacation and somehow got a good number of fruit flies around the house. I went out and bought spray, not thinking i had a Bug-A-Salt handy.
I thought the spray would handle all these pests once and for all. Well, I was totally wrong. The spray smells absolutely awful. The best description i can provide is WD-40 being masked by vanilla bean candles.
And that smell does not go away. It’s been over 24 hours and the whole room stinks after only 2 flies killed. The walls i had to spray on, now have oily residue. This was the organic, safe for pets, kinda stuff.
Don’t get me wrong, it works well, but the stench is beyond comprehension. Then I remembered the Bug-A-Salt. I didn’t think about it since fruit flies are so small but why not? So i did. I’ve taken care of way more flies and there is no smell, no mess, nothing but safe, effective removal of pests and it’s kind of fun to use.
A few grains of salt are all that is left and there is no risk to people or pets. And since the bathroom has been the primary location for the pests, that leaves toothbrushes, towels, toilet paper, etc all safe and secure since no chemicals are being used.
The Bug-A-Salt has been a tremendous help in pest control and has prevented any additional damage to the house from traditional sprays and chemicals. I strongly recommend considering getting a Bug-A-Salt for small pest control.
I went camping last month and my friend brought his Bug-A-Salt. It was a blast killing all the flies that came to visit our campsite, after a few minutes all the flies were gone! We ran into another set of campers and they complained about all the flies at their campsite.
After sharing that we have a Bug-A-Salt, they said that they’ll be buying one as well. When I got home from camping, I order one for myself. I’ve been going around the house killing all the flies, black widows, other spiders, crickets and lizards.
basically anything that moves gets shot! I was at the Bass Pro Friday and they had the Bug-A-Salt’s on the front isle for sale. The lady in front of me and the guy behind me all had good things to say about the Bug-A-Salt, we all had a good laugh! And yes, I would recommend the product to any and everyone.
Himalayan rock salt on a rope provides a 550 million year old source of minerals and trace elements for your horse or pony. Mined from the Khewra salt mines at the foot of the Himalayan mountains in Pakistan and transported by truck and train, these mines give the local mountain people one of their main sources of income.
It is said that Alexander the Great discovered the mines when he travelled through South Asia, but in fact it was the horses that first alerted him to this rich mineral source! When Alexander’s army stopped to rest, the horses started licking the stones, one of the soldiers noticed this and tasted the rock stone, realising it was salty thus leading to the discovery of the rock salt mines.
Himalayan rock salt licks are obviously distinctive by their colour, however it’s not just this that sets them apart from other licks and they are believed to be one of the purest forms of salt (sodium chloride) available.
Hilton Herbs Himalayan rock salt licks have been analysed and have been shown to be predominantly sodium chloride, with other trace elements such as potassium, magnesium vital for maintaining health and iron which is responsible for the distinctive rose pink colour.
Himalayan rock salt licks are literally rock hard, which means that horses and ponies are unable to bite chunks off, a problem that can occur with the softer ‘pressed’ salt licks. The Himalayan rock salt licks are also much more weather resistant and can be hung up in the field for horses and ponies to ‘self dose’ exactly as nature intended.
In line with all Hilton Herbs products their Himalayan salt licks are ethically sourced from a fully-accredited supplier whose facilities comply fully with UFAS – SAI global feed safety standards.
My horses love this salt block! I also prefer purchasing this rather than the typical salt blocks because this is salt from the Earth. No additives, no processing, just natural minerals and the way salt is supposed to be, making it a healthier option.
We’ve used Himalayan salt licks for some time now. my horse likes them a lot 🙂 We’ve always gotten them from different sources, feed stores, online, ect. The Hilton Herbs brand seems far superior! My horse still had a little wafer of his old one left when we put this one up.
right away he tested this one out and was licking “yum yum yum” for ages! He has used this brand of Himalayan much more than the others. good boy! If you check online, the Himalayan salt has mineral content too.
it’s weird this brand only wants to declare the salt. calling it “sodium-chloride” can that be accurate(?) since in natural forms sodium is separate from chloride and the two are only combined in processing.
