20 Best Pink Lipsticks For Fair Skin (2023 Updated)

I’m giving 1 star only for the formulation of this product as it is moisturizing, lasts longer than other lipsticks and also has great ingredients. However, I’ve purchased several of these lipsticks and despite their descriptions, they all seem to be some variation of a berry tone.

This “Taupe” shade is definitely that – a taupe with a hint of berry undertone. I do like berry shades but currently am trying to rid myself of a massive accumulation of them due to continually selecting the “wrong” shade based on incorrect descriptions AND inaccurate photos.

No, there is nothing honey or pink coloured about this lipstick, nor does it look anything like the photo, which is what I thought I was getting (ditto for “Rosewood”). “Dune”, on the other hand, is EXACTLY what its description states- PLATINUM.

So do you go with the name of the product or the description/photo? Very confusing, frustrating and I don’t think anyone really loves wasting money on lipstick this way.

I received Clay. It is a deeper brownish nude with some hints of mauve/purple. When it wears off, a nice natural stain is present. It seems like a long lasting formula, as it doesn’t slide off my lips and I don’t have to reapply until after a few hours.

It goes on creamy and my lips feel moist, never dry. I am trying more colors by this brand. I emailed their reps for color recommendation and they are very helpful. I like that this is a cruelty free brand with natural ingredients.

Its very smooth, stays on super well and doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin.

I got this free from Influenster and Tom Ford in exchange for my honest review. I got the shade Scarlet Rouge, it’s a nice brighter cool-toned red. I normally wouldn’t have bought something expensive like this and I probably won’t be wearing this that often because it’s such bright and bold color but it’s really nice! The satin finish is really comfortable and the packaging it’s really nice, has a nice weight to it, definitely luxurious.

On the first try, I used chapstick under and I wasn’t a fan of it. It made the color look more orange and it took a while to build up the color. But the second try, I applied it without chapstick and it was great, the color payoff is amazing! it’s very comfortable and surprisingly moisturizing.

But after a couple of hours, the moisturizing feel kind of wore off, it was still moisturizing but it felt like how my lips normally would feel without chapstick. It transferred a little bit onto my mask and didn’t survive much eating and drinking throughout the day but that’s a given because it’s a regular lipstick.

Also applying it as the tad bit difficult just because my lips would hit/bump the bottom ridge on the casing and I didn’t want to screw the lipstick all the way up Tips: Exfoliate before, moisturize 30 mins to an hour before, and use a lip liner for crisp clean edges Overall, really enjoyed this, maybe I’ll try a darker color!.

I have been a long-time fan of NYX lip products for years now. I recently purchased a color as a replacement for one that had reached its end. The overall wear is great. Last for hours – especially if not eating or drinking often.

If you are eating and drinking, you may want to reapply for a fresh look. It’s not drying (however I base all lipstick I wear with vaseline). The price point is good. Easy to remove as well, doesn’t stain lips.

Overall, it’s a really good lipstick.

I got the shade Teddy Bare after hearing good things about it. I have very pale lips so every lipstick looks darker on me, and Teddy Bare shows up as a red-brick brown. It’s the perfect color for fall.

The formula is moisturizing, light, and comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t last long, but non-matte lipsticks never do. It does fade well, though, and fades into a stain. My main con with this is the smell.

It smells like a cherry flavored Chapstick that has been sitting at the bottom of an old lady’s purse for 5 years, huddled next to a cheap floral perfume. My other Milani lipsticks smell like vanilla, so I’m not sure why Milani thought this was a good idea??.

I don’t wear makeup daily so when I do apply it I prefer a soft natural look, if you can tell I’m wearing it, I did it wrong. My appearance caught up to my age after a long fight with cancer. No where is that more evident than my eyebrows, eyelids and around my lips.

In very short order I looked like a toddler who had raided mummy’s makeup case, not exactly the look I was going for! As the product is advertised to be a lipstick that stays put I can only surmise this was a “bad batch” and will try a different color in the product line.

I am so relieved and happy to see violet volt back!! It is the most unique color I have ever used!! I’m half Italian and a quarter Greek ; It pairs perfectly with my olive skin tone!!I still enjoy using a lot of the other colors ! This will always be my favorite, my first love for lip color! I think this is a great deal and gift for a teen or young adult. This is also a good calendar for someone just starting out with makeup. They have wearable lib shades and one pot eyeshadows. My daughter loves to look at my big pallets but she’s intimidated by the size of them and doesn’t know which color to use dirt.

The single eyeshadows are great because she can practice a one shadow look! She’s better than I am with the liner. Maybe Nyx can come out with an advance advent calendar for people who are comfortable using make-up and want to try new trends and products but don’t know want to spend a lot on buying the stuff separately.

Example; intense eye Advent calendar with unique color eye shadows, different color eye liners, eye primer, lashes, etc. inside to open each day. Or extreme lip advent calendar with some wearable colors but also shock colors, mattes, metallics, concealer to ombré lips, lip liners, lip mask, etc.

