So far we have had it for a month and within this month we have used it 3 times for 3 different parties one had at least 8 kids running up and down it and worked great. I would say you definitely want to put on even ground and if you don’t have a good water pressure on your hose the extra center spray thingys won’t work as well.

But it has been amazing, money well spent!!.

Seems very expensive for what it is. Also was supposed to come with a repair kit and some pegs, but neither of those were actually included. Fortunately I had some suitable pegs. Apart from the above whinges, the slide has proved great fun in the garden.

This was a giant pain in the butt to put together. The metal plates didnt line up properly with the holes on the slide halves. We had to grab the drill for the slide holes to help the bolts line up. Lining the bolts up through both plates and slide halves wasnt But after it was installed, its a slide and the kids enjoy it.

While the slide was entertaining, it required A LOT of upkeep while in use. We were constantly retaping the provided tabs with the “Gorilla duct tape” that was recommended. The kids would use it once and the we would have to retape half of the tabs to keep the slide in place.

fun for the kids. not so much fun for the adults. We used it on a hill with an incline about the same as pictured on the box. Also, you will definitely need at least 2 water sources. We had 2 sprinklers, and that seemed to work fine.

Last, the price is absolutely not worth it. Out of the box, I’d say I only should have paid $50 or $60 dollars for it.

The kids love it! It did call for Gorilla tape (not included), which I don’t think it tells you in the description – unless I missed it? I just used regular duct tape. And it does take a while setting it up for the first time with the duct tape and spiking it in the ground, but after that, you get the hang of it.

I also recommend having rafts or something they can ride down on.

Our house is now the envy of the neighborhood. Kids come out of the woodwork to play on the slip and slide. I would say very durable considering the 4 times weve had it out so far there has been a minimum of 10 kids playing on it at a time.

This slide is great fun for the whole family! It’s a decent width and length and the material seems strong. We’ve used it a number of times already and there have been no tears.

We bought this for our 4th of July BBQ for the neighborhood kids and it was a huge hit! The sliding rafts are large enough for bigger kids and very durable. We also appreciated the stakes to hold the slide in place.

We put the slide on a small incline and had to come up with a makeshift wall at the end to protect the kids since they goy going so fast. We used some other inflatables that worked great. The kids are already asking when we can get it out again! Definitely worth the money when I consider all the throw away slides that were a one and done we bought in the past.

We have tried SEVERAL slip and slides. This by far has been the best value and most durable. It is heavy but very easy to set up. We live in Florida. To me it’s very important to make sure these outdoor water slides, pools, or even water guns are completely dry before folding up and storing.

It is a process but it does fold up nicely and store in a tote just right. We love this so much we actually got one to add to it. We hope this company comes out with a little pool that you could attach to the end.

This is the absolute best slip and slide my husband and I have ever bought! While it is an investment, it is 100% worth it because of the quality. I would reccomend buying this to any who’s even mildly interested.

For perspective’s sake, we bought one, loved it so much, and went back to buy another! They can connect, so we now have a 50 foot slip and slide!.

The water slide that we purchased is sturdy, high quality construction, and the grandkids are loving it. It was easy to assemble also. We purchased the cool wave slide and a pool ladder to attach it to.

The water hose hooked right to it and we mounted it at the top of the slide for continuous water going down the slide. It has been great entertainment for all the kids.

Our grandkids find it a lot of fun. Sturdy. More than enough hardware received to put it together.

This slide is quite simply a bad idea. It doesn’t work properly as it doesn’t build any pressure. When you come to pack it away it takes forever to get all the water out. And it is way to much hassle for a very limited amount of fun for the kids.

Three problems :1. Not slippery at all 2. It keeps moving while you playing even I used pegs 3. Water doesn’t pop even if we turned up faucet to maximum

I bought this for my son in the hot weather. The water connector was not good enough to allow sufficient water pressure to fully inflate the edges of the slide. Once we’d changed this to a Hoselock connector it worked brilliantly and my son loves it.

We just purchased with swing (in blue) for our 6 yr old. She absolutely loves it. She will spend so much time just laying on it relaxing and swinging. We had originally 2 swings on our play set so we removed one to put this swing up.

Bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it! It was super easy to put together and now she has another option instead of a standard swing. I would definitely recommend!

It’s a slide and it works as a slide. I mounted it to a 5′ tall platform hence why I wanted to 10′ slide. The only issue is that it states it’s 10′ long, but no matter how I measure it doesn’t equal 10′.

It has more of an angle than I think it should for something that should be of proper length. The store was very polite and called the warehouse to find out. They said they measure the waves, so I measured that way as well, but still came up short.

I would only recommend this item if you are mounting to 4′ 6″ or less.

My kids really wanted me to get this for them I was skeptical at first as to how long it would last them but so far so good they have used it a handful of times and it’s still works really great they have had so much fun! Especially with the water balloons they’re able to have little competitions although they did finish those on the first use we have had to keep buying them those,.

But overall it’s a great summer activity, even my 3 year old niece enjoys it!.

What could make a water slide better? Water balloons at the end! Such a neat idea to cool off from our Florida summer heat. My 9 year old loves the Bunch O’Balloons and it just made it more fun to use them with the slide.

Buying the water balloon refills make it easy to use time and again.

My kids love their slip and slide. I have 2 so they challenge each other to see who can make it first. Who ever wins they grab a balloon and toss it at the other. We have a nice slope in our yard so its helpful to get them moving.

We have a lot of fun with it and its a lot easier then setting up a pool.

I purchased this to replace a similar board (without the wave) that had cracked at the screws and was tearing clothing. The slide is designed for a 4 ft high platform. It was wonderfully used by my grandchildren on a recent visit.

It would have been helpful if a slight angle had been placed in the final 2 inches where the screws are placed. The plastic has to be slightly forced into place with the screws placing extra stress on the plastic which could lead to fatigue and breaks in the future.

Pros: easy to install. durableCons: Attachment site had to bend slightly when screws placed. May increase risk of fatigue and breakage hopefully far in the future.

The Alpine wave slide came very timely. Delivery was free. It was very easy to install. It did not come with the hardware to install the slide to my swing set. Had to find the type of hardware it called for at Home Depot.

my great nephews are really enjoying the water slide. they are getting exercise healthy activity as well as cooling off during this recent heat wave. I enjoy getting them quality gifts that they can get lots of pleasure from.

Glad it was on sale because we had to throw it away after one use. It was a good water slide while it lasted. The kids had a good time on it for a few hours until it got a hole in it. The little pool at the end was a nice touch though so they just played in that after.

It was fun for a day or so. we bought this to entertain our girls (7&10) while we got our pool set up. They liked it but it didn’t hold their interest long. I believe there was a leak near the hose connection which made the water piddle out of the end rather than spray out.

Giving it 2 stars because my kids did play with it but I definitely wouldn’t buy one again.

I absolutely love the way these clear kids pair with the white boxes from clear bags. They make my cookie sets look very stunning. The kids are all very clean and glossy.

Since it is February when I am writing this review, we didn’t get a chance to utilize the “wet” aspect yet of the Little Tikes Wet & Dry First Slide. Although we plan to once the weather warms up. So I will focus on the “dry” part.

First, the slide is very colorful and attractive. My almost 3 year old got super excited when it arrived. The slide requires no tools and snaps together fairly easily. Just be sure that the ladder and handles actually “snap” together because, while I thought I had done that, my daughter was able to pull one of the handles off on her way down the slide.

So listen for that “snap. ” I like the wide base of the ladder. It makes it easier for smaller children to climb up. The ladder isn’t too high, but just enough for small children. As for the plastic slide, it isn’t soo steep.

The slide is fun once you get it going. My daughter had a hard time sliding at first. It seemed that she got stuck about mid-way so we remedied that with a sheet of wax paper. I had her slide down with that a few times and that made the slide more slippery.

The “dry” slide is great for indoors or outdoors. I am sure it is even better once you add water. Again, while we didn’t get to use the slide with water, I did read the instructions and they seem pretty straightforward with regard to attaching the hose to the slide and velocro-ing the vinyl slide to the plastic one.

I like how the instructions also include directions for storing the slides, since I am sure that this will be one toy that will be used over and over again!.

We received this product in January in Indiana so we haven’t yet had a chance to test out the slip and slide portion of the slide. The materials seem to be well made compared to other sprinklers and water play activities we have had in the past.

