eXuby Shock Collar for Small Dogs with Remote + Free Dog Clicker Training – 3
Combine the power of the clicker and shock collar for faster results RECHARGEABLE RECEIVER AND REMOTE.
Our dog (a pure-bred Labrador) had a pretty serious barking problem and the previous collar we had that vibrated or beeped when she barked wasn’t working. I’m not sure why. and it needed weird battery that was hard to find and not cheap.
But this one has a remote and can produce a beep, a vibrate or even a shock – as required – and the batteries of both collar and remote are rechargable using USB and last all day. Turns out our dog has never needed a shock – but being able to control it from the remote is great.
I’d give this an EASY 5/5 except for one thing – the collar seems to turn itself off after some amount of time – it’s not that the battery runs out – so I’m not sure why it goes off. The push button on/off switch has to be held down for 2 seconds – and it’s recessed so it’s unlikely that it’s being pushed by mistake.
I also wish it came with two charger cords so I could charge both collar and remote together overnight – but the battery in the remote lasts several days – so it’s not a huge deal. But at this price, it easily beats some of the $100+ devices – and I strongly recommend it for any medium to large sized dog.
maybe not so good for a tiny dog though – the collar is kinda bulky for a small dog.
good basic trainer, directions are in passable ” pidgeon english”. Great safety set up. it has to be in the OFF mode before you can set the intensity of E setting. the sound and vibrate settings increase while resetting shock mode.
If collar is not going to be used for days would recommend turning OFF. Press button on collar until you see Red flash. to turn ON press button -it will vibrate and flash GREEN. My setter is 40 # and I have to use at least #25 to get her attention.
She does stop for the BEEP and VIBRATE, but not long if she has a scent. Good Luck.
It does the job and has some nice features, but not great. PROS Inexpensive Used but very little signs of use. The lock switch is helpful to avoid unintentional shock Sound and vibrate modes are helpful.
My dog usually responds to these, no need for shock. I like that the remote control will tell you how much battery the control and the collar have left. CONS Feels cheaply made. Very light plastic. Both the remote and the collar are big.
Much bigger than the previous shock collar I had, which my dog chewed up. Did not come with rubber tips for the collar electrodes. The electrodes are a a bit pointy, which has to be uncomfortable around the neck.
To change the shock power, you have to hold a button and turn a knob. Doesn’t make for quick adjustments. Did not include a charger.
Features :〠SAFE REMOVABLE RUBBER SHOCK HEAD】Extra conductive silicone for the contact points is safer than other metal one, shock head would not contact the skin directly, protecting your dog from skin injury.

I have had the collar for a couple weeks now. Seems to be working very well, battery charge holds quite a while and love the battery indicator on the remote for both the collar and the remote. I took one start off for two reasons: 1) only able to charge collar or remote at a time.
2) a bit of a delay on the response of the collar from the time you push the buttons. Not sure if I am liking the fact that each push of the button on the remote only sends out one signal rather than a continuing signal till you let go the button on the remote.
My pup is old enough and is well behaved enough to where some of these issues are not a problem, but when we first started training this definitely would have been an issue for me. Overall excellent product and I love the audible, the vibration and the shock features.
For one year Old English Lab. Not neutered, was getting a little defiant, and was running out into the street, and eating ALL KINDS of garbage. Was reticent to get a shock collar, I could NEVER hurt any animal, but only had to shock him ONCE in two weeks ! He is a different Dog ! As long as you follow the “Command, beep, vibrate order?” He now stops his running away, AND drops any “food” he finds usually just from the beep ! Half the time just the command works ! (Which NEVER did) He knew I was too old to catch him, so there was never any consequence to his misbehavior.
I truly feel this thing will probably save his life, either by not getting run over, or from a blockage or poison he’d pick up on the walks. Labs eat EVERYTHING !.
Correct Any Misbehavior and Train with a Push of a Button – Whether its running away, digging holes, barking, biting, chewing, jumping, scratching, etc this shock collar will stop your dog instantly! Training Clicker Included-Combine the power of the clicker and shock collar for faster results Use the clicker before using the shock collar Your dog learns after the click there is a shock and to avoid the shock he will stop barking after the click.
This works great on my Pomeranian. I needed something to keep him from running into the road, onto the school bus with my kids, or into the neighbors yards. I don’t even have to use the shock setting, the vibrate setting on 80-100 works wonders.
He now comes when I call him without me having to use it. The only negative thing about this collar is that you have to pair it every time you recharge it, and one time I forgot. Definitely worth the money.
