This is the first review I have ever written about anything but I am close to tears. I started my project with Avery Product 8691 that I had purchased several years ago and was very pleased with the vivid colors using my HP ink jet printer.
When I ran out I made sure to order the exact same Avery Product 8691 and the package looks identical, but they are not the same labels. I am so disappointed in the colors printed on the new labels. The colors are dull compared to using the older labels.
I used the same printer with the same ink on the same day. I can feel the difference in the quality of the paper. I am so sad because now my project of a set of 3 CDs for each family member to remember their deceased love one looks tacky with a combination of vivid and dull labels in each set.

The software that you need to download for this labeler doesn’t work. I tried, re-downloading it a few times, I also cleared my cache, it still doesn’t work. I also tried it on two other computers (one Mac and one PC), still not working.
I don’t know what to do with this machine. I threw away the box, therefore, I can’t return it. Also, when I opened the box, the plug was missing. I have to go to Best Buy to buy it. So I bought the labeler for $90 then an extra plug and I can’t use it because it doesn’t work.

Obviously these large labels are great for shipping, enough space for both the shipping address and return address. At 4 by 6 inches, the address definitely stands out on shipping boxes. I reuse boxes whenever I can.
And these labels are large and thick enough to cover up the original address on the boxes most of the time. These Avery labels are very sticky. After you put it on the box, it definitely isn’t going to come off without struggle.
They are good for describing inventory as well. A big label leaves a lot of space to additional description or multiple listings describing what is in a box. That saves me a lot effort because I usually don’t have to open up the box to remember what is inside.
Avery is the most well known label manufacturer that is known for premium labels at reasonable prices. They are known for not only quality but extremely good customer service. I purchased these labels for my thermal printer over other labels because of the reputation of the company and the labels are a perfect match to that reputation.
As usual with a thermal printer, you need to make sure that your feed guides are properly spaced just for the width of the label and that the label is coming in to the machine perfectly straight. These labels worked excellent from the first label on.
The print quality is incredible and they separate perfectly between labels. I have used Thermo labels from many other companies and have found that a lot of labels rip when you pull them out of the machine but these are perfect.

I’ve used these labels times before in the past, however, I forgot HOW COSTLY they ARE! ALMOST $40 for these???? Are they a dollar per label???? In the past, it was CHEAPER TO PRINT ON PAPER than waste one of these! Military discount didn’t help that much in addition with the purchase.
Template for Word was off; Avery tech recommended using their software; that was even worse. Finally spent a couple hours moving margins in Word to get the image right. Avery also doesn’t appear to have their label positioning tool available, so you are stuck using an old jewel case to position the labels on the CD.

These labels “stick, stays and removes clean” …. yes ! they actually function as described. My favourite goto labels for all my projects. I also luv the size and quality ; they are perfect !
The only labels that will actually stay on floppy disks, and only come off when you want them too! Best template for them is on PrintExplosion for Mac OS 9, which you can find on Macintosh Garden. I tried AveryLabelPro and that was useless, but these labels are absolutely the best.
Don’t get the wrap around ones, these are the only labels that truly worked for floppies.

These labels have owner of room to write on them if you want to or you can just use a new color for every category you have. I use the file cabinet folders for my things and I put the green label on all the folders that have to do with banking.

These little colored labels are used for so many things. You never know when you will need these so it’s great these come in a package with 315 in a resealable package. You are able to write on them if needed.

I needed labels that spanned the Horizontal length of a page in Brown Kraft Paper. Avery sent me a sample, but did not have the full page. Staples agent ordered the JAM labels. The JAM are NOT the SAME Color as the Avery, so do not match the background I neede to make my label strips for.

Our store uses these to color code all items to help rotate inventory. The labels don’t stick well anymore. 500 labels per roll would work better for us. Large tools create leftover partial rolls and over time they lose adhesive.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to create beautiful labels for just about anything. The labels also stick very well to almost every surface that I have used them on :).
Perfect for the top or even the side of a jar on which I can put my Company’s label. All these print-to-the-edge labels are great for printing labels to put on hand-made products. For example, I can put my logo on one of these labels, or all of them for a variety, and know I don’t have to allow for any “edging” the label itself might have.

I am using the labels on the back of a line of greeting cards I am developing. I could not get them aligned properly so they look a little unprofessional. However, my concerns were that I could not figure out how to use the templates with my Macbook.

Just took over the secretary job and the first thing I had to do was get the NewsLetter in the mail. I knew that they needed to be secured on three sides and did not know where to get them. I took a chance and looked into the office supplies at Staples and there they were, I should have gotten the one inch inventory labels but these worked out great for what I was doing.

labels not what were ordered. Do not fit the LX500 label printer. Have found a reliable source who stand behind their product. Suggest all customers looking for labels do as well.
I use an HP 1020 laser printer to print off individual 4 X 5 inch postage labels. Using sheet labels just doesn’t work for me – you have to chop them up and when you send those chopped up sheets through the printer they’re off centred as they don’t have an equal border around the edge of each label.
It takes up too much time and there’s too much waste. I wanted 4 X 6 inch labels on a roll so I could seperate them and send them through a laser printer but NO ONE seems to sell them in the UK. Lots of them for themal printers – but none for laser printers.
Then I found these. Although designed for inkjet printers – they work on my laser. You spend half an hour chopping them up into individual labels using a paper trimmer and then you have a pile of curved labels.
Put that pile onto a hot radiator for an hour or two to soften the adhesive and they then go under a pile of books. That straightens them out and they now go through my laserjet. The result is exactly what I was looking for.
The adhesive has good grab. Although not designed for the use I put them to, I do wish I’d found them sooner. I can’t give them “5 stars” as that’s for “amazing” and for heaven’s sake they’re just a sticky label! But, I will be buying more.
