Best Moisturizer For Closed Comedones (2023 Updated)

I must say this moisturizer turned out better than I expected. I was looking to purchase my normal holy hydration face cream that I implemented into my skin care routine several months ago but the store was out of stock.

I enjoy e. l. f. skincare products because they’re affordable and work just as well as some of the expensive brands which I’ve purchased in the past as well. There’s honestly only a couple of e. l. f.

skin essentials that haven’t worked for me. I’ve used my fair share of moisturizers and they’ve always been cream based, yet to my surprise this was a jelly based formula. Upon opening it I was confused but once I applied it as the last step in my regimen I loved how it settled on my skin.

I have combo skin type but tend to be more on the dry side. This hydrated my skin leaving somewhat of a tacky consistency but I personally don’t mind the tackiness at all. That’s a plus for me but perhaps not for someone else.

I’ll keep this as my skincare staple as long as it’s available and formulated just the way it is!.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for years. It’s good for sensitive skin. I use it morning and night. When I wake up the following morning, I notice it leaves my face greasy. I don’t mind it but maybe I need to use a different moisturizer for the night time.

Overall, I feel like the ingredients have changed and I don’t enjoy it as much. It may be a little too simple that it does the bate minimal for the skin. I would still recommend for younger people. Anyone can use it buy it depends on what you are looking for.

I bought this to replace my other major brand sensitive skin lotion that I learned had toxic chemicals in it. I never like switching brands because my skin breaks out so easily, but this had high ratings and no toxic chemicals.

I tried it out. and it is a little thicker than my other lotion, but strangely doesn’t feel thick when applied. A little goes a long way. My skin tends to go from normal to oily as the day does on, but with this lotion, my skin never gets oily! It’s great lotion and my skin doesn’t break out at all.

This is my new go-to face lotion!.

Can’t ask for more. It’s pretty straightforward. I used to buy other brand that claim to have more innovative ingredients, but as I got very sensitive skin, I broke out badly. CeraVe, la roche posay, Avene, Neutrogena, E.

L. F, and other brands all break me out or make my skin feel uncomfortable. This one does not. Although it does not help with other aspects except to moisturise your skin, it feels comfortable and does not make my skin red and itchy all day.

I massage it directly after toner and it takes a bit to sink it, but when it does, it does not make my skin oily at all. The light version did not work for me, so I thought this one might not work either.

That’s why I tried all of the reccommendations online, and none of them work. Thanks to the sales, I bought one on a whim, thinking that there is nothing else to lose and it is super cheap anyway. Now I stand this moisturiser and will not change!.

This is a great moisturizer. I use it on very dry parts of my face- mostly my nose and forehead. Before using this, my nose was crusty and would flake during the day, but it was also sensitive to some products.

I lathered this on my nose for about 3 weeks now and my nose is so much more moisturized and doesn’t get little bumps! It has no smell, which I appreciate since my skin can react to fragrance. There is a lot of product in the bottle-it will last you quite awhile and I still have more than half the bottle left after 3 weeks.

I highly recommend giving this a try if you’re looking for a lightweight moisturizer for sensitive skin. The only thing I will say is that I still prefer the Happy Hydration moisturizer cream from elf.

If you have dry skin like me, that one is much better to help hydrate the rest of the face. This one is more for sensitive skin, but I still really enjoyed this product along with the rest of the Pure Skin line.

i have always been acne prone & often get cystic breakouts. i am always wary of trying new skincare products but i had no choice but to get a new moisturizer a few months back because the one i was previously using wasn’t working for me.

i tried this because it seemed simple and not gimmicky like some other products, and i am now on my third bottle. i bought two more during the ulta sale. it’s nice and lightweight and hydrates my oily skin without adding grease.

it also plays well under makeup. i do want to point out that it’s not as heavy duty as many night moisturizers are. i use this as my morning skincare and use a thicker product at night. i personally do not find this moisturizing enough for my nighttime routine.

if you do choose to use this during the day like i do, remember to use spf! this has hyaluronic acid in it.

I was a bit hesitant using this moisturiser because I have very oily skin and normally any moisturiser I use always leaves my skin clogged and oily but I was pleasantly surprised by Neutrogena’s range.

I use this in the morning (pearl size drop) at the end and also apply to my neck and then at night after a mask or wash just a very small amount so I haven’t layered slabs of it on before bed. It smells very neutral and not too medicinal like a normal spot clearing cream.

I feel like my skin looks glowing after using it. I definitely reccomend this if you have oily skin and spots but if you have dry skin that really flakes and dries up maybe aim to use a larger amount more frequently.

I do have to mention that the size isn’t very big so you can’t be very sparing when using it because you’ll find you run out quickly. So I’ve made this my special treatment moisturiser and it’s not my main one therefore I save product.

I have been looking for something for a little while to help clear and keep the spots away on my face. I have tried many different creams and face washes and nothing seemed to work long term. I saw this daily moisturiser and thought well its worth a try.

I can honestly say hand on heart I’d recommend this product to anyone! I applied it for the first time before bed one night and couldn’t beleive it wasn’t heavy on my skin or made my face feel or look oily and greasy.

When i woke the next morning my skin felt so soft and the spots didn’t look as visible. I applied again that morning as it is recommended to apply morning and night. Within 3 days of using this product twice a day my skin was so soft and clear of spots! This will now be my only face moisturiser.

Even 5 minutes after applying this i thought i would try applying my make up for my meal out with friends. No one knew i had the moisturiser on underneath and it acted like a barrier to protect my dkin from my mskr up.

