Just got these this weekend. Couldn’t wait till next week when my stylist is going to help me learn some tips on how to wear them and possibly color match with some highlights. I love that the set comes with a color swatch tobtest before you open the seal of the main bag so if it’s not a match you can send back unopened.
This was extra nice because it’s in addition to the full set. So since my color match was perfect I have one extra two-inch piece! I’m a complete newbie at extensions. But I have very fine shoulder length hair.
The photo is of me using no mirror, no brush, no styling – just straight out the box following the instructions given on the little card! I love these! The hair is really soft and the texture and thickness blends perfectly with the fine hair I have.
I haven’t even styled them in the photo. Can’t imagine how awesome it will look when I do! Only teeny critique I have is that the longer (7” and 8”) segments still only have three clips. BUT! The kit comes with a couple extra clips that I suppose I could add in between the three existing ones.
I did use the color match suggestion to send a few photos and got very quick response to a number of emailed questions. She was honest and said that because of the lighting and my highlights she couldn’t really be certain, but suggested one color match.
I went on the website to look at the match and knew it probably was not going to match perfectly, but the color right next to it looked very similar. So she got me close to perfect and was really helpful and I totally appreciated her honesty! Can’t wait to wear these out! They blend so perfectly! And aren’t too heavy as I expected.
They stay in well even with my fine straight hair.
I was so excited to try this because I loved the idea of having just one piece. The quality is fabulous, but as is, I can’t use this extension. I took advantage of the color match service and ordered the Malibu Blonde based off the recommendation.
When it arrived, I used the test weft and it seemed to blend. However the tester is so small that in my opinion it doesn’t provide a very good idea of the overall match. Long story short, this extension looks hilariously wrong against my natural hair.
I plan to bring it to my hairdresser so she can work on matching the color, but I’m really disappointed about having to that that step. Again, the quality is lovely but I wish the test weft was larger to provide a better idea of blend, especially because it can’t be returned.

I had my mom, who is a hairdresser, put layers in them as well as cut one short so I was able to wear them all throughout my hair and my bangs!.
The hair is nice for a synthetic. It feels like real hair and even handles heat from a flat iron. I did have to smooth out with my flat iron and it didn’t melt or burn. I haven’t put water, shampoo, or any products on it, so I am not sure how it will hold up.

I was extremely excited about this purchase especially for someone like me to drop this much money on a beauty product (it never happens and honestly I rarely ‘spoil’ myself with frivelous purchases).
But after some health issues and a makeover gone wrong my hair hasnt been healthy so it had to be chopped fairly short. I decided to go red for a change and to compliment my now pale skin since my meds keep mw out of the sun.
I have been missing my long locks but everyone has advised against extensions since they pull and my thin hair doesn’t need any more obstacles when trying to grow back. So I was advised on the halo and unfortunately they only have ONE color for redheads.
So I got the pumpkin spice which isn’t horribly off. A few more washes and my hair will be close and if it is real hair my hairdresser can always dye it to match so I wasn’t too worried. But when I received it and put it on I sat and cried.
$300 for obnoxiously long yet thin pieces that fell to each side. They looked obviously fake like a cheap anime cosplay. My hair is fine more than thin but the bit part on the back where you can put the combs bunches so bad on my head that it is incredibly obvious I’m wearing something or I have a large tumor.
I am so incredibly disappointed. Ill continue to eat my vitamins and wait for my own hair to grow.
This is the second time I’ve ordered these extensions. I have both fine and extremely thin hair due to hairloss so I don’t need much. The first time I ordered I loved them. Compared to my old donnabella hair they blended much better.
The hairs were softer and finer so they matched my texture. But within a few months I noticed they were matting very easily even with extreme care. I figured that was just the price I had to pay for getting a hair closer to my texture, it would probably be more fragile.
I just ordered another set and I was disappointed. The ends taper so quickly and the bottom 4 inches or so have almost no hair. The hair is broken and different lengths; I don’t mind a little of that since that’s how real hair behaves, but this was extreme.
Every weft had tons of split ends even after trimming. As usual, color and installation were great. And I’m gonna wear them blended with some thicker extensions and hope I can make it work. Still very soft and shiny.
But I do feel like the quality has gone down, and particularly with a dark color I find that really disappointing. So we will see but I’ll probably switch brands for my next order.
Hair isn’t human hair at all. So dissatisfied and upset I wasted over $400 on hair that is being falsely advertised as human hair when is just Barbie doll hair. Hair separates in to thin sections and than each section clumps up making the hair look more like dreadlocks than anything else.
And when you try to comb/brush the hair or even pass your fingers through it, well let’s just say your fingers or the comb won’t get passed half way when it’s already stuck in knots. You can untangle the hair now and in the next 5 mins the hair is right back to as tangle as it was before you untangled it.
Like I am so so so disappointed with the quality of the hair. I’ve purchased real 100% bundles of hair donated from india and I’ve paid half of what I just paid with glam seamless. Like I literally could’ve purchased twice as much hair with what I spent with glam seamless.
This is what I get for trying something “new”. Lol never again.

