14 Best No Drill Curtain Rod Brackets (2023 Updated)

These double bracket held the rod for my draperies and my valance perfectly. They are also constructed out of heavy metal. I can attest to their strength because they are holding the weight of 9 foot long, higher-end upholstery quality drapes and box pleated valances.

They have been mounted into the wall with Molly Bolts and so far, all is wonderful. Highly recommend these wall brackets. The drape and the valance (on different rods) are very close together, so be careful what style of valance and drape you hang together or they may conflict with one another, fighting for the space in between the rods.

Bought these brackets to hold one rod with my valance and a parallel rod behind it with my heavy drapery. Was concerned that the combined weight may be too heavy. Very pleased to receive the brackets and find them to be HEAVY-DUTY.

I mounted them into a plaster wall with the plastic anchors and long screws which ARE included. Note that they are 6-1/2 inches long, so will extend that far from the wall.

I like to compare reviews and prices. So shopping around I found these curtain brackets to be a good ones with quality and price.

Negative Con: Advertised on the front of the box it says “Set of 2” which I thought “set” equals 2 which in the box should have included a total of 4 brackets. Called ACE Hardware for clarification before I purchased and employee also came to the same conclusion.

a total of 4 in the box. Tap Bracket has only 2 brackets in the box folks. so buyer beware!!! At $16. 99 for only two brackets, its outrageous! For 4 non metal brackets this is false advertising. I’m bummed.

now I’m in a dilemma. Spend another $40. 00 because I need 4 more brackets or not. Its going to be a definite NO for me!!!!.

Whomever made this thought about the ppl who can’t use a drill or don’t have the strength to screw in a nail manually. I’m glad I found these b/c my window frame did not allow me to drill as deep as the nails provided with my new rods.

I just made unnecessary holes. These take a minute to put up. And the quality is very good. Nice, thick steel to insure it will hold the weight of the curtains!! Thx for making this product!!! Will buy more!.

Hello I was excited to find this product I couldn’t wait to get them. I bought too boxes on line from you and one at a local Boscov’s store. To my disappointment my excitement was pretty much wasted.

Two tacks were missing on the brackets, two others snapped right off and one was bend. I’m sure you do have other good products but I was so depending on these! Could you please reimburse me or at least send me new packages?? Much appreciated! Blessings Melanie Eslinger.

I was not sure about buying the “Tap Bracket”, mostly because the As Seen On TV products don’t always deliver as far as quality. But these are exactly what it says! And it was so easy! I hung my curtains “get this” ALL BY MYSELF! Usually I have to get help from my husband.

But not this time, I will definitely buy more! Totally Recommend!!!.

We bought two sets of these for our downstairs french doors, and this purchase was for 5 sets for our master bedroom. We will never go back to “normal” methods of awful dry wall screws/anchors. These work so well!.

I wish I had known about these a year ago. I like my living room dark when watching movies or playing video games to avoid reflections. I have some vertical blinds over slider doors in my apartment and did not think there was a way to put up blackout curtains without taking down the blinds which I did not want to do.

A quick google search lead to these and they worked like a charm. Super easy to install and supports the curtain rod and heavy blackout curtains no problem. Reasonably priced as well. I definitely recommend!.

These brackets work as described. I just bought my 4th set of brackets. I did 2 sets of silver and 2 sets of brown. Each of the colors match perfectly with the same color curtain rods I bought. I was able to easily tighten the screw to the headrail and it feels secure.

Each package of brackets also came with two pieces of precut 3M double sided tape. I did not have to use the tape. I used my brackets with a 3/4″ lightweight curtain rod and hung mostly sheers or a lightweight curtain.

Just make sure your headrail is secured in the wall because all the weight is still on the headrail itself. I do wish these brackets were available in stores, it’s a great product for damage-free hanging.

I’m not a renter but not having to put any more holes in my own walls is always a good thing and I’m able to keep my existing blinds but now I can change things up a bit with curtains. I do think the brackets are over priced (especially since all you get is a bracket and no curtain rod).

