Description promised 60 cards, I received 59. The missing one was the holographic charizard. I would have liked to have known about its omission before making the purchase. The remaining commons are of sufficient quality, if not slightly warped.
I have already written to mastermind with no response but since you sent me this review email, I’ll respond again – my son purchased this package using his own money and when we went to curbside he was told there are 2 different packages of Pokémon cards under the same bar code.
The one he thought he purchased ( Pikachu) had been sold out for months yet was still advertised as available, in the moment ( and after a longer car ride to go get it) he felt obliged to take the one offered even though it wasn’t what he wanted.
The salesman had no solution for him either- he would have to go online to get a return but no support there while in person. This will be our last purchase from mastermind. Given the lack of response from mastermind, the poor customer service and the unsolicited emails, I will not be supporting them any further.
So they clearly show 2 decks, charizard and drednaw. I clearly selected the charizard and it was showing as available in waterloo location. I buy the charizard deck and drive all the way down the store and they give me the drednaw.
They said although you pick the charizard they give you the one that is avilable from the 2 decks. My suggestion: dont buy here if they can’t tell the difference between 2 decks. I understand that maybe the lady in the store didn’t know the difference, but I emailed their customer service and they replied “you get whatever is available, not what you select and pay”.

This is a great theme deck. My 6 year old bought it and is able to play and beat me and my 11 year old. (We don’t play with weakness–my fire decks would burn this grass deck) It’s easy to play but has excellent strategies, including an energy accelerator, card draw options, high hitting stage 2 and basic pokemon.
All in all, it’s an easy to play, powerful, versatile deck.
Worked great until one day it stopped working. My son had been playing it for 10 minutes then it just started smoking and went black. Other games work fine on our switch. waste of 60 bucks! I guess ours was just a dud.
I think that the Cinderace theme deck is the most mediocre of the bunch. Its not terrible, but not amazing by any means. This deck, nonetheless is very fun to play and can be upgraded with the better Cinderace.

Package was a tad squished. Upon further investigation I come to believe it has been opened from side then glued back. Plastic container had no back which it would from an unopened pack also the deck case top was loose in a new, unopened pack the deck is sealed in plastic.

This theme deck has Pokémon go written all over it but only contains 2 Pokémon go cards that are not trainers. 1 of which is the mew you see in the window. The rest of the Pokémon, energy and some of the trainers are NOT Pokémon go! I wouldn’t have wasted my money on random cards from different sets if I knew this!!.

Was able to get one. Bought this one for my son. I don’t know whats going on with this Pokémon world. It is so hard to get a Pokémon card set at Best Buy. Online there is nothing and if you go to the store they don’t have anything.
If you ask for it at the store , they look at you differently. It has become so hard to even get a gift for your child.
Really disappointed with the purchase. Doesn’t have any good cards and the price is so high. I can’t even return it because the package is such that I have to tear it to see the cards.
