Is this a joke? Why are the reviews so good? My son is merely 85 pounds, I am 120. We both took a turn laying on this mattress. The MOMENT of laying on this mattress, the body sinks to the actual floor.

How in the world are people saying this mattress is firm and the best sleep they’ve gotten? Not at all!! This would work as a good puffy mattress topper For someone who wants that sort of feeling However for us It puts pins and needles throughout the whole body in the matter of a moment.

I personally have a chime Ashley and it’s amazing! I’m definitely giving in and getting my kids those instead of this piece of junk.

First, I am not paid to write this review and did not receive this mattress free. I bought this to use temporarily in my dad’s room while he recovers. It did have a slight smell when opened. It does open up quickly and since I was sleeping on the floor I didn’t wait the required 48 hours.

There is a lining around the mattress and I unzipped it in order to spray the mattress with Lysol. When closing up the lining, the zipper holder came right off. Bummer. I now have no way of opening it up again in order to wash the liner, if required, so that’s why I only gave it a 4.

I went with the 6″ because of the weight and I’m using it directly on the floor. For my purpose, it works. I’m happy with it.

Twin only measures 72x37x9. 5 not even the standards size of twin descriptions it says it is 75x39x10 an yes I waited I don’t mind not being exactly 10 inches high. BUT not covering the frame completely is NOT okay nor what I should expect when is clearly says other wise.

I bought for toddlers room to get use to transitioning out of crib but i can’t have a mattress that doesn’t even cover the frame which is the suggested slate style steel frame for memory foam beds. It is soft and will sink if sat on but lay and distribute your weight it’s decently firm medium not as firm as what a 6 or 8 inch memory foam would tend to be.

But not worth the anticipation and waiting to find it doesn’t even fit.

Do not buy! Beware this mattress has fiberglass. I purchased for my 3 yr old. It took a week for the chemical smell to settle enough to be able to sleep on the mattress for starters. The first, and Only (not even full) night I slept with my son I started coughing and could feel sharp fibers in my throat.

It was so bad that it woke me from my sleep. I immediately picked up my baby boy and took him to my bed and never slept him or anyone on that mattress. I forgot to mention that both my son and I, were a little itchy before falling asleep, but didn’t think anything of it.

Could have been the fiberglass or bed bugs? On Amazon there have been soo many reviews stating that the warehouse has a bedbug infestation. If you check out the reviews you can see pictures of the mattresses being sealed with bed bugs inside.

Another important issue to note: The mattress never fully expanded fully and the edges are easy roll offs. Please protect your lungs and integumentary system and Do NOT purchase this mattress.

I like this mattress. It inflated the way it was supposed to and it is comfy. I would say it feels more like a spring bed than a memory foam bed but the 10 inch memory foam layer evens out the springs.

Although, the full size bed feels a bit too small in size. I am 5’3 and I have to place a pillow at the very top of the mattress because if I place it any lower, my body isn’t on the mattress and my feet are dangling off the mattress.

Moving from side to side also feels restricting. I don’t move when I sleep but I can see where this would be a problem for those who do. Overall it’s a good mattress at a decent price providing a quick fix.

Probably not your forever mattress though.

Our king size mattress was decrepit and needed to be replaced but I couldn’t carry a king up the stairs by myself and didn’t want delivery guys in the house breathing on us (COVID is real). The solution: two twin XL mattresses (2 twin XL = 1 king).

We bought them on Black Friday (SO reasonable) and had to leave them in the box for several weeks because we got COVID and were too weak to drag the boxes upstairs. The FedEx guy brought them up into the porch in boxes about 1 foot square and as long as the mattress is wide.

I don’t know how they’d have shipped a king size. We opened them up finally on New Year’s Day. They unrolled and inflated just fine, and by the time I got the mattress protectors on, got them strapped together, and got the bedding on them they were ready to sleep on.

The description says they’re medium firmness and I would agree. The springs are resilient enough to hold up my wide butt and the foam supports the curvy bits. I’m a side sleeper and the wife is a back sleeper and we’re both very comfortable.

Couldn’t be happier with our purchase. One note: my grandma taught me to flip my mattress and swap end-for-end every once in a while to keep it fresher and wear out slower. You can’t flip this mattress because the foam is on one side only.

Sorry grandma. For the deal we got on them and how comfortable they are, I don’t mind.

most uncomfortable mattress i have EVER slept on. i downsized from a king to a twin becauae my other mattress was old and took up too much space in my bedroom. I thought this wouls be comfortable. WRONG! its as hard as concrete and thats even AFTER I put my 3 inch memory foam on it.

no longer have a viable king size to go back to, now im stick with this hunk of junk. im in so much discomfort from sleeping on this crappy thing. my couch/futon isnt a whole lot better but at this point im thinking ANYTHING has to be better thean this.

Bought this mattress nearly 2 years ago and it was comfortable at first. one, it’s a single sided mattress which can’t be rotated, but my biggest complaint is you can feel every spring in your hips, shoulders, knees and back making sleeping very painful.

wake up multiple times moaning in pain. only get a few hours sleep a night. would not recommend a hybrid foam and spring mattress to anyone especially this one.

This mattress is very comfortable.. My daughter bought it for her bunk bed. It requires 48 hours to fully reach it’s size as it comes rolled up tight in plastic. No box springs required.

I slept on this 8 inch ikea mattress with a overly plush topper which I inherited from my college years. It never crossed my mind to maybe invest in a higher quality mattress, but I thought I could get away with all the cheap furniture I used as a student once I graduated.

However, I really didn’t want to spend too much time researching other brands or going to a MattressFirm to test other mattresses. The only reason I went with the Casper mattress was because 1. I physically laid in it as a test and 2.

I liked it, a lot. So I owned and slept on my new mattress for a month now, and my perspective on life has completely changed. It did not solve my ridiculous workload at my job, I still forget to make my bed in the morning, and I think my love for junk food has actually grown, but my overall mood and energy levels have seen dramatic improvements and im partying harder and ever before on the weekends.

