also, if you think it will hug your phone, think again!!!!! it will not hug. it is loose, with very soft feeling rubber around it. fit and finish is second to worst. and if you think I haven’t seen a good phone case, I will tell you, I have a body glove case before this one for my older phone, and I loved it.

I regret that I decided to give this one a try , just based on fancier look, compared to minimalistic looks of the body glove satin for moto G. summary: I will repeat: are you obsessed with the details? don’t even touch it!.

Excellent case that provides great protection. Rubber interior with ballistic (?) plastic. This is the second one I have owned. It can take a good beating. Not saying you should toss it against walls in a fit of rage or run it over with your Hummer, but if you occasionally drop it down the stairs or falls out of you lap while getting out of the car and into the street then your phone should be protected.

Recently purchased to protect my phone. The back of this case is very smooth. It slid out of my hand and straight to the floor. Landed on the side of the housing and screen shattered. DO NOT BUY this case if you’re looking to protect your phone.

The Defender Series Case is perfect for outdoor activities. It has 2 positive locking leak proof rubber seals for your charging and computer input cables. A solid rubber exterior to prevent damage to your phone for those times when you accidentally drop your phone to the ground.

I’ve carried this case on extended kayak and hiking trips without any issues through heavy rain storms, rapids and rough water. My phone stayed dry, although I was soaked wet on many occasions. The cases’ plastic screen protector is pretty scuffed up after a year of very hard use.

It would be nice to see Otter Box replace those with a gorilla glass screen, that would be my only con on the case. Other than that, it is money well spent to keep your phone safe.

The shell fits good, but typing the letter “P” on the keyboard is difficult. The casing is really close to the letter when trying to type. My phone keeps coming out of the holder on my belt. I have to keep pushing it back in all the way, to keep it in there.

I’m going to have to get a holder that keeps holding my phone.

Easy to assemble fits tight and is very sturdy. I had to learn how to not get part of my shirt in the holder but that was the only hard part to learn. already tested the drop protection and it passed with no problem.

Highly recogmend this case in a bright color it is easier to find where you left it !!.

Was kind of worried about the quality being worth paying twice what I normally pay for cell phone cases, but this one has yet to disappoint. Passes the test with flying colors when dropped or stepped on, the movable rubber port covers are quite elastic and return to their original position quite easily.

Even dropped my phone in a wave in the ocean a week ago (waterproof phones are the best) and loved how easy it was to pop the cover off, remove sand and water and reinsert my phone. It was like it never fell in the ocean.

Bought this item 1 month ago. Pros:The case and belt clip holster are good quality it provides a good protection and the stand provides a nice way to view the screen without holding the phone. Cons: The phone removal/ insertion (take a call and put the phone back) from/to the holster is VERY difficult, by the time I removed the phone from the holster the call is lost.

When rubber (from the case) and plastic (from the holster) enters in contact, makes it very difficult to handle.

The actual phone case is fairly nice. It’s rla little slippery in your hand. But the worst thing about this is the belt clip. It’s a piece of junk. It’s not as comfortable as others I’ve had and it only lasted a week! One night I took it off and a piece of the plastic broke making it useless.

Quite disappointed. I purchased 2 of these knowing that eventually the first one would break and I wouldn’t have to wait for days to order and receive another one. The first one broke the first day I got it so I used the second one and it broke the following day.

How sad to have spent that money and I got nothing for it. The phone case itself fits way to tight in the belt clip and causes you to have to force it into the plastic frame thereby breaking it. I challenge you to use the product with an actual phone installed and it will break as well.

It is good quality. The picture makes it look like its a dark white or a light grey and dark grey. The white is pretty glaring. I love the way it looks online, but in reality, it’s not so good looking.

Either way, I would have kept it had I not ordered for the wrong phone.

After half an hour of use at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, the camera becomes like burning coal, overheats and turns off. The video is crashing. The video quality is terrible – everything is soapy and noisy even in good lighting conditions.