Didn’t work well with my hair… colours are limited and though the one I purchased was closest to my colour, it’s still off a bit. Also not really made for people with shorter thicker hair. The pony extension doesn’t fully cover my natural ponytail so you can see all the shorter hair underneath which doesn’t look good at all.
Would be amazing if there was a pocket of some sort to tuck in the natural hair out of sight. For people with thinner hair, longer hair, and if your colour matches, I think it would be a great product though!.
The quality of the hair is amazing and I like everything about it except for 2 things. The ponytail I ordered has extra thickness and since it’s my fist time I didn’t know how thick it was! It’s thick! And I have thick hair lol so going to be exchanging it for a regular one.
For the Halo, I find that the clips on both sides of my head are sticking out of my head. Because I have straight hair it’s hard to cover it at all times, if my hair moves slightly back then you can sometimes see the nob from the clips.
The hair its self is of good quality, the hair is attached with a comb type grip which seems flimsy and then a ribbon. I have tried various ways of putting it in so that it seems secure but it is still pretty easy to pull full pony tail out with little effort and as a result it feels quite heavy on my head.
Really pleased with this hair extension. My daughter has Alopecia and this has really boosted her confidence as she has lost about 90% of her hair. Along with this and the root spray we use on her scalp, we manage to make her hair look presentable before she goes out.

Hey babes! I have really short layered hair and these actually look real in my hair. They are smooth and soft, very easy to put in. These are crazy affordable if you know anything about extensions. I curl and straighten mine as well and there is little to no damage.
I’m pleased! I just hate clip ins in general because it’s super embarrassing if they show. I find that these clips loosen a bit throughout wear.

They feel and look amazing at first.. then they frizz up and become trash. I would only recommend these for a short time.. like a special occasion etc. otherwise spend the money on something else. 🙂
They are cute. They are really shiny but you can use fabric softener and soak them in it for 5days then wash them and they have dulled a lot and the shine will be gone. I don’t really recommend trying to curl them or using heat on them.

I’m in my mid-40’s, my hair is naturally fine, & my natural ponytail never looks truly full. I just recently purchased a few of these hair extension products & I am hooked! I don’t have to worry about my natural hair looking perfect.
This is such an easy to use product when you’re in a rush. Word of caution if you don’t want it gradually slipping down your head throughout the day. You need to use a heavy duty, non-slip rubber band, in order to most comfortably secure the mini comb at the top of your natural pony under the rubber band & then velco the piece tightly around it, before wrapping it & securing the hair wrap with a few hairpins.
I use smaller, shorter brown ones than the 2 that are provided. I’ve received so many compliments on how much younger I appeared when wearing it & I feel like a Barbie doll with my ponytail mane. The coloring is natural & it’s soft like real hair & I put it all back in original packaging to store when not in use.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. However, the R6 wasn’t as dark as I had anticipated. My hair is deep dark brown but not so dark that I would have to choose black. I can get away using the hairpiece at night as well as indoors without a problem but outside during the day I can tell the slight color difference.
I really wish this would be a mix of R6 and a darker shade. Well, I wear it anyway because as far as the quality, I must say, I was totally impressed. Strangers have thought it was my real hair and my friends (who know it’s an extension) have thought I’ve paid lots for it.
Other sites have this same exact hairpiece for almost double the price so I’m glad I purchased it through Home Essentials Direct. Although the in the picture Jessica’s pony has slight waves, the actual piece does not.