Well worth the money! I 100% recommend!.

I have combination skin and suffer from frequent hormonal breakouts. Many moisturizers I’ve tried in the past have either been too heavy and further clog my pores or too lightweight and leave my skin feeling parched after a short period of time.

This moisturizer provides the perfect balance of being thick enough to effectively hydrate dry areas overnight without being impenetrable so it doesn’t occlude my pores and doesn’t aggravate pimples.

This cream is quick to fully absorb into my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy or sticky. I would describe the finish it leaves as more matte than dewy. There is a subtle fermented scent upon initial application, but it dissipates after a few minutes.

My skin often reacts negatively to new skincare products, but this moisturizer has actually tamed any residual redness on my face from breakouts or harsh acne treatments. I find that three pumps is the ideal amount for my face, neck, and chest.

I’ve been using this day and night, and this moisturizer layers well with makeup and all of my other skincare including sunscreen without causing any pilling.

As a Sephora Community Ambassador, I wanted to share my honest opinion about this product. I think this moisturizer is great! I don’t know why this isn’t talked about more. This didn’t irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin and it’s got great skincare ingredients (bakuchiol, ceramides).

I find one pump does do the job, and I can apply it to my face and neck, it just isn’t as smooth as other moisturizers I have used that also have a thick texture (Belif, Sunday Riley). It lasted about 2.

5 months, which I find to be on par. The downside is the texture + pump. Its texture is pretty thick – not as emollient as I would like. I had A LOT of product left at the bottom, so I suggest getting a little scoop to get it out or turning it upside down once you notice it’s not dispensing as well.

This is not a dealbreaker, but troublesome, makes me wish the product came in a jar vs a pump.

This product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest opinions after using the product consistently for more than a week. That being said, I had high hopes for this product since I have sensitive, acne prone skin.

I also have very dry skin so I love a good moisturizer. In general I think this is a decent moisturizer. I can’t say that it helped my acne at all unfortunately, because my hormonal acne can get kind of bad, which is a bummer.

The one negative I have with this moisturizer is the natural scent. It’s technically fragrance free, but the scent of the product once it sinks into the skin is very strange like a musty/sour scent and it really makes me not want to use it.

If scented skincare doesn’t bother you, and you don’t have bad acne, this would probably be a great fit for you.

I have perioral dermatitis and I’ve been battling it for 3 years now. I have read so many blogs and people speak on so many products that cost so much. I found three things that work great for me and this lotion is one of them.

(all very inexpensive) This lotion does not irritate or make it worse. It actually looks way better than it has in three years!! This lotion is so good and pure. It does not break me out either and I have VERY sensitive skin! Definitely recommend!!.

I debated on trying the Rosehip Facial Cream, and checked out the reviews first. One customer said it helped their perioral dermatitis, and that is a skin problem I deal with too. Finally decided to give it a try, and long story short I love it! It has helped my dry/sensitive skin so much and a little goes a long way! I am currently on my second jar! First-time buyer and user. I can’t stress how much this cream has helped my face get back to normal. I had dehydrated skin and nasty rashes, mainly on my cheeks and neck, but that changed almost after the first time I applied the cream.

This lotion was recommended (by research) as not having any additives especially if you have a lot of sensitivity. I am sensitive to parabens and extremely sensitive to salicylates or salicin. Anyone sensitive to these additives should definitely buy this lotion.

BTW, I have been using this lotion for over twenty years on myself and my grandchildren on the advice of a co-worker even before I realized that I was sensitive to the additives mentioned. I have been using Kiss My Face products for years. I rely on them for natural bath and beauty products that work great. I bought Kiss My Face Honey & Calendula Moisturizer because I had never tried and I really enjoy Kiss My Face products.

I am so glad I decided to buy it. It is reasonably priced for the quality of product you get. I think this is an awesome lotion all around! Scent This has a unique scent to it. It has a light floral hint to it but it also smells very fresh.

I liked the scent. Absorption You have to rub a little while to get this fully absorbed into the skin. However, I definitely think it is worth the extra time and effort. This moisturizer lasts so much longer than many I have tried.

It contains natural oils and ingredients like honey, calendula, coconut, and grape seed oil. I think these are the secret to this lotion’s nourishing and moisturizing power. Effectiveness I usually put this on after my shower and it keeps my skin feeling and looking great all day and night.

It makes my skin feel comfortable, nourished, and hydrated. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. My boys have very dry and sensitive skin and this works great to reduce their dry skin bumps. This is an excellent moisturizer.

A friend gave me a bottle of Kiss My Face Honey & Calendula Moisturizer, because she knows I have really dry, sensitive skin and am always on the lookout for new, natural moisturizers. I haven’t tried many Kiss My Face products, but I like this one — it’s fairly thick, so it stays on once you apply it, and it’s helped relieve the dry, chapped winter skin on my hands and feet.

Scent I normally use unscented moisturizers because perfumes can irritate my skin, but the fragrance in Kiss My Face Honey & Calendula Moisturizer didn’t. I was hoping it would be sweet like honey, but instead it has a more vegetal smell.

It’s not very strong and I don’t mind it, but it’s not my favorite feature either. Absorption Kiss My Face Honey & Calendula Moisturizer is pretty thick, so you have to rub it in a bit to make sure it really penetrates.

I apply it right after my shower, and again after I wash my hands, and that seems to be enough. Effectiveness The skin on my hands and feet is definitely softer after using Kiss My Face Honey & Calendula Moisturizer.

It’s helped smooth my skin and minimize the rough patches, which makes wearing socks and gloves much more comfortable.