Sent it back for a replacement. If they send the same illiquid – I will hand over and return the money. A nightmare. Every year gopro is made worse and worse.

I can say this works great. I dropped my phone three times on concrete. (Reasons why you hold the phone instead of putting it on top of the stack you are carrying. ) The only time the case wasn’t like new was the last time when it landed exactly on the corner.

6) Other notes of interest: Consists of a soft silicone rubber insert that hugs your phone and extends around the corners. A hard case snaps over it and is slightly raised on the front to protect the screen when you set the phone down face first.

The case is very smooth and glossy so it slides easily into your pocket. At first I thought that was a bad thing but the rubber tabs on the side give it traction so it won’t slip out of your hand and it feels nice.

(Just don’t put it on top of a stack of books you are carrying like I did. ) I had the previous case for a year and it still looked brand new. I have the Hibiscus Electric Purple version so nobody else around me has the same case.

Had 2 different cases break on me within the span of a month, both in the same spot where the hard plastic is thin near the volume button on the S22. The only reason I didn’t go with a single star is because I found the customer support to be very helpful after the first case broke, which they had replaced for free.

Unfortunately though, I think the designers/engineers need to go back to the drawing board and I’ll be switching to a different brand.

I have a Samsung Note 8. I have been trying to find a protective case for my phone but since it is an older version i couldn’t find it in stock anywhere. Byron took care of ordering a case and having it delivered to my home while I was in the store.

I paid for the case, shipping was free and I received it a week earlier than expected. The brand is Incipio, it is a 2 layer case and is a beautiful color of burgundy/mauve in a matte finish. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase and Byron was a pleasure helping me.

I had an Incipio case for an older model i-phone for 6 years- never had a problem – dropped occasionally and always protected. So I went with Incipio again for the i-phone SE 2020. Model Wm-IPH-1802-TRQ.

The old case had a secure grip with dual rubber frame but the new one is a cheaper plastic over hard rubber and not as secure to grip. Still, I feel it is sturdy if you happen to drop the phone with added protection at the corners/edges and sufficient depth of frame margins to protect the camera.

My complaint is with the on-off and volume buttons – impossible to press on and off without using 2 hands. It is not soft rubber but almost a hard plastic. Not for anyone with weak hands or arthritis- very poor design.

The older case had soft rubber cut outs over buttons. Why couldn’t Incipio use the same cut-outs as the older model? Doubt it will soften with use so my recommendation is skip it – go with another brand.

I plan to return this one.

Had a DualPro on my previous (Gen 1) SE. After 5+ years it looked the same as when new. Great combination of protection without a lot of added bulk. Just the right amount of GRIPPY here: An iPhone with no case at all is quite slick and slippery, and some other cases that actually claim to be grippy certainly are not (I’ve had a couple).

But the DualPro is not TOO grippy either, which ends up with lint etc stuck all over (had a couple like that also).

Do not recommend. I was recommended this case by a JB Hi-Fi employee after telling him how accident prone I am and that I drop my phone _a lot_. I have a brand new iPhone SE, only got it in March, got the case the same day and have already broken two glass screen protectors since the case is so low profile and has such terrible shock absorption.

It does nothing to protect the screen and my phone is pretty stuffed from the two drops.

I bought this for my husband’s new phone and was a bit skeptical at first, buying it on eBay at such a low price. I was pleasantly surprised! It came quickly ( even before the phone arrived ) and went on easily.

I had to remove it to put on the tempered glass I ordered ( the flimsy plastic film that comes with the Otterbox is pretty worthless for protecting your screen for more than just dirt and dust ), and it went back on just fine.

The holes for the buttons and speaker and charger are correct. Absolutely great price for a great product. I have had my otterbox for close to a year on my IPhone and it has protected it from many, many drops.

It isn’t the most fashionable case out there, but who cares? When you pay a lot of money for a phone, you want it to work and not break if you drop it! Five stars for you!!!!!.

