A pool pump is a device that is used to circulate water in a pool. The pump is used to circulate the water in the pool and to also clean the pool.

The durable, corrosion-proof construction is designed to put up with the demands of maintaining an outdoor swimming pool, without constant supervision. A ribbed basket design ensures easy and even water flow, even when dealing with heavy debris loads.
The high-performance 1. 5 HP motor is housed in a heavy-duty case that is easy to clean and the large pump basket allows for longer intervals between necessary cleanings. Made of the highest-quality parts, this energy-efficient pump will be reliable season after season.
These high-quality parts are going to help you spend more time in the water, rather than focusing on needless maintenance. Keeping your pool in great condition year round has never been easier than with the PowerFlo LX Swimming Pool Pump from Hayward.
I would not recommend this product! You get what you paid for. First of all there were no instructions. The front of the pump that water flows through fell off. There’s nothing holding it on.
Wish it had a power switch. Got these 2in reducers from Lowes and cut some 2in PVC pipe to hook it right up to my Intex pool. Love the amount of water this thing moves.
The PowerFlo Matrix has been engineered as a uniquely superior above-ground pool pump. With a single push of a button, this truly versatile pump changes from a vertical to a horizontal discharge and back again.
Its large profile and integrated styling makes the PowerFlo Matrix a swimming pool pump like no other.
So I didn’t purchase this pump. The pump I purchased is no longer on the site. Probably because it’s a pile of junk. I received the pump and it looked cheap and I knew better but thought well maybe dynamite comes in small packages.
So I started to put it together. Realized it didn’t come with sand so I ordered sand, it was on back order for two weeks finally got an email with it say it’s in stock so I order three weeks later than pump purchase, then in comes in and I put it together.
With the sand I got that day. Our pool is green and disgusting by this time. Mosquitoes paradise. Well the pump doesn’t work!!! No on off switch, no suction to filter the water nothing. I contact them and they said I was past the date.
I emailed my information about the sand on back order and uploaded a video of the shiny new pump I just put together for nothing. They are cheap and only guarantee 30 days do not order anything from them.
Instructions for Changing the pump from Vertical to Horizontal Discharge need to be improved. The only instructions provided are as follows: “Press Positioning Button” located on pump housing and rotate discharge port to desired position.
First of all, this is not as easy as it sounds. It would be very helpful if there was an illustration showing the location of the Positioning Button, as it is not simply a button that can be easily identified by the written instructions.
Second, The Positioning Button is not designed to be an easy to push button. It is practically a stationary button that requires more pressure than the average person can apply with a finger or thumb.
I found it necessary to insert a small screwdriver between the button and the pump housing and pry upward in order to rotate the discharge port. Additionally, connecting the pump to the filter could be made so much easier and faster if a short, flexible connecting hose (with screw on connectors) was provided to connect the pump to the filter.
I ended up having to use several pieces of PVC pipe and PVC couplings and PVC quick disconnect union and glue the PVC pieces together in order to complete the installation. Hayward makes a great product but the installation instructions changes I recommend, along with the inclusion of a short connecting hose, would reduce the install time tremendously.
I realize that providing the connecting hose would obviously increase the price by a few dollars but it would certainly be worth it to the “do it yourself” consumer.

The Hayward W3SP2603VSP Super Pump Variable Speed Pump just got even better! Super Pump VS is a drop-in upgrade for Hayward Super Pump 1. 5HP Single Speed Pump models SP2610X15 and W3SP2610X15, that delivers up to 80% energy cost savings over single speed pumps.
These pumps are perfect for any small to medium pool. Not only are they incredibly efficient, the Energy Star-certified Super Pump is much faster than larger, more expensive pool pumps. Hayward’s best selling pool pump has a permanent magnet motor for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Tired of loud pool equipment? The Super Pump VS is exceptionally quiet compared to single speed pool pumps. Easily program the filtration cycles with the touch pad control or connect to a Hayward automation system (or any competitive system with relay control) for stress-free maintenance.
Please Note: This variable speed pool pump requires 230V to operate.
After inquiring if this was a photo of the pump they were shipping I was told yes. Got here the other day and it has the old style motor and controls . This pump looks like that.
Great pump. It’s very quiet and it’s nice to know I am saving money on my electric bill. Hope this Hayward pump lasts 22 years like my last Hayward pump!!