Petey, my dog (of course) likes to walk out back with me without a leash. Plus, it’s a pain following him around with a short leash, because wherever he goes, I have to go too. Lately, however, he has become more willful than I can tolerate.
He will go into neighbors’ yards, or out into the street. I also have an illegal pit bull living next door (I like pits, but not in a tiny house shut up all day and only taken outside to poo). Just using this thing once made Petey begin minding me again.
I tested the vibrate on shock on myself, just to make sure I wouldn’t hurt him. Then I charged it up and took him out. He got his snoot stuck in a sniff and wouldn’t move. I tried low vibrate, no, he ignored it.
I tried medium and then full vibrate, no. Tried it on what I thought against my skin was extremely mild shock. He screeched and jumped 3 feet nose up straight upwards. After that, I turned my shock down from 30 to 5, and haven’t had to use it again.
He responds to vibrate at about level 30. Caveats: You need to charge this thing up about every third time or fourth time you charge your phone. Luckily that’s quick and easy, since I can charge the collar and the controller from the same cord.
Also, the buttons are in terrible positions. The mode and signal buttons need to be switched. If he was heading toward the road in a hurry, I’d have no time to find the signal button except that I keep my finger on it in my pocket.
Finally, no matter how fun these things look on TV, never shock your dog for fun or as a punishment, and always accompany a shock or vibrate with a voice command. It took only two trips outside for him to learn to listen and obey when he goes out of bounds.
I purchased this several months ago to train a new Bichon pup we got. The pup was bad about running off to the neighbors and would not listen when I called him back, but rather just looked at me and kept going.
For his safety’s sake this could not be allowed to continue. I began looking for a training collar. The local stores were very expensive, over $100 for the least expensive one. I thought I’d take a chance on this collar.
I liked the fact that it gave me three options, sound, vibrate and shock. Well, my dog listens VERY well to me now. I never have to call him twice. He responded so well to the “sound” and “vibrate” feature that I have NEVER had to use the shock.
Nice to know it’s there if needed, but each behavior I have wanted to “adjust” I have only had to use the collar one time! I took him out on a lead and gave him a little room and called him and when he did not respond instantly, I gave him the “sound” treatment.
He jumped like he was scared and I used the lead to direct him toward me. I praised him for coming to me and gave him a treat and that was that. First time he headed for the neighbors, who have two dogs, I called him he looked at me and then started to continue, I hit the button, and he made a bee-line back to me.
Another treat and some praise and it was in the bag, he has always come to me on the first call after that. I have used the “vibrate” feature only one time and that was when he was out in the yard a lone and started to wonder off the property.
I was in the house and “buzzed” him, he stopped in his tracks and returned back into our yard and doesn’t show any interest in wondering off again. Again, I said it is very pet friendly because I have not ever shocked him.
Haven’t had to. Fantastic, works great and I would purchase another in a heart beat.
Triple Crown’s pet products division brings you the benefit of their vast experience working with thousands of dogs and their owners. Triple Crown creates innovative toys and training products that reflect the way dogs learn and have fun.
Also try Triple Crown Everlasting Treats Triple Crown Collar’s patented design enhances communication between you and your dog. This collar provides gentle control and offers a great looking design. It works well for dogs that constantly pull on the leash and makes obedience training a snap.
The link design fits together, producing a watchband pattern that any dog would be proud to wear. This also makes it easy to remove links as needed, or use AddALink to quickly lengthen the collar for a perfect fit.
Meant to be used as a training aid and worn during training sessions not as a collar. Comes with a slip collar to be worn at the same time – if prong collar fails you still have a collar on your pup.
The collar is easy to put on/ take off, releases easily when pup stops pulling against it, never need the attached rescue colllar but it was comforting to know it was there if he broke through the prong collar.
Attempted positive training with two different trainers with no improvement- second walk with the prong collar our pup stoped pulling. When he pulled it pinched- when he stoped it stoped pinching. Worked great.
When we stoped using the prong collar on walks a couple weeks later – he went back to his normal collar – and he went back to pulling. For the following week we carried the prong collar in our pocket and put it on only if he started pulling.
Only needed to pull it out two or three more times. Sneaky Pete new the difference between the prong and normal collar and only needed to understand it could be swapped out on the fly. Be sure to measure using the guide on Chewy- we did and the collar worked great.
I like the idea of having more control on-leash with my very strong dog. I’ve used 2 different harnesses with little effect. And she’s been to several obedience classes. I wanted to avoid the traditional metal prong collar.
Well, it was very difficult to open the collar. And then I couldn’t remove 2 links to get the correct fit. I couldn’t snap the links back together. I have arthritis in my hands and this collar is beyond my strength.
