I was so excited to try making this at home, because I frequently get matcha green tea lattes at coffee shops. This matcha powder comes directly from farms in Japan. It is very high quality of course, and the taste is fantastic.

I think it does take a little practice to learn how to make these lattes, but I am confident that I will get better at it. There are some very helpful videos on the company website, and it was cool to see the many ways you can choose to make matcha tea.

First let me say the package is a bit smaller than I expected. It does have the oz noted but I did not take it into consideration. Nevertheless, the product itself is good. I put it in with my protein powder or sometimes with milk/water.

If your beverage is cold, it takes a bit Mixing even though the product is nice fine powder to facilitate blending. I like to use my bullert to help the process. The flavor is as expected as well. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

I love matcha, and I drink matcha latte every day and a few times a day! Yet, I didn’t like this. First cup I made was bad, because I am so used to what I have been drinking. I buy 100% Organic Japanese Matcha from Amazon, and I should stick to it.

It is not the ceremonial grade, but it is really good for the middle grade. I drink it every day instead of coffee. I cannot afford that ceremonial grade, but the one I order from Amazon is really good for the price.

I am sorry to say that this is not even middle grade for me. It has really tangy strange flavor and smells a little weird. I think if you use this for a health reason into a shake or baking, it might be okay.

I am sorry, but I really wanted to love! I probably use this for matcha cookies or something instead of drinking as my favorite matcha latte. I guess I trusted the reviews here. I hate to give the critical reviews, but I didn’t want people to get disappointed like I did.

Wanted to start matcha tea but unfamiliar. This is a good batch, pure, gave me tons of energy and I think vitality. But it is a small bag, probably around 7 cups max. So if you have not tried matcha start with this.

This is very good and I’ve only used it as a tea by itself and I swear it tastes like a cup of hot chocolate. I use water, silk almond milk and a teaspoon of honey and that it’s. I love it and will only buy this product.

DoMatcha Summer Harvest makes delicious lattes. I make a coconut Matcha latte with pumpkin spice first every morning and love its rich, umami flavour. It’s also great iced. The cost per serving makes this a very affordable investment in your health and well-being, as Matcha is loaded with antioxidants, boosts brain function and provides sustainable energy throughout the day.

I only use 1/2 tsp for a large, 2-cup serving and find it’s more than enough.

I’m not going to start with the endless benefits of matcha drinking (the art of chado), to know that, google it or read brainready’s article written about it way before matcha became popular to te mainstream.

I am a natural practitioner, tea artisan, business owner and herbalist and DO matcha is the ONLY matcha I recommend to my patients. I used to sell it in my store as well. It’s the best out there but warning; once you get used to drinking this, all other matcha will taste grainy and you’ll find yourself shocked at the brownish colour when in fact it SHOULD be luminescent green like this one.

It’s silky and smooth. If you have a difficult time drinking it at first, cheat and add a touch of sugar or honey, stevia, whichever you prefer and gradually reduce that. There’s two ways to drink it.

Koicha or ususha (I’m probly not spelling that correctly lol). One is thick and strong such as how do matcha’s directs on the ceremonial grade. 1/4-1/2 tsp (or 1-2 scoops in your chasuku -bamboo scoop used in chado) in 1/4 cup HOT (not boiling) water and use a WHISK or CHASAN (bamboo whisk used for chado).

Put the matcha in your small bowl or chawan (bowl used in chado) and the add the water and whisk alternating zig zags and around the bowl, until light green froth covers the top. Drink immed. The other way is to make it more like a tea with lots of water and the same amt of matcha.

This is not the traditional way to drink matcha. **its important to remember the same principle apply as when making tea. Too hot of water releases too much tannins and makes it bitter. So check the proper temps for your tea and play around to find the adjustment that suits you.

If you’re drinking this in smoothies or shakes or in food, I suggest you get the 2nd harvest. You get more for the price because it’s not as strong. (I do find second harvest too grainy for my taste to drink as koicha tho) It’s a sin as far as I’m concerned to put something this high of quality in a blender lol.

A previous review stated he found it grainy. All I can say is you’re mixing it with a fork. Problem solved. A little research into the proper way to drink matcha and soon it will be a lifestyle not a drink (as it should be) Lastly, I’ll add that Do matcha come from the birth place of matcha where a Tibetan monk brought it over to be used prior to meditation.

Initially bought this matcha powder to try it and has been amazing. Made it for friends and they enjoyed it as well they bought it aswell.

The container size is a trick. It’s not a container full of matcha. It’s just a container with a small baggy of matcha inside. The bag is only about half the size of the actual container itself. So why waste all that material???? For what reason? 1.

You are contributing to energy and resource depletion. 2. You are tricking first-time buyers. Personally, I won’t be buying mighty leaf again.

