20 Best Piercing Metal For Sensitive Skin (2023 Updated)

Got these bc great price & payment plan for me. Shipping was fast & updates were given here and there. They arrived in littler, separate baggies. I have irritation bump problems & wanted gold to help that problem.

I have had them in for like 2-3 weeks now & have had a fantastic difference! so glad i switched out from the stainless steel or whatever L bars I got from my piercer. I wanted the hoop to hug my nostril.

I was scared I got them too small. But I stretched them out (gold is malleable), put them in, & squeezed the ends back together. I even used pilers (sanitized them first) to push them a little bit further together.

10/10 :).

I put four of the gold ones in my ear and three weeks later they are completely silver. I only wash my hair once a week so they haven’t been exposed to much water/products. This was disappointing because Body Candy has always been my go-to when I’m ready to replace my earring jewelry because I trust there products and haven’t been let down.

This was my fist time ordering “gold” though so maybe my expectations were too high. I’ll do some research and order a different option with my next order. Even with the gold fading off, they did not cause any green-ing/discoloration on my skin, nor irritation.

I ordered these cartilage earrings on April 16. I got the “shipping” notification that my shipping label was created and that it would take 2-7 days for the earrings to get to me. Well, 10 days later on April 26, still no other shipping updates.

Called USPS and they said they hadn’t even received a package from BodyCandy yet. So I contact BodyCandy a few days later and they decided to resend new earrings. Great awesome, that was on May 4. On that same day I received another “shipping” notification just like before – saying that only a label has been created.

Nothing about actual shipping. Now it is May 7, and still no updates on tracking/shipping. I just want a refund and I will take my business somewhere else. This is ridiculous and frustrating. Usually I am a very understanding customer but this happened twice and Body Candy doesn’t care.

So frustrating. How hard is it to send two sets of cartilage earrings.

These are wonderful quality. I love the left and right purchase options. I’ve had these in for a few months (I dont like to change my earrings out very often so I look for non tarnishing jewelry) they’re difficult to put in but they’re worth the hassle.

I just went to my local tattoo and piercing shop and had my piercer put them in for me. Havent given me any allergic reactions or tarnishing problems. Most definitely recommend!.

I’ve worn this dragon earring in my right daith for about 4 months. It doesn’t seem to tarnish, it doesn’t bother my sensitive ears, and the shape and size are perfect for my little ears! I love how sparkly the gems are! My only reasoning for 4 stars rather than 5 is because they’re made of a VERY tough metal, and I have to lie on my side in my husband’s lap and give him 2 sets of needle-nose pliers just for him to close and reshape them after I get them in! But in my opinion, if you have someone to help you get them in, it’s totally worth the hassle!.

I ordered 2 of the same i did not get 2 of them same i got one thing of nose rings and 1 thing of earrings. very disappointed in my order. i will never order again from this company. i wanted 2 of the same of nose rings.

It was the perfect size. The quality was good. Little on the pricey side. I would definitely order more if they were in stock.

This went rather poorly. The first earring jammed and then I had a hurt 9-month-old flailing with a gun stuck to the side of her head. Pulled the trigger back and quickly repunched it without touching the earring, the backing went on slightly crooked.

She calmed down once the earring was in so we went for the other side. Second one went in smoothly yet wouldn’t release either. However I was ready this time and quickly broke off the little tab holding the backing.

They are both in, straight and centered, but it was nothing like the “peaceful gentle method” promised. The videos all show the 2000 model tool which looks like a gun while the home kits come with a disposable syringe-like tool, so maybe the deluxe tool works better.

My daughter turned 12 and she has never had her ears pierced. When we discussed doing it ourselves, I did my research and found the Inverness ear piercing system. If you follow the directions and aren’t squimish, it does the job wonderfully! I bought the stainless steel 5mm CZs and they are completley sealed.

After READING the instructions, I set up our kitchen table and washed my hands, put on gloves, used rubbing alcohol and some ice cubes to numb her ears. (My daughter was happy and comfy in her PJs) I also made sure to take my time marking her lobes.

The kit is complete and is a very light plastic, it does take some force, but there is no loud clicking noise like with a piercing gun. Days after the piercing, my daughter has not had any issue while using the antiseptic provided.