This large capacity 1 horsepower pool pump combines durable corrosion-proof construction with state-of-the-art performance for years of trouble-free service. You will enjoy its clear, easy-open strainer lid, super-sized, 110 cubic inch basket and super quiet operation.
Rely on Hayward Super Pump’s totally balanced, efficient Noryl impeller to produce higher flow rates at less horsepower than other pumps, so you can run your pump less and save on electricity. Easily installs on existing in-ground pool systems with a unique, stable mounting base for additional versatility.
Hayward Super Pumps use high performance thermoplastics like Perma Glass XL for the body, Lexan for the strainer lid and Noryl for the impeller. Features 1. 5 inch intake and discharge ports, operates on 115/230 volts and is U.
Replaced my 21 year old 1hp Jacuzzi Magnum Plus pump with this 1. 5hp pump. The Jacuzzi case began leaking water. The Hayward Super pump filter basket is much easier to empty and the square filter basket is easier to remove and clean.
Also much easier to see the water flow and debris through this large clear basket cover. This make less noise than my Jacuzzi pump. I used this for a 22,000 gallon in-ground pool with 13 foot deep-end.
Appears to be a high quality unit. If this gives me 20 years of service like the Jacuzzi, I’ll be very happy.
I am very happy with my purchase. Your service was great. I hope to do more business with you over the years. I bought this pump to have on hand when the old one wears out. I generally get around 3 years out of them.
This is my sixth one in 20 years. The current pump will be 3 in September. I highly recommend YourPool. com and Hayward Super Pumps! Thank you!.

Item #8106 Variable-speed up to 2. 7 total horse power. Eligible for utility rebates.
I purchased this variable speed pump a little less than three years ago when I had my in-ground pool installed. What a mistake! First, the power “savings”. The manufacturer claims that this pump uses up to 80% less power but does not provide any data to back up the claim.
While the pump uses less power when running at lower speeds, you are also filtering less water when the pump runs at lower speeds. Given that this variable speed pump costs about twice as much as a single speed pump, it will take years of power savings to recoup the added cost for this pump.
As I mentioned before, I purchased this variable speed pump a little less than three years ago when I had my in ground pool installed. Last year, after less than two years in service, the pump started to shut down for some unknown reason.
The variable speed control box was HOT, probably due to a combination of heat from sunlight absorbed by the black control box and heat generated internally by the pump itself. I suspect that this heat has fried the electronics in the variable speed control box.
Fast forward to this year. I opened my pool about three weeks ago. The pump ran for about two days, and then quit. As of late, I am lucky if the pump runs for 6 hours on cool days. I have been waiting over 2 weeks now for replacement parts from Hayward (poor product support).
Fortunately, this repair is covered by the pool installers warrantee. If not, I would be looking at a $200 – $300 repair bill. Do yourself a favor, do not buy this pump!.
This pump had some signs of being installed previously, but otherwise seemed practically new. Excellent condition and works perfectly. Easy install and setup. Even at full RPM this pump is much quieter than my old single speed motor and I only run this on high for a couple of hours.
The rest of the day its completely inaudible at a low RPM unless you stand right next to it. Installed a week ago and so far so good!.

Service-ease design provides easy access to internal components by removing only four bolts.
I bought this to replace my 25 year old Hayward pump. It is larger than the original one however installation was straight forward. Appears to be a good unit, time will tell. I was surprised that Wal-Mart offered pool pumps through a third party at a very good price.
Order was received earlier then expected. Installation was easy and it was running within half hour. It is so quiet I have to look at the pool to see the water flowing.
The TidalWave 2-speed above ground pool pumps bring powerful performance coupled with Eco-friendly cost saving benefits. This energy efficient above ground pool pump lets you choose the pump speed that best fits the job for great energy cost savings.
Slower flowing water means less friction in your filter and plumbing system, and thus less energy usage, so set the pump to low speed for everyday operation. When more power is needed to vacuum the pool or run other accessories, switch pump to high speed.
Featuring corrosion proof polymer construction that will deliver years of reliable service, these pumps also provide a convenient hair/lint trap to ensure crystal clear water. The TidalWave high performance pump is quiet, efficient and self-priming.
Top discharge design fits most filters and its extra-large clear lid allows for easy cleaning. Replace your old inefficient pump with this 2-speed water moving dynamo. Comes with a 6 ft. cord-110 Volt AC.