Himalayan salt does have chloride too, but it is weird to refer to it as if it were a processed product. All in all, I really prefer this brand. I’d only like to see a more complete label. it would be nice to see a detailed mineral analysis on the particular vein this brand sources.
Something has to make it better tasting than the others! :).
Tough-1 Himalayan Rock Salt 100% all natural straight from the Himalayan Mountains. A great source of iron, potassium and magnesium, which are all vital for maintaining your horse’s health. It is rock hard and difficult for horses to break chunks off.
Safe to be left out for horses and is much more weather-resistant so it will last longer than other salt licks. Includes rope.
Great quality salt block. Sturdy and long rope. My Quarter Horse loves it. Tied it in his stall and he has something to “play” with and lick. With these high temps this summer in Ohio he needs the salt and minerals.
I got these for my horse but after giving it an experimental lick I am buying a few more for around the house. With the convenient cord and hole I can hang this bad boy over my stove so I can grate a few flakes into a soup or roast.
It has that great salty flavor we’ve all come to love but with the convenience of a giant rock of it rather than having to fumble with measuring spoons or awkward containers.

Real Salt means-well, real, authentic salt. A quick glance at the ingredients label on most salts might surprise you Many salts contain anti-caking agents and even dextrose (sugar). Others have been heat processed and stripped of their natural trace minerals.
Real Salt brand, on the other hand, is unrefined and full of natural minerals and flavor-the way salt was meant to be savored.

Armed with my recent purchase of The Bug-a Salt 3. 0 and Shredder starter kit, I have become Silencer of droning buzz, exterminator extraordinaire, a ruthless and efficient one woman Fly S. W. A. T. team.
I have a personal vendetta against these abhorrent maggots ever since they killed my pet hamster in the most traumatizing way a 12 year old girl might witness. I despise flies with a visceral passion and bought this seemingly ridiculous item to dispense violent retribution upon my enemy thinking it would be a frivolous expense that might give me some small joy in dispatching these disgusting invaders.
We have already destroyed multitudes of swatters trying to get rid of these repugnant pests that plague us, but they persist and multiply, torturing me with their incessant annoying buzz. Since I had been about to resort to an expensive leather device for smashing them, I figured I would temper my frustration with constantly missing them by blasting them with salt instead.
I woefully underestimated how extremely emotionally rewarding this would turn out to be, and also misjudged how effective the tool itself would prove. So glad I gave in to the impulse and got both the pump action and the CO2 powered instruments of fly death.
The rifle has a great spread that knocks the zig zaggers clean outta the air when they refuse to sit still long enough to target with the pistol, and the salt means I do not have to endure complaints of the smell of any spray that I usually resort to when swatting fails the task.
AND I can rid myself of the vile pestilence and cleanse my kitchen of nasty spirit energy at the same time! Apparently I should have joined a skeet shooting team instead of softball when I was in school.
I am so much better at shooting flies with these things than I ever was at splatting them with a swatter! My batting percentage with the swatters was only around. 300 even after a warm up on a good day of accuracy and speed, but armed with the B-A-S duo I’m batting close to 1.
000 on day one. I actually cleared the house in no time and had to go outside to hunt down more flies! I never imagined how deeply satisfying it would be to pick off these little f****** as they perched on the corner of a toaster or glass.
And if that was all it was, it would be enough to make the man who invented this my hero, but the darned thing actually works so much better than a swatter for killing flies, I may claim him as my spirit animal or patron saint as well.
I can’t even express how grateful I am to have something I bought on a whim be both so bloody useful as well as such a joy to use. Thank you. This was money surprisingly well spent. I am really happy with my purchase of both the Shredder set and Bug-A-Salt 3.
0 plus bug beam! I may take em out to the garden to see how the earwigs like them too. Today I let the flies know that the game has changed now that I have leveled up. And I smiled the whole time.