TGIF actually means doing something fun instead of feeling the need to “recharge” after a long week. The mattress did not fix my bad habits, but I can honestly say it changed my life. Don’t take your current sleep situation for granted, INVEST IN IT.

I’ll admit that the unboxing was very satisfying and impressive—I have never had a boxed mattress and it was cool to watch. That being said, here’s where the problems start. My sister has a Casper mattress that she LOVES which is what really sold me to try this mattress.

I was less nervous due to the 100 day trial. My mom got this for me as a Christmas gift of which she purchased on Black Friday so there was som gap with when it was delivered and when I actually started sleeping on it.

First nights impression left LOTS to be desired. We were coming from a very soft memory foam topper prior to this and it was a big shock. This mattress is VERY firm. VERY. I do realize there is an adjustment period so we both tried to stick it out.

Now, at no point did either of us love the bed. But it did get better about two months in. Then, I started to get awful and at times debilitating pain in my hips. I could think of absolutely nothing that had changed except this mattress, especially since the pain was worse in the morning and got better as the day went.

We knew we were approaching the return date and went back and forth between trying a mattress topper or scrapping it altogether. We really did not want to return it for the hassle alone and really tried to make it work.

We ultimately made the decision that we should LOVE our mattress and shouldn’t have to compensate with a topper on such an expensive bed and wanted to be done with it. We contacted Casper to initiate a return, who informed us that the warranty started the day it was delivered, regardless of the fact that it sat in my moms living room for weeks waiting to be given to me as a gift, and had not been slept on for 100 days.

I do understand that they are under no obligation to help me, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth ESPECIALLY when we had both been so severely unhappy with it the entire time we had been sleeping on it, and were outside the return window by only 8 days.

I cannot find any reason to recommend this mattress. Please don’t be fooled by the glowing reviews collected by promotions you see on the website, research real reviews from third parities and read the bad reviews too.

I wholeheartedly wish I had gone to a brick and mortar mattress store and done some more research before deciding on Casper. Now we are stuck with an EXPENSIVE mattress that we hate, and now begin the process of topper shopping so we can hopefully finally get a comfortable nights sleep.

Sooooo this is a long review with some information that I wish I had when I started looking for a new mattress. First off it is ultimately a very personal decision, you have to find what works best for you based on the feel you like and your body needs and preferences.

That said, I’ve been considering getting a Casper mattress ever since they opened their first Casper store location in Canada. I only wish that I had gone all in on one when I first heard about them.

It may have saved me a lot of pain and sleepless nights. Initially when I first tried them, I really wanted the Wave but my budget at that time did not warrant the cost. Now, years later my sleep preferences have changed and I have tried A LOT of mattresses in that time frame, most of them on the firmer side for added support.

But I was not in love with any of them. Finally, I came back to Casper to see if their mattress really lived up to all of the hype. I went to a few different locations as I wanted to try all of them in person and the Original Hybrid is only at a few select spots.

After trying all of the foam and hybrid styles multiple times in the showroom; the Original, Wave and Nova Hybrids, these are my findings: (Based on my past mattress experiences I am very weary about purchasing a mattress without first trying it) The Nova was super soft yet comfortable I just didn’t like how far I sunk in.

The Wave was on the firmer side and maybe the newer versions have changed slightly since the one I feel in love with years ago. In any case you could feel the support and many pressure relieving layers, it would certainly help with any chronic pain or issues with pressure points.

The Original Foam is great, firm with a slight softness on top, it was similar to many I have had in the past. However, I quickly realized that the Original Hybrid was the feel I have been searching for.

The moment my body hit the surface I fell in love with it. It is soft yet supportive. It is much softer than any I have had before but I was searching for that “fall in love with sleep again” feeling and the cozy comfort of a cloud-like feeling when I am in bed.

Which is why I’d say it is more medium on the softness scale with the Nova being more plush with greater sink-in. Upon opening the box on the first day of its arrival I was actually excited to go to sleep that night.

It was the same soft feel as in the showroom, no added firmness to break in or get used to. Though there was a strong off-gasing smell that got much stronger as I let it reach it’s full capacity for a few hours after un-boxing.

I opened the windows for two days to help air out the space from the smell. This is the only thing that I am weary of, the off-gasing and how long it will stick around and affect my health even after I no longer notice a smell.

For this reason alone I gave it 4-stars. Ultimately, I am very happy with my purchase. I did have to get a lower loft pillow to use on this bed because it is so soft and I didn’t need the same height or support as I would on a firm mattress.

Plus, I was informed that with Casper mattresses the springs make their mattresses softer, wherein some other brands it does the opposite. I am really glad I went out of my way to try the Casper Original Hybrid or I would have been mislead in thinking the added springs would make it firmer than the all foam Original version.

Even with the extra softness of the springs, Casper reps did assure me that it will hold up over time and still provide enough support. If you have read this far I commend you. I found it really confusing in making a final decision with all of my mattress research and trial and error.

There are a ton of options out there and reviews don’t always help. Sometimes you just have to try it out for yourself. I do hope that this review helps those that may be on the fence or unable to try the mattress styles in person before purchasing.

I will also note that I have back issues and was afraid to go with a softer mattress as a result. So far with the pillow adjustment I haven’t had the same intense and constant pain that I have had when breaking in a new mattress and it’s only been two days.

Typically, it takes me a month or more to get to a pain free comfort level with any changes in my mattress or alignment issues. I guess only time will tell. I do hope I love it just as much within a month, year and maybe even 5-10 years time.

It would be nice if our certifications and health ratings / standards were a bit higher so I could sleep more soundly at night knowing I am not breathing in more toxins while I am supposed to be recovering.

This mattress provides a really bad sleep because it never inflated all the way and it’s very lumpy because certain portions of the mattress inflated higher than the other ones.

When this purchase came in we let it sit in a spare room on a floor for 72 hours before attempting to put on the bed. The middle of the mattress is the highest point so there is a huge lump running across the middle of the mattress.

