20 Best Mascara For Long Thick Lashes (2023 Updated)

I am not in the habit of leaving 1 star reviews and don’t always take stock in them but this is the worst mascara I’ve ever purchased. I usually love Stila products which is why this is so disappointing.

The mascara is clumpy on the wand and you need to wipe the wand off before applying or apply and then remove the clumps. Either way the mascara doesn’t go on easily or smoothly and it isn’t lengthening or volumising; it kind of makes my eyelashes look flatter.

The final nail in the coffin, it gives panda eyes after about an hour. Disappointing product from Stila but I’ll continue to use their other products.

Stila Extreme lash mascara gives good volume and length to lashes. The brush is large but not difficult to use, it catches every lash easily. The mascara itself is quite wet at first and clumped when first used, I found removing excess from the brush helped and after it had dried out with use after about a week it was no longer an issue and the mascara applied easily with great results.

However sadly this smudges and flakes on me after only a few hours even in colder weather and normal daily indoor conditions. If you have watery eyes or are in a humid setting it’s smudging almost immediately.

For that reason even though I like how it looks I would not repurchase.

I agree with all the reviews both good and bad. However technique and patience will pay off with this mascara. It goes on super dark and can be clumpy. Just wipe a little of the excess on the side and apply 2 layers carefully! Make sure u add under eye concealer and setting powder.

Just not too much powder or you’ll get super dry under eye. I feel it lasts all day this way and amplifies the lashes to the next level! Love the way my lashes always turn out. For a little extra wow factor curl your lashes before.

This is the one. As an Asian monolid with stick straight stubby eyelashes that point straight down, it doesn’t get more struggle bus central with the panda eyes than me. My go to used to be urban decay cannonball, but then they discontinued it and I basically gave up wearing mascara.

Let me tell you, this is way better than the UD cannonball. I live in Miami Florida and it is incredibly humid here. I also work anywhere from 12-30 hours at a time at the hospital. Let’s be real no mascara can last 30 hours…but 12 hours after being in the operating room all day? Lashes still curled and no under-eye smudging.

Even at hour 24 there is a whisper of a curl left lol. I also go straight from work to the gym so I’ve tested it in humid sweaty Florida conditions. If I sweat heavily the mascara fades evenly and somehow doesn’t smudge at all under my eyes.

And it doesn’t sting my eyes either. On top of this, the wand is thin and the perfect curved shape. It works on my barely existent bottom lashes. The forumula isn’t clumpy and doesn’t have fibers that fall into your eyes throughout the day.

It also doesn’t irritate my eyes at all and I have sensitive eczema-prone eyelids. Please don’t ever stop carrying this product.

This is my absolute favourite mascara. I have tried so many. I have eyelashes that are strong and point straight, going down slightly. It is an absolute pain to curl them and have them stay lifted the whole day.

To stay up, the mascara has to be light-weight, waterproof and long lasting. This mascara ticks every single box. The formula is great, it has never leaked. Moreover, it is exactly my style. It makes the eyelashes super long and flutter-y, separated and super pretty.

Doesn’t weight my eyelashes down at all and I have barely any lash loss when I take off the mascara. I got the brown one and the colour is so pretty and delicate looking. I have already repurchased after losing my first one and hope it comes soon.

The effect is so beautiful and I get compliments about how long my eyelashes look. Clio also chose a reliable wand type that suits the mascara. It came with a gentle curved brush that is quite sturdy but not too harsh, it’s also a little flexible.

Love the brush, it easily coats my eyelashes evenly and is easy to knock product off. It gets all the hard to reach corner lashes too. Since the brush is quite thin, I also haven’t knocked mascara onto my cheeks yet.

It doesn’t have much of a scent either. I like the packaging, easy to put in a thin makeup bag. I will be buying some of the other mascaras in this line.

I’m wondering why not one of the 46 reviews on here are by QVC customers (all taken from the Clinique website) and why every single review is about the mascara? Not once is the lipstick mentioned! The video clip has Katherine Huntley asking the expert why this product, first brought out in the 1980s by Clinique, has been brought out of retirement after so long.

The lab coat explains that it’s because of TikTok. Apparently, the younger TikTok gen think they’ve discovered something new and went on about it so much that Clinique decided to start making it again.

That’s the power these millennials have! Less than a handful of them found something in the back of their mum’s make-up drawer from years ago, declared the product amazing, so Clinique brought it back into production.

It never happens with their main customer base because we’re older baby boomers, loyal to the brand but not as likely to go on hip, cool (allegedly) social media sites. The lipstick’s a good idea, but I can’t tell if they’ve changed the formula or updated it for the gushing millennials.

