Reviews From Real Customers
Needed the basket extension mainly because the standard basket size didn’t fit my 2021 Toyota RAV4. It was shory by a few centimeters. Now, all the fasteners are securely attached to the roof rack & I have extra room for more items.
The quality is good. It feels sturdy & it has a quality paint job. It’s a good value for the price. I was looking at the new LockNLoad platform system but that was overpriced, plus it requires to buy more accesories adding up more cost quicky.
The Loadwarrior basket gets the job done at a reasonable price.
Got this in spring of 2021 for a road trip from Michigan to Colorado and back. Worked super well with the aero cross bars for my 2014 Subaru Impreza. Never been happier that I went with a name brand product! Loaded ~200 pounds of camping gear and extra luggage on it and it handled perfectly.
I will probably add more fairings to reduce the wind noise but it’s perfect in every way. Once you set it up the first time, taking it off and putting it back on only takes 5 minutes. No rust so far either.
The LoadWarrior is perfect for carrying bikes, skis, boats, luggage, spare tires, shovels, double basses, grandfather clocks, miscellaneous knickknacks, and the kitchen sink. Mount gear directly to the accessory bars.
Custom wind fairing included. Weather resistant, heavy-duty steel construction. Universal attachment system attaches to Yakima/Thule and factory crossbars. Optional locking bracket secures your basket to your rack (sold separately).
NEW! Step up to the completely new Yakima bar. Thoroughly wind tunnel tested, the black JetStream’s JetFlow design is exceptionally aerodynamic, incredibly strong, lightweight, and really quiet on the move.
The root of a modern rack system, it carries a lot and looks good doing it.
Our burliest crossbar ever, the HD Bars are for heavy loads, rugged terrain and maximum utility. It delivers the muscle our new truck racks demand, and works with our StreamLine towers to get the heavy duty job done right.
The engineered aluminum construction provides superior support without weighing things down, integrated tie-down points to simplify load security, and T-slot attachment technology for adding gear mounts the fast, easy way.
The Vortex SG roof rack system is the system of choice for vehicles that have protruding side gutters. Easy to install and remove – they are ideal as a non permanent solution yet offer great strength and durability.

The Yakima Jaylow can carry one boat up to 80 lbs. in the J-cradle position or two boats combined for up to 110 lbs. in the vertical, stacker position. It features heavy-duty straps and bow tie-downs that will keep everything secure.
This kayak trailer jaylow provides maximum loading and minimal fuss. It is versatile, adaptable and fits round, square, factory or aerodynamic bars. It has a minimum crossbar spreads of 24 inch or more and can be quickly adjusted with the integrated cam lever.
This car trailer jaylow comes fully assembled out of the box and is easy to install without the need for tools.
We just got into kayaking again after a long break and needed to figure out how to carry the boats on a honda element. The Jaylow was appealing because it folded flat when not in use. But it ended up being really difficult to load my boat because this rack is more for side loading, which with the height of the element means it takes two people lifting (49 lb pungo 120).
The upright supports did move quite a bit when adjusting the boat and strapping it down, which was not super reassuring. The real deal breaker was the whistling noise though. Between the two rack pieces there are 28 holes that cause an earsplitting whistling noise.
The manufacturer’s suggestion is to cover them all with tape. Ended up returning this and getting a yakima sweetroll, and I am very pleased I can now load my boat on the element by myself (5’4″ tall, 50+ yo) and there is no whistle!.
I found this on line, it said open box for $189. 95. I had just paid $230. 00 for the seat I had gotten just a couple weeks before from a hometown dealer and the box had more damage than the open box that you sold me.
As for the racks the open box was in better shape than the new one I had gotten from the local dealer. So who would not want to save $40. 00. Now I always check this web page to see what you have before looking somewhere else.
Fast shipping, great price, great customer service. Thanks and will be buying more see you soon.
Thule 7106 Evo Foot Pack This foot pack (4pcs) is for Thule Evo roof rack systems and fits all current Thule crossbars, designed for use on vehicles with flush rails. It also requires cross bars and a specific Thule fitting kit to attach to your vehicle.
The 7106 has a 75kg load capacity, but check your vehicle’s roof load rating before loading to ensure safe operation. It features a clever built in torque indicator for exact tension and comes with everything needed to install including key matchable locks.
Please refer to the fitting instructions below for more details. You can use our Roof Rack Guide to find out which roof rack options are available for your car.
I can’t fault this piece of kit, but it was a frustrating experience trying to figure out exactly what you need to get everything you need. Halfords has a helpful guide when you enter your registration, but I went to the store with my existing roof bar to make sure I had everything I needed.
The lady who served me was very helpful. She checked the system thoroughly and assured me when I bought the foot kit that it was everything that I needed. Frustrating, what the system doesn’t show her is that the “fitting kit” is also needed, and that is only available online.
This she and I only found out when I went back to the store a second time and she compared her system with what I could see on my phone online. So as I say, the bars fit my Toyota Hybrid perfectly once I had the roof bar AND the foot kit AND the fitting kit!.
Bought for a 5 series touring with roof rails. Fairly easy to fit and seems securely attached. Unlike other Thule feet I have purchased for cars without roof rails, this version has a face plate that can only be fixed into position with the key provided.
No big deal but the key does seem like something that could easily get lost. I was a bit disappointed to discover (when transporting 320kg of plasterboard!) that the load carrying capacity is only 70 kg (vs.
100kg for the BMW roof rails themselves). However, I suspect these limits are specified with dynamic loads in mind and I have taken the view that higher loads are likely to be safe when the car is drive on smooth roads and at low speeds.
If you are sick of trying to manipulate your board into the perfect spot on your car roof, especially after a long session in the water, the supdawg is perfect for you. Using integrated rollers, you’ll easily load your sup- even if it’s oversized.
With a premium, sleek, glossy, black finish, this carrier will not cramp your vehicle’s style. Your mind can rest knowing that soft padding cradles and protects your board. Fully integrated security.