One corner inflated halfway so there’s a huge dip at the head of the bed. The mattress may say 12 inches but it only inflated to 10 at the best. Once we had it set on the bed and we saw the way it looked I attempted to make a return, however because it was bought through walmart.

com but purchased through a third-party I had to go through Hayneedle to make the return. Once I was directed to Hayneedle, their website list a big disclaimer that states they do not except returned mattresses once opened.

completely upset with that due to the fact that we didn’t realize anything was wrong with the mattress UNTIL we opened it! So unfortunately because of the money that we paid for this mattress, we are stuck with it until we get a new one.

The sides of the mattress measure 10” high. The mattress width is as stated in the description. We bought this mattress to fit on a platform frame for a full size bed and have had to place spacers at the head of the mattress to keep it from shifting.

The mattress is comfortable for a mattress in this price range. I would caution against trusting the dimensions if you have a frame that needs a mattress with standard measurements. Delivery and packaging was excellent.

But I went back and price checked, and the 10 inch is more expensive than the 12 inch! So I’m not going to worry about it, but if that’s important to anyone, just be aware. I’m happy with Walmart’s return policy too.

I got burned buying this same exact mattress elswhere (for more money) before finding this one a few hours later at Walmart (cheaper, and faster delivery), and can’t return it without shipping and restocking fees, so now I have two mattresses.

My other child will just get a new mattress too. I’ll stick to Walmart in the future. Would recommend.

REAL, UNPAID FOR REVIEW!! Do not DISBELIEVE all of the reviews saying this comes new, in box with stains. The edges never fluff up, it is nothing like the pictures in the ad. It is flat and is all you can feel is springs, you cannot feel the memory foam padding at all which is about 1/2 an inch thick in reality.

If you are on an extreme budget and going to use a box spring with this, MAYBE it could work, but I am finding overall that beds packaged in a box just is not ideal (I’ve tried about 5 now and it is no fun returning an opened mattress at Walmart Customer Service).

Save a little longer and go for a 12 inch memory foam of a better brand if at all possible! I would not even suggest this for children (I have two kids) because I don’t think it is best for your back to have big springs under you without at least 3 inches of a foam pad, even then I don’t think it would be comfortable.

This mattress is not comfortable, nor is it high-quality. It is about as comfortable as you would expect in a pull out sofa bed. Possibly something in an RV. Do not purchase this mattress as a regular mattress as it is not sufficient.

I use it in a guest bedroom I am creating so family can stay with me while I’m having surgery and through my recovery process and honestly I am self-conscious about it. I would absolutely return it without hesitation if I could do so, but since the mattress is heavy and large and I do not have a truck to move it I am sort of stuck with it.

If the return policy is still good in a month once I have recovered from surgery, I will return it then. If there were a different return policy, one where Walmart would come and get the mattress from me I would definitely do that.

I can feel the springs in this mattress, as well as the wooden slats of the bedframe through the mattress itself. The mattress is very springy so when you sit on it it bounce up and down. Definitely not a good quality one trying to sleep.

It is also very shallow, so it does not sit at the proper height on many good friends. Overall this mattress looks feels and even sounds cheap. You get what you pay for, so don’t ignore the fact that this mattress is very inexpensive.

Do however ignore all of the reviews praising this mattress. It really is not very good, so spend some extra money and get something better.

Ordered the king size and it shipped super fast. First time ordering a mattress online or that comes in a box, so I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into & was really taking a chance with this purchase.

My fiance & I were wowed from the moment we got it out of the plastic. Feels extremely high end!!! Sleeping on it you would never imagine it is at this price point! Amazingly comfortable and supportive.

It strikes the right balance of firm and soft due to the mix of textures I assume. Definitely will never buy a non-hybrid mattress again. For the price it seriously is a must. Another thing, I was really worried about the thickness and height of the mattress being too wimpy & cheap looking but that ended up being a non issue.

This provision was not disclosed at time of purchase but apparently is buried in the details of the so called “forever warranty”. Nectar has been unwilling to help with the defective mattress cover and has voided the warranty so that any future issues that may arise will also go unaddressed.

In fact, Nectar was quite rude and steadfast on its position related to this matter, despite not adequately displaying this apparent exception to the “forever warranty” on its website or at any time during the purchasing process.

A review of the home page of Nectar’s website where one goes to purchase a mattress makes no reference to the 90 day time period. In fact, Nectar is clearly displaying this “forever warranty” by guaranteeing the mattress for as long as you own the mattress.

I have had my Nectar mattress for almost 4 years and have always loved it. I found it perfectly comfortable and have recommended it to many. Today when I was changing my sheets I noticed some shiny fibers in the mattress cover, so I whip out a flashlight and I can see many many small fibers with an obvious sheen that I recognized.

I used a damp cloth to wipe the edge of the bed and it confirmed my initial reaction. The mattress cover is made from fiberglass, an extremely irritating and itchy material often used in insulation. Not only is this a horrible choice of material to fireproof a mattress with, but it is extremely difficult to clean up once it has contaminated a space.

In the past couple years I have had a couple breakouts of mysterious rashes with intense itchiness, particularly on the back of my neck. I chalked it up to being a stress rash or allergies but now I know this was obviously not the case and is probably caused by the horrible product I spend at least 8 hours on every night.

In addition to that, I’ve had bloody boogers and chronic bloody noses, something I’ve never experienced in my life prior to owning this mattress. After a bit of searching online I’ve come to find that I am not the only one with this issue and there are some horror stories of folks who have removed and cleaned the cover, contaminating their houses, washer and dryer and all their belongings with fiberglass.

Not only am I devastated that I now have to get rid of this mattress which I loved, but I am now out close to $800 and am seriously concerned that I may never be rid of this nearly invisible threat. It’s also very suspect that there is no information regarding the cover materials on this website.

If you look at the FAQ they deliberately say they don’t sell replacements covers, and removing your cover voids your warranty. Pretty odd that it comes with a zipper then huh? STAY AWAY FROM THIS MATTRESS AND DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE MATERIALS MATTRESS COMPANIES USE!.