No mention was made on the vid clip. Ditto about the mascara. Don’t know if QVC will post this but it’d be nice to see some other opinions or reviews from ladies on here about BOTH products seeing as they’re being sold together by QVC.

Whichever genius decided to put the Clinique website reviews on here only should have at least included reviews for both products, not just the mascara. It’s my opinion that, when it comes to Clinique, you can’t really go wrong.

Good quality, they go to a lot of effort to research the science behind the ingredients, and getting both products for £30 is an absolute bargain.

Back when I wore a full face of makeup every day, I hated this mascara- but I’ve revisited it recently and it’s my new favorite. I wear pretty natural makeup and have very sensitive eyes, and I mostly use tubing mascaras.

My lashes have also changed texture in the last few years and now grow stick-straight and refuse to hold a curl, which was never a problem for me previously. I use a heated lash curler before mascara most of the time, and even still they’re straight within a couple of hours.

This formula is very wet and the brush isn’t very dense, so it clumps extremely easily- I need to really wipe the brush off before I use it, but once I do it’s perfect. The formula dries extremely hard, almost like a hair gel, and it holds my lashes in place all day- which no other mascara (high end or affordable) has been able to do- I don’t even use the heated curler, I just use the wand to hold them up as they dry.

Because it dries so hard, it takes longer to soften it with water and remove it than other tubing mascaras, but it removes cleanly and doesn’t have any weird fibers or anything (and doesn’t start coming off if I cry or mist my face).

It’s also doesn’t leave any smudge-prints on my glasses. This isn’t the mascara for a glam look, but if you just need something gentle and natural-looking that will really hold a curl in your lashes, it’s a really solid product.

I don’t know what my problem with mascara is. Am I expecting too much? I will say, this is for all intents and purposes a beautiful mascara. But it just doesn’t do what I need it to do even though it may be the closest yet.

I tend to have mildly oily/teary/sensitive eyes and all mascara runs, flakes, or fades on me. I first knew there was a problem when I saw the wand. I prefer large curved bristle wands. They just seem to grab my lashes better and clump less.

I have to be very strategic about applying this mascara so it does not clump. Sometimes this requires the use of a clean spoolie to brush out excess product. This mascara does not smudge on me which is amazing, but it does flake horribly throughout the day and I have to do constant bathroom checkups to wipe black dots off my cheeks.

It does offer length but no volume or separation. I hope one day I will find my perfect mascara but today is not that day.

I have long but sparse lashes, so I’ve always looked for mascaras which add length and not volume, which may seem counterintuitive–but almost every mascara I’ve tried makes my lash type clumpy. I only apply one coat.

I apply two coats, the second while the first is still wet. I’ve tried wiping the brush first and I’ve tried not wiping the brush at all. I use mascaras with smaller brushes, medium brushes, ridiculous brushes, bristle and silicone brushes.

Korean formulas work better on me, but still, nothing that makes me super happy. I have this 20-year-old Sonia Kashuk double-ended stainless steel lash comb with acrylic brow comb that helps, but A GOOD MASCARA SHOULDN’T NEED A LOT OF HELP.

anyway, I never have much luck; it’s always clumpy, spidery, and just really BAD. However, e. l. f. ‘s Lash It Loud is EXCELLENT for semi-glossy, defined length and ultra-natural volume. No clumps and no gooping up.

I have the brown shade and it really is gorgeous. Love the silicone brush with the subtle ball tip. So much better than many, MANY high end mascaras that claim the same.

As a long time user of ELF, I’ve used a few of their mascaras. Unfortunately, their mascaras left me very disappointed until now! The Lash Out Loud and Big Mood mascaras have ELF in the mascara game! If you’ve tried any of there other mascaras and felt they were lackluster, believe me when I say these new ones are COMPLETELY different.

One huge pet peeve of mine is flaky mascara, which is something I don’t have to worry about with these. Both last all day and maker my eyes POP. Honestly, I can’t tell much difference in the formulas of the LOL and BM – both look great on my eyes.

For me, the biggest difference is the wand. The BM has a larger and fuller wand, whereas the LOL is thinner and a tad bit longer – making it more ideal for really getting closer to the eye. I like to layer them, but you don’t have to.

One is just fine – it just depends of your preference is wand types. My only wish would be that ELF could give us this quality at a $5 price point, because let’s face it – every dollar counts these days.

Even so, I’d still suggest them to a friend.

Let’s preface this review with the fact that I have stubby lashes, semi hooded eyes and high cheekbones. This means that other mascaras typically end up deposited on my nose, cheeks or eyelids when trying to apply product to either upper or lower lashes.

Adding to this issue are mascara brushes which are impossibly loaded with product so one typically needs to get a fresh spoolie to not end up overloading the lashes in an attempt to properly coat them.