I bought this about a week or 2 ago and I am so happy I did! My pup is almost 4 months old and is already 30+ lbs. he’s going to be a big dog and I want him to behave on a leash. He currently pulls so hard on the leash and I’ve tried other methods and collars already.
Nothing seemed to work, until I got this collar! I was able to easily remove links out of it to fit his size and he immediately learned and quit pulling so much! It even helps if he starts barking! I’m so happy I found this and the price is so reasonable!!.
Educator UL-1202 Upland one-mile remote training system is loaded with unique features, making it the most humane and effective trainer available. The transmitter offers user-selectable stimulation levels from one to 100.
A Lock and Set feature prevents accidental overstimulation by allowing the user to lock in a desired level. A blue LCD display shows the stimulation level at all times. For situations when you really need to get your dog’s attention, there’s an additional boost feature, which provides more powerful stimulation.
Set the boost level from one to 60, depending on the dog’s temperament. Smaller dogs typically respond to a boost of one to 20, while bigger, more stubborn dogs may require a boost of 20 to 60. With its ergonomic stopwatch design, you don’t even have to look at the transmitter, allowing you to watch your dog at all times.
The Educator Collar has been by far the best investment I have ever made for my dog. The service team was exceptional in answering all my question as a first time remote collar user. The product arrived in a timely fashion and the supporting documentation was easy to follow.
The transmitter fits comfortably in the palm of my hand and the receiver was very easy to fit on my dog. I purchased the optional CPAD for Long/Thick coats as my Norwegian Elkhound needed the extra to get through her fur, this has made the receiver very sensitive.
Additionally I purchased the Black Biothane Bungee Collar with Quick Strap, this allows for easy attachment and removal of the collar. I have become a more confidant user over time due to the 100 levels that this collar can work with.
This is a fantastic training tool and it has allowed Astra to live her best life ever.
This collar is simple Amazing easy to use and my results is amazing my Husky walk of leash like a king I go everywhere with my dog and people stop me to ask where im taking my dog for training and when I tell that Im training my self with my educator UPLAND and with less then 2 weeks both of my Huskys were of leash its hard to believe but I swear that is the truth a Big Shout Out to SHIELD K9 channel on YouTube I learn everything I know with them.

I have an Educator 400 series, which was recommended by a dog trainer friend. I have two White Swiss Shepherd dogs and I am sure that many of you with two dogs know, trying to get them to pay attention to you is a challenge especially in difficult situations.
We live in the Scottish Borders and our walks are mainly in the surrounding countryside. We have a lot of sheep and sometimes these are free roaming. We also have deer, squirrels, hares and rabbits. So the challenge is to essentially control the dogs prey drive.
Using a distance control collar makes this easy. I started off with squirrels and the dogs very quickly learned not to chase them. They now check in with me with a look and just leave them alone. I then moved on to sheep, with the blessing of my local farmers.
We had a couple of episodes of chasing, which were halted by the collar, on a level high enough to stop the chase immediately and see an immediate return to me. Basically this was end of story. I now walk regularly through sheep, in the absolute certainty that the dogs will not chase the sheep.
I have done the same thing with deer and hares, but don’t tend to see these so often, so I can’t be absolutely certain that they won’t show interest, but I am certain that I can control this quickly and easily.
My young dog is also quite nervous and is reactive with other dogs, Again I can now control this well with taps on the collar and low level: this just ensures that she pays attention to me and not the other dog.
Recalls and heels are made a breeze with the collar and it is possible to walk along with both dogs at a very acceptable heel without any other lead. I wouldn’t do this in a town or other more dangerous situation but this is really only for other people’s peace of mind.
The Educator has given us a totally stress free life with the dogs, because I know that I can control any undesirable behaviour at a distance. This makes me relaxed and hence my dogs are relaxed.
I feel the price is way to high but I do really like this product. I purchased this after I went through six or seven different E collars ranging in price from $30-$70 and none of them meeting my needs, expectations, or the dog chewing them up.
This one is expensive and I think it should be $50 cheaper because after tax and shipping it comes out to be $190. 00 anyways it works great so far and I’ve only had it a day. I watched a few trainers use this same one and it comes highly recommended for stubborn dogs.
It’s really not that complicated to use, watch Larry krohn on YouTube he has a video showing you how to set this up. The contact points on this collar is longer than any other collar we have ever had which is perfect because I have a German shepherd and his fur normally keeps other collars from doing their job.
It has many different settings and I love that it has a light on the collar and I think even the remote as well so I can see my dogs in the dark. There is no annoying button on the collar to press. You just press the button on the remote to turn the remote on then line up a red dot with the red dot on the collar touch it together and the collar comes on.
