This candle smells great, the wicks needed to be longee, the melted candle keeps putting out the flame. Ither than that its a great candle.

I like that it is a soy wax but I really don’t like the scent smells like plastic when lit. It is no wonder it is an artificial based fragrance oil (petroleum based), and NOT a natural essential oil scent as it may have portrayed with “soy” factor which is actually good for you, but not with by breathing in petroleum based fragrance oil.

So if you’re looking for an actual all natural soy candle with natural essential oil because you don’t want to breath in petroleum chemical fragrance oil (worst of its kind to breath in as fragrance oil is burnt.

), then avoid it at all cost. This smells pretty bad. It is ok when it is not lit but I bought soy candle to light it as a candle, which emits plasticky smell (awful), I would not buy one nor would I recommend to my friends and family.

A company is misleading saying it is soy, they use cheap artificial cheap fragrance oil (it smells like light version of Yankee lavender candle when it is not lit). Upon lighting it up, it smells like gasoline or plastic burnt.

Awful.

I received the tin as my free gift. Maybe a blend or maybe I am used to cheaper fragrances. In any case, I burned the candle for 2 hours. 1st 30 mins didn’t notice any scent. I left to run an errand and when I came back home, the sweet smell had filled the air.

The scents are gentle, as are most Mrs. Meyer’s products, thus they don’t give off a pungent, perfumey smell. Rather, it’s a gentle, enjoyable, uplifting fragrance that gradually fills the air. So if you can’t smell the candle after 30 mins or so, go outside for a few mins and come back in.

Pretty sure you’ll smell it. These are great for people that are sensitive to smell but still would like to enjoy a scented candle. Will definitely be adding to my monthly subscription.

I absolutely adore the Acorn Spice scent for autumn. So many fall scents go overboard on the cinnamon, and I cannot stand cinnamon in candle form in the slightest. I was surprised to see that cinnamon is listed as part of the make-up of this scent because I can’t smell it at all.

I think it adds depth without being detectable. Acorn Spice is definitely a “heavier” fall scent – think cologne rather than perfume – but it evokes such a cozy feel of warmth and fallen leaves that it’s perfect for the season.

The candle’s great, too. It doesn’t burn super evenly at first, but once the wick gets down into the jar itself, any wax that’d been left behind on the sides will melt back down into the whole.

The jar design is awesome. Feels like a high-end candle. The smell reminds me of a flower scent mixed with a laundry detergent scent. I like the fragrance! This is my first time using a candle with the wooden wick.

It said to trim the wick down to 1/4″ by rubbing my finger on the top. I couldn’t do that before lighting, so I lit the wick and rubbed the black part off after blowing it out. The wick debris made a big mess in the candle wax and it looked awful.

However, I’m not going to deduct stars for that. It simply means I don’t prefer wooden wicks, but not that I don’t like this candle. All wooden wicks would probably have this issue. The scent fills the room well.

Every time I light it, I’m able to smell it within minutes. It doesn’t lose its scent as the candle burns. I’m satisfied with the fragrance dispersion. Here’s where the issue lies. It keeps releasing wisps of white smoke.

I noticed this while watching the cozy flame. I wasn’t sure why it did this, but by the time I was done using the candle, the room had a smokey smell. I even went and bought 2 more wooden-wicked candles (each from a different company) and I had the same issue with the smoke.

Not sure if this is something I should be concerned about. In this case, I don’t think Candle-lite did anything wrong though. It seems that all wooden wicks are going to be smokey and hard to trim. This particular candle wasn’t made wrong, it’s just made with a wick type I don’t care for.

I’ll still continue to be a Candle-lite enthusiast. If there’s something you’d like me to know, please tell me. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, or maybe the smoke isn’t something to be concerned about.

Wonderful ‘woodsy’ smell. Although classic ClCO candle and has a nice strong everlasting scent, it seems to be one of the more understated ones. The woodsy smell is a clean one, meaning no weird perfumey lingering smells.

It’s probably a good gift for most. It is also important to note that because it has a bamboo wick it flickers more creating a wonderful classic glow! It never goes out on it’s own. The flame is also larger because of the length of the bamboo.

Waaay better than a ‘wick’. Love this product line of candles!.

Let me start off by saying that I am normally a bath&body works candle girl. I rarely try others and have never had a different brand come close to standing up to my bath&body works candles. But this right here is a TRUE GEM! And $10 cheaper than B&BW! Not to mention its burn time is simply AMAZING! The smell literally fills the hall of my house from my bedroom.

It is truly the best candle EVER! Well worth the $15 because it will last you a couple weeks and thats if you light it every day for 6/7 hours a day! Don’t walk literally RUN AND GET THIS CANDLE!.