Often this meant that only the tips of my lashes were ever completely coated with anything. THIS brush is amazing. I can get to the base of my lashes completely. Coat them fully and even do my lower lashes without a bristle stabbing me in the eye or smearing on my cheek/lid.

The formula is comfortable, not flakey, didn’t move on my watery eyes, actually defined my lashes well and cleaned off easily. In short, I’m in love.

[brand:essence] Amazing for the price! I’d heard a lot of hype about the lash princess mascara line so couldn’t wait to try one for myself. I chose the Sculpted volume (purple one) as I liked the shape of the wand and the claims of the mascara – and this is a super affordable drugstore option.

I have medium length lashes so I like a mascara that provides volume and separates the lashes – lengthening is a bonus. The mascara claims to provide “dramatic volume and defined lashes. stunning eye-opening effect”.

The mascara is on the wetter side and applies a lot of product to the lashes. 2-3 coats provides insane length, curling and volume to the lashes! I really like the curved wand which follows the natural curve of the eye – it makes the mascara really easy to apply.

You do need to be careful as the wetter formula can get messy pretty quickly and I often find some smudging once it’s been applied – you need to wait some time because it takes a while to dry down. It’s really easy to just wipe away with a tissue/cue tip.

The mascara provides volume and length. You need to be careful as the wand does apply a lot of product and it can get clumpy – I like to use a clean spoolie to separate the lashes once the mascara is applied.

I’ve never experienced any flaking. I do get a small amount of transfer on my upper eye lid/brow but as I have oily lids I experience this with almost all mascaras. It wipes off easily so this isn’t a deal breaker for me.

It provides volume which lasts all day, even when I work a 13 hour shift. Overall 4ï¸ âƒ£/5ï¸ âƒ£ – you can’t beat the quality of this mascara for the price, and I’m definitely buying this one again! I’m giving it a 4 because you do need to be careful when you’re applying it.

YALL. THIS. MASCARA. Once you get the hang of it, this mascara is THE HOLY GRAIL. I stock up on this one AND the blue AND the green. They’re all *chefs kiss* and the price is unbeatable. I’ve gotten all my friends to switch to Lash Princess and they love it too.

Let me start by saying that I use almost every mascara in the Lash Princess line because it’s cheap enough that I can do that to decide which one I like best without feeling guilty (in college I tried more >$5 L’Oréal and Maybelline mascaras than I can count).

This one is my favorite and I often layer it with the other Lash Princess mascaras when I want a “wait- those are your real lashes?” look. The different wand shapes all have a role < 3 I'm a huge fan of curved wands.

I really like how I can get to the lashes in the outside corner of my eye with the *peak* of the curve *instead of the tip* of the wand where product builds up. This wand + this particular mascara + this technique gives my eyes the winged eyeliner look *without any eyeliner.

* This stuff is DARK, DEFINING, and LENGTHENING. One coat does the job if I just want a lil pizzazz while I run errands. I WANT TO ADD that yes, this mascara can be clumpy, BUT all you have to do to combat that is apply with a lot of quick upward strokes while blinking.

This helps the wand act as a brush instead of a spatula. When you try to start slowly at the lash roots and wiggle it up (most common way I’ve seen ppl apply mascara), the spatula action happens and you’re left with a ton of product at the lash base and weird clumps that catch onto your lashes from the sides of the bristles.

1. Simple packaging, nothing too fancy. The top easily screws open without much force, however it may pose as a challenge for people with disabilities as they’re little to no additional grip, since the packaging is shiny and smooth.

2. There’s no scent, the texture is creamy, and the brush is absolutely gorgeous. Unlike a regular mascara brush, the buxom brushes has packed individual bristles that help coat each individual lash to perfection.

No clumping and no spider lashes. The lengthening effect is seriously real and it can hold a beautiful curl, which is extremely important as most mascaras are too heavy and only weigh down my lashes.

3. With a q-tip and some micellar water, I was easily able to remove the product without scrubbing. A makeup wipe also worked perfectly fine. 4. The retail price for a the full size product is $22, which is not entirely affordable, however it’s definitely worth the splurge if you want to treat yourself.

Maybelline’s Sky High mascara and L’Oréal’s Telescopic are a great alternative for this product’s lengthening features.

I received the Buxom mascara for free from Influenster and Buxom Cosmetics in exchange for my honest opinion- If you’re looking for a non flakey, lightweight mascara, this is the one! I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite brand of mascara.

The box claims this product “volumizes and lengthens for fuller-looking lashes,” but I was slightly disappointed. This product did not really add volume or length to my lashes. There is a before and after look on the back of the box.

I would say my lashes are definitely longer then the before picture. I can’t say my lashes were lengthened like the after picture shown. I can say that after a long day wearing Buxom mascara, I noticed it doesn’t smear under your eyes like other mascaras do.