I have not experienced the annoying auto shut off so I don’t think it does that. I plan to update my review after having it longer than a day but for now it’s a great buy and it’s true you should never go cheap on an e collar UNLESS you have a very low maintenance small dog then your probably okay on getting a cheap collar.
I have two adorable, but untrained doodle pups. My youngest, a two year old Aussiedoodle is an excessive barker when people come to the door and when he sees other dogs and squirrels during our walks.
I purchased the two-dog mini educator and it honestly has been a miracle worker on my Aussiedoodle. He gets excited when I put the collar on him because he knows it is time to work for treats. I noticed a drastic improvement after day one of using thus YouTube videos techniques – Proper and humane e collar training for any dog by Larry Krohn.
I have only used this collar with POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT – this is key!! I purchased this now a week ago and I have barely had to press a button. I use a 9 level on him and you can barley feel it on a humans hand.
Make sure to always have training treats on hand. I see a lot of the negative reviews referencing that its not a bark collar, very true. But with the correct training and work from the owner and the dog this can effectively train a dog not to bark.
One dog system with 1/2 mile range Small receiver (2″ x 1. 5″, 2. 4 oz. ) for dogs 5 pounds and larger Mini ergonomic “stopwatch” transmitter (2. 64″ diameter x 1. 29″ thick) is well-suited for small hands or in situations where discreetness is important Delivers a tapping sensation similar to vibration, but more intense, making it an effective addition to the stimulation User-selectable stimulation levels from 1 to 100 with additional boost stimulus selectable from 1 to 60.
Biothane collar: 3/4″ x 30″. Includes two sets of contact points (5/8″ and 3/4″). Lithium-polymer rechargeable batteries with dual charger; 2-hour full charge. For US Market Only – Not for Export.
My human got this for me because I’m very independent and I don’t see why I need to do what he says all the time. He got the comfort attachment because I have a thick double coat. I’ve seen the number on the yellow thing, it’s a ‘6’.
My human tried this on as well and it was like he couldn’t even feel it! This helps me understand that when he says ‘Ivy here’ I need to go to him. Or when we’re walking, I should stay at his side and not lunge at rabbits or other dogs.
He seems very happy with me and I’ve only worn it twice!. Ivy’s human here! This is an amazing tool. It is not a ‘shock’ collar. It is a communication device. It is no different than popping the leash or pushing on a dog’s rear to get them to sit.
This tool just gives you much more and consistent control. Ivy’s working level is between 6-10 out of 100, depending on how many distractions are in our training environment. I can just barely feel it starting at 8.
Ivy’s recall drastically improved in just one session. The same with her heeling. The prong collars are great, but this is a massive step up. I strongly recommend training with one, especially if you have an independent breed like a Husky.

This 1-mile range collar system has 16 levels of momentary (or Nick) and Continuous Stimulations. It also has our Vibration feature which will make the collar vibrate. Both the collar unit and the transmitter are completely waterproof.
In fact, the transmitter will float on water; great for all you waterfowlers who spend more time on the water than the ducks do. And if you ever decide to get more dogs, the H2O 1820 PLUS can expand up to a three-dog system with Add-On Collars (sold separately).
I purchased my first DT System collar (H2O 1830) in May 2009. This was a phenomenal product with the ‘jump and rise’ feature which we needed at the time for our 5 year old Yellow Lab. , Marley! And just like the movie he bolted every chance he got until he experienced this collar.
Unfortunately Marley passed on and his successor, Jesse was introduced to the collar. Jesse was a ‘rescue’ with a mild case of separation anxiety so we didn’t need the jump and rise feature with him.
However the nick and vibration stimulants were very effective. Eventually the 1830 quit and I was quick to purchase another DT System collar. This time I went with the H2O 1820 in July 2015. This collar has been nothing but a disappointment.
Having the control on #13, the ‘nick feature vaguely affected Jesse. I made several calls to the Service Dept, performing the trouble shooting they recommended and ended up sending it back for service/repair within 3 months of purchasing.
It was tested and return but the results were no better. It has been back 2 additional times for service as recent as January 2017 with no better results. I am told the collar is in working condition but this is not evident when my dog has no reaction at all.
I very much want to purchase another collar but am very reluctant due to my last experience. I wished I had been offered a replacement or upgrade when my device was still under warranty but no offer was forthcoming.
I’d also like to be able to endorse this product with 5 stars but it can’t compare to my original H2O 1830.
