I bought these socks for my husband and he loves them. They are made of high-quality material, are very soft, and comfortable to wear. The thickness of the socks is perfect, not too thin, not too thick.

I think new socks are one of the most wonderful things a person can experience. These were no exception. Well made and very comfortable. Its like they hug your feet all day!

I frequently buy these socks, but this is the first time I ordered directly from the brand. They are a much-requested Christmas present item so I buy them for all the men in the family at least once a year.

They are comfortable and fit as expected. The length is right where ankle socks are supposed to be and they stay in place. My dad wears socks with flip flops so that puts extra strain on the big toe so he always wears a hole in that sock and that is why they get replaced frequently.

The quality is as expected, though socks can always benefit from reinforced toes.

The key to foot comfort is understanding the different types of socks and their uses / purposes. Cotton is comfortable but holds moisture and “swells”. Wool and synthetic fabrics do not hold moisture.

Many years ago, as a young troop, I learned how to keep my feet dry by “wicking” the sweat away. I would use the GI foot powder, then put on a pair of Army nylon dress socks, then a pair of Army wool socks, and then (sometimes) a pair of cotton socks.

After marching and running all day in the Ft Benning summer heat and humidity, my feet were still dry and comfortable with no blisters. Today, you can buy premium multi fiber “wicking” boot socks for work, hiking, etc.

Match your socks to your needs / activities. No sock is best for every occasion. I bought these socks specifically to wear, usually at home in the evening, after my feet are slathered up with medicine, and I am not active.

They contain no cotton which would soak up the medicine.

I bought these for my elderly father living with my mother in another state in an assisted living facility where their socks and clothes are continually stolen from them. My father is a small man about 169lbs and his foot is about a size 8.

He has Parkinson’s, trouble using his hands. I purchased these socks which were label d a size 6-12. My mother told me the socks were so tight on him he could only get his left sock on and barely could pull it on because of how tight is was.

My elderly mom had to put his right sock on and she too could barely pull it up and on. I’m not real happy about that as I live in another state and during this time I can’t easily get the socks back and return them.

I know they didn’t cost that much but they should at least fit the size advertised. Now I have to find and send him some other socks. My mom said she felt bad because my dad was happy to have some socks again and he struggled to put them on which was very sad for my mom to watch.

I wish they would have fit as advertised.

I bought these a couple weeks ago after being given a free pair at a store I tried shoes on at. I LOVED the pair I was given/so soft & comfortable. So I looked the sock up online to purchase. Was very disappointed when socks arrived.

In picture (And free pair. ) there is consistent cushion thru out sock. the pair I was shipped has a very thin band of material over dorsal of foot-and then thicker cushion elsewhere, which will cause friction on top of foot in shoes for me.

Very unhappy, I will be returning them.

I am a female with a big foot (size 11) and these are for myself for gym shoe wearing. I do like their comfort and size. I have noticed noticed after a couple weeks that one pair has already started losing elasticity at the opening and it drives me crazy when they slip down to my heel.

I’ve been more careful with them and time will determine if these are a great value.

My son has sensory issues, and as a result he is picky about his clothes. He loves these socks because they are super soft and easy to get on and off. Other brands are too narrow at the heel and ankle so he has trouble getting them on.

I was so happy to find these in his size – 13 to 16. They even arrived super fast in the mail. I highly recommend using Shoe Mall, and I highly recommend these socks.

I mainly look for a no-show sock that won’t slip when I walk. These work well in some of my workout shoes but not others. They still are looser around the neck of the sock than you would expect since it is a small opening.

In one pair of shoes, they pull down at the heel and in others they stay on just fine. Great quality material nonetheless.

I have purchased lots of Adidas super no-show-socks over the years. They have great stretch, and are my preferred sock when wearing runners and walking lots. They stay up and don’t fall down in the shoe which is a huge pet peeve.

Will continue to buy these over the years, they are great!.

I bought these liners to replace some Nike no-show liners that are starting to become thread bare. So far, they’ve stayed in place. Once I do a heavier workout, I’ll see if they remain comfortable & lightweight.

