Pool sticks, also known as pool cues, are long, slender pieces of wood or fiberglass that are used to strike balls in the game of pool. Pool sticks typically range in length from 40 to 60 inches, and they usually have a diameter of about one inch.
The most important part of a pool stick is the tip, which is usually made of hard materials such as ivory, plastic, or metal. The tip is used to strike the cue ball, and it must be extremely hard in order to prevent the cue ball from shattering.

Product Description: Lucasi Hybrid LHC97 natural Birds-eye Maple billiard cue with crushed blue velvet split point inlays, triple silver rings, stainless steel butt cap, solid black Classic G5 grip wrap and stainless steel joint with the Uni-Loc system.
This is an amazing stick! Been dealing with a lower grade cue for a long time and decided to upgrade. I was a little apprehensive with paying that much money, but wow…just wow. I almost feel like I could actually be competitive in a league now.
The grip on it is incredible and would highly encourage anyone looking to up their game to go through Pool Dawg and buy a cue. Super fast shipping as it actually came a day earlier than advertised and they did an incredible job in packaging.
I will definitely be making another purchase with Pool Dawg! Thanks guys!!! #pooldawgrocks.
I purchased the Lucasi LHC97, with the Cuetec Cynergy 15k Carbon Fiber Shaft. I went with the Kamui Medium Clear tip. So far I am very please with the purchase of these items. There was a little delay because of the popularity of the Kamui Medium Clear tip, but Pooldawg’s customer service was excellent.
They contacted me and informed me of the back log on the tip. The wait for the tip added an additional week to my order time. Pooldawg called and informed me of what was going on and gave me the option to go with a different tip or wait.
I chose to wait. The LHC97 is beautiful, so is the Cynergy shaft. I get alot of attention regarding both items. The Shaft is silky smooth, black and glimmers. The Lucasi looks as if it has lightning in the inlays when the light hits it just right.
The shaft hits great. It seems like I can hit my long shots easier than before. I was a bit worried about the G5 grip, but it feels good and very secure. I’m still getting used to using english with this shaft, but I’ve been winning alot with the setup.
I play at a recreation center. None of us are “pros”, but there are a few decent players. I’ve been winning more games than before. Today I lost 1 game in about four hours of play. The Kaumi tip took a bit of getting used to, but it has a very nice feel.
So far I am very pleased with the equipment and Pooldawg’s service was also good.
The LHC97 was my first serious cue; a present from my wife on Christmas in 2009. To this day I use it in every game and it performs exactly the same as it did the very first time. I started with the stock 12.
75mm size and 18oz weight but after a year I advanced in my playing ability and decided to turn the shaft down to 10mm and replace the stock tip with a Kamui medium. Already performing consistently well I noticed an immediate improvement from my adjustments.
The precision accuracy and cue ball control delivered by this set-up are just phenomenal. Everything about Lucasi’s Hybrid cue allows it to function more instinctively as an extension of your arm than a foreign object held in your hands.
For the price I couldn’t find a better value. The only complaint I could remotely think of is that after thousands of hours of playing time the G5 grip began to deteriorate from sweat and friction. I’d estimate my playing time at approximately 25 hours each week for the entire life of the cue and the wear is just now barely noticeable.
It in no way affects the performance and is merely an issue of appearance. Competing against players using McDermott Lambrose and Predator the Lucasi LHC97 led me to victory for less than half the price.
A very affordable and reliable item for any skill level.
Take your own cue to up your game with the Mizerak 57 in. Built for consistency and high performance, this recreational cue has a 13mm ferrule and a leather tip. The joint is aluminum and measures 20mm.
Don’t waste your money because it’s far from the “perfect” cue they claim. First, the joint is left out of the pictures so that you don’t realize it’s junk aluminum

Fast shipping. Easy assembly, looks great, sturdy and balanced. Works like any other pool cue.Pros: noneCons: 1 out of the 4 had a few sharp bumps in the maple. Otherwise, works fine.
The cue is decent for the money, but when removing the tag the sticker removed part of the camo finish. It is definitely cheaply applied, so I’m a little disappointed.

Our ST-Series cues are 100% Rock Maple with a Double Pressed Painted Leather Texture Wrap, with a high-impact ferrule adorning the tip of the shaft, French cue wax in between, and a quality French Le Pro tip at the top.
This stick is a bad buy for the money. The maple shafts is low quality maple with alot of dark grains. “Like a walmart cue stick” the joints dont line up correct to make a smooth line. To make it all worse the sellers dont stand behind it only wanting to sell you another and i quote ” better quality higher end break cue.
” the stick sound like it is going to fly apart when you break with it. This was a stick i bought for wife and daughter and to say it was a bad choice is a under statement. I also know cues i have been playing pool for 30 years and play with custom jeffery prather cue and break with a jacoby.
I knew it would be a little low quality as a given cause of the cost. But this is really a sub standard cue even for my wife and daughter just starting to play. Buy a players or McDermott you can find them for close to same price.
This cue and the seller not standing behind it is a terrible deal. Period.
Over the years I’ve used a number of Phenolic tips and I have to say I’m the most pleased with the G12’s. I have a moderately hard break, the cue ball has consistently been clocked around 18-19 mph, so I’m really hard on tips.
The G12 is the only one that hasn’t buckled, performed unpredictably, or cracked. Furthermore, and I realize this is more of a gluing issue, this is the only tip that hasn’t come flying off the ferrule after a half dozen breaks or so.
Personally, I believe this tip performs just as good, if not better, than more expensive phenolic tips. There is only one little catch: It needs to be chalked heavily or you WILL miscue. For the money, these are an amazing deal and they won’t break your wallet.

This cue features a 31″ shaft and a 31″ butt with an extra long taper, vital for anyone who’s taller than average. Please note that the weight on this cue is approximately 19oz. **This cue also includes a 1 butt 1 shaft hard case.
This cue solved a problem for me. I’m only 6-1, and according to my research a 62-inch cue is only needed for player 6-5 or above. All I know is that with a six-inch bridge length and my wing span, with my hand dropped straight down I was near the end of a standard 58-inch cue.
The Elite cue allows me to get my grip hand closer to the cue’s balancing. Cue still weighs a standard 19 oz. , is beautifully balanced and has a tasteful, Sneaky Pete look. They could have put a better tip on it, but if you buy new I believe you have the option to upgrade, which I would recommend.
several players in our league are using cue extensions for when they want to stretch for a shot. I don’t mind using the bridge , but I feel that I have better “feel” by stretching when it comes to cue ball control.
My standard shooter has a 30” shaft with a 13mm tip. The elite 62” gives me an additional 3 inches of reach , without having to take the time to alter my regular cue. in addition the elite 62” is a great looking cue with a decent hit.
Cue is excellent. Weight as described, Straight as an arrow. Very nice finish with smooth multilayer lacquer. Tip is hard as a rock. Continues miss-cues even after constant dime radius scraping. Had to be replaced.