Dt is garbage. One collar serviced 3 times in a year, finally exchanged for another piece of junk. Owner says to eat it. No refunds. When you pick your dog up out of a ditch you will wish you never bought a dt collar.
Zero range. Zero dependability. Zero standing behind their products.
1850 H2O hasn’t worked out well for me from the get go. First it worked good out of the package then after 1 hunt it would keep beeping after point. he 1850 H2O hasn’t worked out well for me from the get go.
First it worked good out of the package then after 1 hunt it would keep beeping after point. Sent in and got it fixed then worked great for 3 years then the seal for charging on the collar went bad. I ordered the add on collar and that is working great from day 1.
Ever since i received the original collar back after repair it has never worked right. To this day it still will only beep once for point then just keep beeping. Sent unit in twice and still no fix. I would only recommend if you need a good system for a couple years.

We just moved to a 5 acre property that has no fence for our dog, whom is used to be letting outside freely within a privacy fence. We hated having to put him on a leash every time he needed to be let out, but if he wasn’t on a leash he would run.
Normally wouldn’t be an issue with 5 acres, except we also live next to a buys highway. We decided to give this shock collar a try to see if he would respond to it, even though he is 5 and NEVER been exposed to one before.
I am please to say it works WONDERS! We have only had to shock him twice, and now we just have to use the vibrate option and he knows if he doesn’t stop or listen to our commands he will get shocked.
The best part is it comes with two batteries, so you can keep one on the charger to have ready when the other one dies. It is IMPORTANT to make sure they are charged, as I made that mistake once. All you have to do is press the light on the remote and the dogs collar should also light up.
Definitely worth the money for such great quality!.
Nice collar if you have dog’s with mild issues. As a 25 year dog trainer, I found the response time for the collar to correct was a bit slow. Timing is everything in training. Even on the highest setting, if your dog is in high prey drive,( as mine are chasing wildlife) they may ignore the correction.
Or learn to work thru the correction. The light feature and water proofing are very nice.
It works but the battery drains very quickly and has to be charged more and more often. The remote does not always connect to the collar whether its from a close by distance or not. And the collar ripped on a third day of use.
I guess my dog pulled a little too strong on it since he is a 70 pound pitbull but then this product should not be called Heavy Duty.

Never worry it runs too far with shock collars for dogs with remote Built-in Led Light And Reflective Collar: Special built-in LED light on the receiver and remote helps you locate your dog even in a dark environment.

Can use it to help correct barking walking leash training sitting pee aggression and other behavioral obedience Safe Humanistic Dog Shock Collar: Extra conductive silicone for contact points is safer than metal.
The shock head would not contact the skin directly protecting your dog from skin injury. Please use shock mode carefully. And especially the higher-level shock should always be the last mode to use Waterproof Dog Training Collar: The collar receiver is IP65 waterproof.
Your dog can swim or bathe freely wearing the collar. But please make sure to close the charging port when immersing the receiver in water and please dont put it in the water for a long time. The collar is adjustable from 7 to 25.

My beagles and I regularly go hiking and I have them off leash. I had been using Amazon electric collars to beep/ vibrate them when wandering. However, those collars were not always reliable thus I searched for collars with more consistency and range power.
I looked for weeks and read many articles/reviews. Results clearly indicated Sportdog was one of the best products. I finally decided to invest my money and see where it would take us. Initially, the product was great after I read the directions and synced the collar.
I did not like that there is a small button on the back that must be pushed to adjust shock intensity. I am a 105 women so you can imagine my fingers are small. I had to carry around a toothpick in my pocket so that small button could be pushed.
It was annoying, but not a deal breaker for the product. I continued to use Sportdog on a few other hikes and all wad relatively well. I noticed my beagle only responded to level 7 shocks which I thought was odd.
Also, the beep was pretty faint sounding which wasn’t great, but again not a deal breaker. One day I went to use Sportdog for a longer hike and made sure it was charged. I decided to use the provided lanyard, but noticed there was NO clip to hook them together.
There happened to be an elastic tie at the end so I TRIPLE tied a knot to secure it together. Again, it was inconvenient but I managed. On our hike, my dog was responding well to the collar until he suddenly took off.
I had to find my toothpick to switch gears as quick as I could to reign him in. Usually when he gets shocked at a higher level he will yelp/cry. I knew the collar could not be working as I never heard him.
I waited and waited and he thankfully returned. The first thing I did was check his collar to make sure it was tight and it still was. I watched the green light flick so I knew it was still on. I turned it off and then back on to be sure.