When we ran out, we switched to alcohol or peroxide – which is a ‘no-no’ and the only time she had some discharge – so we purchased more saline ear antiseptic. It has been more than a month and she looks beautiful with them and has had no issues! I am planning on piercing my youngest daughters ears next :).

Used these on myself and my daughter (four ears). First I was up and the gun got stuck as many reviews and videos have shared and shown. When you look at the cartridge there is a tiny tab in he middle over the ear ring backing.

Use your finger or a small tool (tweezers worked for us) to Pull that tab back. You can loosen it or pop it off, both worked for us. Once doing this the next three piercings the earrings went in and the cartridge came off without getting stuck.

You will need to take more care in placing with a steady hand but I did this with my three year old with no problem. Also when you are about to press the plunger make sure a small piece of the earring has depressed already so it can instantly pierce.

Easy stuff.

I purchased two of the 6mm hoops for my helix piercings for everyday wear. Not tight fitting. Very comfortable. I’ve had it in for about a month now. Hasn’t tarnished, still looking brand new. Easy to put in.

They are a little tricky to take off though. Once it’s closed its staying closed.

i purchased a segment ring to put in my helix piercing, but unfortunately i chose a diameter that was a bit too small so it wouldn’t close. luckily, i was given a free horseshoe ring that fit in there just fine, and matches my captive ball ring 🙂 the small gift was totally unexpected but it made my day and saved me from having to make another purchase <3.

I love this color so much. I had this barbell back when my tongue was at 8g and had issues with the threading not working but they sent me a new one. And now that I made it to 4g I bought it again. Its nice to have a light weight titanium barbell in my tongue.

I am no stranger to piercings, but these barbells were the first time I got a new one with a quality material. Loved the customization fields for these and was very happy with the time it took to receive them.

The image online doesnt reflect exactly what you will get. The clamps are cheap plastic. The gloves are low quality and only 1 set. The piercings are the only ok thing. Only buy this if you need cheap replacement piercings.

In this kit, they gave me an array of randomly sized needles ranging from 13g-18g. This piercing kit comes with barbells in 14g and 16g sizes, which means the needles should be 13/12g and 15/14g so the barbells can fit inside them when piercing.

The hemostats were cheap plastic and not really worth including in the kit since they’re virtually useless. I suppose I got what I paid for and I’m still going to use the kit but don’t expect a quality set of piercing tools or the right amount of correctly sized needles for the amount of barbells that there are.

The product I ordered was super cheap and was delivered for free within two days!! The product is also of good quality, would definitely recommend purchasing items from this site

I love this one so much and the fit is perfect quality is great as well. I haven’t worn it yet. I got it because I am planning to get my nose pierced and I have actually put it in my nose where I want it and no problem.

Flawless finish. I also bought this in mysterium. This ring looks especially good with a black mysterium bead. Well worth the money! Also, I’ve seen some reviews on here of people having a hard time opening the ring.

Keep in mind that you really need a pair of ting opening pliers for captive bead rings, especially the thicker gauges.

I bought the sliver one like this plus a couple of others, I’m not sure if this one is just a miss but the prongs on this particular hoop are awful it’s catching on my shirt when I’m putting them on, also it snags on my pillowcase so this is not a hoop that I can wear.

The prongs are not smooth they are very rough. I do have the silver one like this and it’s so smooth.

This ring is super cute! Sadly one of the gems fell out almost immediately upon wearing it. (A few days of wear) but I tend to touch my piercing a lot and blow/rub my nose quite a bit so it’s understandable.

I think it would be a lot safer if I wore it as an ear piercing instead.

I love how they have ALL SIZES available including the 6mm which is what I got. It fit perfectly. The jewelry opens easily but closes SECURELY & has not fallen off or opened by itself. The item looks and feels good quality and crystals have not lost their shine.

I got this to go with a cluster top for my upper ear cartilage piercing. I like how this lies felt against the back of my ear and you can chose from so many colors. I love that Painful Pleasures has a big selection of titanium as it’s one of the few I can wear.

They had an item I bought out of stock. Instead of refunding… they gave me a credit I don’t want since now I have to purchase else where. I won’t be buying here again.

Most of the belly rings received are just plain ugly. I would never wear them. Also they claim that they come with no duplicates but by the picture you can see that this is untrue. I received multiple duplicates.