Got this bad boy to replace a Summer Waves sand filter pump I had running on an Intex pool. Works great, very quiet and powerful. The filter basket feature is great, after modifying the pool wall fittings, so that I can connect a vacuum hose to the wall, and not have the wall fitting clog with small stuff every 2 seconds.
One important specification that isn’t listed on any site I shopped for this pump: the maximum gallons per hour is 3720. I probably get less due to the smaller double hoses coming out of the Intex pool, and the small 11 inch Summer Waves sand filter.
Two things I didn’t like, but am willing to tolerate are: 1. No on/off switch Have to plug in and unplug for now. 2. Only a 6 foot cord. My previous one was 15 ft.
I was so attracted to the price I couldn’t resist taking a chance. So glad I did. First, the pump arrived within 5 days with free shipping becuase this comes from Amazon. Second, it fit the base plate of my existing pump perfectly.
Third, I did have to add additional piping to connect to the existing filter (but I knew this would be required by seeing the picture of the pump). I was able to get all the piping components at Home Depot to complete the installtion.
Fourth, this pump is much more quiet than the previous. Fifth, the suction strainer basket top is easier to remove. Sixth, the suction and discharge connections offer male end 1 1/2″ NPT connections or union connections (I thought that was a really nice option).
The pumping power works awesome with my size pool. I should mention that I bought this to replace the old pump becuase of presure loss problems in the discharge. But that turned out to be a filter problem and not a pump problem (Make sure your filter is not just visually clean but clean of grease and oils also.
) Really happy with my purchase. One minor thing to add was the packaging was a little suspect when it arrived becuase the box seemed to have endured some excessive handling but that did not seem to cause any problems with the pump.
I researched a lot of pumps online before making this selection. Don’t hesitate to get it if the size is appropriate for your pool. You will be swimming in crytal clear water in no time!!.
This pump has all the plus signs going for it except they need to put an off/on switch would make it more user friendly. The price is great and it is as quiet as any of the others I have used. The large clear lid makes it very easy to see down into the basket to see if it needs cleaned out.
The 1 1/2 hp. seems to have enough power to do what needs done on my 20,000 gal. pool. I have used the vac system with this and it cleaned well. Overall I am more than pleased with the looks, build, and quietness of the pump.
I would suggest to purchase the additional 2 year warranty from Walmart because you never know it is just a mechanical piece of equipment. I would also suggest putting it on a timer so it doesn’t cost so much to run it all the time.
It cost me $75 to $100 a month more on electric bill to run it all the time.

Keeping your pool in great condition year round has never been easier than with the Swimming Pool Booster Pump from Hayward.
Just replaced Polaris pump with this one so this is just initial review – time will tell. Polaris only year and half old and had problems with capacitor and pump output. Read reviews on Polaris and every one of them negative, especially after warranty expired.
Hayward is apparently the Cadillac of the class and just looking at size of impeller, output, and how quietly it runs you’ll see why it’s worth the extra cash.
Installed last week. Had to change the plumbing a little. The pool 1. 5 inch pipe now directly connects. Seems like higher water volume flow to the cleaner with this pump. To top it off, the pump is so quite you can barely hear it run.
Pentair 342001 SuperFlo VS variable speed pool pumps slash energy costs by up to 80% compared to conventional pool pumps. With premium features like a 24-hour real-time clock and an intuitive interface that displays watts and RPMs, they’re easy to program and operate.
With the SuperFlo VS pump, you can enjoy big savings on your utility bill. Perfect for new and standard pump replacement applications. The SuperFlo VS is easily the most versatile variable speed pump available today.
It can be installed using 115V or 230V power and it also accepts 1. 5 inch or 2 inch plumbing making it a perfect replacement for any pool pump.
When our Hayward SuperPump finally died, we were super excited to get one of these high-tech variable speed pumps. And, once installed, there was a lot to like. It is considerably quieter, which is great.
The quick-clean mode generates a lot of flow, so vacuuming works much better. It’s nice to be able to set a schedule and use different speeds at different times of the day. That said, I am hesitant to recommend this pump.
First, ours leaked! It had a slow drip between the motor and the pump. This resulted in us having to return the pump for replacement. The meant the pool was down for more than a week with no filtering during opening season and do they realize how much work it is to replace one of these? It should not have leaked! That’s poor quality control.
