Really works whitening gray hair. Really dark purple in color. The smell is not perfume very light , pump works, the bottle came in a plastic bag. The only thing is it leaves a slight purple tinge of color in the hair.

This stuff works. Period. Once a week, I apply it to dry hair prior to showering and leave it on for a good 20 minutes, even 30 sometimes. My hair is very fine and tangles like crazy, but this doesnt tangle hair during application like some shampoos, I can actually comb it through to distribute evenly.
It is a little drying so use a good conditioner afterwards. All the highlights are brighter and no longer brassy, just bright and fresh. White-ish platinum as I like, not dull yellow-blonde. I think the key is to apply it to dry hair so there is no water to dilute the violet toner, and leave it longer than indicated.
Just be aware that if you already have platinum color, leaving this shampoo on too long can turn the hair a pale lavender! But that seems to fade as time goes by.

Ok this stuff is AMAZING. I have pre-bleached my hair at least 5 times at this point, and my hair was very yellow before. Applied this to my hair for About an hour and a half to towel dried hair after rinsing the bleach out, did a thorough rinse in the shower and then reapplied to give my hair a little extra slip (it felt very dry from bleaching).
While it was wet it did appear to have a bit of a grey/violet tint to it, which disappeared and changed to bright silver when it was fully dry. Consistency isn’t very thick, it’s runny like a daily conditioner and has a rose hip oil smell to it.
It is very pigmented, so it’s probably best to use gloves and wash the color down the drain immediately so as not to stain the tub. It did stain my nails a bit, but the staining has gone away after about a day of regular hand washing.

Like the masque, the floral, green, powdery scent was the only thing I wasn’t excited about. The scent does dissipate quickly though. Positives: it did cleanse my oily scalp pretty well even though it’s sulfate free.
Sulfate free shampoos have come a long way! The consistency is good. Enough to spread on dry hair for extra toning before showering. If it’s too runny, it doesn’t tone well. If it’s too thick, you have to wet your hair which waters it down, but also you can’t use outside of the shower.
My scalp is clean and my ends are not dry. I have thin hair with an oily scalp. I used in conjunction with the conditioner. I did not let my scalp get too oily, or use too many hair products while testing.