I tried a vibration feature and noticed it wasn’t working. I worked up through all seven levels of shock stimulates and my beagle NEVER flinched (he was standing 5-10 feet away). I knew the collar had stopped working and there was no explanation why.
I was walking back to the parking lot and decided I would return the product. I looked down on the lanyard Sportdog provided and noticed the remote wasn’t there. I knew it had to been within the last 50 feet of my walk.
I searched and never found it. I feel I did my best to use this product despite the frustrations. My largest concern was having to push the smallest button on the back of the remote to switch static levels.
It is very inconvenient in a moment of fear and carrying around a toothpick to push that tiny button was quite ridiculous. The lanyard needs a clip such as connecting a leash to a dog collar. It was a great idea, but it was poorly designed and caused me to lose the remote.
I am now out $200 bucks and can’t return the product because the remote slipped off a poorly designed lanyard. I had thought I was investing in a product that would last me years, not two months. I am going back to my $30 dollar Amazon brand because it was just as reliable (if not better) than Sportdog and it was easier to adjust levels at a quicker pace especially when I need it the most.
The 435 X series is really nice and has a small remote control that fits into my hand (I am only 5’4). The XS series is stronger (for large dogs that can be stubborn) and was too much for my need. that’s why I really wanted the X series.
The 825 X is the same as the 425 X except is has a longer distance reach (1/2 mile) but the remote is a little big bigger. Works great. make sure you read the manual for the different settings and understand that this is not a training tool per say but a corrective tool (meaning your dog has to know and understand commands BEFORE using it).
Do NOT use as a punitive tool. The nice thing is this item allows you to choose either tone, vibration, or static mode. 99% of the time I only need to use vibration for my dog to get his attention (he cN get sobfocused on a scent that he doesn’t pay attention to my commands).
He sometimes takes off after a rabbit/wild pig etc. and that’s when I have to use the static mode to quickly get his attention away from his chase. I really like that it is waterproof (my dog swims into ponds and rivers).
some other brands claim to be waterproof but really mean to say water resistant! If it doesn’t show water depth then it is not waterproof. Quality product worth the money.
I was looking for a collar for safety and as a training tool. One year old Bully that occasionally pushes boundaries on our property. For her safety because of other dogs in the area, we do not want her within 4 ft of the property line.
It only took a couple times in different areas on a very low frequency (2) for her to understand the concept. However at times I leave it on her, and this is where my disappointment comes in. The battery in the collar only stays charged foraybe 48 hours.
And that is only activating it 2 or 3 times in that timeframe. I bought this, knowing I was spending a good bit more money then other products expecting an overall better product, both in distance, features and battery life is very important.
This collar fell very short for me. I’m not sure about my exchange options, but I definitely cannot count on this at home much less in the mountains or the beach.

Our one year old golden thinks she knows everything. It literally feels like we have a teenager in the house. I’m surprised she hasn’t learned how to slam doors yet. This collar has given us the little bit of respect that we were needing.
We read the instructions thoroughly and watched several you tube videos. It took a little tweaking but we have her set at a “20” with a boost of plus 10, so “30” when we need it. The hardest part was getting the collar tight.
It’s hard for my husband and I to tighten it so the prongs touch her skin. Not physically hard, just physiological/emotionally difficult. Probably why we need a collar like this in the first place….

Love the safety feature as well. If you go to beep, vibrate, or shock you have to push the button 2x if remote is off. This prevents false positives of accidentally hitting remote. Once the remote is on you only need to hit the button once.
Remote will auto shutoff after ~60 seconds or so. Anyways is a great product for a great price and has lots of range which I need for my hound who loves to run long distances/explore while camping.
The brown lab has the聽 collar with the cloth-like collar that is so easy to attach with a clip. The white lab has a different brand w a plastic collar that is very difficult to strap around (p. i. t.

Kennelmaster Remote Controlled Dog Training Collar is an excellent and worry-free way to take control of your dog or puppy’s training sessions. The adjustable nylon collar ranges from 14 to 24 inches, making it suitable for all dog breeds over 10 pounds.
From Pomeranians to German Shepherd Dogs, this collar is suitable whether your pet dog is small, medium, or large. With a range of 2 gentle settings and 16 shock settings, this collar is perfect for new dog trainers who need a leg up when learning how to train a dog.
Unlike other models with nearly 100 settings, the difference between each level is easily noticeable, making it simple to remember the most effective setting to give your dog the best training and care.
Take the guesswork out of potty training your puppy or rescue dog with 8 gentle buzzing and vibration settings. Need to correct more serious behaviors or put in extra work to train a guard dog? This collar also functions as a dog shock collar with 16 settings of varying intensity.