I’m worried that the compression feature may make my feet too sweaty.

Got these for my 13 year old son. He likes them a lot! Good color choices. They are durable and soft. He likes them with tennis shoes or to wear around the house. The soles are very cushioned for comfort.

Bombas are my favorite socks. I was gifted some after I had showed interest in them and I have been obsessed ever since. It’s been probably 7 years now at least since I was gifted a pair and I still have them and wear them regularly once a week.

They have no holes or seams ripping apart. They are not thinning either. So durable and comfortable. Yes, they are pricey, but clearly it’s because they are meant to last unlike most socks on the market.

In my opinion, they are worth the money. Either buy these and they last you as long as they’ve lasted me or spend the same amount of money replacing your current cheaper socks once a year or so. No brainer for me.

I will continue to buy Bombas.

These socks are truly no show. They have a nice amount of cushion on the bottom, which is hard to find with no show socks. They also have rubber grippy material on the back so the socks will stay put over your lower heel.

This socks are a bit pricey but they are worth it to me. They are very good quality. I recommend them!.

I got these in maroon and while I love how soft and durable they are, I really should have bought the larger size. The material stretches and I can see my toes through it. That being said, they are excellent socks, and I will definitely be buying more, just in a larger size! I really appreciate the jewel tone color options.

I love the white dry fit socks. I like how they have higher cotton content so they are less sweaty. This time I also bought some grey ones thinking they will have the same fabric. But the grey ones only had 50% cotton and much more polyester.

Reading their fabric content claims on the website, it seems they don’t even know what fabric you will get? They give a rough range and say see the label on the product when you get it. So everytime you buy the socks you are getting different fabric? This does not speak quality to me.

I’ve been buying these exact socks for 25 years, 10 packs a year, that’s how well they used to be made. But the quality, & the craftsmanship has gone down hill, along with the percentage of cotton that they used to have.

For years these were 83% real cotton, and now they’re 74% processed cotton, along with some cheaper materials which is why they don’t last. They’ve cheapened and ruined what used to be the best socks on the market.

I just bought my usual 10 packs, and immediately noticed the difference. I had to return the entire order. Nike: please reconsider the changes you’ve made. and bring back the quality of socks that these once were.

Purchased these socks for everyday casual to athletic exercise use. The socks fit very well and are extremely comfortable. You can tell the quality in these socks will last a long time with proper care.

I am very pleased with these No-Show socks. Although they are not too thick making your shoes too tight, they are still a little cushy.

These socks are a bit pricey compared to others. They really are compression and keep my feet/ankles from swelling on my spin bike rides. The color is deep ocean/hawaii blue, great, vivid, and look like a colorful addition to my wardrobe.

There are other colors I want to order but are out of stock right now. The socks are made in Germany, and of great quality, and should last for many bike rides.

These suckers hug your feet. I was running more and more and some colder weather short socks were sliding around the shoe – too much material – too thick. So i did a bunch of web research on different brands.

and I wanted a “short” sock; not crew, not tall, not no show or low. Kind of a mid length. Good in summer or winter here in Portland, Oregon. Bought one pair to try them out – ended up buying three more.

They were on sales which promoted me to try the first. It’s a good deal – and I wanted a sock that has a separate Left and Right side. It makes zero sense these days if you’re active in your excersise to not have articulated socks for each foot.

20 years as a dancer, 15 years as a massage therapist, and a life long love of physical activity have caught up with me. My feet absolutely HATE me. I have what can only be described as chronic, moderate level plantar fasciitis.

But these socks are the only thing that allow me to not choose between work and working out. Days I wear these socks, my feet don’t feel exhausted and fatigued until the very end of my workday. Fit is great, works well with every athletic shoe I own, and appear to be incredibly durable.

Plus, the customer service when there was a complication with my order was beyond pleasant, helpful, and immediate.