So disappointed!!! I bought 3 different colors of this, and while the colors are very pretty, glides on easily, it’s formulation doesn’t stick to lips! I tried all 3 that I bought, and each one was off my lips in less than 30 minutes.

Another annoying thing was that, none of the tubes twisted properly to open. At first I thought it was just the first one that may have been defective, but when I tried the others, none of them would catch, to dispense the lipstick.

I try not to associate lower cost with cheaper quality, but I must say, this is one of those times when that is exactly what I received, a cheap product for a cheap price. :(.

Pretty happy with this advent calendar. Lipsticks are great! Powder is great! I have a question though: the box contains 1 eyeshadow and 5 pressed pigment shades which can not be used on or around the eye.

bummer. Where should one put this? I had hoped it were eyeshadows too. Also I find the illumninators not so easy to blend. Any suggestions?.

Beautiful square shaped slightly reflective rose gold plastic lipstick tube with the shade name down one side of the lid. Tube feels sturdy yet lightweight, cap fits snug, not too tight but not lose either.

It definitely won’t be popping open in your purse and ruining the lining and other contents of your purse! Shade “I define beauty myself” is a beautiful dark pink, it’s labeled as a dusty rose but it doesn’t pull that way on me however I feel this shade would look great for all varieties of skin tones.

Long wearing, non drying, non feathering and super comfortable formula. I’m not a fan of traditional bullet lipsticks as they tend to be drying to my lips so I’m more of a gloss girl but this one is the exception! I would call it a natural finish as it’s not matte, but doesn’t quite have the shine to be a satin.

Doesn’t settle in lip creases either. Seriously loving this lipstick and will definitely be getting more from the brand. I highly recommend!.

I recieved REALHER NO FILTER MOISTERIZING LIPSTICK in my September monthly subscription of boxycharm. I had never heard of this company prior to recieving my box, but I am so glad to know about it now after trying this product out.

I love the color. The formula is the best, I have never loved a lipstick this much. The application is easy and feels and looks smooth and creamy. It really makes my lips feel hydrated all day. I have dry lips and they usually are cracked so lipstick does not look good, however the realher lipstick is so hydrating that I dont need to apply lip balm all day and my lips look and feel amazing and are so soft.

I will definitely be making more purchases from realher for other colors of this amazing moisterizing lipstick and look forward to trying and reviewing more products fro. this company. I highly recommend everyone give this lippy a try, I know you will love it as much as I did.

Got it in one of my subscription boxes, most likely Boxycharm. I didn’t really like this product. It looks moisturizing, but it feels drying. When I took the lipstick off, my lips looked a bit like a cactus.

Since the shade is a bit dark, once I eat or the color wears off it makes my lips look kind of weird. Otherwise, as soon as you put it on, it looks gorgeous right away. Sadly, didn’t last long enough though.

I have around 100 different lip products. These are a no for me. They feel cheap. They have an oily feel. Hard to explain but this is how that feels. The colors are however beautiful browns. The shades were darker than expected.

I do not know staying power. I tried on but quickly took off. I bought three different shades and none worked out.

I love Revlon creme formula and matte formula in lustrous lipstick! Rose Velvet is my daytime go to shade! It’s comfortable and has great staying power! The package is great, I love that the top is clear so I can see the shade easily when grabbing it out of my lipstick tray! And the lid is easy to get off and snap back on! And at the $3-$5 price point you can’t go wrong! Revlon has a huge shade range too so I’m sure you’ll find a few shades you like! 💄💋😘.

I bought this lipstick as I seen someone list it as a dupe for a popular lip color. I bought the shade pick me up. The formula is creamy when applied and is a nice matte. The matte is not drying but I do find that it emphasizes the wrinkles in my lips which doesn’t bother me but may someone else.

I am not big on matte lipsticks bc I find most drying but this one I will repurchase. This shade is a nice nude shade and it pairs beautiful with a slightly darker lipliner.

I have been wearing this for YEAAARRRSSSS. whenever I wear I always get compliments and get hit on too. The try on feature doesnt even close to match how hawt it looks on. Its the perfect sexy metallic golden color for the days when you arent doing pink or red or nude.

Heres a secret of mine that im gonna drop I put a lot on like I literally smash it a little to get the full thick color that I want and thats my secret that ive never shared till now. it looks best on blondes but also if youre tanned possibly black hair could pull it off but probably wouldnt look great on black hair white skin.

This lipstick shade unfortunately did not work for my skin tone. I purchased it because I saw it swatched on a video with someone with a similar skin tone as me and I thought it looked great. It was just too dark brown.

It is not an everyday shade I would wear. Had to return this one. In terms of the actual lipstick, Mac satin lipsticks are so comfortable to wear and have great colour pay off. I saw this lipstick lined with a darker brown and it looked absolutely amazing.

I wanted this one to work.

#25_Days_of_Lipsticks #Day7. This is a perfect on the go lipstick. It is easy to apply. Glides on super smooth. The color is also not a loud color. The shade Amorous is a perfect everyday purple shade.