Definitely meant for children or light weight adults. I added a 3 inch gel topper so it holds up to my weight (235 lbs). I gave it 48 hours to expand and it expanded to nearly the full 5 inches. There’s no odor.

Has a zippered cover you can remove to wash. Over all, I knew this mattress was more meant for children/light weight adults, but I had already bought the twin xl topper for my daybed to put on my old mattress, but wanted a twin xl mattress to go with the topper (my daybed didn’t state it was meant for a twin xl mattress, that’s why I bought the topper), and am satisfied with this brand and mattress/topper combo.

I read the reviews about this mattress and decided to buy two for my kid’s bunk bed. The mattresses arrived within 5 days (on time). They arrived in a short medium size box and mattresses were vacuumed sealed in two heavy duty plastic wrapping.

The mattress is a perfect fit for the bunk beds. It’s easy to lift and it’s NOT thin and flimsy. The mattress is firm and soft. My kids love the feel of it and says it’s comfortable to sleep on. I layed on it myself and it was more comfortable than the kid’s spring mattresses I previously had.

The price was reasonable and well worth it. With all the other options for memory foam mattresses I’m so happy i decided to get the LinenSpa “5 mattress😊 I strongly recommend getting this mattress!!!!.

I did not try this mattress in store – I just read reviews and it seemed like the best option in this price range. Since I was in a hurry to furnish my guest room, I ordered the Casper Element online without trying it.

I was surprised when the mattress arrived rolled up in a box but this ended up being a plus as it easy to unbox and set up. However, the comfort leaves something to be desired. This mattress is VERY soft.

I don’t understand the reviews calling it firm. To be fair, I have a preference for firm mattresses (my own mattress is a BeautyRest Extra Firm), but this is MUCH softer than any mattress I’ve ever slept on, and as I travel and stay in hotels & Airbnbs extensively, I’ve tried thousands of mattresses.

I could not sleep on this without causing back pain, but I can see how someone who prefers softer mattresses could love this. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase as the price was right and delivery was smooth, but I would not choose this mattress for myself.

So far my guests have not complained and it’s certainly better than the cheap IKEA mattress I had there before. It gets the job done, but if I could go back, I would have gotten something else.

Before getting this mattress my fiancé and I were sleeping on an old, very firm full sized mattress. It was so bad that my fiancé mostly slept on the couch, and I dealt with the back and neck problems the mattress was causing me – waking up every morning in pain.

We splurged and got The Element and we’ve been sleeping so much better since! No more back pain or issues of any kind, and we can sleep in the same bed again! It has a little bit of bounce to it, and it doesn’t conform to your body to the same degree as an expensive memory foam mattress (the only other I’ve slept on is a family members Tempur-Pedic memory foam), but it does conform and hug you to a smaller degree, enough to keep your body aligned and alleviate back pain.

For the budget we were on this was a great purchase, and we got a nice deal during Memorial Day sales. Casper has a great return policy, and spend the extra for the warranty! I feel safe buying from this company, and we love our beautiful mattress!.

This is our second Chime mattress, in two separate homes. We love this mattress! Our first mattress in on a platform bed and the second is on box springs. The mattresses at both locations are extremely comfortable.

We bought the first mattress because we had a spiral staircase we needed to get a bed up. It’s compact size in the box was ideal for our situation. The second mattress we drove to our remote home in the mountains, somewhere I would not ask UPS or FedEx to deliver.

So we fit it into our Jeep and drove it ourselves. The convenience, comfort and extremely reasonable cost of the Chime mattress makes it a favorite with us!.

Who knew unwrapping a mattress could be so much fun! I was not prepared for the intensity of watching this thing unfurl from its vacuum sealed state! Talk about entertaining! One minute its a hard roll and the next it’s a large floofy mattress! I really could not be more impressed with both the packaging and the mattress itself.

I didn’t have high hopes with it being a “bed in a box” but I was quite surprised at the level of comfort and how nice this mattress looks! It’s a med-firm support, has a nice plush top, and its a hybrid with both springs and foam for support! I really appreciate that the foam is CertiPur certified.

What impresses me the most about this mattress is the comfort. I have scoliosis so it’s important for me to have a good mattress. I have been waking up relatively pain free, so that’s a huge pro in my book.

I am petite and around 125 lbs, and my husband is around 200, and it works well for both of us. I am more a back sleeper, while he sleeps on his side, and we both are sleeping great and waking up refreshed.

There is no noticeable heat issues like we have had with some foam mattresses either. Flash Furniture really got it right with this line of mattresses for sure!.

This mattress is very well made, and I was really looking forward to it. When we got it, we carried it up to our bedroom to open it up. You can do this by yourself, but it is somewhat heavy and awkward, so it’s helpful to have 2 people.

We took it out of the box, and followed the instructions on how to open it. The matress fluffed up pretty fast, so we stuck it to the side to let it fully take shape. There was a slight odor mat first, but it eventually went away.

When it came time to go to bed, I was slightly disappointed. I’m a bigger guy, so I thought maybe I was too heavy for it, but my wife who is only 110 pounds felt the same way. It is very soft and you sink down into the bed, it’s kind of hard to maneuver around because you sink in so much We did sleep ok, but it wasn’t the most comfortable.

We decided to give it another shot the next night, but the same thing occurred. If you like a very soft bed, then this is the mattress for you, but unfortunately we need something firmer.

I was a bit worried about this mattress being a medium-firm. Softer mattresses have always been my go-to and I was a little apprehensive. To my utter surprise, this mattress has exceed my expectations! It is A LOT softer than I anticipated.

I almost wonder if I was sent the wrong firmness! Whatever the case, I am extremely happy with my mattress! Getting it out of the plastic was a little difficult, but nothing too bad. Once the plastic was cut, it popped right open! I let it sit in our guest bedroom for about 36 hours before putting it on our new frame.