I bought two pairs of the Quarter Midweight Hiking Socks. I purchased these assuming they fell into the category of “buy it for life” type items. Obviously no sock truly is, but from reading other reviews (many of which are rave ones) and knowing the brand has a strong following, I was very confident is spending a premium for these socks.

Unfortunately they really fell short of my expectations. One pair had multiple small holes within the first couple of months. The other pair, while no holes appeared, has worn quicker than expected. To be fair, I have rather large feet – size 12W – and am fairly active, but still thought the quality was lacking for the price paid.

I would caution those with wide feet that these socks fit extremely snug to the point of discomfort when first putting them on. That discomfort subsides after a walking in them for a bit, but still is not ideal.

I wish I had a better experience like so many have, but the socks I received did not meet the high standards I believed Darn Tough represented.

Gonna try to add a little truth to my adoration here. I love all my Darn tough socks. I have a whole family of them now, everything from old, worn, shabby ones to the newest batch. I only sent one pair back and I didn’t follow the correct procedure so I haven’t yet cashed in on the lifetime guarantee.

But no matter. My life wouldn’t be the same without my DTs. Every once in awhile I end up resorting to a pair of something else from the back of the drawer with holes in the bottoms. Ugh. Desperation.

Despair. That said, I want to add a couple of caveats. Sizing and Gender. I’d like to see more options for a truly perfect fit. They’re fine for me, mostly. But I have serious bunions so I order large women’s sizes and sometimes wonder if mens small or medium would be better.

BUT men’s don’t have anywhere near the range of colors and designs. There’s a Gender quandary for you to wrestle with. And it goes to your question of which gender do I choose. I said “other” but really I’d prefer to answer “neither” and/or “both”.

Part of the problem I have with rating systems like yours (and most) is getting boxed in, not being able to say what’s really true. Back to sizing. These and the other DT socks I have, all of them, are too tight.

Some are just a tiny bit too tight and a few are almost too tight to be good. But hey, like family, I love them anyway. So I can’t truly say any of them are perfect. Since I order a size bigger than what you recommend, they are too long.

I encourage you to add that as a review option under “how do they fit?” I’m having a hard time imagining that anyone would say they are “too wide”. Aside from the bunions, I have pretty skinny feet and ankles.

They work great for me but I have friends who I can’t recommend them to because they would definitely be too tight. I’d like the option of a wider size without having to get them too long. As far as “Comfy” goes, I love having cushion in the bottoms and wonder if there would be enough other people that would welcome cushion on the front sides, ie.

Bunion cushion, to consider that. And where do I wear them? You might want to add the option of saying where “Other” is – to bed on cold winter nights, all over the house with my slippers, walking, driving, after swimming in a cold VT swimming hole, to Quaker Meeting where we take our shoes off and wiggle our Darn Tough toes to show off our favorite pairs.

There, I think I’ve said all the fussy stuff I can think of. Thanks for your wonderful socks. I really do love them all.

I really love the way these socks fit (no show tab ultra-lightweight). I normally buy the female socks, but also have bought the mens because I like the color (darker mixed blues). My shoe size is female 7.

5. The women’s size small is on the snug side for me, but still ok. I prefer women’s size medium for a little extra stretch. I also wear the mens small(for colors not available in women’s), however, it’s a touch longer than my foot.

Although mens’ is a tad long on me, the stretch of the sock helps pull to conform to my foot, and makes it not noticeable in my day to day wear. I like that these socks wick moisture. It’s difficult wearing other socks I own made of other materials after wearing these- no comparison on keeping my feet dry.

This company provides quality! Love the cushioned tab top- it prevents my shoe rubbing me. I machine wash on a “wool” setting, and hang dry. I will continue buying this product probably until this is all I have in my sock drawer.

My wife finds it difficult to find an appropriate size in the ladies range. This one fits her perfectly. Not only that the socks are thin and warm.

I like the idea of the foot part of the socks being slightly thinner than the chunky ribbing on the leg part, as you get extra warmth whilst still being able to wear your normal footwear. If you choose to wear these pulled up rather than folded over or wrinkled, they are slightly longer than average for ankle socks, so are useful for wearing with cropped trousers.

