A pick up truck is for towing because it can tow a trailer with a load behind it.
This little beauty is part of the BRIO Wooden Railway system. While kids play make-believe, the truck will build manual dexterity, strengthen hand-eye coordination, and encourage problem solving. The 2.
37-inch-long beechwood truck has a green driver’s cabin and flat bed with knobs to hold the yellow plastic towing apparatus: towbed, winch, chain (yellow nylon, 6 inches long), and magnet hookup. When an accident occurs or a vehicle breaks down, it’s Trusty Tow to the rescue.
Just uncrank the line, attach the tow, and go! Truck also has a magnetic coupler at the rear for close-up tows or for use with other BRIO vehicles. An action figure with grip-form hands is included.
We received this in exchange for our honest opinion and in all honesty, I was expecting it to be like most magnet toys we’ve owned where the magnets didn’t line up or they weren’t strong enough to actually work.
I was so surprised when not only do the magnets line up and work, but it is so precise, you can tell this company is serious about making a quality toy. Everything about this toy is solidly built and I have no issue whatsoever giving it to my kids to play with! You cannot go wrong with Brio!.
This sturdy tow truck was a huge hit. You can even open the hood to see the engine. The front magnet is pretty weak so the tow truck doesnt stay coupled to other trains if you try to pull them up a slope.
Other than that would say the design is perfect. Well made and durable. Nice not to have a bunch of pieces to keep track of! Would certainly recommend. Is fun to tow broken trains to the repair shop.
Received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is a fun little train alternative for my kids to play with along with our BRIO tracks. It also fits with other brands as we have some generic tracks at our house as well. There is just something fun about toys that connect magnetically, especially vehicles! As an early reviewer, I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion’.
It’s tough to imagine life without a truck. They can, however, be kind of a pain if your just pile everything in there–finding that one specific tool can take quite a bit of digging. The Decked Chevy Truck Bed System makes this problem go away.
The system raises the bed of your truck. Where there used to just be a flat space, there are two bed-length drawers and four ammo cans to keep your gear separated and organized. Big pieces of gear (skis, snowboards, camping gear, fishing rods) can be stashed in the long drawers while smaller stuff (tow straps, screws, flashlights) can go into the ammo cans for easy organization.
The system is made with steel wrapped in stiff HDPE. It’s load rating is an incredible 2000 pounds, but it weighs less than 200. The system installs using your truck’s tie-downs, so there’s no drilling or damage to your truck bed.
I just installed my Decked toolbox. So far I love it. When I called customer Their customer service department to confirm the box would fit with my access tonneau cover model # 62329 I was told adamantly it would not fit with the decked toolbox.
Because the return policy is not very attractive cost wise and it took 3 full weeks to receive here in Alberta Canada i was worried. So I did my own measurements and checked it twice and it does fit.
What decked missed is they went by Acess fit numbers instead of calculating themselves. The part that was missed is they took the measurements on the width And did not calculator a part of their toolbox actually fits over the front of the truck box right behind the window.
My truck is a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD here’s a photo so any other purchasers will know in advance and not have to worry about placing the order. But so far I do love the toolbox no complaints about it, not cheap In fact it might be the most expensive toolbox available.
I’m hoping to have it for the most of the rest of my lifetime so I wanted a good one that I could count on, The latter feature is just a sweet touch my truck is so high it’s really made access nice without having to open up the entire Tanneau cover and climb into the truck box for Access.
As a footnote I was able to find a really nice 3500 pound winch that fits with room to spare underneath the toolbox very happy about that,.
Instalation was fairly easy, did it with out needing any asistance to lift anything. There was a misprint in the, other wise good, instructions, when putting on the last parts it listed the wrong bag of bolts.
The bolts listed were already used up putting the deck together, so obviously it was the last bag that had the bolts. Not really a problem since it was at the end of the build so it was obvious. Many of the bolts are modified, having the first few threads partly removed for better starting, I presume, but the way it’s done made them a bit prone to cross threading.
I figured that out right away so start every one by hand to be sure of thread engagement and it’s all good. It also comes with some nylon washers, some of the locations for their use is over a slotted hole, which the washers don’t do well in, so I added some flat washers in those areas and that worked well.