Previous to this unit, I bought three of the first-generation guns, and was happy with the one that I used. (I gave one as a gift; the other remains MiB. ) The most important virtue of any of these guns is that they leave behind nothing more toxic than table salt.
You don’t have to worry about poisoning the baby, your companion beasts, or your girl-friend. This model plainly delivers salt at a higher velocity, and so should take-on more formidable foes. It certainly feels more sturdy than the first-generation model.
(I have no experience with the intermediate models. ) By the way, though the first-generation model doesn’t kill yellow-jackets, it does shred their wings, so that they can only walk-around angrily. I guess that Model 3.
0 might do more damage to the rest of their evil little bodies; it’ll certainly wreck their wings.
BUG-A-SALT Black Camofly 2. 5 Product Features This patented salt shooting, insect eradication device will decimate the common housefly, lantern flies, and other soft-bodied pest insects on contact. Uses ordinary table salt as ammo! Improved sighting on the 2.
5 results in better accuracy to decimate mosquitos, roaches, moths, and poisonous spiders. Re-Engineered salt shooting internal mechanism allows for greater reliability, durability, and lasting power.
Features Lorenzos hand-crafted, water transfer patented CAMOFLY design. Smoother spring on the cocking mechanism makes for easy operation. Automatic safety (resets every time) is recommended for those with small children or pets in the home.
Non-toxic, accurate within three feet, and no batteries required. For use by responsible adults only.
The quality of this build is apparent in the weight and spring strength of the gun. It’s super easy to load, chamber, aim and fire. The safety switch engaging when you chamber a round is a good idea.
We’ve hunted pests around the house and patio for a few days. My wife has a funny HaHaaa! after each accurate shot. This was an unexpected and great fun birthday present for her.
Feel like a legit killer with this model. One shot one kill. Roaches and flies alike. The black fly misfired jammed slot and lacked the velocity that this model has. I spent like 4 days unarmed after my old one didn’t work anymore and my new gun arrived.
In the duration it was misery. The little sob s seemed to know I was defenseless and mounted an all out offennlsive on me. Some big ass ones even, kind I’d never seen before. Was right on the job with my new cammo edition.
It was pure genocide for about an hour then they were gone. Haven’t been back except for a few stragglers. Thank you all.
The Bug-A-Salt Clear ‘Em Out 3. 0 is specifically tailored to the needs of the more serious fly hunter. The Clear ‘Em Out 3. 0 features custom improvements such as cross-bolt safety trigger redesign and patridge sight for extremely accurate shooting.
Simply release the safety and a pop-up sight indicates it’s ready to fire. The Bug-A-Salt pest gun uses ordinary table salt to kill flies and similar bugs. Each shot uses just one pinch of ordinary table salt to drop a bug whole leaving no nasty mess to clean up.
This is my 3rd bug-a-salt gun. I love them. I got my first one years ago and wore it out not due to poor quality at all! I shot hundreds of hoppers of salt through each of them and if I ran out of salt I have shot pepper, spices, garden lime, epsom salt, other garden nutrient pellets, even diatomaceous earth.
All started when I was raising pigs naturally there were more flies during that time… I have now found that the smaller grain cheapie salt works best although some of those bigger epsom salt Pellets payed down some heavy damage! After my first kill taking a fly out of mid air it was like shooting my first deer.
Since then I have found I can shoot enough flies to make a fly burger in an afternoon! So rewarding! So keep your eyes peeled, hopper full, thumb on the safety ready to fling as much salt as it takes until you eliminate those annoying buzzing buggers! FYI black flies are not the only pests you can massacre! Hornests(typically a few shots) moths(🤨) mosquitos, the neighbors kids(jk) ants, maggots well pretty much any little bugs.
If they have the potential to sting I hope you have been fine tuning your aim and make that first shot really count! And have fun! Sorry I haven’t taken any photos or videos just know this is a great quality unit I am especially hard on pretty much everything I use and I have been extremely satisfied with the abuse these rigs can take! At most (my most recent 3.