The receiver is water-resistant with a handy carrying strap. Designed to fit easily in your hand or pocket with a range of up to 984 feet, you can enforce the dog commands you give whether you’re in your backyard, out for a run, or at the park.
Our new puppy had a problem of eating everything, coats, shoes, furniture, carpet and anything inbetween. We try to redirect him with toys and praise him when he did the right thing. However, when we wasnt watching him continuely, he would go back to his old habits.
The collar sounds a sound, vibration and electric shock. I use the vibration and sound only. I will not shock him, it hurts. After a couple of vibrating sessions,it stopped him immediately. All I have to do is show him the collar and he behaves without even putting it on him.
He has made a complete reversal. Its a conditioned behavior and he has learned only after a very few times of vibration. Love it.
As far as the tone and vibration the product works well. But the shocking feature seems to run the battery down very quick. I can usually get about 4 corrective shocks out of the receiver before the range decreases dramatically and then 1-2 closer shocks before they loose all effectiveness but the tone and vibration will still work.
Works well when it works, but I am very disappointed with battery life and range loss.
Works exactly as intended, to curb unwanted behavior! We haven’t used the shock function, nor do we intend to. The sound and vibration is enough to deter the bad behavior. Both the remote and the collar charge very quickly and easily and hold their charge for quite a long time, we only use the collar when we are out in the yard.
The electric shock contact adopts the method of rubber and spring. When squeezed by external force, the electric shock column can be retracted inward to improve the dog’s comfort.
We are using this collar to train my dog our dogs to not pull and walk nicely by my side. They pull and are hard to control as they are very big dogs. The first time I put the collar on the problem puppy we set the collar at vibrate.
This was somewhat effective to break her concentration, but still pulled. Then we tried level 1 shock and when she pulled, we shocked her and commanded -heel- with a pull on the leash. She responded and slowed down, by the end of the training she does not pull anymore.
Now they both walk by my side and rarely need to use the shock. If she does tend to pull, I use the vibration or the beep and she immediately slows down. The collar has done wonders and I am very happy with it.
The collar has three levels: beeping sound, vibration, and shock. In addition, the collar also has a flashing light, which is very useful when walking at night. The dog can be seen from far in the dark.
Also, you can set three different colors for the light. The remote has a flashlight which is handy when walking in the dark. It is a practical and multi-use dog training collar I would emphasize that the shock power is very high and always start at the lowest setting of 1.
If the dog does not react, then move up a notch by 1 until the dog just feels it. Do not go very high. After using it for some time, the battery naturally goes low. I just raise the power a little higher and then continue to use it without charging, until the battery dies.
I am very happy with this dog collar and I highly recommend it.

SportDOG Rechargeable NoBark 10 Standard Bark Control Dog Collar; Train your pup in a safe and effective way with the SportDOG Rechargeable NoBark 10 Standard Bark Control Dog Collar. It features 10 levels of progressive correction and two training modes to help curb disruptive barking from your paw-tner.
This collar delivers a consistent, reliable correction with Silent Partner bark-detection technology. This system includes a rechargeable battery that provides 200 hours of operation so it can work when needed.
This collar is also waterproof and submersible to 25 feet with DryTek technology to withstand the elements. Ideal for dogs eight pounds or larger, SportDOG Rechargeable NoBark 10 Standard Bark Control Dog Collar will teach your furry friend when it is appropriate to speak up.
The SBC-10 performs as advertised. It is quick to recharge and maintains charge surprisingly well. It is VERY effective, and WILL end the habitual barking. I have 3 beagles housed in outdoor kennels, that had developed a habit of persistent barking.
The SBC-10 ended the behavior immediately. Correct color adjustment is crucial. I very much recommend using the ‘user select’ mode, and in the minimal stimulation setting, as it is more than enough stimulation for effectiveness.
Although the description sounds less severe, I feel that the ‘progressive stimulation’ mode only creates inconsistency in training principle. My previous experience with e-collars was in stopping hunting dogs from running deer.
I found that to be quite simple, effective, and straightforward. Using the SBC-10 is quite different in that it is not as straightforward for the dog, in that since the stimulation is likely to produce barking in reaction, and that a chain of bark/stimualtion, bark/stimulation is likely to occur, and takes MUCH longer for the dogs to learn to avoid the pattern.
A mode level low enough to avoid the reaction barking, and high enough to stop the voluntary barking is the goal. Using an ordinary e-collar to break dogs off deer of course does not stimulate the dog to a reaction bark, but is not useful for bark control.