I haven’t loaded it up yet as the weather hasn’t been very nice yet, but I’m sure it’ll do what I want it to. I also made some cable loops that used the anchor points in the truck, the loops stick up above the deck, so I haven’t lost any of my tie down points.
Over all I’m happy with this product, and expect it to last, as it appears to be well constructed. Now I just need to find a good rack for the truck and I’ll have it set up as I want it.
I’ve been in industrial maintenance for the past 30 years. I have decided to switch up the next half of my career and have earned my Contractors License and will be doing residential maintenance from here on out.
Suffice to say, I have seen and used almost all of the products out there on the market that one could think of. Never have I ever encountered a product such as Decked products! I ordered a Decked Drawer system and a Cargo Glide from a local distributor and made sure that I installed the products myself, instead of having them do it.
I wanted to see for myself what I spent my hard earned money on. At the very LEAST to say. I am very impressed at the build quality and the attention to detail that goes into the DECKED products. With every fastener and roller and panel I assembled, I could not have designed it better myself.
I was trying to find faults all along the installation process, but I could find NONE! The fit and finish was exactly to my application. DECKED is by FAR one of the best products I have ever purchased and I would not hesitate to purchase again if the need should ever arise.
Multi-Tow design feature adds multiple towing options from one connector by providing sockets for towing both 7 blade and 4 flat trailers. This connector is Plug-In Simple! with no cutting or splicing saving you time by utilizing an OEM connector to create an exact fit for easy installation and maximum weatherproofing.
I installed on my 2006 Chevy Avalanche. Factory plug fit perfectly. I had to drill through the bumper plate next to the license plate to install. 1 3/4″ drill bit does not allow harness plug to clear in this install format so I had to use a metal file to enlarge the hole.
Harness had four corner fastener locations and allowed a very secure connection to the bumper using the included bolt and nuts. I like that this has separate 4-point and 7-point plug openings. The weather covers are tight and functional.
Great kit, nice price, pretty easy to install with basic tools.
Rightline Gear The Rightline Gear Truck Tent lets you experience camping in a dry truck bed, up off the ground, without the complication of tarps, stakes, and guy lines. It features a floorless design that allows you to set up or take down the tent without removing your gear from the bed.

Color coded poles and pole pockets for quick and easy set up. Product Type: Tents. Best Use: Travel & Car Camping. Shape Type: Dome. Capacity: 2 Person. Rain Fly: Yes. Number of Doors: 1 Door. Color: Grey.
Dimensions: Size: Full Size Long Bed Truck Tent (8′).
We took the Rightline truck bed tent with us on our cross- country honeymoon trip from Nebraska to Maine, and slept in it every other night. It’s actually pretty comfortable sleeping in the bed of a truck with a foam pad below (not included), and feels more safe and secure than a ground tent.
Park the truck anywhere within reason, and sleep for the night. It’s spacious and private enough to change clothes in. It went up in less than 5 minutes with one of us doing each side. The tent fit our ’14 Silverado (just like the one in the pic.
– same color, too) perfectly. It won’t scratch the paint. It comes with a little storage bag, and fits under the back seat. It’s made of durable but lightweight fabric, and is stylish and functional.
It comes with a rain hood. There are a couple of pockets on each side of the interior to store your cell phone, etc. in. We’ve used it more than 10 times now, and it’s still in new condition. The one feature I would add (that could likely affect other areas of the design, though) would be a pass- through from the tent front into the cab of the truck (provided it has a sliding rear window, of course).
That way, you could run cables for charging devices, listen to the radio, and even possibly use the vehicle’s heating/ cooling system for the tent. This wasdefinitely a good buy at the discounted price I paid, and I’d unhesitatingly recommend as sleeping quarters for anyone who wants to be able to just get in their truck and go.

So when you’re ready to tow, road trip, let’s go!.
i had to move old safety chain from tow dolly and seen cables like this are now available,, so i replaced the chains on the hitch end and the chains on the lower arm wrap too. TSC had the lowest prices compared all other sites and packaged in pairs.
was way way better deal. and you need them in pairs Being coiled means it won’t drag on ground ,, as at time the chains have. and definitely looks heavy duty for the 5k lbs. limit.
They are good quality only issue I have with them is the hooks are to big for standard pickups and they do t need to be that big. Other than that they are good replacements for my old cables.