It does not highlight the cracks on my lips. Definitely not transfer proof, but it stays put under a mask. Does not transfer to my cheeks or chin. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable formula with a low color pay off.

M·A·C Satin Lipstick In Epic Epic.

I’ve had a few of these for about a year, and not only do they all still work, but they’re all just a pretty as they were when I bought them! Dude, these stay on your lips without a liner, are extremely moisturizing, and their color stays put for a while, even after eating and drinking.

I have to say that my favorite is Fuschia with Blue Pearl. I love hot pinks to begin with, but sometimes they look kind of weird by themselves. The Fuschia with Blue Pearl lipstick solves that problem by giving the lipstick its own depth and making it one of the best lipsticks I have used! I generally wear three shades of lipstick a day (I like to switch them out from time to time, and I get bored with a shade quickly) and I ended up wearing this one by itself for two weeks straight, just because of the color and staying power! Not to mention that there’s so many colors to choose from at such a low price.

These are some of the best lipsticks out there! The only thing I would recommend is that with certain colors, you should use a lip liner or balm. The reason I say this is because the high color and smooth satin texture makes some of the colors feather, and if it’s a darker color, that doesn’t look very good.

Lip liner solves that. :).

I found this lipstick quite by accident. I was looking for another tube of NYX eye shadow primer that I had ran out of and couldn’t find one anywhere (I assumed like most products that I love and re-purchase many times, it was discontinued).

So, I found an eye shadow primer from Wet N Wild and saw this lipstick. I thought I’ll give this a try and also paired it with a Wet N Wild lip liner which is my new favorite. So, I have found three new Wet N Wild products that I will continue to re-purchase (hopefully they won’t be discontinued).

This is what happens when a company discontinues one item. you have to look elsewhere and you not only replace that one item, but end of replacing others as well.

I have bought this lipstick in dark wine and just garnet. The dark wine is more pink/red than I expected, but still a lovely, flattering color. The just garnet is a vibrant fuchsia that I imagine would compliment any skin tone-it’s just stunning.

This lipstick goes on smooth, is very pigmented, and is overall a really amazing basic lipstick.

Pat McGrath lipsticks🖤 ⠀ I never thought that this would happen, but I want to heap my entire collection of lipsticks, throw it away and buy from Pat😅 This is the most comfortable matte formula I have tried: the lipstick has a very dense pigment, but at the same time it does not dry out at all, but even slightly moisturizes.

The texture is like something creamy mousse, which is absolutely not typical for matte lipsticks. In fairness, the finish here is also not completely matte, but who needs it 😂 ⠀ I was right with shades, this is a very beautiful nude.

I have Venus in furs, femmebot and 1995. The lip balm is completely transparent, but it has blue blotches, so it looks gorgeous on the lips. It is not very greasy and does not moisturize at all, but it looks 🔥 ⠀ The design of the brand’s products is a separate item, have you seen their packaging at all? This is a masterpiece! And an individual box for each shade? Yeah, it’s definitely not a pity to pay 40 € here.

Only I didn’t pay)) ⠀ I took 3 out of 4 lipsticks at a discount on Black Friday and they cost me a total of 30 €. The fourth was completely free, although it was sent to me when the sale was over. And here it is worth moving on to the not-so-pleasant thing – customer service.

I’ll be brief: everything is bad. Receiving a parcel is always a lottery🥲 If all positions have come, you can rejoice. Usually something is missing, or the package is lost, or the wrong thing is put, or the product is in an obscene form.

⠀ I just ran into the latter. All four times)) Two lipsticks came with a very strong bloom due to cold weather (🤨), the other two had a very “walking” stick – I still use the balm with caution. In the end, in response to my complaints, I was reimbursed for one lipstick and replaced two others, one of which was out of sale.

The courier brought it in 3 days Here, of course, respect! ⠀ Consider me a bore, but if I take luxury cosmetics, then the quality must match in everything. Even if it is taken at a discount. I think Cle de Peau makes the best luxury lipsticks. They do not dry out the lips, no matter which formula you choose. This one has a good dose of color and is nicely creamy without being greasy or slippery.

Soft satin finish. Very comfortable with just the slightest scent and very faint, if any taste which disappears rapidly. Expensive but worth it.

I have been using this since I received it a few days ago and I absolutely love everything about it. The formula is very creamy, feels great on your lips, and offers a beautiful, shimmery but subtle tint to your lips.

It feels light and not sticky, and perfect for a hot summer day. I have thee Powerhouse Pink but will be trying the other colors as well.

I bough the Camellia color, and the color is just gorgeous and I really love it. I also love the texture, silky and smooth. It is comfortable and moisturizing. But it won’t last long for more than 3 hours for me.

Anyway, this lipstick is my favorite lipstick, and the color goes well with almost all my outfit. If I don’t know what lipstick to wear, I just grab this one. It is really good for any occasion and everyday.

Strongly recommend this lipstick! The reason why I took one star away is because of its high price.