There were no issues with it no expanding fully, which I have had in the past with mattresses in a box. I was worried that we would be able to feel the coils when we were laying down, but have not had any issues with that! 10/10 definitely recommend!!.

After trying multiple other brands of mattresses and being disappointed each time, we decided to try Leesa, because we were able to test it out in a store before purchasing and because Leesa was open about the number of springs in their mattress.

I’m not sure if the one we tried in the store was an older version or was just broken in more but it was much more comfortable than the one that we received. Although the Leesa hybrid initially felt more firm than the one we tried in the store, my partner and I have both started having the aching low back pain that we experienced from our old mattress from lack of support.

Keep in mind, we are both under 150 pounds. I carry most of my weight in my hips and feel like that area sinks way deeper into the mattress than the rest of me, which I think is causing me to get out of alignment.

We are both combination sleepers and sleep on our sides, backs, and stomach. We have tried the recommended steps to make it more firm but it hasn’t worked. We are just at the 30 day point and I’m disappointed.

I’m so tired of having to return mattresses because it makes me sick that most end up in the landfill but I think this one will be going back unfortunately. I wish Leesa offered exchanges like some other brands, I would like to try out the Legend to see if it is more supportive, but I don’t want to be stuck with a mattress that I can’t return and also causes back pain.

I like a firm mattress, so foam mattresses out of the box have done well for me. My first was a Nectar but it was time to upgrade so I got the Leesa hybrid on the recommendation of a friend. The first few nights were ok but I woke up with my lower back hurting.

Honestly, that’s probably my fault as I sleep on my stomach and can contort my body oddly while sleeping. I added a mattress cover with very minimal quilted down padding (very minimal, just a standard mattress protector) and it made enough difference that the next week was much better.

So far so good. I recommend the foam pillows as they’re super supportive for your head and neck. I do want to note that there was a smell when I unboxed the mattress – a combo of clean laundry scent with a touch of chemical.

That went away within 24 hours. Also, it felt to me that portions of the mattress took longer to fully unfurl and fluff – I slept on one side and couldn’t shake the feeling I was rolling to the side the first night.

This also went away within a day or two. Overall very comfy, but give it a good 12-48 hours before full judgment.

We had chose Leesa mattress originally because of. other customer reviews, price point, versatility of sleep position accommodation, quick delivery,etc. Truth Is, I would have never considered a box & ship mattress if we had not decided to list our cottage as a vacation rental and needed these features and needed them as soon as possible! But I sure am glad we did chose Leesa Mattresses.

they arrived quickly , the price for the 2 XL twins(which we made in to a king) was very comparable with other companies, they were easy to transport And manoeuvre. We had an original design sleep number bed which was pretty tuff to change the bedding on and clean thoroyghly, but these are great! Light enough to easily move, sturdy enough ti sit on the edge without sinking, firm enough for a great nights sleep.

Our 3rd guest actually wrote to us about how after her back surgery she had trouble sleeping, but was so comfortable on these, that she stripped back the bedding to see what mattresses that they were so that she could order her one! We finally got to enjoy them for ourselves recently and I must say.

they are very comfortable. So several guests in, and all are sleeping well♡ I am glad we discovered Leesa Mattresses and highly recommend them D&L Robertson.

I probably considered 50 different bed-in-a-box mattresses before deciding to take a chance on this one. I’m glad I did. I wanted something straight forward with just two layers, one memory foam, one a higher density base foam, not 12 layers of charcoal, green tea, etc.

This one fit the bill perfectly. I will say though, that this one is very firm, more firm than I anticipated. Side sleeping was fine. Back sleeping was tougher. In the end, I added a 2″ memory foam topper.

It’s perfect now. It’s only been a couple of weeks so how long it maintains its shape remains to be seen. I recommend letting it expand for the full 48 hours before sleeping on it. A little odor at first but barely noticeable.

Take it from someone who researched the crap out of mattresses. With Walmart’s return policy, you can’t go wrong. So far, I can’t speak highly enough of this product. I actually look forward to going to bed now.

I bought 2 Mattresses Sizes Twin for my kids bunk bed. At first I didn’t want to buy anything in a rush because I wanted to take my time on finding a good quality mattress that could be on my budged.

I did a lot of research on mattresses because I wasn’t sure what to buy specially when you buying on Internet is not always what it looks like in the pictures. Again, What I wanted was a mattress that wouldn’t sink in or be with resort, That wouldn’t last or be uncomfortable in any way for my kids! So after doing a lot of research and reading reviews etc.

This mattress is extremely comfortable and was super easy to set up. Came with all the air sucked out. Unrolled on my bed frame and cut the plastic and it promptly started to get its shape! The mattress cover it comes with ot olny looks nice but is good quality as well.

Buy the most important part is the rest I have been getting on this mattress. It is much better than my old spri g mattress I previously had! I would not only buy again but also recommend to my friends and family :).

I’ve seen all the hype about foam mattresses with no inner springs, or even mattresses that are completely made of baffled rubber, but I never felt ready to take the plunge. Part of the reason for that is because I wasn’t ready to give up the support that comes with inner springs.

Sure, we all have that memory of the “spring that sprung” or the noisy springs that drive you crazy, but when done right, springs provide the best overall support. I was happy, then, to learn that hybrid mattresses were a thing.

Combining layers of gel, foam and inner springs, hybrid mattresses are attempting to be the best of both worlds. We ordered the Serta – Simmons 12″ Plush Hybrid Mattress with a bit of skepticism, but willing to give it a try, since our mattress was over a decade old.

The mattress arrived in a big, rectangular box, weighing in at about 45 pounds. Not small, but not unmanageable. Once we opened the box, we found the mattress tightly rolled up, wrapped in plastic, and containing no air.

We rolled it out on our box spring and could immediately hear the whooshing of air filling up the mattress. Serta helpfully included a letter opener to allow us to cut the plastic off without harming the mattress.

Yes, an actual letter opener that you can use for opening letters when your mattress no longer needs it! Although the mattress expands pretty quickly, it still takes a bit of time to expand to its full height, which in our case was about 12 inches.