Towing with tow rope also at auto zone vehicle pulling my van had no nothing to latch onto so used these cables to wrap around rear bumper pulled over 60 miles stop and go and when we were done the steel cables jacket was not even cut a little.
Hopkins Manufacturing Corporation makes your towing experience simpler and more rewarding through innovation and value. As an Endurance product by Hopkins, this product is designed for ultimate durability against harsh weather conditions, corrosion, and normal wear and tear.
Hopkins offers a variety of towing solutions including vehicle wiring kits, adapters, vehicle and trailer connectors, breakaway systems, and much more. Today, more than 40 percentage of retail category sales are generated from Hopkins innovations.
Towing with more than one trailer can be simplified with the patented Endurance Multi-Tow design, as the Hopkins’ Endurance Multi-Tow 3-in-1 Vehicle Side Connector features an oversized hinge, reinforced lid that opens 180 degrees to make connections simpler, and an internal seal for maximum weatherproofing and long-life durability.
This connector is designed with 7 blade, 5 wire flat, and 4 wire flat sockets for multiple towing options. Mounting bracket, hardware, and terminal grease packet are all included for easy setup.
This particular model is the best I have seen. I have bought and used this same model before and am very pleased with having the 7-pin heavy connection and the flat connection which accommodates common 4 AND 5-pin trailer connections all integral to the unit instead of having hanging pig-tails.
When you tow more than just one trailer, having a multi -tow is ideal. This Hopkins Multi-Tow 7 Blade and 4 Flat Replacement Connector that offers multiple towing options from just one connector. Utilizing the OEM connectors to create an exact fit, this kit is easy to install and also offers maximum weatherproofing.
The Simple OE Multi-Tow connector was easily installed. One simply compresses the holding pins for the plastic filler part and then snap the Multi-Tow into position. I used a Pollack 11-998 4′ pigtail to connect with the towing signal wiring of my 2021 Tacoma.
Looks identical to the factory unit, made by the same company that makes the original but it must be different specs because my trailer plus is so loose it feels like it’s going to fall out. the plug will move in and out about 1/4 inch where the original feels very snug.
Un fortunately this part is non returnable (electrical connector) but I needed one quickly. I will be buying a GM original and throwing this one in the trash. Very disappointed.
This Hopkins Trailer Wire Harness fit exactly like the OEM part it replaced in my 2014 F150. The shape is identical and the retainer clips are in the right spot. The back end plug in is also a match.
It was a 5 minute, no tool swap. Works geat and cost less than 1/2 the ‘same’ part at a Ford dealer.
If you and your gear yearn for the open road, the Decked Ford Truck Bed System ensures a completely organized trip with room for whatever fun Mother Nature throws your way. Rather than adding boxes to the top and sides of your pickup truck, the Truck Bed System utilizes the bed space itself to create a series of organized compartments.
There are two bed-length drawers with additional smaller cans beneath for everything from tools, to fishing rods, to climbing racks. One of the drawers even comes with a bottle opener, should you feel the need to add some ice and beer to your kit.
What’s even better is that the insert leaves a bit of space leftover in the bed so that you can pull out your inflatable mattress and sleep under the stars without the hassle of having to pitch a tent.
The entire system installs easily using your truck’s tie-downs. There is no drilling or bolting. It is constructed from a steel frame wrapped in HDPE with aluminum handles on the drawers. It is rated to hold 2000 pounds but weighs less than 200 pounds on its own.
I bought this dual drawer full bed box based on the warranty and what I could tell about the design and the sales pitch (end the junk show). Its really hard to know exactly how you could set it up without seeing it in person.
I have a lot of tools and thought this would be a good solution to organize things. First problem: the drawers are just set up in a bad way. You cant reach the back 1/3 very well and you cant put a divider or items in the way or it would be a pain to use the back section of the drawers at all.
So right away nearly half the drawer space ends up wasted as far as usefulness or easy access. Second: the drawers are not square so you lose more space by the odd shape. Third: the drawers are shallow so I can barely fit items like a circular saw without them jamming the drawers.
Also the height issue means i can’t line up drills etc vertically/neatly. I would just end up having to pile stuff in the drawers however they can fit and dig through it all (aka the “junk show”). Fourth: all the included tool boxes and inserts are terrible for my use.
They take up too much space. You cant even open the lid with the box in the drawer. Id rather save that expense and just buy something that fits/works better but decked forces those items on you with the new higher prices.