They appear to wash well. I bought them in nutmeg, which is a good neutral pale brown.

These socks achieve the twin goals of being a good fit that doesn’t squeeze your toes or slip down under your heel while the soft grip on your leg is very comfortable and doesn’t leave a mark behind.

Perfect for the cooler weather that has begun. Worth every penny.

I was a little skeptical at first with all of the positive reviews. But now I totally understand. I had terrible problems with my feet being incredibly smelly and hot all the time before I got these socks.

Now I can go a whole day of whatever activity I am doing and my feet smell as fresh as getting out of the shower. I wear these socks as a daily sock which includes biking to work and to the gym afterwards, sun up to sun down.

I was between sizes when purchasing and after contacting the helpful Vermont staff they advise me to maybe go a size up. That was definitely the right move. I would say the only complaint that I have, if I had to say something, would be that way the sock feels right when you put it on feels a little tight around the base of the toes but after wearing them for an hour or so they loosen up nicely.

I will be slowly replacing every sock that I have in my wardrobe with these.

Overall nice socks but materials use nowadays are not high in quality as before. Socks use to last even after many washes. Now after a few washes holes start to appear by the toes area or heal. In order to protect your feet socks must be worn so there is no choice.

At least these socks look good.

You go into the store and see a 6 pack bundle of socks. One would think with the Nike swoosh this product would be great. The real win is the 3 pack of socks with the extra cushioned heel and toe. Same no-show sock but with this extra comfort and durability of this sock, it will outlast the last bundle by a mile.

Bought 6 total pairs in short order, but they just do not last. Three left socks have got a whole in them, so it’s not like I can even mix and match the pairs. So I’ll need some new socks, but I won’t be getting these again.

They should more clearly describe that you get half black socks and half black/grey socks. I now have to return them as I only want black socks. Great socks if they came in just black.

I was due for a reset on my sock collection. The Adidas Superlite, looked the part and were at a good price point when compared to other major brands. They are quite thin, which is mostly a personal preference.

They are comfortable and hold up well with repeat use. They did shrink a bit after first wash and dry. The second pack I bought; I air dried and avoided the shrinkage. No show, sleek, and fashionable.

These feet socks work perfectly. Nice elastic to keep them on. No show means no one knows I’m wearing them! Looking forward to adding matching no show hand socks to get rid of my arm ankle tan lines.

Best footies I’ve purchased! Happened to stumble upon these by chance a few years ago and kept meaning to purchase a couple more pairs. Glad I finally bought two more pair from Sockgeek. com! These footies are soft, have the right amount of cushion without making your shoes tight, do not have an irritating toe seam, and they stay put.

As mentioned above, the stitching on the top of the toe of one sock split all the way through just a year after purchasing. These are very comfortable socks but I’m weary about buying them again. The “blister resistant” ones that I bought at the same time are still holding up, as well as pairs of darn tough and smart wool that I’ve had for over 3 years.

I mentioned the issue to customer service (mainly just to make them aware of this seemingly manufacturing defect) and they called it “wear and tear”, and (understandably) didn’t do anything as the socks were a couple months past their warranty.

Again, these socks are very comfortable and hopefully the other pair lasts longer!.

EPIC SOCK!!!! The BEST brand sock brand ever! I run in the Hidden Comfort and LOVE them! I am 60 years old I run 3 1/2 to 4 miles five times a week 5 foot 430 pounds. When my pool is open I’ll swim three times a week as well so I’m really active.

I’m really picky about my workout gear… I happen to long this brand of sock and absolutely fell in love with them! My left foot sometimes has slight plantar fascia symptoms but with this sock there is zero! The hidden comfort cushioning just adds to the cushioning of my Brooks adrenaline shoes.

Used for workout/running/hiking/casual. I use these socks for daily running miles and gym work. Once they are a half worn worn eg from not being foot specific you lose that wedge shape of the toes and the big toe creates two high points-happens all socks.