The replacement does not leak, thank goodness. If you buy one of these you MUST buy the Pentair GFCI circuit breaker to go with it. It will trip other brand circuit breakers. It’s called nuisance tripping and you can find plenty of references to it online.
The variable frequency drive generates noise on the power line that interferes with GFCI breakers, causing them to randomly trip. And, try to find one of those Pentair breakers this summer! Anyone who had one was charging 3x the normal price.
In the swim, why are you not selling that breaker? Surely, Pentair realized that every single one of these will be connected to a GFCI breaker? I’m sure they could add filtering to prevent the nuisance tripping issue.
Again, poor quality control. I’m a software developer by trade. Give me a week and their code base and I could make this a much better product. It’s nice to be able to set a schedule, but when opening or after an algae bloom you need to run at higher speeds for some period of time.
That entails completely reprogramming the schedule. There’s no way to have more than one schedule or to override the schedule other than the quick clean option which is two hours. You should be able to select from multiple schedules rather than having only one.
In my limited experience with pool pumps – the old, wearing out one that came with the in ground pool, and this new one – this pump is fantastic! I love the simplicity, the efficiency, the power, and how quiet it is.
I have to look for the current on the water to make sure it’s running, sometimes. Definitely worth the purchase. I also like tacos. Tacos are good, too.
The key to a properly maintained pool is moving water. Use the Pentair IntelliFlo VS Energy Efficient 230V Variable Speed Swimming Pool Pump to keep your pool water moving. Integrated digital intelligence and permanent magnet motors reduce pump-related energy costs and provide maximum pumping efficiency.
Featuring a totally enclosed fan-cooling design this pool pump operates at a quiet 45 decibels. Maximum versatility is provided with the ability to program your exact pump needs like filtering, heating, cleaning, and more.
Long-lasting and efficient, the built-in diagnostic will detect common causes of overheating, loss of prime and will protect the pump for longer service life. This variable speed pump is designed to be paired with Pentair automation systems (sold separately) for maximum convenience.
The integrated control keypad can be rotated for easy access. Designed for maximum performance, the Pentair IntelliFlo VS Energy Efficient 230V Variable Speed Swimming Pool Pump will provide a refreshing pool all summer long.
Pump works very well. Quiet and efficient. My only gripe is that the control board menus are not intuitive or user friendly. Setting a schedule shouldn’t take a Ph. D. They should use something similar to a sprinkler system schedule setup.
Also, there should be a “schedule setup example” in the manual. I get that it’s trial and error to get it perfect for each pool, but a template to work with would be helpful.
Superior performance, energy efficiency and value are the qualities that you can depend on when it comes to the TriStar 2 horsepower high performance pump by Hayward. The advanced fluid dynamic design optimizes the three essential pump elements to deliver superior flow, and energy efficiency creating a new benchmark in residential pool pumps.
The TriStar pump features the most energy-efficient hydraulics with a revolutionary motor-cooling design for an extended motor life. It’s the first pump to feature a Tri-Lock cam and ramp strainer cover with a super sized, smooth, no-rib basket.
This extra large leaf holding capacity extends the time between cleanings, giving you more time to relax and enjoy your pool. It also features dynamic airflow for a quieter, cooler operation and it seamlessly retrofits to almost any existing filtration system.
Desert Rated and designed to operate in environments up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Features two 2 x 2. 5 inch union connectors and operates on 115/230 volts.
Pump was ordered and delivered in record time and even though I am replacing old pump with this new one and a certain amount of re-piping was required, the pump fit very good and started doing it’s job right away.
If this new pump lasts s long as the old one (22 years) it will really be great.
it runs quietly, and is very efficient. It was also priced just right. It was easy to install and the new style of strainer basket works great for collecting debris and keeping dog hair from making it’s way to the filter grids.
Designed for inground pools of all types and size this self-priming pump combines maximum performance with durable construction. The swing-aside hand and strainer basket make it the ideal choice for both new and existing pool installations.
Max Flo has the same motor performance as the Hayward Super Pump!.
This is my 3rd Hayward pump in 5 yrs. The first 2 had seal failure which resulted in bearing failure. I took the 3rd pump apart before installing and noticed all of the seals were installed dry which is not a good practice.