This matcha is smooth and mixes well. I mix it in very warm almond milk with 1/2 a banana and a scoop of protein powder ( a high speed blender froths the drink. ) Gives you a great morning boost. Pricey, but so worth it for a cup of sheer enjoyment ( and did I mention the antioxidants?).

the price is ok if you drink matcha tea daily. this save you the cost of higher quality matcha like Domatcha ( used to be Zenmatcha. name changed after the company split 10 years ago). I am matcha user for over 15 years, try to save some money buying cheaper version of matcha but NOTHING to be COMPARE WITH DOMATCHA.

I am studying my PhD full-time and exercise 5-6 times a week but I found I was still extremely stressed and anxious. I have switched from a morning coffee to a matcha tea as I read that it contains less caffeine than coffee (depending how much coffee you drink) but it releases the caffeine gradually so your focus is increased minus the high cortisol levels and without the crash from coffee.

This greatly appealed to me and I am finding that it does do this and I also enjoy the slightly earthy flavour. The serving size suggested on the pack is spot-on, but I also add 1/2 tsp of stevia too.

I’ve heard of matcha for some time from watching baking shows. So I thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did it is great added bonus it’s good for you. I started out with a hot cup of tea in the mornings, got busy one morning had about half a cup left so I threw a couple ice cubes in so good.

This is one of the best matcha I’ve had! It tastes clean, fresh, and leaves a refreshing aftertaste that is similar to what I had with the matcha at tea ceremonies in Japan. Shizuoka matcha tends to be sweeter than Uji which I prefer.

This product seems a lot weaker than I am used to. I am from Japan and what I got from there seems more potent in color, flavor and smell. It is good enough to drink as sweetened/unsweetened matcha latte, but I can’t use it as strong Japanese tea ceremony worth matcha tea.

Really appreciate Celebration Herbals Double Chai tea since I can’t consume black or green tea nor tea substitutes such as rooibos. I drink it daily and prefer it cold so always brew up about 4 cups at a time and keep in fridge.

Flavorful herbal tea without the use of tea leaves or tea replacements such as rooibos, both of which I can’t have. It’s a keeper for me and I love it with just a splash of cream or barista oat milk.

I read reviews for Matcha teas here at Vitacost and at Amazon and other sites, and decided this tea was the best choice for a reasonably priced Matcha. When it came, I wondered how to open the flimsy, too-large plastic bag it is packed in, without spilling most of the tea all over the kitchen.

I had to shake the bag down a lot, in order to get the fine powder down into the bottom and then open it very gently. The packaging is impractical and doesn’t give it protection from oxidation. You need to put it into a tin or some other airtight container, but I don’t know how you can do that without spilling a lot of it.

Matcha powder is very fine and clings to plastic. And it’s hard to scoop out the right amount from the bag. I deducted one point for packaging. The tea was a dull green, not bright, but I expected that.

The first odor after opening was slightly rotten without a good, fresh tea smell–not encouraging. I carefully steeped it, and found it dull tasting, somewhat sour and bitter, and not very good. This is my first Matcha, but I drink green tea often.

This Matcha seems less than mediocre to me. I expected it to be mediocre but drinkable. Because of the rotten odor, I may return it and try an organic Gunpowder Green. It’s not too bad if you add sweetening and milk or coconut milk, etc.

I love this matcha powder! I haven’t had any in about three months and this review is reminding me that I’d love to get some! I’m a morning beverage person. It’s usually coffee, but from time to time I like to switch it up! By far the best Matcha I’ve had. Stone ground, organic, truly Japanese and the overall consistency of the color and essence makes this premium. Coming in at about $40 an ounce or $640 a pound, keeps this fine product out of reach for me.

I bought it just recently w/ 20% off coupon – thinking it would go further than it did. (Serving size is 1 tsp to appx 1/3 a cup). The 0. 7 ounce container is itself a fine quality vessel to store and ship w/, however it only holds about 4-5 servings.

Would love to see maybe a 3 or 4 ounce package available with a considerable cost adjustment in favor of a larger order.

I ordered this product as a one-off to reach the Free Shipping last year, and liked it so much that I have ordered it again! Though it is somewhat expensive, you get more (24) than the usual 16 tea bags, which is common among the herbal teas.

Also, after enjoying it for at least 30 cups worth, it is a high quality, well-crafted tea. As for the flavor? Most excellent. White tea is a delicate flavor and jasmine is often overdone in herbal or even green teas.

I only drink organic tea, and English Breakfast is one of my favourite blends. Unfortunately this Celebration Herbals tea is as bland as they come. I love tea and drink a minimum of four cups daily so I am pretty disappointed.

I love matcha lattes from Cafes but could never get the same flavor at home. I finally found matcha that produces that lovely light but distinctive flavor without any harsh bitterness. Not only that but it is less expensive than other matchas I’ve tried and less even to buy from Bokksu than Amazon.

I like it very much although consuming it has been a great personal challenge because it is not a taste I like. But if you compared it to other brands this is the best.

This is the first ever green tea Ive had! I did my research before purchasing any and decided I would give this one a try. What can I say! WOW Im hooked! I used it warm and in smoothies. This Matcha is one of the best I have purchased. It blends well, and has a great flavorful taste! I add a little hot water and use a batter frother/hand mixer for a minute or two.