So once these are worn in a bit with the extra material around the little toe (takes a long time!) they get used casually or hiking. For best days in super shoes, buy L / R specific socks. For everything else you get a ton of use out of these, then another ton of use when a little worn.

No holes, good sweat wicking. All round good performance and longevity. Best results without tumble-drying but okay to do so (minor fade). Never had a hole. Never fallen down or bunched in the shoe. All in all, great value.

The socks are comfy but do not hold there structure very well as the day goes on, becomes looser and a more relaxed fit and you may find yourself pulling them up. I have had Nike sports/running socks and do not expect the same feel but expected a lot better.

I do have Adidas socks in the same price range and they are defiantly better quality, a lot more supportive and fitted around the middle of the foot. Unfortunately it seems as if you are just paying for the tick logo, I will only be wearing Adidas socks from now on.

I have bought JD socks & clothes since my boy was into sports stuff (about 7 years old) he’s now 18 & I still buy his socks from JD. Yep, I’m still buying his socks because darn, it’s hard enough already trying to get ahead in life for youngsters without worrying about buying socks.

His wages go on his car insurance/fuel to get to work £££ 😡 love JD! Quality clothing & our Bognor Regis branch have the nicest staff ever!! He’s worn nothing but JD socks his whole life & will continue to do so (even when mum isn’t buying them!) 🤩.

I purchased a few socks from Stance and was extremely disappointed with the no show pair I bought. I really like the crew night but these feel way too small and I went up a size. Since Stance does not allow for returns on opened items, these will go Into the trash.

They are very snug, don’t stay in at the ankle and feel about two sizes smaller than they are. Other socks – highly recommend, no shows not all all. As you can see from the attached photo, the stance on the far right size are much smaller than the other two socks.

They are a size XL and are significantly smaller than a pair of other brand XL and even much smaller than a one size fits all brand. They do not stretch much and feel way small. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Santa put these in my husband’s Stance stocking. As a kid he would say he always got socks and underwear for Christmas. That’s a tradition I still want to carry on. My husband is very particular about no-show socks.

He can’t stand when it claims to be no-show but they still show above his Vans. He also doesn’t like when they slink down and under his heel. He doesn’t want to readjust his socks throughout the day.

These Gamut 2 socks are making him extremely happy. He likes the texture and how they hug his feet without showing above his shoes. Hopefully they hold their shape. Time will only tell if they start to become “wonky” and slip off his heel.

Listen – I bought a pair of these a few years ago on a whim, likely just because I didn’t pack socks on a trip and needed a pair. Well let me tell you these literally became my favorite pair of socks and I wore them nonstop until I lost one.

Then I was forced to wear the one with a random partner, so at least one foot was always well taken care of. ANYWAY I didn’t know the brand name and I was so sad cuz all I wanted was another pair of these *dreamy* foot hats so finally one day I googled “no show socks” and what shows up on the Googles? These guys! Yahtzee.

I ordered 6 pairs, threw the other stupid socks I had thrown together in my lifetime and now I am so well put together it’s not even fair. Big fan.

Best feeling soft fabric on skin, easy to pull on, so many color options, and the pattern looks really athletic & chic (not medical or old granny look — like Thelma Harper on ‘Mama’s Family’!) I ordered up a size, anticipating the all-too-common skimping on fabric (cutting corners to reduce materials/operating costs to increase profit margin) — this problem is seen across almost all brands, worst recent example is Jobst new “SoftFit” under-knee band (supposed to be less constricting), but only works if you can get the [microscopic] ankle portion onto your leg! oy!! So, while I have had to go up 2 sizes (+ FullCalf) beyond mg actual measurements in the Jobst “SoftFit” (they seem promising if proper fit), in these CEP by MediUSA (German company — pioneering medical treatments) I am going down to the true size my exact measurements! This CEP line is awesome! Ordering other CEP items right now — calf sleeve, to don more easily than regular footed stocking, will pair w/ ExoAnklet by L&R (Dutch company, I believe) — excellent design, feels even tighter than stated compression level, but does run small! My measurements correspond w/ medium, but I get plenty of compression from XL and even XXL, which you may prefer to avoid ankle constriction.