The top layer is memory foam, and turned out to be firmer than I at first thought it would be. We were pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable it was! Movements from one of us were dampened very well so that the other didn’t feel much.

Before we actually slept on it, we weren’t sure it could displace our existing mattress that has a bit of a pillow top, but after one night on the new mattress from Serta, we weren’t going back! I’d describe it as just the right level of firmness coupled with just the right level of plush.

The instructions warned that it might stink for a few days, but we didn’t find any annoying odors that lasted more than the first few hours. Now that we’ve slept on it for several days, we like it even better.

The only negative that I can think of is that the edges aren’t as firm as I’d like. That only matters when you’re sitting on the edge of the bed, putting your socks on, for example. Normally, the edges are reinforced with wire to make them stiffer.

I assume that’s not possible on a mattress that is rolled up in a box. This is a minor quibble, but one that you may want to know about. All in all, we’re sold on this mattress. It is now our “daily sleeper” and we hope to get many years’ use out of it.

I can find very little not to like, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a new mattress.

We have tried various bed-in-a-box (BIAB) options, but no other has impressed us nearly as much as this Simmons 10″ Medium Hybrid Mattress. This is an excellent mattress option. We have three queen beds in our household.

Each one has a different new bed-in-a-box option we wanted to try. This Simmons is our most recent BIAB, and it will be what we use going forward. The mattress features: + Individually-wrapped coils to help isolate movement, promote airflow, and provide support.

+ Climate Cool moisture-wicking cover to help you sleep cool and dry. + Gel memory foam to provide excellent comfort. Simmons offer a 100-night return period. It’s encouraging to see a traditional mattress company doing that.

Many of the smaller internet mattress companies offer a return period ranging from 30-120 nights, so 100 nights is pretty good. But I don’t think you’ll need to worry about returning this one. When testing a mattress I look for a few specific traits: 1.

Support. The individually-wrapped coils here allow the Simmons to provide a high level of support. This support will allow your body to align in a proper position for restorative sleep and help prevent back and hip pain.

2. Comfort. While I like strong support, I have found that I really appreciate a soft topper. Our primary bed is a king-sized bed with a 2″ foam topper. This mattress includes a gel memory foam comfort layer that is quite good at allowing your body to sink in just enough to keep your spine aligned without that mushy, overheated feeling you might get from traditional memory foam.

3. Edge Support. This is an area where traditional foam mattress usually fall short. Edge support is not as strong in the Simmons as it is for a firm coil mattress, but it is more than adequate, especially for a BIAB type mattress.

This is due to the hybrid (coil + foam) construction. The mattress arrives in a rather large box. It is rolled up and wrapped very tightly. Note, the queen size version is 87 pounds, so you’ll need some help to move it around.

Once you begin to remove the wrapping, the mattress will begin to expand. Let it fully expand before using it. Once it has expanded, you do not need to flip this mattress with regular use, although you should spin it every few months.

Note it does not include grab handles on the sides, which would make spinning it or moving it to another location FAR easier. The lack of handles is actually my only complaint with the mattress. As it typical with a BIAB, there may be some slight off-gassing smell for a day or two, but it does not continue beyond that initial period.

All-in-all, I am extremely pleased with this mattress. I have slept on traditional coil mattresses and on foam/latex mattresses. Both have their strengths, but I think the hybrid option is the best of both worlds and highly recommend this bed by Simmons.

After I finished building my daughter’s new bed, we decided that she needed a new mattress to replace the firm traditional innerspring mattress she’d been using for the past 10 years. She said that she wanted something softer so this seemed to fit the bill as it was described as “Plush Memory Foam”.

My only hesitation was that this would be the first mattress that we bought without seeing it and trying it first in a store. I decided that Simmons was a reputable brand and I would give it a shot. We got her the full sized option.

When the mattress arrived, I was a little surprised at how much it was folded/compressed/rolled to fit into the shipping box. We took the mattress out and released it and as though through magic, it expanded to a full size mattress.

The instructions say to give it 24-48 hours to fully decompress but I don’t think it took that long. Since it has no springs, the edges tend to compress a lot when you get into the bed, so if you sleep close to the edge, be aware of that.

For my daughter, she’s basically in the middle. The actual thickness of our mattress when fully expanded was 11. 5″, which I think is typical Sleeping on the mattress, it’s very soft while still being supportive, all the qualities that you expect from a quality memory foam mattress.

My daughter said that it’s much better than her old mattress and that she really likes it. I asked her if she was either too hot or cold and she said that she was comfortable. I tried it myself and found it to be very comfortable, supporting my lower back well when lying on my back, but still soft.

You sink into the mattress some (the plush factor) but then the foam core offers good support. Overall, I liked the fact that it was compressed for shipping and moving to the bedroom, that made it easier to move around before putting it in place.

My daughter really likes it, especially compared to her old innerspring mattress which was more on the firm side.

So, the first mattress I was sent was a negatory. It was one of the 2019 Vietnam models and not the same product that was listed and it never fully decompressed. It came with a 5 year warranty not the 10 year.

Nightmare. A replacement was finally sent. I contacted Walmart support and Classic support and when the thing finally arrived it had the 10 year warranty card and properly decompressed. It was at 11” in less than an hour.

The decompression was even across the mattress and much, much better than the first mattress that was sent. I don’t really see it decompressing another 1” – it seems like 11” is going to be about as tall as it gets.

but it has been out less than 24 hours so I might get another inch out of it. Slept on it first night – was more on the firm side than plush side. Which is good for me and what I was hoping for. Will possibly soften up in 48 hours or so and would still be more of a firm with a little plush which is fine by me.

Was super mad when the first one got here but after a nice, full night sleep on the replacement 12” Queen mattress, I’m not really mad anymore. A little irritated but not mad. The 4 star review because I don’t know how well the thing is going to hold up.

The first one was such a nightmare that I have my doubts regarding integrity of mattress. Who knows. could end up lasting for 20 years and end up being best purchase I ever made. I feel bad for the delivery guy.

the mattress is definitely not light weight.