I bought this candle on a whim during a recent Target trip. I love the smell of honeysuckle and was excited to find that Mrs. Meyer’s was making products with that scent. I’d just spent quite a bit of money on a honeysuckle candle that ended up having basically no scent so I wasn’t too hopeful but boy was I wrong in a good way! It’s so wonderfully fragrant and in my opinion just smells natural and not of chemicals at all.

My husband and I are both pretty sensitive to strong perfume, chemical smells and cigarette smoke (so basically lots of scents) and both are very happy with it and I’m planning on ordering more right now! Thanks for making such a great, cost effective product Mrs.

This is my favorite candle from Mrs Meyers…smells like REAL lavender and according to my husband not a public bathroom lol 😆 the scent is very calming and one candle makes our living room and kitchen smell so good.

It burns clean and there is no soot. I like that it’s not smoky. It’s as if you were walking through a field of fresh lavender.

This is a good candle to purchase. The scent is more of a honey lavender, which smells wonderful. However, I have smelled stronger lavender candles. I like that the cover was a screw top seal. Candle is perfect for a room, the throw covers one room.

Great for a gift or just for your home.

I originally found these candles at our local family-owned grocery and fell in love with the scent. It turns my bathroom into a spa each time I burn these candles! The scent is strong enough to fill a room without being too overwhelming.

Other candles like this have given me a headache, but these have just enough eucalyptus and mint. They also burn for several hours. I tend to light one in the morning to set a peaceful mood for the day and they may stay burning all day.

I had the smaller ones from the grocery that seemed to burn out pretty quickly because I burned them EVERY day, but these larger ones are lasting forever. These candles are a really great product and the shipping was simple and well packaged so that every candle came intact.

I live near so many different TJ Maxx/Marshall’s/Home Goods stores that have candles for great prices, but when you find a scent you really love, you want that all the time. I will absolutely be purchasing these again from Candle-Lite and my local grocery when they restock after I bought them out.

I purchased four candles but I am not satisfied with any of them. The scents/fragrances are too subtle. I would like to return them all but I do not want to pay the shipping cost. I purchased multiple candles to get free shipping.

I will not make future purchases. I will take my losses and move forward.

I love all of the Mrs Myers products I’ve ever purchased, and the one thing I really loved was how natural their products are. Another thing I also loved was the scent, so when I found out they made candles, I bought more than I should have.

They are a little spendy, but they are soy blended, and make my whole house instantly smell amazing. I’m currently using the lavender scent, it adds a calming aroma to my space, even if it’s not lit and I leave the lid open, I can smell it when I walk back in my house 💗.

Beautiful scent. It’s an herbal, earthy, and clean lavender. Not floral, powdery, or soft. I started with the smallest and I’m upgrading the larger size. Looking forward to that “spa vibe” at home.

i was really looking forward in lighting this candle. however, within an hour of lighting it the wax had tunneled down into the candle and kept putting the flame out. this meant that i had to spend the whole evening tipping excess wax out of the centre of the candle just to keep it alight.

Much bigger than I expected! This needs to be burnt for a fairly long time to melt all the wax on the top, but it smells lovely and citrusy and relaxing. It looks high quality, the only small thing is that when the wax dries (the bit you have just burnt) it is a little cracked.

I read online this shows that it is high quality soy wax, however if you mind the look this candle may not be the best for you! I think it looks fine.

This is a extreme issue in Hawaii. As a Kanaka Moali this breaks my puuwai knowing that one day my people and our beautiful aina will no longer exist and be completely taken from us. please change your scent to not PINEAPPLE AND SUGARCANE it is very offensive and PINEAPPLE and sugar cane are one of the reason Hawaii was colonized.

These candles are absolutely amazing. I’m from the tropics, my boyfriend is from Upstate New York, and we live in San Francisco. I bought the New York candle and the Beach Cottage candle as a housewarming little Christmas gift for me and him, and wow my senses tingled, I cried and rolled on the floor a little bit because the scent made me feel like I was being given a warm hug.

Especially with COVID making us feel so isolated, these candles made me imagine that I was back on an island sipping out of a coconut and staring at the water. I was a little hesitant spending this much on a candle, but my golly the way the scent tugs on your heart makes you feel like heaven is a place on earth.

Every time I light these candles I can feel the sand in my toes. On the flip side, my boyfriend said that it was almost as if he was in the Adirondacks again, which is where he grew up. These candles burn so well, and the quality is amazing.

They fill the room with light and love and I can say that these candles are the reason that we can endure the stay at home order. Thank you homesick candles for making me feel like all can be right with the world again.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He’s originally in Iowa, we met in Nebraska, and now we live in Chicago! He’ s a true country boy, so I did a little personalized message and it really touched his heart.

He really enjoys lighting it and it smells amazing! Their flame time isn’t anything special, but burns about average for the size it is. I also gotta thank the customer service team (shout out Ryan) for saving the day when I messed up on the personalized message like a fool.

I often use Homesick for a cute added bonus to any gift. I even use them for when we send gifts to clients at work for when they buy a new home, move across the country, miss the italian beef from Chicago, etc.