Fifth: the ammo can pockets are barely useable. In my bed they could have been about 3X the size they are so I could actually use them for things. As they are I could fit maybe a few straps in them? So basically another wasted space.
Sixth: the gap at the back between the tailgate sucks. Everything falls in there constantly and if you have the option to design another 4-5 inches of drawer length when space is limited why would you leave dead space and make the drawers shorter and be further away from you? Makes no sense.
All of these issues and more seem like it was just done to make parts universal for ease of manufacturing and not to make the best product. Seventh: Then what I think is the worst part. Maybe a product isn’t for everyone but when i called to return it when it was brand new they ran interference and basically told me I’m S.
O. L on returning it. If the box worked well I couldn’t care less about the expense but the fact that I have a problem with nearly every aspect of it really bothers me that they don’t stand behind their product and design.
It makes me feel like I fell for an internet marketing scam instead of buying a good product to improve my workflow. Now my tools are a mess and Im not sure if I should just pull the box out or try to make it halfass work? Decked basically told me to get lost so now Im about to lose about $600 selling it myself online.
The box itself looks nice, seems durable, and the drawers roll nicely. So I really want it to work but every time I attempt to set it up its just terrible and nothing fits. And I have an f250 so other trucks can be even smaller.
If you want to make camping gear videos or go hunting recreation etc it might work out great for that but for basic construction tools it just isn’t working for me so for $1,600 it doesn’t do anything.
I wish Decked made a contractor version of this box with well thought out organizers and tool storage solutions because it could’ve really been nice. But as is Im sitting here with a pile of decked stuff I can’t fit/use and the last thing I want to do is spend hundreds more for more organizers to fit.
Either way Im wasting more time and money and decked should’ve done the smart thing and just given a refund before I start making youtube videos titled “before you buy a decked toolbox watch this!”.
I had been a field service mechanic for over 15 years working on heavy equipment and mostly cranes. After playing the corporate game for so many years I decided to leave it all behind and start my own crane inspection business.
I had become accustomed to having an F550 with a service body full of tools with me at every job, this was no longer the case, BUT I still wanted my tools with me. The internet led me to Decked. The price tag was right for a start-up small business, the product is mostly made in the USA, and it was in stock.
About a week after ordering my giant box arrived! Unlike many men out there, I read the directions and assembly was pretty easy! I could not wait to fill it up! I was able to put 75% of my hand tools in one drawer leaving out the specialty tools and i was able load the other drawer with sledge hammers, pry bars, 3/4″ drive socket set, breaker bars, punches, all of my cordless impacts and drills plus still had room for o-ring kits, hyd caps and plugs and even a tire plug kit!!! these drawers are loaded all the way! With a full load the drawers roll with ease and the latches keep them shut even on the worst jobsites.
I have been asked by soo many people on jobsites if I like it and the answer is always YES! This systems works for exactly what i need! I really enjoy that it is truly water proof! i was a bit worried that it wouldnt be 100% waterproof but the last few weeks of weather here in Maine proved that it is! highly recommend the product! The one small thing that you may want to consider is how much height the system takes up in the bed if you are running a toneau cover like I am.
We purchased a Decked bed drawer system for a new F150 back in 2018. It holds a lot of tools /gear and gets used multiple times a day every day for the water district for which we work. Our job requires us to drive out to remote locations off road several times a week over some rough terrain and it has held up remarkably.
After 4 years of constant use and abuse, we had a small issue with a roller wheel cracking one of the drawers and I contacted the Decked team to ask about warranty (not expecting to get warranty due to the length of time and the abuse we give the system) and to my surprise, they happily shipped us a new drawer.
Great product, great service. How often can you say those two things together about anything these days? I think our drawer issue probably has something to do with how heavy our tools/gear are and the extreme off road conditions we deal with along with the countless times those drawers have been used in the last four years.
I doubt if the general public or even a contractor will ever see the conditions we do and will most likely never have any issues with their Decked system at all. But if you encounter an issue, they step up and take care of you immediately.

For being called a Steel Classic, this Truck is mostly plastic. The Cab is Steel, but everything else is plastic. I think if it was just called a Tonka Truck, it would make more sense. The wheels spin nicely, the tow arm moves up and down, the latch to keep it up or down works most of the time.