R&R seals with a premium lubricant/sealant grease and hope this motor/pump lasts more than 2 years. Service the seals at the end of the season will maybe prolong usuage. WILL not buy another Hayward pump.
The Intex Sand Filter Pump with Gfci is perfect for above ground pools and features a powerful 3/4 horsepower motor to accommodate pools up to 12,800 gallons! The filter features a 6 position multi port valve which enables you to easily choose from the following modes: standard filtration, backwash, rinse, re-circulate, drain and close.
Also features a convenient 24 hour automatic timer, safety shut-off, easy cleaning skimmer basket and a 25 foot power cord with a 120v Gfci plug. Requires 77lbs of sand (not included).
These powerful Maxi Replacement Pumps for Above Ground pools feature corrosion proof polymer construction that will deliver years of reliable service. This high performance pump is quiet, efficient and self priming.
Top (vertical) discharge design fits most filters and the extra large clear lid allows for easy cleaning. Replace your old inefficient pump with this water moving dynamo. Comes with 6 ft cord—110v. Available in two sizes: 1 HP or 1.
It has 8 programmable speed settings and built in timer to assure optimum speed and run times for maximum efficiency and savings. Intelliflo allows custom programming of optimum pump speeds for specific tasks such as filtering, heating, cleaning, spa jets and waterfalls The 011018 is a dramatically quiet operation as low as 45 decibels.
The Pentair 011018 set off a marketplace revolution with its energy efficiency, near-silent operation and long service life.
Love this variable speed pump option. It had to be a pool pump that was compatible with my older Jandy Aqualink PDA RS Control System (had an old 2011 52 pin PCB board with only a single 4-pin red connector.
Chipset was for PDA-PS8, 8273, version 5. 0). I was replacing a Single Speed Jandy pump that finally quit after 16 yrs, and I didnt want to pay for a professional installer to come and charge a $300 service charge to connect a few pipes and wires and then add on an extra markup for a new Jandy Pump.
If I had purchased another Jandy pump, I would have had to go thru a local pool company/installer and payed a Markup on this dealer-sold pump from this middleman. However, Pentair IntelliFlo VS and Pentair IntelliFlo VF are supposed to be backwards compatible with the older Jandy Aqualink Systems, because Pentair came out with the first variable speed pumps.
long before Jandy. So, I got a new variable speed pump that I can control completely from my old year 2011 Aqualink System without a major upgrade to a New Aqualink 50 pin board. Saved me about $1,000 on board upgrade and $300 on service charge and $-.
? whatever the markup would have been on Jandy pump. probably pretty significant. The only downside I had to consider was that the newer boards would have allow me to control my pool with my Smart Phone.
The older boards do not allow this ability. thats the downside. But, I am satisfied controlling the whole system thru my original Jandy Palm Held Digital Device (PDA) and dont think its worth an extra $1,000 just to be able to use my smart phone instead of the PDA.
They are both handheld, both can be easily carried, and both are easy to program. Consider this option if youre in a similar situation and are handy enough to do the work safely on your own. If you dont really know what youre doing around electricity, then please dont try to do this on your own, as the voltages you will be dealing with are likely 220-240.
When I ordered this model I was informed that there is a newer version, for about $200 more. I didn’t think I needed the new one so went with the older 011018. Once I got it I realized that to access its functions remotely would require an expensive and complicated remote actuation system.
I was disappointed. I confirmed this with the experts at Pool Supply Unlimited. BUT WAIT!! When I looked closer, they had sent me a newer version, model 011056, for the price of the older one. It DOES have the ability to mount the control panel remotely with an inexpensive adapter kit! Problem solved.
THANK YOU Pool Supply Unlimited. This pump is terrific. Super quiet, powerful, flexible. I’m in love with it after only a few hours. I highly recommend it for spa applications. Congratulations Pentair.
The pump is very quiet and moves large volumes of water easily. I haven’t seen my electricity bill since installing it, so I can’t yet tell if I am getting the hoped-for electric savings others have mentioned.
There are a lot of options on this pump that I didn’t have on previous pumps, so I still have a lot to learn about how it actually operates. It has many programming options, and I haven’t yet decided which of the options will give me the best results between circulating the 24000 gallons of water in my pool the most efficiently and saving the most electricity.
