I stopped in at Office Depot looking for a new charging cord for my phone. I found what looked to be the correct cord and asked the clerk to please check to make sure that it was the correct fit. She promptly removed it and confirmed that it was indeed the correct cord.

Also, this cord is much better than the one that came with the phones. Thanks for the great customer service!.

I needed a new charger cord for my hearing aid cleaning box. I went to Staples and was overwhelmed by the number of choices. I picked out one that looked right and went to pay for it. The customer service person was also the person checking out.

I showed here the box. “Oh, that’s not the one you need!” She immediately raced over to the cord display and rushed back with the proper cord. She certainly went above and beyond. P. S. The cord is working beautifully!.

I bought this Belkin USB Micro to USB charge cable on Friday October 7, 2022 for my mother to replace a cell phone charger. Melowy in store helped me match the right one and it fit our existing Belkin USB to wall plug adapter.

Both ends connected firmly, her cell phone buzzed and started to charge immediately and as fast and full as her original charger. Thank you!.

today i needed a usb cable for a project and i grabbed one of these. so as i’m tearing it apart to get to the conductors (the internal wires) i discovered something extremely strange. when i open a usb cable i expect to find 4 conductors and maybe a shield.

in a proper cable i expect the conducters to connect to the USB pins and the shield to connect to the metal connecter. i also expect there to be no bridges. this usb cable is shielded with 3 conducters.

i could easily figure out Data + and – but voltage + and minus are different than normal. so i had to tear down the housing (and as i expected its a rubber housing with a plastic shell) once i got it open i see what was up, it has red which i assume is voltage + (i didnt care to check i wanted to see what made this 3 condictercable work) and the shield is connected to both (i assume) voltage – and the housing.

this setup is obviously a cost saving measure. but its bad for if a surge goes through your house. overall i will NEVER be ordering this cable again. i will also never recommend this product to others.

i will also be checking my other monoprice USB cables for this same issue.

My friend came over so I could upgrade the hard drive in his PS4. This process requires the controller to be plugged in to navigate the safe mode menu. I plugged the end of the cable that goes into the controller, and when I let go it fell out.

I looked at my friend and I said what’s with your cable? He said he lost the original controller cable and he was using a old phone charger for the controller. This cable wasn’t even an OEM phone cable.

It was some cheap aftermarket cable. I recently ordered his friend a charging / sync cable for a WD External Hard Drive which the friend said worked great as well as my friend a Redmere HDMI cable. I told him it would be the best HDMI cable he ever used.

I told him I would order him a new cable for his controller, and I told him like the HDMI cable it would be the best cable he ever had for the controller. I asked him how long of a cable he wanted, and he told me as long as I could get so he could play while the controller was plugged in.

I opted for the 15ft cable which of course was only a few dollars. The cable arrived, and of course he’s very happy with it. It fits the controller nice and snug, and most importantly it doesn’t fall out for no reason.

In conclusion once again you just can’t beat a cable from Monoprice. You can’t beat their quality. You can’t be their warranty, and you can’t beat their customer service. PROS: Price Quality Warranty CONS: What?.

I ordered this for my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5). There was another option that was a little cheaper, but the shipping would have made it outrageous, so I was happy to come across this. It arrived a bit early, which is always good.

When I first received it, I was a bit put off because it’s much thicker than I anticipated. After all, I bought it for my phone, but it is a heavy, thick CORD. And that’s actually a good thing, because the cord is MUCH stronger than my other charge cords.

It is horrible. Ghosting on the screen. Slow times from keyboard to monitor. It’s going back as soon as the replacement arrives.

They work fine with my Western Digital Passport USB 3. 0 portable hard drive to my MacBook Pro Retina. You can’t beat the price. they come in a zip-locked plastic bag rolled up neatly. 6ft is a good length.

You’d be surprised when you think 3ft would be good enough but at this price it’s good to get 6ft. I got it because the hard drives can be inherently noisy. this keeps them farther away and under the desk so I can’t ehear them.

I also use it with a USB hub.

This cable is a beast! It is super heavy duty, doesn’t kink, and can be bent into a variety of shapes. Holds its position as well, once you get it to the shape you want. It can even be used as a stand to hold up a phone (for phones with a charging jack on the bottom).

Currently used in a hostile environment, with 3 rabbits with very large teeth. They chewed through about a half-dozen Micro USB cables already and that was enough. Did some research and found the video with the chainsaw: instant sale! The rabbits have tried very hard to chew through, but they don’t even leave a scratch.

The best they can do is push it around and sometimes unplug it (due to its heavy weight). Recommended for anyone who needs a chew proof cable, or a cable that will not break – ever.

Pros: I suppose the cable *is* armoured and therefore will not wear out so easily, which is what I wanted. Cons: 1. The cable doesn’t currently work (no power flows through it)2. The cable is so stiff that it puts a strain on my phone’s charging socket every time I move the phone or cable.

I think it will soon cause some very expensive damage. Moving phone or cable needs both hands to prevent straining the socket,very inconvenient. Will have to return this product.

USB cables are notorious for breaking, fraying etc and manufacturers have relied on their built-in obsolescence so you end up having to replace them. Fuse Chicken has fixed this by making cables that are built to last.

I have already purchased one of smaller cables and seeing the quality I couldn’t pass up the chance to grab another.

These startech angled cables are the best solution for high-high-use charging. No question. If you have a device that is always being charged because its always being used while its charging this style of cable lasts the longest.

Normal straight-out USB cables the always deteriorate so fast because the heat during charging plus being bent/moved while the device is being used during charging. So it doesnt take very long before a straight-out USB cables frays and falls apart and you have to replace it.

These cables really “click” in to the device as well, and the end doesnt bend around and move alot, so you dont have the cable just falling out of the charger because it got worn down and could grip inside the charge port anymore to stay inside.

Works beautifully with both my Home Essentials Direct Kindle’s!! I like the the way the wire comes out of the plug at a right angle verses straight down because over time the cord that came straight down eventually wires in cord broke from bending when I’d stand the kindle upright to watch movies from bending the cord.

This new right angle bend in this cord doesn’t get bent when I stand the kindle to watch because it rests on the part already bent at a right angle now eliminating that problem. The price for this length cord was so inexpensive I bought two and it was still a fraction of what some single cords cost.

The quality of this cord was excellent!! I’d highly recommend this cord for Cost, quality, and better design for eliminating the problem of breaking the cord from bending when you sit the kindle upright position to watch in landscape position.

I bought this cable for charging my Barnes & Noble Nook. The cable works perfectly and the extra length lets me read while charging. Overall, it’s just plain perfect.

It is very sturdy. It looks nice. It came quickly.

This cable and it’s associated cables in various lengths are absolute junk. I bought the 3M cable to wire up my Xbox one control to the pc for gaming and a week later the pins which hold the micro adaptor in place fell in to the device.

I replace it with the 2M version listed here and less than 12 hours later the same thing happens again. The cable is far too rigid and far too heavy to use for gaming controllers and any device you wish to use whilst it’s connected.

I do not recommend buying this product.

Great product, but a bit difficult to find it in-store. Im really happy about this purchase, the cable is long enough sturdy and durable. Purchased one almost a year ago and since then i was trying to find another one.

Only able to find it online after unsuccessful visits to the store.

I have had 3 of these Cygnett cables and not one of them has lasted for more than a couple of months. The cable itself is great, but the cable is only as good as it’s weakest point and the actual micro-USB plug is incredibly weak.

They bend and break very quickly. I have seen $2 cables last 10x as long. I cannot emphasise enough not to buy this product, you will regret it.