The stickers are almost all placed correctly. But the plastic on the end of the tow arm is a bit weak and when trying to tow other vehicles, a slight bump will drop the load. I think i was just expecting more from a Steel Classics series item.
It feels like a knockoff Tonka, or like it was outsourced to save money.
I was so excited to see the Steel Classic Tonkas available! Having fond memories of the total metal Tonkas we had played with. Well I suppose this is as classic as it will ever get. There still is a lot of plastic features on it, but the tow truck brings such excitement to my grandson and he was not disappointed one bit.
And that is what matters. This is a high quality, well built and no doubt sturdy, long lasting toy. Not as I remember, but much better than any others we have tried that are mostly plastic.
Tonka has done an amazing job with this toy truck. It’s large easy for kids to grasp. Metal design makes it durable , paint is so cute ! The details are realistic and functional. You can actually tow another toy with it.
The wheels are bigger so Roa easy for kids to move it all around in various material.
Tow-tally Awesome When the people of LEGO city get stranded on the side of the road, it is up to you to make sure they get home safe. Not everyone is savvy enough to make it as a tow truck operator, but you will no doubt succeed.
Just make sure you don’t pull off any bumpers! Product Details Finding the perfect LEGO set to live out your favorite stories is hard for sure, but you will be one step closer with this LEGO 42128 Technic Heavy-Duty Tow Truck.
This set includes all the instructions, pieces, and characters that you will need to be the coolest car-chitect in the world!.
I’m 80% done with this set, and its really great! It’s my first pneumatic set, so I’m really enjoying the new functions. Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of the look, but I do like it better in person.
I’ve also decided to not apply the more OTT stickers. Not to knock this set, but I do wish I could buy pneumatic parts or other sets on the store. I would def buy this set again.
This truck gives you a lot for the money. Tons of working functions and the pneumatics work great and are fun to play with. The non pneumatic functions seem tedious to play with in comparison, but they are still nice to have and add a lot.
It might seem like a lot of money for a toy truck, but the mechanical nature the of this truck, especially the pneumatics, makes it something really quite special. I’m really impressed with it as an adult and I’m sure my nephew will go nuts when he sees it! Easily one of the best products Lego has released in a long time.
This gigantic pick-up truck lets your little one roll and store during playtime. Constructed from durable plastic to ensure long-lasting durability, this vehicle features a large truck bed with a cover that opens for hauling sand, dirt or toys.
Its large knobby wheels and metal axles make this truck suitable for any indoor or outdoor terrain.
The dēzl OTR710 navigator is trucking simplified. It features custom routing (Not available in all areas. Vehicle characteristics may not be accounted for in all route suggestions. Defer to posted signs and road conditions.
) based on the size and weight of your rig, strategic suggestions for fueling and breaks, map updates for North America and leading-edge arrival planning. BirdsEye Satellite Imagery helps ensure a smooth arrival with high-resolution aerial views of loading docks, truck entrances and security gates.
Pair your navigator to your compatible smartphone to get real-time traffic and weather alerts, and receive PrePass weigh station bypass notifications with an active PrePass account. The navigator’s 7” display offers a clear view and an easy-to-use experience as you maneuver.
This hands down is by far the best truck GPS I’ve used. There’s so many great features on it. First of all it has a great suction cup great quality and very sturdy. It’s been on my truck windshield and it hasn’t moved even after all those crazy bumps I go through on the road.
The screen size is perfect with a bigger screen you get more map details and you can add your side information without compromising your map. Custom truck routing you just enter your truck profile and the GPS will find truck prefer routes best suited for your rig and load.
This GPS provide a view of popular truck routes this by far is one of the best features and one of the reasons why I switched from the Rand McNally to this OTR 1000. Driving in unfamilitary territorry? See popular truck routes used by other truckers to increase your situation awareness.
This has driver alerts driver alerts warn you about coming sharp curve speed changes railroad crossing and more. It also lets you know when there’s a weigh station coming up. Another great feature that I like is the Live traffic feature very useful.
This will show you construction zones, congested areas. If you run this and compare it with Google maps you’ll be able to save yourself sometime by avoiding nasty traffic by rerouting. This has saved me delays numerous times.
I really like how you can connect this GPS to your hotspot and it will get automatic updates. And to top it off when you link your phone to Garmin drive app to run with this GPS it will provide information on your GPS screen like text messages or calls.