This is not my 1st memory foam mattress I’ve ordered from Walmart. The first one I ordered years ago, I wish I would have kept but I have a bad habit of buying a new mattress when I get a new place. Anywho, this mattress I have only had since May and it started out super soft, almost too soft for my back but I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of returning a mattress to Walmart with a 6 month old.

I decided to give it a try in the hopes that my body would adjust to how soft it was. Here we are 7 months later and I am constantly trying to work my way around the dip in the middle of my mattress that won’t reform (I am only 165 lbs) like most memory foam mattresses I’ve had in the past.

I flip, turn, and even try to lay on the far edges of my mattress to avoid how uncomfortable it is to lay in the middle of this mattress. It’s crazy! As a side sleeper, I literally feel my hips sink to the box spring below!!! I’m disappointed that I am having this issue and I haven’t even had it for a full year!! I cannot wait to replace this mattress!!.

Terrible mattress, began sinking on the very first day with just a single person lying down on it. I weigh about 130lbs and was surprised to see the mattress sink with just my weight on it. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with any other mattress that I’ve purchased.

I’d strongly recommend never to purchase this mattress as it left me with painful backaches within few hours of reclining on the mattress. Worst still, when I tried contacting Walmart customer care they refused to take back the mattress and insisted that I purchase a box big enough to fit an enlarged mattress and ship it back to the warehouse, which simply sounds insane! I’ve tried contacting Walmart nearly half a dozen times from the day I procured this mattress with the hopes of reaching a resolution but no luck yet! I would strongly recommend not to purchase this mattress and especially from Walmart after experiencing such pathetic customer service.

As someone with quite a lot of back problems and who has spent around the last 6 years trial and error-ing mattresses to see if they improve the issues, I can say this mattress is unequivocally amazing, especially for the price.

So amazing in fact that my mother bought the exact same one to replace a mattress in her home too. I *loathe* memory foam (I’m also a hot-natured sleeper), so finding quality spring-form/coil mattresses seems difficult these days because it seems every mattress has some sort of foam material.

In terms of firmness, I prefer a mattress right in the middle- firm enough to support my back, but not so rock solid that it causes stiffness, and soft enough that it kinda cushions around me without actually swallowing me and letting me sink in.

The firmness of this mattress from Zinus will depend largely on if you use a box spring or slats. Mine sits on slats and it’s just slightly more firmer (but not uncomfortable) than my mom’s whose sits on a box spring.

Same mattress, just different foundations. If you find this mattress a little too firm for you, try it on a box spring- I find it’s the perfect medium there. The shipping and unpacking were fairly smooth- it arrived quickly, and with two people you can get the large box to where you need it.

I let it air out for the full 3 days like Zinus recommends.

I had the opportunity to sleep on the Slumber 1 by Zinus 8” Memory Foam Spring Hybrid Mattress for several weeks. Although I was initially skeptical that a “mattress in a box” style mattress could be comfortable, I have been really pleased with the comfort level and durability of this mattress.

Out of the box, this Zinus mattress unfolds beautifully into a flat-lying mattress. The Slumber 1 by Zinus 8” Memory Foam Spring Hybrid Mattress fit beautifully on my existing box spring and fits perfectly in a standard sheet.

Coming from a 13-inch mattress, I was worried that the depth would be an issue in regard to comfort and sturdiness. However, after sleeping on this mattress for several weeks, I am amazed by how terrific and comfortable this hybrid mattress is.

This mattress is unique in that it features both foam and innerspring. I absolutely love how well the memory foam contours to my body; namely my neck and back. I have woke up feeling refreshed and comfortable with the Zinus Memory Foam Spring Hybrid Mattress, and am happy with how durable and well-made the mattress looks and feels.

If you are looking for a mattress that is easy to set-up, well-constructed and comfortable, the Slumber 1 line by Zinus will not disappoint!.

Mattress is good as far as the quality goes. It inflated right after I removed the outer cover. Inflated to 8inches in the first 12hrs and to max. 9inch in 72 hrs. Disappointed in that regard as i had ordered this mattress after a really long search for a 10inch mattress.

Its not super hard or super soft. It seems to do well as per quality for my 3year old. She sleeps well on it and i also found it comfortable to sleep on. All in all its a good purchase, just disappointed it didn’t rise to its correct size.

So, we purchased our King Size Hybrid approx 65 nights ago, so this is a SOLID review. Starting with the positive, the mattress is quite comfortable, although probably just a tad too soft for us. We are larger people, and while the support is LIGHT years better than our old mattress, for $1800, I expected more contoured support.

I still have a lot of pain in my hips at night. There claims of all this zero energy transfer just isn’t accurate. I feel every time my husband turns over or gets up. The facts are, there are more coils to memory foam ratios, so you absolutely will feel any balance changes.

Another positive is I’m an extremely hot sleeper, and have not had any problems sweating at night. So, there’s that I guess. Ok, my biggest issue with this bed, and it could easily be a deal breaker, is if you get ANYWHERE close to the side or the corner of the bed, the entire side collapses, and you fall right off the bed.

Now, T & N touted the fact that their mattresses are reinforced at corners and sides, but that’s just not true. I haven’t fallen out of a bed, since I was drunk in my 20’s. Now, I fall out of bed at least once during the night, and it’s annoying AF.

So I just stay as much towards the middle as you can, or u will fall off. Just sitting on the side of the bed, is extremely hard to get up from, because the entire side of bed pancake collapses into nothing, and u will end up on the floor.

Maybe if you were a child it wouldn’t do this, but as an adult, it definitely collapses. I’m debating returning it now, for this factor. I absolutely HATE feeling like falling off the bed every time I’m laying down in it.

Since this happen on both sides, when 2 larger adults sit on opposite sides, when you go to lie down together, it also gives us both that “rolling to the center of the fruit bowl” feeling, which we dislike immensely.