It has a remote control option that would make operating the pump from a wall box possible, but most reviews of the single-pump Pentair control box convinced me not to install it. This means that you must have good access to the control box mounted on the top of the pump in order to make changes in pump settings.
You must also have it installed by a professional installer to get the full warranty, no small matter if the control box were to crash for any reason because it is a very expensive item to replace. I also replaced my previous cartridge filter with a 150 square foot Pentair filter at the same time as I replaced the pump and they work flawlessly together.
It was probably not necessary to do so, but the fittingsbetween the pump and filter were more compatible with the Pentair products than between the pump and my old filter. Installation costs are something to consider and can be a shock if you are not prepared.
However, consider the warranty you would be giving up if you were to do it yourself. In all, I think this will turn out to be a very good purchase.
OptiFlo Pumps for aboveground pools feature a revolutionary design that delivers dependable high flow performance. The OptiFlo features a 48 frame-thru bolt motor, easy access to change the discharge port position, service the impeller, and an exclusive Cam and Ramp? lid.
The OptiFlo includes a 3 ft. cord with a standard plug.
This is the fourth pump we have had in 8yrs. I purchased this one because of the dual speeds and the on/off switch (I don’t understand why they don’t all come with one?). So far it has been great! Excellent power! My pool vac cleaned the pool in half the time as usual.
Nice and quiet, too. I loved the fact that our pump arrived a week after I placed the order. Good thing because I had ordered a cheapo from amazon and it quit while we were on vacation. I will order all my pool supplies from Pool Geek from now on!.
Had the same pump prior and wanted the same to just drop in without the worry of needing to re-plump. Everywhere I looked it would be at minimum a week and when you need a pump, you generally need it quick.
Pool Geek had it to me within two days. Couldn’t ask for better service. Love this company.
I was skeptical about the open box. The pump and parts were all there. Had to fix the wiring to work with my system as this was slightly different configuration. Pump works great.
OptiFlo pumps for above ground pools feature a revolutionary design that delivers dependable high flow performance. The OptiFlo pump features a 48 frame-thru bolt motor, easy access to change the discharge port position, service the impeller, and an innovative Cam and Ramp lid.
The OptiFlo pump is available with 3 ft. cord, with a twist lock or standard plug.
The average inground pool pump will have a horse power between 0. 75 and 1. 5. The pump will also have a filter attached to it. The pool pump is used to circulate the water in the pool and to also keep the water clean.
Inground Pool Pumps
The average pool pump for an inground pool typically costs between $600 and $1,200, with the vast majority of inground pool pumps falling in the $700 to $800 range. The size of your pool, the type of pool you have, and the specific features and amenities you want in your pool pump will all play a role in how much your pool pump will cost.
Pool Pumps
There are a few different types of pool pumps for inground pools. The most common type is a single speed pool pump. This type of pump is the most affordable and is typically used for pools that are not used very often.
For pools that are used more frequently, a two speed or variable speed pool pump is a better option. These pumps are more expensive but will save you money in the long run by running more efficiently.
Above Ground Pool Pumps
There are many different types of pool pumps on the market, but inground pool pumps are typically larger and more powerful than above ground pool pumps. Above ground pool pumps are designed to circulate water in above ground pools, while inground pool pumps are designed to circulate water in inground pools.
Inground pool pumps are also typically more expensive than above ground pool pumps.
Inground Pool Pump Systems
There are a few things to consider when purchasing an inground pool pump. The size of your pool, the type of pool, and the features you need will all play a role in the pump you select.
The most important consideration is the size of your pool. You will need to know the dimensions of your pool in order to select the correct pump. The next thing to consider is the type of pool you have.
There are three main types of inground pools: concrete, fiberglass, and vinyl. Each type of pool has different requirements for the pump.
Concrete pools need a pump that is specifically designed for concrete pools. Fiberglass and vinyl pools can use a standard inground pool pump. The last thing to consider is the features you need. Some pumps come with additional features such as a built-in timer or a pre-filter.
These features are not necessary, but they can be helpful.
Now that you know what to consider when purchasing an inground pool pump, you can start shopping around. There are many different pumps on the market, so take your time to find the one that is right for you.
Above Ground Pool Pump Systems
There are several types of pool pumps that can be used for an inground pool. The most common type of pool pump is an above ground pool pump. These types of pool pumps are typically less expensive than inground pool pumps and are easier to install.
