This was so easy to pull out of the box and open up. Was very disappointed in the quality of the mattress. You can feel all the springs thru the mattress. The photo is misleading of the size so I read the details before I purchased.

Bought this Jay-Be Supreme small single Foldable Guest bed with pocket sprung mattress on the 21st March this year (2022). It is the perfect bed when my granddaughter comes to stay and we have a full house.
She loves it. Even I can get on it ok. Previous comments were a bit unfair but common sense would suggest it is not ideal for a very old person, as it is low down. When getting onto it, sit down and hold the frame both sides, as you lower yourself.
It does not then move, especially on carpet. A well made product from Jay-Be. B&Q has it as the cheapest we could find £149. One company was trying to sell it at £199. Well done Jay-Be & B&Q.
For sleeping on, the bed is great. Good matress and frame which is very easily unfolded for use and folded away. The problem this bed has is with the storage and moving it around. The strap you get with it to keep it folded for storage is totally inadequate and actually snapped the first time I used it.
This is the problem on other reviews I have read. The other problem are the castor wheels are not up to the job either and make moving it around very difficult. Overall it is a great bed and would recommend it if you can put up with the dodgy wheels and storage strap.
Having received this bed yesterday, it took very little time to set up. The only things that need any assembly are the castors, that screw on and the headboard. It was then a simple case of opening the side bar, pushing either end and it basically sorts itself out.

This bed was easy to put together. It took me maybe 30 minutes, and the design was intuitive enough to do without needing all the details from the instructions. It was nice that the slats across the bed were already on the bed and didn’t need to be assembled.
The rest was basically just solidifying the bed so that it stays in place and together. It holds my weight so far, even though I’m about ~280 lbs. Before I got this bed I took note of the length and width, making sure it would fit in the space I had.
They were about the same as my old bed, which was nice. However, I should have also looked at the height, because it is a little low to the ground. Having pets means we must be careful how low things are in the house.
Good: 1) Sturdy, strong frame & wood slats. 2) Folds nicely. Not so Good: 1) Casters are terrible and had to replace with ones that could actualy roll and lock. To do that, had to modify the support bracket location by drilling new holes in frame so I could install the new casters.
Works great now. 2) Mattress is way too firm IMO, could be a little softer.