I ended up returning it for several reasons. I felt the color was off, the shade did not match my hair and it was definitely the closest to my natural. Unless you have hair that is one color all over it will be difficult to find one that looks believable because the way they are highlighted does not line up with anyone’s actual hair.
They are also extremely heavy and do not stay in place on your head. If you have hair that is past your shoulders it will be nearly impossible to hide it or blend it in so that it’s not super obvious due to the way these ponytails are cut.
They are meant for people with super short or thin hair, my hair is to my mid-back when pulled into a ponytail and it looked ridiculous leaving it in a regular ponytail and the braid technique they recommend to “hide” the hair didn’t work due to my length and thickness.
I wasn’t impressed and don’t see anyone being able to wear these for an extended period of time without getting an extreme headache from the weight of it pulling on your scalp.
absolutely love the length it wax exactly as pictured. the waves were super cute and hair was soft and silky out of the packaging. downsides are that the hair tangles SUPER easy. just from doing minimal activity throughout the day i had to comb through it multiple times.
hair could have been a little thicker too, sometimes my hair would pop out from under the pony. overall definitely cute for like a every once in a while thing but i wish hair lasted a little longer and didn’t tangle so fast.
All in all fantastic pony and I would definitely recommend! Looks real, and has a nice soft feeling to it, as well as relatively easy to apply (only took me one or two tries before I figured out how to apply it).
However, it gets tangled really easily which is my only downside, and brushing it out with my regular brush seems to make it worse. I heard getting the emergency revival spray will fix this, so I plan on purchasing it.
Overall, great company and great quality hair especially for the price! Definitely saves me some time when I’m going out and want to do a quick look.

I purchased the 16inch milk chocolate set alongside the Voulumiser piece. As I have thick, shoulder length hair, and recently went back to my natural light ash brown hair colour. So overall 200g of hair for added volume, as I don’t like super long hair extensions, as I feel they look fake on me.
I was really impressed with the colour, and softness of the hair. The colour was beautiful & ashy and matched me perfectly, It was also silky soft. However the hair seems thinner to my last sets, and a bit scraggly at the ends, even with the Volumiser.
Its 200g worth of shoulder length hair for quite alot of money, so I did expect a bit more thickness. The hair also smelt a little plasticy. Have foxylocks recently changed suppliers? I’m going to wash & trim the hair & hopefully this helps the little issues, I will put up with this as the colour is amazing! Sorry to nitpick, I only took 1 star off, I just wanted to give some constructive feedback.

I have been using hair extensions for years and these are by far the best clip-ins I’ve ever used. Also defo the best extensions for blondes, This particular color Hollywood blonde is yellowish but I ordered them on purpose to tone them with the same toner I put on my hair (wella illumina 8/69 mixed with 10/69) and they are an exact match! I have silver platinum hair.
The Silver fox and Platinum ones didn’t tone as well cause they didn’t have the perfect yellow base for toner if that makes any sense to fellow hairdressers/blondes. I really recommend these, if you dont wear them alot aswell like me they last ages if you look after them.

I was not impressed with this product. I have used $100. 00 extensions to as little as $3. 00 extensions and this product is way over priced. The large clip slides off constantly and the hair gets frizzy after one day of use.

The color on the computer looks almost totally pale gray, so I was afraid I would get something too gray, but took the chance since it said it was a platinum blend. I know the computer screens can be deceiving about color matching, but this one plus the description plus name is very, very deceiving.
It’s very full and easy to use with the claw clip. I will try to take the claw clip out and see if that looks more natural. I’m waiting for my hair to grow out another inch or two so that I when I make my own ponytail, I can get all those shorter hairs from the bottom into the ponytail.
All in all, I’m happy with it although the color is a little off but not a show stopper. I would also like to see a shorter and less curly ponytail so I can order that.
this is the fourth ponytail i have bought and up until now , i have more or less liked than all, and they do save me with my very thin hair. BUT! Straight out of the box i new this one was a disaster.
The clip part is HUGE, sticks right out of your head and it’s heavy. If that were not enough, the hair is out and out super-shiny, almost neon shiny, so it is about as real looking as if i put a brown-dyed string mop on my head.