What’s the worst part of owning inflatable paddle boards? Whats plagued emerging markets for years? Inflation. If you have to air up on the bank of the lake, you’ll have less time on the water and probably be stuck inflating your wife’s board while she sits under a tree.
Buy this rack. You can inflate at home with an air compressor, and spend your time and energy paddling. It comes in a red box, has wheels for easy loading, it locks you your car, and it locks your boards.
The only downside is that it will not protect you from sunburn.
The Q in Q Towers stands for the quadruple movement capability of the tower and the clip. So the four degrees of freedom allows them to fit your car like custom tailored underpants. Available in 2 pack or 4 pack.
Die cast interior for solid sturdy anchor. Ball and socket mechanism adjusts to all contours of your vehicle. Add vehicle specific Q-Clips to ensure a custom fit to your doorframe.
The Yakima 66″ Roundbars have been designed to be a strong foundation for your cargo and outdoor gear when traveling. These are versatile bars constructed from durable stainless steel wich will hold a variety of leads.

The product portfolio comprises load carriers for cars such as rooftop boxes, roof rails and bike carriers. Additionally, the company offers snow chains, trailers, towing systems as well as accessories for motor homes and caravans.
Thule has 3,500 employees at over 30 production and sales locations on all major car markets in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Net sales for 2008 amounted to SEK 6. 2 billion (approx 620 M Euro).
If you have a vehicle without factory racks or rails – or a canopy shell, Yakima’s Landing Pads can be the foundation for a great rack! Yakima Landing Pads work with our versatile our Skyline Towers (and Control Towers) for an easy and secure rack system.
Each Landing Pad is custom made to fit the exact make and model of your car. Use the FIT MY CAR button to see if these are the solution for you.
Considering the price for this item, I would expect the mounting hardware to be bulletproof. It was far from high quality. The bolt-heads started stripping immediately because of an extremely shallow socket, difficult accessibility, and the tool supplied was inferior.
The wrench was very hard to hold, way too small, and creating several cuss-words when put to use. The tool itself began to strip as well. The last few bolts were frustrating to attach leading to a less than satisfactory mount.
I even got a few metal splitters in my fingers from the stripped wrench shavings. Through the entire process, two of the bolts cross-threaded with very little pressure, as the design of the bolt path and its orientation to the flush-mount rail on my CRV made lining the bolts up very difficult.
Simply a major headache. For the $144 price for the “Landing Pad” alone, I would expect a far better tool and far better bolts. maybe titanium? Typical overpriced designer gear from REI and Yakima. It is a shame that products like these help make the outdoors non-accessible.
The “Landing Pad” is essential to making the whole rack system work, and is more than a price-gouge, it is borderline extorsion.
This setup creates a sturdy and versatile rack system for late model Outbacks, replacing the very weak factory crossbar system. The LP 13 increases the distance between the bars a few inches at most, but provides a very solid attachment point for whatever is attached to the Yakima bars.
The close spacing of the flimsy factory bars makes original equipment racks just about useless for any substantial load because any long objects like ladders, kayaks or canoes tend to teeter-totter on the closely-spaced, weak crossbars and because the factory bars are so poorly attached, such loads can literally tear them apart from the leverage a long load creates.
The Landing Pad 13 makes a nearly bomb-proof way of attaching the Control Tower crossbar system to the car. There is no wiggling or flexing of the bars or towers once installed and locked down. The control towers are very quickly and easily installed or removed.
It only takes me about two minutes to do so. The whole setup is fairly quiet at highway speeds, no whistling or rattles. When the towers are removed, the LP 13s stay in place on the vehicle and have covers that snap onto the attachment points for a clean look.
There is no effect on fuel economy from the Landing Pads versus the stowed factory crossbars. Even with the crossbars installed, I lose at most 1 MPG. I highly recommend the LP 13 system as the best alternative to the very poor factory system.