I don’t know what other GPS can do this but this is a great feature this will actually read your messages and show them on the side of the GPS display. Don’t think about it just get it!.
The image is crystal clear. When connected to phone it updates traffic and maps automatically( may require software update for this feature) I have 3 truck profiles loaded on it along with the Car option.
Accounts for all types of loads and hazards. Intuitive. The windshield mount is very sturdy and allows for quick easy removal of GPS while leaving the mount on the windshield so you don’t get 500 circles on the windshield.
Just took a 2000 mile trip with no issues There was a detour that put me on a restricted road. and it let me know. boy did it let me know. big flashing red warning.
The Garmin 1010 is a great GPS unit. They did a good job on the production. The display is large and bright so you can read it easily, even in the sunshine. (It has excellent resolution. ) The voice recognition is a big improvement on the previous models.
Reception of the weather and traffic through the cell data plan is excellent, but I chose not to use my cell phone so I ordered an HD traffic mount for $139 and receive the traffic that way instead. We are enjoying unit.
I wish Garmin would offer the traffic receiver incorporated into the unit so we wouldn’t have to buy a separate mount for traffic.
Uriah Products Aluma-Tow HD with 6″ drop provides you with one product for all of your towing needs. It has the highest rated gross trailer weight on the market of 12,000 lbs, allowing you to haul heavier loads with ease.
The fit is loose, this is very concerning for safe towing. Nice case and features. Comes with 2 locking pins. I like the way the balls seat into their collar. The draw bar is very loose in the truck’s receiver.
The adjustable collar corner doesn’t securely seat into the vertical bar groove. Basically you are relying on the pins themselves for your towing capacity because the rest of everything is pretty loose.
Will probably spend almost 3x’s as much for a cast steel draw bar with adjustable height and multi balls – for the sake of safety and security.
There is slop between the receiver hitch of the vehicle and the head unit when inserted. There is slop between the head unit and the vertical adjustment bracket. There is slop between the vertical adjustment bracket and the ball assemblies.
When you combine all of this slop and movement, the total amount of slop between the vehicle, and ultimately, the trailer ball is beyond excessive. No way I would trust this hitch. Immediately returned.
Overall so far I am satisfied with the product even though I have not used it to tow anything yet. I like the carry case that keeps everything in one place. I like the versatility and adjustability of the product.
The shank could be longer as when I install it in the rise configuration it is too close to my bumper. I plan to use a hitch extension to fix that. The hitch fit is pretty sloppy but I hope to fix that with a hitch tightener and plan to use a 5/8″ hardened bolt to tighten the C section.
Introducing the newest addition to the trailer valet family: the RVR series. Our first self-motorized and remote-controlled series of units, the RVR is designed to take the chore out of moving your trailer.
With the RVR you can now move your trailer without bending over or the need to use your own drill. The RVR comes with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that can give you up to 30 minutes of runtime.
The included remote control allows you to not only move your trailer with just the push of a button, you can do it from up to 40 Ft. away. Now you can move your trailer into tight spaces without having to ask someone else to help you look around the corners.
Heavy-duty Caterpillar treads allow the RVR to go over different terrains including asphalt, gravel, grass, and dirt. The RVR also comes with 2 or 4 planetary gear motors that can drive both single and dual axle trailers.
The design of the belt and machine makes it useless unless the machine is used on a perfectly flat surface. On any incline the belt slips off of the drive sprockets and jams or stretches the belt. I’ve replaced belts and tried multiple mounting points for the RVR9 without any consistent success.
My trailer is under the maximum trailer and tongue weight capacity for the RVR9. Very disappointed, machine is essentially useless.
here’s a review from an owner that’s had an RVR9 for almost 4 years now. my travel trailer is a 25 ft. Airstream that’s roughly around 7500lb loaded. i use the RVR9 to move my trailer out from my backyard, through the side of my house, and down a driveway that has a downgrade of 5 degrees.
i literally could not use my travel trailer without the RVR 9. the passage through the side of my house has a 1. 5″ room of play on either side of my Airstream. it’s a tight fit! so, the RVR9 is a must for us.
and it has not let us down in all the years i’ve had it. i’m completely happy with it! Trailer Valet’s customer service has been excellent, too. they’ve always had time to answer my questions and they’ve even been helpful in servicing it too.
that’s awfully important to me since i depend on this product so much. thinking about an RVR? get it. it’s worth it.