Tip – for easier donning over bare foot and/or donning on top of larger/looser stocking (w/o it bunching/wrinkling underneath): I snip a tiny opening into toe edge to allow the use of an assistive “slippy” — (Sigvaris** slippy best – made of silk, sleek/slim, toe-pull is narrow and long enough to yank thru a tiny slit.

Btw, if you have accumulated several slippies from various brands, Sigvaris’s slippy is “dark blue” & looks like a Turkish slipper, or something you might see on a genie or wear on a magic carpet ride!!) So, I snip a tiny vertical/perpendicular slit in the toe area of the typical ClosedToe stox, and for ExoAnklet I snipped open entire toe edge horizontally/parallel to seam where toe section meets foot section.

Toe area is a completely different section, not continuous weave, so did not interfere with tightness of foot section — never attempt this on a stocking with same pattern of material (same loops) continuing from foot into toe, otherwise you risk weakening/loosening the foot –> insufficient compression on foot –> edema will reflux downward into front of foot! Bad!! Remember, you really only need enough space to yank out the toe-pull of the slippy, so a tiny slit will do.

Bear in mind, the slit will be double as long as it first appears as you’re cutting, because the toe area at end of stocking will get snipped on both top and bottom, even though all you see is the top.

So, snip less than you think you will need. Then, check it — it’s probably more than enough to permit donning w/ the slippy! **Sigvaris brand (from Scandinavia) also runs very True to Size, like this CEP line by Medi-USA.

I fit nicely into “medium” in both Sigvaris and CEP, whereas I need XLFC (XL + FullCalf) in Jobst “SoftFit”, and XL or XXL in L&R ExoAnklet (Lohmann & Rauscher)! I thought it would be helpful to share this with fellow compression-wearers since trial & error can be physically strenuous in addition to financially challenging in cases where unsealed items cannot be returned, and even when returns accepted for exchange to better size, for patients like me with chronic pain, just the hassle of packing and mailing a box can be arduous and a disincentive to bothering to do a return at all, so I often end up wasting money and with useless ill-fitting compression garments! But, I cannot do w/o plenty of compression 24/7 because I suffer from severe “generalized edema” (anasarca) in addition to “venous edema” from chronic venous insufficiency.

Bought these for trail jogging and they do not disappoint. My feet are so comfortable during and after my hikes/jogs and I just noticed why they are. As another reviewer mentioned, there is extra padding around the big toe joint, heel, and along the plantar fascia areas.

Since I have been wearing CEP socks, I have avoided stress injuries and strains during my workouts–which used to happen with other brand socks. I used to wear a double sock (from another manufacturer), which served me well UNTIL I discovered the CEP compression socks.

Now there is no going back! P. S. I bought a pair of the hot pink socks to give me more energy–not sure if they do, but they sure do make me smile!.

Love this brand. I know they can be pricey but the price is worth the support. I am a nurse and on my feet for 12 plus hours sometimes. I have been in the medical field for the past 10 years and have tried sock brands from amazon and medical nurse stores.

None of them have given me the type of support or relief like the CEP do. When I wear these I feel the difference. I am able to stand on my feet all day, and have never felt that the compression was to tight.

The size 2 is perfect compression for my smaller calf size. Thankfully I was able to get fitted through a running store that I happen come by when looking for some better support. I I am 5’5″ with a thin/lean build and weigh about 115 incase anyone is looking to see what size may fit them.

I have even compared wearing my regular socks to these and there is a BIG difference. When not wearing them I feel pain and discomfort, while having to sit more. I do have varicose veins so I know those can be a factor to my already discomfort.

I only hope that this brand could give nurses discounts in the future, because I would love to try more styles, seeing as I am using these now on a regular basis. Thanks CEP!.