After five years protecting my Moto x I decided to replace the otter box case. It finally showed some signs of wear. I have dropped my phone countless times on cement or asphalt and even into the lake a couple of times.

The phone is still in perfect condition. Not a single scratch on the screen or any Nick’s in the phone case. I am very pleased with the Otter Box. Great protection.

i wish i would have had one of these on my last motorola X. I might still have it. dropped it 2 times. 1. the screen cracked. but used it 5 more months until i dropped it again. both times on cement.

I had a 5s iPhone that was dropped a lot during the five years that I used it until the battery swelled and I needed to replace the phone with a newer SE model. An Otterbox Defender Series protection case was purchased with that phone and it protected the phone to look like new when I finally replaced it.

I had no hesitation to purchase another Defender Series to protect the new SE phone. This case is a rugged and hefty case that comes with a plastic screen protector built in so that you don’t have to buy one separately.

It has fairly thick rubber and feels substantial in your hand, but doesn’t add a lot of weight to the phone. The case is easy to open if dust gets under it to clean the phone (and the case itself), but that doesn’t happen too often since the Defender case is very snug and protects the phone.

The case buttons align perfectly to the iPhone buttons and the connection ports. I used the included belt clip/stand that came with the old case and that plastic clip broke about a year into owning the phone while I was walking down an airport terminal dropping the phone to the hard tile floor, but the phone was well protected during the fall.

Otterbox replaced that belt clip/stand for free and it again lasted about another year or so before the clip broke again. I really didn’t need to use the clip anymore, but it does make a decent stand for the phone.

The clip just has a weak point in the plastic that fatigues after some time of use. After five years the older case was suffering from some fatigue and stretch on the rubber, but that’s a lot of use over time.

The new case is virtually the same as the older one with a few slight changes to accommodate the different style of the newer iPhone. The protection covers for the charging port and the sound switch have thicker rubber which is good.

The case is thick enough to protect the camera lens on the back, cleans easily and has already protected the phone from a few drops. I have the black color just because it shows less damage marks or wear.

I hope that it will last as long as the previous case and so far, after a month or two, it’s been doing a great job. Nothing in the plastic or rubber appears to degrade the signal on the phone. I definitely recommend this case if you are rough on your phone and want good protection.

I bought the case about a year ago. Always has faithfully protected my phone from drops and bumps at home and at work. Took a massive blunt hit that could have destroyed my phone but ended up just needing the screen replaced.

These things are built like tanks. However, it did fail me. Cracked the screen when it hit the ground at an odd angle. Despite being a literal tank, the case isn’t perfect and can fail if the right amount of force hits it at the right angle.

For everyday use, it will not disappoint. If you work in a more haphazard environment, you should probably be careful and not let the seemingly invincible nature of this case make you careless. I would say it is hard to find a more protective case that can be used long after you are done with the device it is protecting, regardless of when you choose to upgrade.

My husband and I were visiting my mother in law and we stopped to pick up food to go. I placed my phone on the roof of the car and neglected to grab it once food and people were loaded into car. We left restaurant and my phone flew off the top of the car as we passed over a small bridge in Amelia Island, FL.

The phone hit the road, bounced off the cement wall protecting the walkway on bridge and remained on the side of the road until we realized I had left it on the roof. We returned to the bridge approximately 30minutes later to find my phone lying on the road, in total working order! Only a minor scratch on the left side.

It’s two later construction provides an abundance of well fitted protection for the Moto g4. Looks cool too! The packaging from Incpio states that it provides protection for drops of up to 12 ft(3. 7 m), while I won’t test this intentionally, the case seems well enough constructed to provide that amount of protection.

It’s a nice looking case with a sleek, minimalistic design that offers sufficient protection for my phone. I’d say the only thing that stops it from getting five stars is the lack of port covers and the case not having as much grip as I’d like, but I can live with those two caveats.

