A red dot sight is a common type of reflector (reflex) sight for firearms, and other devices such as airsoft guns and paintball markers. Red dot sights are considered an improvement over iron sights because they allow the user to keep both eyes open while looking through the sight, and they give the user an unobstructed view of the target.
These sights use an illuminated red dot as the aiming reticle, so the user does not need to align the front and rear sights.

Truglo – Red-Dot Sight – Crossbow, 30mm 3 Dot Black
Truglo’s 30mm Crossbow Red Dot sight features click windage and elevation adjustments and an integrated Weaver-style mounting and lanyard system. The lanyard system helps to prevent loss of screw-down W/E caps.
It comes with see-thru flip-up lens caps, is optical-quality, and is water and fog proof.
Over the span of a few years, I’ve tried more than a few optics. Some had six or more reticles. Some had one. Others were just not clear or gave consistent results. This red dot sight by Truglo is different.
The 2. 5MOA dot is precice and very clear. The 2 power lens is very clear and void of any sort issues. I’m 68, with only one working eye. Used the Frank Proctor 10m zero, and it then put three into the same hole at 50m after initial zero.
Then at 100m, three in under an inch! I haven’t shot that well since I was in my 30’s! A very solid, and precice optic sight. My trial and errors are over. This optic sight has filled the void of some years of frustration and failure.
Truglo has produced a remarkable and affordable sight.
I was pleasantly surprised by this optic, especially considering its affordable price point. I have a few Bushnell TRS-25’s, but I wanted to try out an optic with a donut style reticle, and with a reticle color option other than red.
Red tends to wash out on orange targets, such as clay pigeons, while green washes out in foliage, so having the option to change back and forth between red and green reticle colors is a nice feature.
I also liked the extra battery compartment feature, a nice plus. I mounted the optic to a 5. 56mm caliber rifle equipped with back-up iron sights, and utilized a set of 1/2 inch risers to obtain an absolute co-witness in conjunction with the iron sights.
I first zeroed the irons @ 50 meters, and then turned the elevation and windage turrets on the TruGlo RDS to align with the tip of the front sight post. The turrets click positively with adjustment. The 3 moa center dot is precise enough to allow for easy use on smaller targets, and I enjoyed first round hits on all of the 20 clay pigeons I placed @ 100 meters.
The green reticle setting allowed for a nice contrast on the target, and the maximum brightness setting was crisp and clear in bright midday sun. The glass is clear, and no lens distortion was observed in the field of view.
The optic retained its zero without issue through the ~180 rounds I fired through the rifle.
The 6390RDS holster is specifically designed for firearms with red dot sights mounted to them. This open top holster features the Automatic Locking System (ALS ), an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions with no straps or snaps to manipulate.
Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place. The holster is completely operable with the thumb and once the ALS is deactivated a simple straight up draw is used. Features a low-ride belt loop that is 1.
5″ lower than standard, rides close to the body, and has a suede lining to protect the gun’s sights and finish.
Purchased one for my Glock 19 for ccw carry. Received it and first thing I noticed was the round part under tension screw jingles like a bell almost. You can’t screw the tension screw in to make it snug to stop the jingling without making it so tight you can’t even get the pistol in the holster.
I left it back out but noticed from a couple draws it was also leaving marks on my slide of the pistol. They also only put suede lining on one side. Kinda defeats the purpose to use it on one side only.
Had to return it. Just to many issues for the cost and not functional for concealed carry when the thing jingles as you walk. Going to keep searching.
I purchased this holster when Midway had it on sale. For the sale price, it was an unbeatable deal – so much so that I bought another one just so that I could have one with the paddle and one with the belt loops and not have to change them.
Still paid less for both than many other concealment holsters. Both holsters have good retention although one “snaps in” more than the other. Since retention is adjustable (and a wrench is provided as usual with Safariland holsters) that’s not a huge deal.
My only beef with these holsters is the Safariland paddle. It’s a pain to get on and a bigger pain to take off. The paddle grips far too well and the hook mounted to the holster catches on clothing, making it a real struggle to remove.
Still, this is a decent holster and well worth the sale price.
Great replacement for another paddle holster I had also by Safariland. The material used and secure locking feature of molding makes one confident the gun will stay in holster. I tested the retention with unloaded gun by holding it upside down after adjusting the tension screw and it didn’t fall out.
There is a technique to putting it on and taking it off easily. Go to Safariland website for a video demo. This model doesn’t use one of Safariland’s patented retention devices since it is an open top holster.
I always carry concealed so an open top holster was OK for me. If you open carry check out other models by Safariland/Midway which have patented release.