After 3 days of wearing a belly ring one completely broke when I tried to unscrew it. Please do not purchase this item. It is not worth the money. I found that you can get 50 belly rings on wish for $1-2 which is what they are actually worth!.

This serum really helps with the frizzies, and makes my curls stay curly all day long. I often skip a day washing my hair because I no longer wake up with a bush that needs taming. One caveat: don’t use too much of this product or your hair will look greasy.

I got this hoop for my cartilage piercing. I purchased the smallest size (20g) that Maison Miru recommends to put in a nose piercing. Since I have very small ears and thin cartilage I went with the small size anyway.

My piercing is close to the outer edge which also helped. This dainty little earring was just what I wanted for my new cartilage piercing! If you have a new piercing, wait about 6 weeks before putting in new jewelry though.

When I bought this hoop, my ear was still swollen slightly and I wasn’t sure it would fit (not realizing the swelling was as bad as it was). Now that the swelling is down, it fits perfectly! If you aren’t sure what size to get, go with the 8mm at 18g.

I purchased two of the classic cartilage hoops for my double helix piercings and I absolutely love them! They were exactly what I was looking for- a stylish, pretty hoop that I could put on and forget about.

They fit snugly around my ear without being too tight and have enough room to accommodate some swelling that might occur from changing out the jewelry. The best part is that because they are titanium, I don’t have to worry about taking them out for any reason.

They are slightly tricky to open at first. I would recommend following the directions that you get when you purchase them for how to open them so you don’t damage the clasp mechanism. I would definitely purchase these again!.

I have been following Automic for some time trying to find a piece that spoke to me. Then, I saw the small snake hoop in an instagram, and I knew it was the one. I purchased on Friday, the piece arrived on Tuesday.

Packaging was beautiful, as well as the contents: I LOVE this nose ring! It is special and I’ve never seen anything like it.

I really loved this and wanted it to work but after 3 months of off/on irritation I finally had to remove it for good. I think the little notches all around the circumference of the hoop was just not so good for harboring some bacteria, etc as opposed to a solid hoop.

I wonder if the design could be changed so at least the part of the snake that is inside the piercing could be smooth and not notched? Might have worked for me then.

It says on the wesbite this hoop works in any body piercing but does not include photos of how it looks in different places. I bought it as a septum and I hate the way it looks because its much larger than mainstream septum piercings but thats not immediately apparent from the pictures.

I wish I could return it and pick something different!.

I have chronically sensitive ears. This is the third time I’ve tried piercing them (I’m in my 30s!). Every previous time I have been unable to find earrings that my ears don’t react badly to and wind up giving up on wearing pierced earrings.

A few weeks ago, I just switched out the starter earrings from the piercing studio to Tini Lux earrings. My ears are thrilled! I don’t have any sensitivity to the earrings, which blows my mind. This style is PERFECT for sleeping in.

I am leaving these ears in 24/7 to help my ears keep healing. They are cute and most of all don’t catch on anything which reduces the risk of irritation. The posts are quite long with is handy when my ears swell a bit from being irritated for whatever reason (they’ve been pierced for less than three months so they’re still healing).

I’ve been so pleased with these that I’ve bought three more pairs!.

I just got this lovely hoop and put it in the helix piercing I’ve had for years. I had no problem placing it. It was smaller than I expected, although I looked carefully at my small ruler. This is great because I wanted a small earring.

I wore my jewelry continuously and was worried when I read reviews about the earring falling apart. I will add to my post in a couple weeks and let you know how that is going. Right now, this is a beautiful piece that I am thrilled to wear.

I adore the siren hoop. It was exactly what I was looking for for my conch piercing. I got the 10mm first but it was slightly too small of a ring so I had to order another in the 12mm and it is absolutely the perfect size.

I haven’t a single issue with the clasp/hinge. I’ve been wearing it constantly for over a month with no issues, no spontaneous opening. I have several other piercings that I’ve been gathering jewels for, so the 10mm will not be wasted.

This earring has a great look to it- a little edgy, which is what I was looking for. If your piercing is still healing (like mine was) you might wait a second to pick this one up as my hair kept grabbing the little knobs and pulling on it.

It’s much better now, but would have been smarter to get a simple hoop first to let it fully heal, then move to this one! I do love that I don’t really notice it’s there now (only have an occasional tug) and it’s subtle enough to wear all the time!.