Compared to the Otterbox it replaced, I like that it does not have rigid plastic over the ends. That is what cracked and then broke on the OB. The Incipio has a soft rubbery feel on the ridged parts that gives it good feel with no slip.

Unsatisfactory. The case is not very tight and the holster is too large for case so it shifts and does not click tight. Works but not easy or secure enough.

Had the exact case on my Blackberry Z10 for years. Probably dropped my phone at least once a day and it did a good job protecting it. So, I decide to buy it for my new Motorola Moto X. Well, the 3 week of owning my new phone, i dropped it from a sitting postion, about 20 inches from the ceramic tile floor, phone landed face down and the glass screen shattered in a million pieces.

I have replaced the screen and bought a new soft case (soft inside with a harder plastic on the outside) to give it more protecton (it also covers the screen a little better). Guess the larger glass screen and the extra weight just was too much for this case.

This is really a great phone case especially for the price. It protects the edges around the glass and keeps it readily available on your belt if needed. I like that it doubles as a stand for your phone if you want to stream music.

I’ve purchased this case for other phones and have not had any problems.

Nice, sturdy case. Has a textured finish that’s easy to grip. The clip is seems very durable, strong spring, attaches nicely to belt.

A complete rip off. The cover does NOT fit the Moto G7 phone. The holes for the buttons and the charger are in the WRONG PLACE. And then when I returned it they charged a restocking fee. Don’t buy this for your phone.

3. 6 stars I like there is a micro SD card slot and headphone jack because I am old school. I am switching from a non-legacy carrier android to my first Samsung after advice from a techy friend. While the phone is fully functional and should last me more than a year (unlike my other smartphones for half the price), there are so many annoyances with this phone, I made a list: -Can’t turn off the phone with the small button (need to press and hold w/volume!) -No smartbutton for camera -Face unlock is horrible -Bright on lockscreen even in dark mode -Can’t hear media or raise volume in do not disturb mode -Can’t delete photos without phone asking for permission PER PHOTO -Amazon music app toggling some songs automatically in 15-20 secs.

Can’t find a fix for this! Never happened on any other device -Mini boxes the apps open automatically that are hard to close – Extra white circle floating inside camera app to take a photo I cant remove -Clock alarm note few characters only.

Often run out of space -Often I take a pic and it doesnt save to the album -Useless motion photo setting that makes a 1 sec video out of a picture! It was automatically set on when I bought the phone.

It’s the cheapest fully functional phone I could get, so I can’t complain, but it wouldn’t be my first choice given all that.

Love the tech21 covers. This isn’t my first. I initially bought one for my wife on one of her previous phones,I had a different brand. I was impressed w/the looks & style. It’s not very bulky but it’s tough.

99 is the best case available for our phone. No it does not have a kickstand and no it does not cover our USB-C port. This has great grip without attracting lint. This case is a sleek color and the checkered back is gorgeous.

I have had Otterbox Defender cases since the days of my iPhone 4 and now in the days of iPhone 12, I’m still hanging in there with my iPhone 7. I am now retired, from years of Over the Road trucking.

I have never damaged any of my phones due to moisture, weather or dropping etc, and we are talking some 6 to 7ft drops climbing in and out of tractors. My only criticism is in regards to the holster clip.

The one on my old iPhone 4 is still in good shape, but everyone of the clips for my plus phones over the years have had to be replaced multiple times. I began ordering replacement clips several at a time.

I would like to see Otterbox use a less brittle plastic for their clips. As I read the comments in the reviews, I realized that I had forgotten about the Otterbox guarantees. Not sure if the holster clips are covered but holsters are relatively cheap to replace where as phones are not, and Otterbox Defenders have kept my phones safe since 2010.

Now in retirement I know longer fear for my phones the hardships of trucking life. But reading reviews of the Commuter and Symmetry cases and some comments regarding the feel of them as a bit slippery, my current Defender’s rubber encasement has a secure feel and grips surfaces well.

I think the Defender will be my Otterbox of choice for a long time to come.