0 “CLEAR EM’ OUT” I have had for 2 weeks and I already broke the lid off my salt hopper but by no means was this anything but my own doing. 5 stars all the way!.
Now – 15% more 99. 9% Highly Purified Sodium Chloride No Preservatives or Additives! Includes 1/2 Tsp/2. 5 g Measuring Spoon! Makes 136 Cups of Saline Solution! Uses: For use with nasal rinsing devices such as squeeze bottles, net pots and nasal syringes.
Himalayan crystal salt is far superior to traditional iodized salt. Himalayan salt is millions of years old and pure, untouched by many of the toxins and pollutants that pervade other forms of ocean salt.
Known in the Himalayas as “white gold,” Himalayan Crystal Salt contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements found in the human body. This form of salt has also been maturing over the past 250 million years under intense tectonic pressure, creating an environment of zero exposure to toxins and impurities.
Salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts; salt in its natural form as a crystalline mineral is known as rock salt or halite.
Salt is present in vast quantities in seawater, where it is the main mineral constituent. The open ocean has about 35 grams (1. 2 oz) of solids per liter, a salinity of 3. 5%. Salt is essential for life in general, and saltiness is one of the basic human tastes.
Salt is one of the oldest and most ubiquitous food seasonings, and salting is an important method of food preservation.
Salt is used in many industries, including food manufacturing, tanning, chemical manufacturing, and other industrial processes. Salt is also a de-icing agent for roads and sidewalks in cold weather. More than 40% of the world’s salt production is used in de-icing.
Salt is also used in religious ceremonies and has a role in folklore. In some cultures, salt is considered a sacred substance. It is also used in magical rituals to ward off evil spirits.
Salt is produced in two ways: either by mining rock salt or by evaporating seawater. Solar evaporation is the most common method of producing salt. It is also the oldest and most inexpensive method. In this process, salt water is placed in large, shallow ponds and allowed to evaporate in the sun.
The water evaporates, leaving the salt behind. The salt is then collected and sold.
Rock salt is mined from underground deposits. It is usually found in salt domes, which are underground formations that contain large concentrations of salt. Rock salt is also sometimes found in lakes.
In the United States, the largest salt mine is in Goderich, Ontario.
Salt is an essential nutrient for animals and humans. It is needed for the proper functioning of the nervous system and for maintaining fluid balance in the body. Too little salt can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, and too much can lead to high blood pressure and water retention.
The ideal intake of salt for humans is about 2,000 mg per day.
How does salt work?
water plant
Saltwater plants are able to extract salt from the water around them through a process called osmosis. The plant cells have a higher concentration of water than the saltwater outside of the cell. This difference in water concentration creates a water potential gradient across the cell membrane.
Water will flow from the area of high water potential (inside the cell) to the area of low water potential (outside the cell). This process will cause the plant cell to swell and the salt to be left behind.
What are the benefits of using salt for bugs?
insect eradicator
The benefits of using salt for bug eradication are many. Salt is a naturally occurring substance and is very effective at killing bugs. It is also very cheap and easy to find. Salt does not harm the environment and is safe to use around children and pets.
What are the drawbacks of using salt for bugs?

Bugs of salt can be difficult to come by, and when they are used for bug a salt gun, they can often be ineffective. In addition, bugs of salt can also leave behind a messy residue.
How to use salt for bugs?
gun

What to do if you have a salt for bug problem?
If you have a problem with salt for your bug, you can try a few things. First, you can try using a different type of salt. Second, you can try using a different amount of salt. Third, you can try using a different method of applying salt.
Conclusion
Salt is an effective insecticide because it dehydrates and kills insects by drawing water out of their bodies. Salt can be used to kill a variety of insects, including ants, cockroaches, and fleas. To use salt as an insecticide, simply sprinkle it on the insects or their nesting area.