It will be an investment if you have a lot of windows you want to change (I’m still thinking if I want to do my other 4 windows). The company’s FAQ’s and instructional video clips are really helpful and it’s really that easy to install.

If I could personally thank the person who thought up these great brackets I would. I wish I had known about them sooner! What a fantastic way to add curtains on top of the standard vertical blinds that came with the condo without the hassle of hanging new hardware.

The curtains are already doing a great job of keeping the cold winter air out. I look forward to the summer cooling cost savings as well. I am buying 4 inside mounted sets for other windows as well. Thank you, Walmart and Nono Bracket Co.

These brackets are adjustable. I have them holding up a curtain above the verticle blinds you find along sliding glass patio doors. Those vertical blinds come so far away from the wall, it was difficult to find brackets wide enough to fit.

I did have to take the decorative strip that goes along the top of the vertical blinds. With that off (it adds another 2 inches away from the wall), these brackets worked well at 4 inches. I recieved them almost a week before they were supposed to get to me.

These are sturdy and nice for extending curtain rods beyond whatever may be an obstruction on the window before it; like another rod holding sheers and you want to hang heavier curtains over the sheers and swag them open.

Works really well as it extends the rod out just far enough so the curtains will drape naturally. Good quality.

I love these. They are the only ones that not only secure your rod but extend and pivot. Very handy and clever.

Wow, it would be hard to design a worse set of rod brackets. Every aspect of this product is wrong. First, the closest distance they let the rod go to the wall is quite far, which causes curtains to fail at their primary purpose: keeping light out.

Second, the screw that you tighten to secure the rod to the holder faces the wall. So, no screwdriver can fit that once it’s up. All you can do is pre-tighten it and then sort of force the rod in. Third, the “top screw hole” to attach to the wall is so close to the perpendicular metal that you can forget any idea you have of using an electric drill.

Even screwdrivers have a hard time fitting the space when attaching it to the wall. Fourth, the screw that attaches the rod holder to the wall-holding part is the same distance as the other poorly positioned screw hole, so now you’re fighting against the wall to try to push the rod as close to the wall as you can.

I never gave a thought to how well designed my usual cheap rod brackets are, which have none of these problems, and I’m going to THROW THESE OUT once Coronavirus is done and the stores are open and I can get my usual ones.

I am very pleased with the stylish performance of the Umbra adjustable curtain bracket. I had to hang a pair of blackout curtains in my living room to cover my French doors from the heat during the day.

The Umbra bracket really does the job. I wanted to hang them slightly out from the bracket to give my room dimension and for this it was perfect! My curtains are securely hung in place. I don’t have to worry about flimsy hardware being the downfall of my decor.

They are made of metal and built solid to hold. They have survived my 3 year old helping out to pull the curtains. I also love the dark black color. It matches my rod seamlessly and looks very stylish.

This curtain rod is perfect of you rent your home. No need to use nails or mounting hardware. This is basically a tension curtain rod, but a fancy version. This one is chocolate brown, with fancy end caps.

very nice looking. The only thing a little frustrating about it, is getting the tension tight enough for it to stay in place. I wasn’t great at implementing it, challenging for me, but my husband is tall, and he had the better advantage of figuring it out and getting it to work as it should.

Good product, just may take a little practice to get it to stay in place until you get the hang of it.

These are great! They can be used on walls too. I placed them on the wall going upstairs and attached a stretch clothes line with clips on it and hung all my hats. which is totally out of the way and made use of an empty wall.

These suck. I tried hanging them on my ceiling and there is no way to tighten the screws to actually make it sit flush with the ceiling once the attaching pieces are through the holes. I had to chop the screws with garden shears to get the thing off and am now left with two big holes in my ceiling.

I find ceiling mounted brackets very practical for hanging light planters. They work superbly with the artificial hanging arrangements. I also like using these brackets by adding the rod and use shower curtain type hooks on material my wife made to cover the space under our cellar steps.

Very handy to have around!!.
