I bought this product about two months ago out of desperate necessity (IBS, one bathroom home), the affordable cost and 6pck of bags. Everything I read about it seemed legit. Not going to lie, the weight limit scared me (225lbs I think, I’m 265lbs), but I took a gamble anyway, so happy that I did.

I am pleased with my purchase. We bought it to take with us when camping (we also purchased a pop-up privacy tent to go with it). It’s a very affordable toilet – way cheaper than a lot of the camping toilets you’ll find – and it is lightweight and compact.
It fits inside the pop-up tent bag so we can keep them together, which is really nice. It is plenty sturdy. There are some reviews about it not being sturdy or how it’s better used for just kids, but I disagree.
It holds an adult just fine. It’s also a good height. Some camping toilets sit very low to the ground and can be difficult to get off of. This one is not. It is a little difficult to snap the toilet seat onto the metal legs, but once it’s on, it’s not going anywhere until you’re ready to take it apart again.
My only complaint is the ring that holds the bag onto the toilet seat does not “snap in” like the instructions say. It just sits there loosely. If you use the bags provided, the bag will hang suspended in the air.
Upon filling the bag, the ring does not hold the weighted bag and the bag will fall to the ground and no longer be connected to the seat. To remedy this, we used tall kitchen garbage bags instead (13 gallon ones).
They can be put on the seat and reach all the way to the ground. I took a roll of tape with us and taped the ring onto the bag to ensure that it stayed. It would be nice if the ring actually snapped in and held, but for a $12 toilet, I’ll bring a roll of tape.
Overall, I’m glad I picked this one instead of the higher priced ones.

The lid stays upright behind you. It is removable also for cleaning, etc. It feels very sturdy and the handle is rope which is nicer to carry it with than one of those wire ones. Glad we got it. It is not super luxurious, but it beats the heck out of a 1/4 mile tromp to the porta-potty toilet and then back to the tent again at the campground we have to stay at for a large event.

I’ve had my laveo dry flush for 2 months now. I had a Nature’s Head toilet, which is good, but with my disability it became to much for me to handle. My Laveo Dry Flush is perfect. It’s very simple to manage and I can go two weeks with one cartridge.
Changing the cartridge so really easy and nothing to it. There is no smell at all. You have to make sure you get the base set right so there will not be any problems. I can honestly say this has changed my life for the better.
The Nature’s Head is great too. It was just to much for me to handle.

Easy to use and clean. Seals in odors when the divider between storage tank and the seat is closed and the vent button to allow air in when draining works great. I just put in some bleach for a few days to breakdown any contents in the tank and then drain out.
Fill the storage tank a few times with a hose or from a utility sink spigot, take to the toilet and drain a few times and it’s ready for the next use. Solid build. Highly recommend.

Is it easy to empty/clean out and does it smell? A. The unit splits in half for easy emptying it dissolves hard waste into liquid. To clean out i use green aqua kem or other green products because they are septic tank safe and the blue ones are not.
It does not smell has long as you clean it out properly. Q. How long does it last before emptying? A. For 2 adults it last us 4-5 days.