Fast shipping and low prices, however I received a lot of defective contacts in my order. A lot of my contacts (more so the left ones than the right) were pretty blurry when I’d wear them. At least 2 weeks worth of contacts (so far).
After taking a closer look, I realized they’re defective. A lot of my contacts came out of the package with scratches on them. According to Webeyecare’s policy, I have to send 85 lenses out of the 90 back to them to see if they’re deemed defective, and even if I did get refunded, it would only be store credit which I wouldn’t want to order from here again anyways.
Also, I don’t even have the 85 lenses to send them because I started noticing this a month into using the product. It’s a useless policy if you ask me.
I made the switch based on the recommendation from my doctor. My old contacts felt like I was wearing uncomfortable itchy pants, and now I feel like I am wearing something tailored for my body. Extremely comfortable, light, and easy to wear.
However, just check with your doctor and get a sample before making the switch. Eyes are not a one size fits all (lol).
It took me more than 30 minutes to take these out, leaving my eyes very red and irritated. When I looked closely, I saw that they were sticking to my eyeball because when I tried to move it around, it moved my eyeball with it.
I eventually had to literally peel them off by sliding my nail under an edge. They were comfortable to wear and I had no trouble putting them in, but I will never wear them again because taking them out is traumatizing.

My order was great! I’ve ordered from here for a little over a year and they have the best price for the contact lenses I wear. The only downfall is the shipping. Make sure to never wait until the last minute as I have found their shipping can take a little long.
Other than that, they are great!! No problems and the best price I’ve found!.

New 1-DAY Acuvue Moist for astigmatism are daily toric contact lenses from Johnson & Johnson. Exclusive LACREON technology locks in a moisture rich ingredient that remains in the lens right to the end of the day when tired eyes need it most.
The production of lenses with certain parameters has been terminated. It is therefore not possible to order the parameters which are not shown. The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea from the dangerous ultraviolet radiation.
However, lenses do not cover the entire eye or eye area, so the combination of contact lenses that have UV filter and sunglasses is the ideal protection against harmful UV rays.
I am a teenager and have been Using these Contact Lenses for 3 months, my expirence so far has been good I put them in at 8am in the morning and typically remove after 7-8 hours I start to feel them in my eyes around the 6 hour mark.
The lenses are so thin they are not felt within the eye and are really comfortable for long wear. These are an excellent lense for daily wearers however the price is a fairly expensive (£40 for 30 Pairs) so I opted for monthly after a few months which were active oasys which in my personal expirence is better and more comfortable.
I am part of the contact lens scheme where a subscription is in place and the delivery is always around the same 2-3 days a month which is a plus as there is no hassle for reordering lenses however I personally like ordering my lenses in bulk as vision expirence have excellent offers which are quite frequent so I stock up for 3-6 months.
After using Alcon AquaComfort Plus Dailies for the past year or two, I decided to try Acuvue Moist for a change. Bad choice. I found that the Acuvue lenses are not as stable as the Alcon brand, indeed shifting position on my eye repeatedly throughout the day.
The edges are very thin which might be more comfortable if they didn’t fold over so easily while trying to spin them back into the correct toric position. I find myself constantly blinking, squinting, and rolling my eyes to get them in place again.
The lenses were so thin and cheap they would constantly fold over on themselves and was very difficult to get in the eye. So thin compared to other contacts I’ve tried. I did not even order this brand but that is what came.
I am very disappointed with this item and will never order them again. Second order that was mixed up by Clearly first my prescription was wrong then the wrong brand. Ordering form Clearly has not been a good experience.

I have very sensitive, dry eyes. Until recently, I was using Cooper ClearSight dailies. They were terrible. For years I thought they were the best out there, because that’s what my optometrist at the time told me.
Recently, they were discontinued (probably because they were terrible), and I decided to do my own research. These had the best reviews for sensitive, dry eyes. The first day wearing them, I was amazed.
The lenses weren’t too flimsy, but they felt weightless on my eyes, and they were so comfortable I forgot I had them on! I didn’t know contact lenses could feel so comfortable. However, I did use copious amounts of eye drops as I was putting them in.
The next day, when I didn’t use additional eyedrops, they were noticeably less comfortable all day. These hold moisture remarkably well, but if you have dry eyes you’re going to have to use eye drops at the start of the day.
Love this product, with one problem! The first pair I opened, one for right eye, supposedly. -3. 00, and one for left eye, -1. 00, were NOT the correct prescription! Both were too strong! I made it through about 4 hours, but I could not see any distance.
So sharp that I could see too clearly up close with the right contact!! And a total blur, up close with the left contact! I was very concerned about returning all the rest! However, next two days of both were the correct contact!!.
I tired each of the Oasys, Moist, and True Eye contacts from the Acuvue brand for 90 days. I found that the Oasys was stiffer then the other two and was really durable but takes a while to get use to for all-day wear.
While it is meant claims to keep your eyes hydrated all day, I had some minor drying issues. Once I got use to them, they were a nice contact. Acuvue Moist are a very lite weight contact. For the most part they are very comfortable and I can’t feel them but thin, which proved difficult for putting in on a daily basis.
I would not recommend them for new wearers. Acuvue True Eye is lite but have a sturdier structure then the Acuvue Moist. For me personally, I like these the best because they are really comfortable and are easy to put in.

