20 Best Redken Shampoo For Fine Hair (2023 Updated)

This conditioner is phenomenal as well as the shampoo. Immediately when applying the conditioner I can feel the moisture being added and my strands are smooth and manageable right out of the shower. I have very fine hair and haven’t found a product that actually gives it some body without feeling like a bunch of grit has been added.

I’m defying gravity these days! The ONLY drawback is the smell which is a musky rose. Reminiscent of an established woman in her 60s. I am more of a happy-bright-flowery/fruity scent seeker. This product is a miracle worker as well as the ‘White Diamonds’ of shampoo/conditioners.

If you enjoy or can deal with the stank- you won’t be disappointed.

Note: I have thin texture hair but a lot of hair so it gets weighed down and greasy fast. This stuff was not good. The volume was not great enough to justify the heavy product. I needed to wash my hair daily or it would look gross.

And I do double shampoo. The smell was like a very strong bouquet of flowers. Not my jam. But figured it would make my head smell pretty. lol but that wasn’t the case either. After the shower and dry, no smell.

I can’t finish this bottle. So at almost 20$/bottle!!! I’m disappointed.

I have used Redken for 30 years. it seems like no matter which formula I like, they discontinue it. I used to use Go Clean and I liked it. When L’OREAL bought the brand, the quality suffered. Redken Brews Daily was not good and I thought all hope was lost.

Then I tried the Extra Clean and lived it for years. Now it’s discontinued and they recommend this scented water. It even says it’s lightweight which is fine if you have normal hair and work in an office.

But if you exercise or have even slightly oily hair, this is not for you!.

I have only used this product twice so I can not really comment on how good the results will or not be. What I can say is that so far so good! I love the smell and the sensation on my scalp wen applied as it kind of tingles.

so it must be doing something. 😉 My hair feels better but it’s too soon to be rating specific results. What I can help you with though is the difference between the 2 versions available of Cerafill Products! At first wen I was going to make purchase I was a bit concerned about the difference between the Green Bottle range of Cerafill (sorry ladies can not remember the name) and the Blue Bottle range (retaliate).

In case any of you are wondering the same the Green Bottle is for wen you are beginning to loose hair, so your hair is just starting to thin out. The Blue Bottle range (Retaliate) is for advanced situations, and by that I mean.

For wen your hair has been thinning out for some time. My hair is very fine and been platinum blonde has also made it very weak (it was never very strong). so I was beginning to get worried of the amount of hair I was loosing.

I chose the Blue Bottle Retaliate version as I thought “if it’s for advanced situations it must be stronger”. I found this information after a lot of research so I hope it’s helpful to someone.

I actually started with the not so advanced shampoo, but i switched to this one. I love the feeling of my hair follicle being stimulated. Is that weird? Maybe, but its a clean feeling! I’ve noticed a BIG difference in my hairs health since using this shampoo 5 months ago! a small warning, i did loose a little bit of hair at first, but when i read up on it, apparently its because the hair follicle is being detoxed so some hair is falling out (if someone else has other information about this please fill me in!) other than that i wont ever live without this product! (Side note- my hair dresser has complimented me on my hairs health, i get highlights done every 6-7 weeks so it use to be super unhealthy when i was using just drugstore shampoo).

For a while now my husband and myself have noticed while washing my hair or even continously throughout the day that strands and strands of my hair are falling off of my head. My hair is all over the floor, all over the shower and all over my husband.

We are both always pulling my hair off of something. I have tried a couple different types of shampoos that claim to prevent hair loss and none of them had worked until this product! My hair is thicker, stronger, healthier and has even grown quite a bit in length since I had started using the product a month ago.

I love it! It works! My hair barely even comes out when brushed. Such a great product and is well worth the cost.

I’ve been using this product thinking I have upgraded from Tresemme to a salon product that was safe for my color treated hair. However, even after changing to redkin, I would see my soap suds turn a deep purple blue color and it would wash out my toner and fade my color dramatically in just the one wash.

My hairdresser and I kept blaming my hair from being over treated but even after several deep conditioning treatments, it still would completely wash out again in the first wash and I only wash my hair once a week.

I was about to reorder when I decided to read other reviews and seeing other reviews mention the same colored suds and color fade, I am relieved that all I have to do is buy something different to Redkin.

I will never trust a redkin product again. I keep looking online for its ingredients because it HAS to have something that strips hair.

First off, I have very long and thick colored hair. I bought this thinking it would be a good new shampoo and not fade my color. I was completely wrong, as this shampoo didn’t seem to clean my hair at all and only made the build up on my hair worse.

I have never struggled with build up on my hair, until I bought this shampoo along with the Redkin All Mega Soft conditioner. It was absolutely terrible, I had so much waxy build up around my hairline that looked like grease, and it would NOT go away no matter how much shampoo I used.

Along with that, I felt like this made my color fade more than any hair product I’ve ever used before, which also had never been a major problem for me in the past. So in short, this shampoo brought about a lot of issues I never had to deal with before and made my hair look awful.

I will never buy Redkin hair products again, because both types of shampoo and conditioner I used were awful. I thankfully had a hair appointment soon after this problem started so that my hair was thoroughly cleaned, and after my stylist gave me new recommendations (Pureology and Matrix Total Results btw) I threw the Redkin in the trash.

I am also not one to leave reviews, but I would honestly feel bad if I didn’t warn someone about to buy this how bad it is. Seriously just don’t buy it (or any Redkin shampoo and conditioner for that matter).