If you try to climb your way out of the bowl, it then feels like your going to fall off said bed. Ugh, I’m torn on whether to send back. We are also both side sleepers fyi.

Pros: I sleep great, back pain is more manageable than it’s ever been. Non-existent 95% of the time. The mattress is comfortable, and sleeps surprisingly cool. I get hot in my sleep, and I don’t have any temperature issues with this mattress, even with another person in bed.

Motion doesn’t transfer very far at all so I don’t disturb the person sleeping next to me. Cons: It’s stupid heavy. The pressure curve of this mattress is very strange at first, it takes some getting used to.

But once you do you’re in for a good night’s sleep. I have a REALLY messed up back. Broke my spine in 12 places, broke my neck, tailbone, sacrum, hip, pelvis, and I have severe spinal stenosis. I’ve had over 30 fractures in my life.

Sleep is a gift I don’t often get to enjoy. That being said, this mattress is extremely heavy. Think of a heavy mattress. and now imagine one that you would deem extra ridiculously heavy. This mattress is 3-5x that.

I know a few people by now who own T&N mattresses, and the general consensus seems to be that no matter what you do, you are going to put this mattress on the bed upside down. As was the case with mine.

This became problematic quickly, however, as the bag my mattress was vacuum sealed in had a puncture in it. So as soon as I got the mattress out of the box, it started hissing to life. Upside down, against the clock.

However, I sleep more through the night than I though I ever would. I used to sleep maybe 40% of the night through? Now it’s about 95% And the mattress doesn’t transfer motion. like at all. You can set a full can of soda on your partners side, and sit down on your side.

The can won’t tip over. I used to keep my girlfriend up all night changing sides and tossing and turning. She sleeps through the night now even when I have a really bad back flare up. Even when I have a really bad back flare up, in bed is the only time I feel actually comfortable.

The first month or so, I was extremely comfortable but didn’t sleep so well. I can’t tell you how comfortable this mattress is. A friend of mine owns the 2nd softest Purple they offer (I think it was the.

3?) and when he sat on this, he got mad. It’s more comfortable. He bought one of these 4 months later. Once you get used to this mattress it’s absolutely heavenly. The youtube reviews I saw of this mattress made it look extremely squishy.

It certainly doesn’t feel that way. One of the concerns both my girlfriend and I had were that it looked too squishy for certain night time activities. Quite the opposite. It’s fantastic in every way.

It is soft for sure, but this mattress has absolutely no business being as supportive as it is. The mattress is pricy, but Tuft and Needle has some fantastic sales. Wait until they have a sale and get the Hybrid.

You’ll thank yourself later. Never be afraid to spend money on 3 things: A car, shoes, and a mattress. If you’re not in one, you’re in another. You owe it to yourself to be comfortable and buy the best mattress you can afford.

Bought last Christmas to replace a big brand pillow top mattress. We shopped all the online mattress sources, and the super popular memory foam mattresses at the furniture stores which were ridiculously expensive.

And T&N didnt try to hook us with offers of nonreturnable accessories, which i appreciated. After a glowing review from my nephew, we bought T&N without testing and couldn’t be more pleased. We actually are excited to go to bed again! Just the right amount of support for both of us.

It’s better than memory foam only, imho. Plenty of edge support. Never too hot, and I waited until July to post this review. Delivery was a breeze, our king was like a 20x20x48 inch box or so. Heavy, but no more than another mattress.

Pop the bag and watch it expand to a mattress! I noted no real aromas besides a small it but that was gone in a week. None now at all. Highly recommended.

The box was very heavy, but I didn’t have a problem placing a towel under one end and sliding it to the bedroom. Took it out and unrolled onto my existing foundation. It expanded much faster than I thought it would.

We slept on it that same night, so it sat for a good 6-7 hours. This mattress is soooo comfortable!! At first I thought it was going to be too firm, then after laying on it for a few minutes it formed to my body like sleeping on a soft but supportive cloud! We have slept on it for two weeks now and LOVE IT!!.

I bought a full size 12 inch mattress, Dreamland, which is important when considering reading reviews as this mattress comes in 3 different thickness options. I spent hours upon hours trying to get the most bang for my buck, and I think I was successful! Mattress came in an appropriate sized box, was very heavy though so be careful dragging this by yourself even if you’re strong and capable.

I would advise having a helper with you to transport to the bedroom and help with opening. I’m a side sleeper for the most part and was able to use the mattress the first night. And it was a great night of sleep.

I’ve had the mattress for two months now and absolutely no issues. The mattress is not one that you flip but if you are sleeping on it solo I would recommend turning every couple of months. The mattress also has great motion isolation, meaning if you lay down on one side the other side remains unchanged.

Even with excellent, expensive mattresses sometimes I would wake up with some minor stiffness. This is maybe the only mattress I could literally sleep for 15 hours without having any mattress issues; if I have to catch up with lost sleep.

It is soft and medium firm at the same time. I originally bought this to be used for half a year to a year and then use it as a spare, guest bedroom. I might still do this but actually upgrade this to a king since the price of the king is almost identical to the price of a full.

I also planned on purchasing a mattress topper to improve this mattress, but after sleeping on it for two months there really isn’t a need. Here’s what I have told my friends and family about this mattress: I literally can’t imagine how it is possible to make a better mattress.

We had a big name brand memory foam mattress for a while and it did not hold up well. We were desperate for some comfort and good night sleep but it wasn’t in the budget to splurge on something with a bigger brand.

I came across Sweetnight over Black Friday weekend and we decided to take the gamble since the price was so good. LET ME TELL YOU! I have been sleeping great. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in quite a while.

The quality seems great and I really think it’s going to hold up better than the mattress we had before. I am so pleased with this purchase!.

We purchased two of these for our son’s bunk bed. I did a lot of research on mattresses before purchasing these. We wanted something affordable and safe with good reviews. The mattresses are great, they inflated fully including the corners and are very comfortable to lay on.

The only thing for bunk beds is that they are a bit thick for the top bunk. The mattress comes up nearly to the guard rail.