The lens are very soft and it stick on my finger more than on my eye. At first I have difficulty putting it on, as it kept laying flat on my finger and not sticking onto my eye. After a long struggle with it, finally I manage to put it on.
It was very comfortable and I totally don’t feel anything on my eye at all for the first 2hrs. However, the comfort doesn’t last for very long, after 2hrs of wearing, I started to feel dryness and the lens nearly falling out of my eye.
I will need to keep wetting it with an eyedrop for the rest of the day. I feel regret of buying this as it is not cheap at all with compared to other brands. I thought this is recommended for long day used as reading on the description of the product, but very sad to say it is totally disappointment.
I hope to get a refund on this item if possible because it is not as described! I have also tried J&J Acuvue Oasys for Pressbyopia, it is really good. It can really last me for more than 8hrs with no need of used with any eyedrop at all.
Plus the price is much cheaper than Proclear multifocal XR. I highly recommended Acuvue Oasys!.
I have been wearing Proclear contacts the day they came out on market. I started being nearsighted, then a vision change so my doctor recommended me to do mono vision( one eye reading & the other eye distant) Proclear-They have much more water & imitate the outside of eye.
So my eyes are always moist. So presently, due to iPhone & holding phone closer then a book. The vision changed again. Now I’m using these proclear multifocals. It’s the same as the mono in the center, then the next ring is mid range(computer distance) The last ring is: on the reading eye the outside ring is distance & the distance eye has a ring for reading.
It works! They are the best contacts I have been wearing. I have tried others with different materials each time I go back to Proclear. I recommend if your eyes are dry & going through vision changes.
Ps. Discount contacts lenses. Had the best prices & delivery is great.
I have used Proclear Multi-Focals for several years and was very happy that something was available for a multi-focal need. Since 2012, I have notice a significant change in how the contacts perform, have limited use and longevity.
The contact lenses do not last as long as they did. They tear easy, wear out faster, and do not obtain a good fit for very long. Additionally, I find myself needing to re-wet and re-clean throughout the day in order to have better performance and comfort.
I contacted Cooper who manufactures the product, and discussed this in length. We did confirm I am using the product correctly, and following all steps prior to and after use. They were willing to replace what I purchased.
In this past week, I opened a new set only to find by day 4 and 7 use, one contact had a tear and the other a wear problem. I have now resorted back to eyeglasses and only use the contacts for travel and other situations that make eyeglass wear more challenging because I do not want to spend money for contacts that do not last the 30 days with normal use.
A few years ago I wrote a raving review about the Cooper product and the Supplier EZ Contacts. Since that time, I will say EZ Contact’s service has remained consistent and that is why I chose to purchase from them.
However, the Cooper product- Proclear Multifocal has not remained consistent. I base that on the fact that My current eye exams and contact need remain the same- so nothing has changed there. The contacts that performed well for several years, do not perform well now.
Will be looking for another brand to do the job needed. Cons: Tear easily, Compromises Vision, Sub-standard Quality, Frequent cleaning, Feel dry, Do Not Last Best Uses: Travel, Activities and sports Describe Yourself: Experienced wearer.
I recently tried to order these contacts through my obstetrician’s office but was told there was a manufacturer shortage due to Covid and they would be on back order for up to a couple months. I then asked for my prescription so I could check to see if ezcontacts had them in stock, which they did.
I have only ever bought glasses from here because I always wait until the last minute to reorder contacts and usually need a trial pair to hold me over until my contacts come in which is usually about 10 business days.
Due to covid they didn’t even have trial pairs to offer. But, not only did ezcontacts have my contacts in stock they also have a few different options for shipping, I ordered my contacts on Tuesday afternoon, I picked the $14 2 day shipping and I received them in my mailbox Thursday.
Let’s get real. that’s faster than “Prime” ships. I don’t think I will ever buy my glasses or contacts from anyone else again. Oh and my contacts were $15 cheaper per box (6 contacts each) than from my dr’s office.
I have used this product in the past, and the major plus this time?!? Dealing with Perfect Lens was the BEST experience yet! Prices are right! Service was prompt! And I got exactly what I need without any additional “fitting” appointments, or the hassle of the store messing up the order, or even forgetting to place the order! I had waited on the doctors office for over a month!!! Then I decided to give Perfect Lens a try.
I will NEVER order from the doctors office EVER again!!! Thank you Perfect Lens!.
Read some negative reviews regarding allergies to this product. I thought it was isolated. Ordered these and they arrived promptly. Excited to try these on due to many comparing this product to acuvue oaysis for comfort.
Pretty comfy throughout the day but worked for more than 8 hrs came home after 10+ hours of wear, both eyes were bloodshot. Immediately removed them and the redness was gone the next day. Tried it one other time with similar results.
I think I might be one of the few that is allergic.