Get rid of the existing battery charger and redesign the RVR5 circuits so a battery charger/tender can be charged and maintain it. Having to run the RVR5 around in circles for 15 minutes every 2 months is nuts, especially since Tender technology is so inexpensive and readily available.
I have a narrow driveway with a 4. 9-degree cement slope facing a street with parked cars. At the end of a long trip, parking the RV under those conditions was beyond me. The RVR5 has eliminated the danger of damaging, my house, my RV, or a parked car; and instead of having to face a significant amount of stress at the end of a trip, I can look forward to more fun.
Trailer Valet is a tongue jack and trailer dolly that easily moves most any trailer up to 5,000 lbs. with a turn of the drive handle. Features dual 9′ tires and positraction for making tight turns and maximum traction, and an integrated automatic brake applied when handle is released for superior safety, making it ideal for boat, RV, construction, farm, horse, RTV, and flat bed trailers.
The Trailer Valet works by simply turning the hand crank that powers our patented drive system. The drive system features both high and low gears and can be operated from either the right or left side.
Also, when the steering handle is in the up position, it engages the drive system and allows you to steer into tight or otherwise inconvenient spots. When the handle is released the brake system is engaged.
This trailer dolly can be conveniently locked into the upright position in seconds for easy storage when the job is done, or be quickly moved to reposition another trailer. For trailer tongues that are rectangular in profile, not cylindrical.
I have been working in an industry for the last 10 years that has required moving all different types of trailers. The job demands moving trailers on a daily basis, multiple times a day. I recently found the Trailer Valet and installed it on my 1959 Canned-Ham Trailer.
This product is bulletproof and easy to use for anyone on property. I have already been looking at the other models Otto purchase for other trailers on property. This is truly a revolutionary product.
I would recommend these products to anyone that is in the market.

My 2002 sierra had a slot for a two by 4 to divide the bed for holding stuff towards the back of the bed. My 2017 Silverado has the slot but the bed curves in at the bottom making the two by 4 idea not work.
This small-sized load lock works great for holding items (groceries) in place and takes 5 seconds to remove and or install, when loading larger stuff in the bed Highly recommended.
Heavy duty, easy to install, will not slip when large lateral weight applied. Repositions easily. Good value product, buy two, why use inferior bungee cords?
If your like me and have longer beach fishing rods you know the Gladiator bed is to short. I bought this and attached 2″pvc pipe with pipe clamps. It tips if you don’t use the front of the bed as a stop but it works none the less.
Awesome RC vehicle. All ready to go other than needing your own battery and charger. Great fun and this has the e-brake where the Arrma felony does not. Wouldn’t suggest for kids might be a little much for them to handle.

The trailer is well built and a reasonable price. I would have given it 5-stars, but I was not impressed by the electrical work. Right out the gate, when I drove it home one of the plastic covers for a light fell off.
Apparently it was not screwed on very tight. My second complaint is all the exposed wiring. While there is a lot of built in conduit used, there is also a lot of places where the wires are exposed. In other words, the electrical layout could have been detailed better.
Being in construction and using this trailer ALL the time, I’m constantly trying to avoid exposed wires when climbing around or tying down loads. Not to mention the few places available to hook a ratchet strap to, have wires running through some.
It’s frustrating. I’m completely re-wiring it myself just to place the wires in better places. Besides the electrical, I do love the trailer.
This is a strong, well built trailer that i suspect will serve my needs for years to come. I bought it to upgrade an older and lighter weight trailer, but also wanted to be able to haul my JD tractor should I have the need.
I haven’t done so yet, but I did haul it from Florida to north Iowa and back with a Sand Rail dune buggy. It tows very well and has brakes on all four wheels which is a huge plus. FYI, you need a seven plug trailer connector and an Electric Brake Controller in order for the electric brake to function.
I didn’t give it five stars because of quality assurance issues. My trailer has all of the discrepancies many others have mentioned. Runny paint, weld splatter, less than desirable method of wire splicing, however, all lights currently work, rust from rubbed of paint during shipping, and wood blocks from shipping still in the suspension system.