The Rapid Traverse is a revolutionary foot that provides the strongest hold, safest fit and easiest installation for the ultimate in roof rack technology and peace of mind. This foot pack secures to the roof with Thule One Key locks.
The integrated AcuTight Tensioning Tool automatically indicates when the rack is safely and properly attached to vehicle, assuring the safest and most consistent installation. The Patented MaxClamp technology provides the most secure attachment by holding the rack to the vehicle with 12% greater force than competitors.
Requires the vehicle and Traverse Foot specific fit kit, sold separately.
So I was looking for a way to haul my canoe 900 miles using my 2015 F-150 Super Crew cab to the BWCAW and back and mounting it on the roof was my best option as I have no topper. I tried the foam blocks but due to the corrugated roof the blocks just did not sit well at all either parallel or perpendicular to the side of the truck.
I already had Thule square bars and the 78 inch long ones at that so I went with the Thule system. I am very happy I went with this rack system. It is very sturdy once it is all clamped down. It looks just awesome on top of my truck (I have received several nice comments on the rack since I installed it).
I changed the location called out by the install for the foot packs on my cab. First I moved the front feet more rearward to get a more level front crossbar. I also moved the rear foot packs further back allowing for a wider spacing as I could see no reason (except hitting your head on the long bars when getting in the rear door) to go with the specified spacing.
After a test drive I found the whole thing very noisy above 45 mph. I then installed the 52″ AirScreen Fairing which I had bought just in case. That took care of the noise. I can drive at 80 mph now with no real noise issues.
However, by adding the fairing to the front crossbar I found that I had to move the front foot packs back forward for two reasons; one, the corrugated roof wouldn’t let the feet of the fairing rest evenly on the roof and two, I had to move it more forward than the spec called for because the GPS receiver on the roof also interfered with the feet of the fairing.
So in the end I moved the front foot packs several inches closer than the spec and the rear foot packs I left in the position that I placed them at originally which gives me maybe 40 inches between my square bars (recalling the actual measurement from memory so it may not be correct).
The end result is I have a lot more space between my square bars than what the spec said. My canoe is a 46 lb kevlar 17 footer. I tied the nose off with hood straps attached to the fender under the hood and in the back I tied to the outer ends of the factory hitch mounting bar instead of going straight down to the hitch(because I was going to haul a trailer as well).
I was able to drive at 75 mph with no real noise issues. At 80 mph, I started hearing air being funneled thru the canoe. I put some carpet over the canoe’s front webbed seat and that helped some but not totally.
I am totally happy with this system and would do the same again. Don’t forget the 1787 Traverse System Fit Kit for your 15′-18′ F-150.
This foot pack is excellent. Very simple to install to the load bar and fit kit. The instructions for my vehicle were not accurate in regards to the crossbar width spacing. When set to the numbers specified for my vehicle with the fit notes, the feet extended more than 6 inches beyond the width of my vehicle.
I had to use trial and error to evenly place the feet. That was not difficult and as a result did not really impact my rating. The fit notes should be more accurate. The Rapid Traverse provides a secure mount.
I have used it in combination with Thule’s bike and boat carriers with relative ease. Compared to many factory rack crossbars, which can be flimsy, Thule’s Aeroblade in combination with this foot pack provides a solid crossbar.
The integrated torque keys are useful. Avoid having to buy a fairing (if considering Thule’s Square bar) and buy an Aeroblade base rack. You won’t be disappointed. Overall the noise and mileage impact of installing this foot pack and aeroblades has been minimal.
Load carrier feet for Thule Evo roof carrier system. The foot can also be easily mounted on vehicles without roof rack attachment points. Ergonomic torque limiter key indicates when the carrier is securely and properly attached to your vehicle.
Easy to assemble and mount with snap-in brackets – no additional tools required. Thanks to the patented clamping technology, the carrier is securely held to the vehicle. Attaches to vehicle with Thule One-Key locks (supplied).