Tried others before finding this model. Others had the strange problem of correcting the dog when it wasn’t barking. Wasn’t going to put up with that. This never happens with this model. It also won’t go off if our other dog barks right next to her.
Important note- because our dog is medium sized (with a large bark) and fairly easily discouraged from barking this worked great. When she tries to bark (rarely now) the first mild correction is enough to stop her from continuing.
If there’s something that really scares her or alarms her (this has only happened once so far) she will bark up till about 5-6 then stop and wait 30 seconds then start again. So your experience may vary and the more expensive programmable model might work better.
FYI- first battery lasted 5-6 weeks and that was during her learning phase so lots more barks than now.
Shock collars for dogs, also known as e-collars, remote training collars, or simply shock collars, are electronic training devices designed to administer a mild electric shock to a dog’s neck in order to teach it obedience.
Shock collars are most commonly used to train dogs to stay within a certain perimeter, to come when called, or to stop barking.
While shock collars are not intended to cause pain or suffering to dogs, some owners do use them improperly, causing their dogs undue stress and anxiety. It is important to only use a shock collar under the guidance of a qualified animal behaviorist or trainer, and to carefully follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
How do shock collars work?
Shock collars for dogs work by applying a sudden and brief electric shock to the dog’s neck. The shock is designed to startle the dog and stop it from continuing whatever it is doing. The collar is usually activated by a remote control, and the amount of shock can be adjusted.
Are shock collars humane?
Some people believe that shock collars are inhumane and should not be used on dogs, while others believe that they can be an effective training tool if used correctly. Ultimately, it is up to the owner to decide whether or not they believe a shock collar is humane for their dog.
How effective are shock collars?
The effectiveness of collars of rated shock collars for dogs can vary depending on the dog. Some dogs may respond well to the collar and find it helpful in deterring them from bad behavior, while other dogs may not respond as well to the collar and may even become more aggressive.
Pros and cons of using shock collars
There are a variety of opinions on the use of shock collars for dogs, with some people believing that they are an effective training tool and others believing that they are inhumane and should not be used.
Here are some pros and cons of using shock collars for dogs:
PROS:
-Shock collars can be an effective way to train dogs, especially if traditional methods of training have not been successful.
-Shock collars can be used to correct a variety of behavioral problems in dogs, such as excessive barking, digging, and jumping.
-Shock collars can be a good option for owners who are not able to physically train their dogs themselves.
CONS:
-Shock collars can be cruel and inhumane, causing physical and emotional pain to dogs.
-There is a risk of the shock collar being used incorrectly, which can lead to serious injuries or even death.
-Shock collars can have a negative effect on the bond between an owner and their dog.
Alternatives to shock collars
There are many different types of dog collars on the market, and each has its own set of pros and cons. Some owners opt for traditional collars, while others prefer alternatives such as harnesses, head collars, or no-pull devices.
Here are a few of the most popular options:
Traditional Collars: These are the most common type of dog collar and can be found in a variety of materials, including leather, nylon, and fabric. Traditional collars are typically adjustable, allowing you to find the perfect fit for your pup.
Some collars also come equipped with a leash attachment point, making them ideal for walks and hikes.
Harnesses: Harnesses are a great option for dogs who pull on the leash or have a tendency to escape traditional collars. They distribute weight evenly across the chest and body, making them more comfortable for your dog to wear.
Harnesses also provide you with more control over your dog, making them ideal for training and walks in busy areas.
Head Collars: Head collars are similar to harnesses in that they provide you with more control over your dog. They attach around the muzzle and back of the head, making it difficult for your dog to pull on the leash.
Head collars can be beneficial for dogs who are strong pullers or have a tendency to escape traditional collars.
No-Pull Devices: No-pull devices are designed to stop your dog from pulling on the leash. They typically attach to your dog’s traditional collar and feature a front leash attachment point that prevents your dog from pulling ahead.
No-pull devices can be beneficial for dogs who are strong pullers or have a tendency to escape traditional collars.

When is it appropriate to use a shock collar?
Some dog trainers and behaviorists may recommend using a shock collar in certain cases, while others may never recommend their use. It is generally considered appropriate to use a shock collar when other training methods have failed and the dog is displaying serious behavioral problems, such as aggression or excessive barking.
It is important to note that shock collars should only be used under the guidance of a qualified professional, and they should never be used without a clear understanding of how to use them safely and effectively.
Conclusion
Most shock collars for dogs come with a remote control that you can use to activate the collar. The collar will then deliver a static shock to your dog. The static shock is not harmful, but it is unpleasant for your dog.
It is important to note that you should never use the shock collar to punish your dog. Instead, you should only use it as a training tool.