I could choose anywhere, and it’s so easy to shop at Homesick. I sound like a paid reviewer, but this is an honest culmination of thoughts I have with this brand.

As soon as I opened the box the candle was in, I was introduced to its heavenly scent. It has a nice citrusy that isn’;t too overwhelming. It’;s far more delicate compared to the other candles I have.

My boyfriend bought me this candle when he got his shampoo conditioner and stuff because I love the scent of his shampoo. So glad he did cause LOVE THIS CANDLE. It smells a little stronger than the shampoo so it’s perfect for me.

This is the second Zeus candle I’ve bought. The whiskey/verbena lime scent Replaces unpleasant odor with a light scent.

I purchased the product naively thinking the candle fragrance was all natural (read “contains essential oils”). After I received and smelled it, I could tell the candle was likely made with a combination of natural and artificial fragrances.

There is no ingredient list on the Vitacost website nor on the manufacturer’s site, an unfortunate omission. I requested information directly from the manufacturer. Their reply confirmed what I had surmised.

If you have no problem with artificial scents for yourself or for those around you who will be breathing in the chemicals, you will enjoy the pleasant and complex scent. It is not for me, however the product looks lovely and is well-made.

I used to purchase your candles at Walgreens or Ingles. They stopped carrying them. Those were awesome, Vert Fragrant. Loved them so much, I found your company name was thrilled I could purchase the essential oil candles directly.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed because these candles are not as fragrant as the ones at your distributor stores. So, I have purchased essential oil lavender and cedarwood and will make my own. I guess your company cut back in the oil put into your candles and it definitely showed.

This is my absolutely favorite scent of every candle ever. I’m embarrassed how many I buy when they are on sale. Let’s just say I am set for the next 2 years and I burn these candles for an average of 3-4 hours a day.

The throw is amazing both lit and unlit. It burns perfectly and I think they last much longer than 45 hours. Please never discontinue this scent!.

With that description you can only wonder, but it turns out it is quite nice. I think they captured the way I feel entering a loved one’s home during the season.

Thought I was getting a great candle. The candle burns terribly and extremely uneven. I’m not happy about it at all. I wasted my money on this purchase.

Ive had mixed luck with these. Sometimes the wick drowns, but I have noticed that leaving them to burn for at least a few hours each time its lit tends to help as it melts the wax more evenly. The scents are good but not very strong as others have mentioned.

If you have the candle in a smaller area (like a bathroom or small bedroom) though, the scent is more detectable. However, the reason I will be removing this from my subscribed items is because the wick base is placed on top of 1/4 inch of wax in the bottom of the jar and it the metal plate holding the wick has a high clearance, meaning that the bottom 1/2 inch of wax at the bottom of the jar is wasted because the wick cant reach it.

It makes it difficult to clean the wax out of the jar for recycling/reusing. I really wanted these to be awesome because I love Mrs Meyers, but they just. aren’t.

I love this candle. I usually purchase A Name Brand Candle for all my rooms. Let me tell you this is an expensive feat for bathrooms, living, dining, mudrooms, etc. So when I had the opportunity to try Mrs.

Meyer’s Honeysuckle Soy Candle I was excited. I love Mrs. Meyers’s brand of products, their commitment to the planet and the wonderful scents, but the effectiveness of everything I’ve tried has always left me impressed.

I love this little jar, it’s designed is bulky to look in place in a mudroom and cool in a kitchen/ bedroom. The scent quickly fills the air once lit, and the burndown of the candle is very slow. I have been using mine a lot with all of us being in the same house it gets stuffy, and it’s still going strong.

What I also love about the candle is that like all other Mrs. Meyer’s Products they are so reasonably priced. In this day and age when we need to protect our planet and resources, so many of the planet-friendly products are quite expensive and a barrier for consumers to use.

But I will not be heading to my local candle store anymore, instead, I’ll be buying all my candles from the Mrs. Meyer’s collections.

This is a high quality candle. I have bought many many of these candles and am about to buy more. For me, this is a lovely scent not too overpowering, not too subtle. Another feature I especially like is the shape and see-through glass.

Not like a mason jar, not colored glass so you can see the flame flicker. Wick is also excellent. It arrived quickly too!.

Candle was delivered on a hot day so the wax melted over the wick and tried to dig it out with no success. I can only use on a candle warmer. It smells more like maple syrup than coffee. Still nice scent but not what I was hoping for.

The wording on the candle is a sticker. It arrived with an air bubble under the sticker. I really wanted to love this, but I don’t. It was packaged well for glass and did arrive quickly.

This “pine balsalm” candle has little to no pine smell! It gives off a strong irritating smell even when unlit. I had to move it outside so I was not irritated. They have a horrible refund policy too.

You pay $7 to return a $10 candle. Look elsewhere.