Checked all of the hardware for security and found the left side to be tighter than the right which indicates nothing is torqued to a specific amount, however, none of the hardware was what I would consider to be loose.
The ramp lowers and raises very easily as the assist springs are pretty strong. The ramp will lower forward to lay on the deck, but requires that you cut a couple grooves in the wood for the latch receivers on the ramp to recess into which I did.
The ramp with all of its holes is still a huge air brake. Overall I’m very happy and at $1,000 less than the other trailer brands available to me I’m willing to overlook the minor cosmetic discrepancies.
I just purchased a brand new 2021 6x14GWBRK2 utility trailer from Tractor Supply. Upon picking it up, I find that the paint or whatever it is they spray these things with, is worn off from other trailers being stacked on it for transport and is already rusting.
Some areas of the trailer it’s on so thick that it hasn’t even dried yet. My hands and arms were covered in a roof patch tar like matter. The electrical wiring leaves a lot to be desired. The trailer brake wires just dangle down on the inside of the tires literally rubbing against the tires.
The emergency breakaway cable box was broken off the trailer and was just dangling. I had to remove the rivet that held it to the trailer and reattach it. One of the tail/brake lights weren’t working, upon further inspection, it wasnt properly tightened to trailer so it wasn’t grounding properly.
I load my Yamaha Wolverine x4 on the trailer and go to close ramp gate and locking pins no longer line up with holes. The ramp is now bowed and I had to put a wood block on the ground and let ramp down and place block in the center edge and my son and I each had to stand on the corners to bend it back.
Now I will have to reinforce the ramp as well as remove rust and repair paint, and figure out how to correct the wiring. All in all, the trailer itself towed nicely and is built with quality and seems solid so far.
I have only owned it for 3 days but traveled about 100 miles to pick it up. I’m hoping Carry On might be able to refund me a little something for all the repairs I have and will need to make on this brand new trailer.
The towing capacity of a pick-up truck for towing a travel trailer is typically between 4,000 and 10,000 pounds.
4-wheel drive
The main benefit of a 4-wheel drive pick up truck when towing is the increased traction and stability that the four wheels provide. This is especially beneficial when towing on slippery or uneven surfaces, as the four wheels can help to prevent the trailer from sliding or becoming unsteady.
Additionally, a 4-wheel drive pick up truck may be able to tow a heavier load than a 2-wheel drive truck, as the extra wheels provide extra strength and support.
payload capacity
The payload capacity of a typical pick up truck for towing is around 1,500 to 2,000 pounds. However, this will vary depending on the make and model of the truck.
towing features
purposes
Some of the towing features of pick up trucks that are beneficial for towing purposes include a powerful engine, a sturdy frame, a hitch receiver, and trailer brakes. Having a powerful engine is important for towing because it allows the truck to easily pull a heavy load.
A sturdy frame is necessary in order to provide support for the weight of the trailer and cargo. The hitch receiver is used to attach the trailer to the truck, and trailer brakes are essential for safely stopping the trailer.
safety features
Some safety features to consider when towing with a pick-up truck include:
-Using a weight-distributing hitch to help distribute the weight of the trailer evenly between the truck and trailer, and to the front and rear axles of the truck
-Making sure the trailer is properly connected and secured to the truck
-Checking the tires on the truck and trailer to ensure they are properly inflated and not worn
-Checking the brakes on the trailer to ensure they are functioning properly
-Using caution when driving, and being aware of the increased weight and length of the vehicle when towing
comfort and convenience features
Some of the comfort and convenience features that you may want to consider when choosing a pick-up truck for towing purposes include: the size of the cab (e. g. extended or crew cab), the type of transmission (e.
g. automatic or manual), the power and towing capacity of the engine, the type of brakes (e. g. disc or drum), the suspension system, and the overall stability of the vehicle. You will also want to make sure that the truck you choose has enough space to store all of your towing equipment, such as a trailer, a boat, or a camper.
warranty
The warranty on a pick-up truck for towing is typically between 3 and 5 years. However, it is always best to check with the manufacturer to be sure.
price
The average price of a pick-up truck that is able to tow is around $30,000. The size and make of the truck will determine how much it can tow and how much it will cost.
Conclusion
The conclusion of a pick up truck for towing is that it is a great option for towing a boat or trailer. They are very powerful and can tow a lot of weight.