I purchased thinking it was just new packaging. I don’t use shampoos with sulfates and I noted – ‘Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo is anti-frizz shampoo with a gentle, sulfate & sodium chloride free formula’.

I have purchased frizz dismiss previously. I noticed the difference as soon as I used shampoo as it foamed a lot. Near top of ingredients is a sulfate. Ingredients – Aqua/Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate.

So a sulfate free shampoo has sulfate as 2nd main ingredient. Advertised as ‘new look, same great formula’. Not a happy customer!.

This line seriously changed my hair. I’ve been natural since 2012 and even after my big chop in 2013, I’ve never seen each of my strands defined. I don’t do wash and go’s because there is simply too much frizz.

When I started using Redken All Soft, that changed. It’s been a little over two years, almost three and the difference is amazing. For reference I have thick, low-porosity, type 4 hair. I thought it was 4c but since finding a moisture regimen and products that work, I’ve discovered my hair is actually 4b.

I have beautiful “s” shaped curls that pop now with just water! I found this formula in TJ Maxx and I’ve been hooked. Not only is it the huge jumbo size, it’s much cheaper and the sulfate-free formula doesn’t weigh my hair down or cause buildup on my scalp.

This is a staple product for me and I’ll never switch up.

I can’t speak to long-term use yet, but so far I’m very happy with this shampoo! I have very thin, fine, curly hair, and I’ve been battling with hair loss for years. After the first use my hair looks and feels slightly thicker! I’ve tried quit a few other thickening shampoos and they all stripped my hair to “squeaky clean” in an attempt to get body, but this just resulted in lots of flyaway frizz for me.

This shampoo leaves my hair light, bouncy and full, but still silky. There’s none of the sticky feeling you get with some shampoos that add body. The shampoo also made my scalp tingle a bit, which is exactly what an expensive scalp stimulating tonic I once used did.

The tonic really helped to reduce hair loss over time, so I’m hoping this shampoo will do the same. I have a dry, sensitive scalp, and this shampoo didn’t make it itchy. The smell is wonderful and it lathers up very well, really worth the price!.

Going through the menopause I noticed my hair getting thin on top. Also I clear my brush of a handful of hair everytime I brush iut. I bought this with the conditioner aswell. I used it alternately every other day.

It does not contain all the rubbish that makes shampoo lather richly so put a small amout in your hand then rub hands together and smooth the shampoo all over your hair. It has a fresh smell and a fresh feel afterwards.

My hair is definately showing signs of fuller volumne. I do not get hardly any hairs in my brush. This fact suddenly occurred to me when I went to clean the brush after brushing. I will definately be buying more.

It is a great shampoo.

My favorite shampoo that I am always ready to buy. Performs all declared functions, even more. If you combine it with an air conditioner from the same series, you get the perfect combination. Hair after using this shampoo becomes obedient, shiny, stop falling out and you have to wash it less and less! Light consistency, unobtrusive smell, white substance that seems a little gel.

Not addictive! In general, shampoo is worth the money. I will buy more!.

Redken’s Body Full shampoo is absolutely fantastic! I love Redken products in general because they are high quality and work really well, and Redken’s Body Full is no exception to this observation. It works excellently and makes my hair feel soft, healthy, full of lightweight body, and clean.

This shampoo is more costly than I might pay for other shampoos, but you get what you pay for, and this product is definitely high quality – therefore, I truly believe it is worth the money and is a good value.

I love the way it smells, the amount of lather it gives, how soft my hair is to the touch, and how easy it is to style my hair is after I use Redken’s Body Full. I also believe it does a great job simply cleaning my hair.

A lot of times shampoos that claim to add body to your hair bug me because they overdo it, so your hair is full of static, fly-away hairs, or your hair just becomes too full and unmanageable, but Redken’s Body Full gives just the right amount of volume and body that your hair moves well but still styles nicely, and isn’t too big.

I absolutely love this shampoo and I highly recommend you purchase it if you’re in the market for a quality body shampoo that works well in every respect.

So I saw a lot of mixed reviews that said this is watered down and not real. Then some said it was the real deal. I decided to order it to up my hair game. I also purchased the smaller bottle of shampoo and the Redken One United.

When it got delivered the cap was sealed so and I checked the batch number and it was still good. So yay! The consistency of the conditoner looks thick at first but then turns into liquid and not thick as some say its supposed to be.

When I poured it into my hand it looked fine. But pressed it between my finger tips it vanished real fast into nothing. The first time I used it in conjuction with the shampoo my hair came out smoothish and shiny.

My ends didn’t feel as nourished as I thought they would be but then I thought maybe I didn’t apply enough. As I kept using I noticed that my hair isn’t as smooth anymore and my ends aren’t nourished and are dry.

I so used it with my Redken One United and still my ends were all dry, brittle, and easily knotted. Also my hair had a lot of stray aways -something I don’t experience a lot. Note that I ran the conditioner all through my hair and I even left it in my hair in a bun in the shower for a decent amount of time.

I just love Redkin products. They always make my hair look so shiny and manageable. I really can’t think of anything to improve this product. Why would you want to when it’s just wonderful? Soft , shiny , and manageable hair is just what I am looking for in a hair product.

plus, it last s until the next washing. Oh and it smells great for when those handsome men pass by and you flip your hair so they can get a whif. LOL It’s perfect just the way it is.