One of the biggest advantages is the size. My six year old is average size and most slides of this type are starting to be too small for him. His first comment when we tested it out was, “This slide is actually my size!” It works great for my three year old as well.

Right now the slide is in our basement and allowing the kids to burn off extra energy while we wait for better weather to take it outside. The only disadvantage that we have had so far was that the handles were hard to attach permanently.

Only after a ton of pressure were we able to get them to finally click into place. Otherwise easy to assemble and plenty sturdy for our active kids.

While we did not hook in the water yet (considering we just got a foot of snow) I set up the slide in the backyard among the snow drifts. Both my kids were squealing with glee as they packed snow onto the slide to slide down.

The slide itself is very well made, easy to put together and store. The extra plastic ‘waterslide’ bit is as sturdy as a standard slip n slide. Think outside the box if you don’t care for the plastic slide at the base of the big slide, there is so much more you can do with the slide then just using the attached plastic! Little Tykes products are timeless, well made, and will last and last and last.

After reading other reviews, I anticipated assembly of slide to be a pain. It was not. Included screws for joining two halves were long enough. I just had to be a bit patient. Written instructions were clear and sufficient.

I did use a longer screw to attach the bottom of the slide to the sunken anchor, but it would not have been necessary. The slide looks great, and it is a nice addition to our elevated playhouse. My daughter loves it! It appears durable.

The 250lb capacity must be for several small children; the width of the slide precludes it’s comfortable use by any adults I know. The slide is FAST. The curve is sufficiently banked for safety, but plan to have a good sized landing area.

I recommend this product without reservation.

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because of the green handles. I see all the reviews saying they constantly pop off. If that’s happening, it’s because you don’t have it clicked in on both ends.

And that’s probably because it’s extremely hard to do!!! I suggest attaching the handles before the legs regardless of what the directions say. You need full view from the underside of the slide. Also the sides of the handles protrude out as you push them on which keeps them from going on easily.

I took a sharp knife and cut some of that off so it would stop bowing out on me. After fighting for at least 30 minutes, I was finally able to get them popped on right! It’s such an important part since kids climbing up the ladder are going to pull on these two pieces.

It really needs to be made better. With all that being said, my 2 year old son loves this slide so much. We haven’t even showed him the water feature yet, but I can’t wait. :).

As typical of Little Tykes, this slide is sturdy and well made. A preferred distinguishing feature of this particular slide is the way it levels out at the bottom. This prevents the child from landing on the ground.

Another safety feature is the raised handles at the top of the slide. These help minimize the risk of the small child falling sideways. The slide stands independently with stability. Having the option to connect a water hose for outdoor use will be great in the warmer weather.

It is easy to clean. My grandson has enjoyed his slide indoors and out-of-doors.

My little grand-peanut Loves his little slide! We got it for his 1st birthday in January and was waiting for the warmer weather to put it together outside to use on warm days. We put the slide together but there were no tubes to be able to hook up a hose for the water feature.

This is why we bought this version and not the standard version, so he could water slide into his little pool. I have looked, but not able to locate on the website where replacement parts (or parts at all ) could be ordered for the slide.

Otherwise, the slide is great for his age and development, we just need the tubing to enjoy it’s full potential!.

We have a Gorilla play set in our play yard that the grandkids have enjoyed for 6 years. We just bought another slide. Always high quality products that I trust to keep my grandchildren safe while they have fun!.

Got this for my grandson who is 18mnths old although he can’t climb the steps unaided it is something to grow with. Easy to put together and would definitely recommend it. There were cheaper ones at a local budget store but not as sturdy as this one.

I feel that the curved slide gives it added stability.

We bought this for our 3 year old grandson, who loved it. We put cushions at the bottom to give him a soft landing. Building it was easy until it came to the middle section of the slide, which was quite tricky to get the screws lined up.

It only needs a tiny amount of water from the hose.

Slide is ok dry but if running it as a water slide you would need a pool the whole length of the slide anything smaller would waste all the water as the safety bar underneath the slide stops the bottom to fall into a smaller pool ,not the thing in these times of conservation and recycling.

A bit disappointing really.