Fitted this item to the car over the weekend to test this week, ready for my trip this weekend. This is 1 part of the 3 pieces you require to make the complete kit and this part of the kit is very good.
You can see the R&D that goes in to these parts because of the way everything fits together and how it all works but my only negative point with this particular part of the kit, is the locking flap. It only clips in on one side and locks on the other, so with not much force you could break this flap off even with it locked.
The lock should have been attached to a bar or similar, which locks the flap to the main structure better. If Thule could come up with a better lock and secure these better, then I would feel comfortable leaving them on the car but for me I will be taking them off once I arrive at my destination and put them back on when I leave.
Bought these to go with my evo roof bars, these are so well made and heavy duty. Hold really securely and give great confidence knowing they are holding well. I did forget the metal bracket pack that are car specific so had to go back to get them, but are so worth the money over other brands.
Thule is a well known brand that make original equipment for many car brands. Never had a single issue with any of my Thule stuff over the years.
Good product as always with Thule, but absolute pain in the proverbial that it didn’t make it clear you had to buy the foot pack too. I’ve been using Thule for years so usually have bars to spare, this looked like (from what I could tell on the description) that it had everything other than the bars.

Thule Roof Rack Fitting Kit 145129 Clamp mount kit for use with 7105 Evo leg Thule EVO fitting kits are designed and tested to ensure the specified vehicle has the best fitment possible. These fitting kits are to be used on a 2 bar system.
Each kit are vehicle specific to match the vehicle perfectly.
Read through user manual before you purchase. What’s pictured on the main page is not what you get. I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a factory track and the clasp that comes with KIT 183142 faces the wrong way and will NOT clasp on to the factory track.
The only thing that mounts your kit to the rail it the 4 bolts. I purchased the Wingbar Evo 135, Rapid podium and the KIT 18342 for a support for my Tupui rooftop tent and Im crossing my fingers that the 4 bolts is what’s suppose to support and secure this to the rails.
The 2015 Jeep rails only have the outer side of the rail with a lip for the clasps to grab onto as the inner rail is flush with nothing for the clasps to grab on to. HEADS UP.

I have used Thule products for over twelve years and on each change of car i just change the foot pack and use the original bars. So easy to remove the old model foot pack and re fit the new. Well done Thule.
I bought theses to fit pro bars to a Vauxhall Signum, they seemed like the best option as Thule said they did not make one for the Signum. Well it fits perfectly and does the job i need them to do. Connect to the 753 kit and job is done.

As car manufacturers keep changing things Yakima has to try to keep up. My old roof rack tower system had a base that would permanently and securely attach to the roof rails. This rail grab tower system doesn’t.
Once you finally get the adjustments right it does grab the rail. Each time you use it you have to reinstall the whole tower and get it lined up on each side. What a pain! The old system just popped into the base.
I already had a set of cross bars so rather than by another complete system, I got this rail grab tower set. The only good thing was that I could still use my locks. Be sure to carry the Allen wrench at all times as the rail grabbers do not remain tight and need to be checked every few hundred miles.
Works exactly like you would expect something from Yakima. Totally solid! My only problem is the ones I bought were used, and I think someone put loctite on them at some point. I busted one of the screws just trying to loosen it, but I still got it to work.