That is always a plus. No one wants to constantly wipe under their eyes all day. The brush itself is phenomenal. The brush is a hourglass shape, making it easy to apply the product. The brush also defines and separates your lashes beautifully.

I can’t say I’m in love with it, but I definitely don’t hate it. I think it would be a good mascara for people with naturally, long, luxurious lashes to begin with. I wouldn’t recommend if you have short lashes really looking for a mascara to add nice volume and length.

Overall, I’m glad I was able to sample Buxom Cosmetics’s mascara!.

i received this mascara in my Target Holiday Glam Co-Op Voxbox complimentary from influenster ✨ i was super excited to try this because i’ve never tried anything from buxom before and this did not disappoint me! i loved this mascara so much, i honestly think it’s one of the best lengthening mascaras i’ve ever tried! this mascara gives a natural look.

it gave my lashes length and left them looking fuller. it wasn’t as voluminous or curling as i expected it to be but the length it adds is incredible! so this is the perfect mascara if you’re looking to separate and lengthen your lashes.

i really liked the wand because it is long and it helped separate the lashes perfectly and also allowed me to get the corner lashes easily. this didn’t make my eyelashes clumpy even after applying several coats.

i would have loved that it added a bit more volume as my natural lashes aren’t that curled; so often stick straight out but it was a great mascara for lengthening and separating the lashes! it is very black and smells nice, some mascaras tend to smell bad but this one doesn’t.

the packaging is simple but looks nice. overall i think this is an amazing mascara and i would totally recommend.

I don’t understand why L’Oréal makes so many mascaras with these fancy brushes that do not work well. The brush has only like 4 rows of bristles, which causes a whole lot of product to be applied and not enough bristles to grip/clean the product off, causing too much product to be applied to lashes causing a clumpy/messy effect.

If it had a traditional bristle brush, it may have worked out. Returning. Also smudged under my eyes after a couple of hours.

I was so excited to try this mascara out when I got it. I was very disappointed with this mascara! I have short, straight, down-facing eye lashes, so it’s hard to find a mascara that will work for me, besides that I am hypoallergenic.

This mascara made my eyes itch, it got made my lashes super clumpy when I put it on as well. This mascara did not give me the “butterfly effect” or the volume effect. This was also super hard if I wanted to put mascara on my lower lash line.

I bought this mascara because L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara is my all-time favorite, I thought the Butterfly Sculpt would be as terrific. What a huge disappointment! The wand is almost useless! It hardly deposits any mascara onto the lashes & there is only 1 side of the wand with bristles & such short bristles!! The little bristles that are there are so short as well, it doesn’t feel like they even do anything, my lashes are very curvy so the bristles don’t reach to the other side & the bristles are on a curve.

In my opinion this is a waste of money & effort! I would never recommend this product.

I am *very* particular about my mascara and this is hands down the best one you can buy today at any price. My lashes are light at the ends and look nonexistent without mascara, so I use mascara pretty much everyday.

I’ve tried almost all of them. The Wonder Perfect 4D is far superior to the others. It coats my lashes in deep color and makes them look sooo much longer and fuller without getting clumpy. It’s amazing.

One coat gives you a natural-but-magically-better look. Two+ coats creates a dramatic flutter that’s stunning. I love how flexible my lashes feel, even with multiple coats. You can really build this mascara up and still have natural-feeling lashes, not crispy spiders.

It also wears really well—no flakes or smudges—and washes off easily. I’ve repurchased many times. I always buy two, despite the price, because I hate using anything else!.

This was my first time using a Clarins mascara and I wish I had bought one sooner. It’s so nice. I usually just buy a cheaper one from the chemist and never really seems to like them because they make my lashes clump together and the wand size is always wrong.

This Clarins mascara has a really good sized wand and my lashes don’t clump together. The mascara coats all of my lashes individually and lengthens them. I like to curl my lashes before applying this mascara to give that lifted/curled effect.

This mascara doesn’t flake during the day and is easily removed with warm water and cleanser. It also hasn’t irritated my eyes so far. I really like this one.

This mascara is outstanding. I received a sample size with a previous order and was so impressed I ordered a full size on my next order. The formula doesnt pull or clump and there’s no fallout at the end of the day.

Lifts and seperates my lashes and gives me a really wide awake look! Removes really easily too with cleanser. Also, when I originally ordered this, it was missing from my main order. I contacted Clarins and they sent me a replacement within 3 days, I’m so impressed with the product and even more so with the customer service! Other companies could learn a thing or two from the Clarins team!.

As you can see from the title I finally found my dream mascara and we’re married officially! I use to use the kiss me heroine mascara and I loved it so much because it was the only mascara that kept my lashes in place and never droop at all until fast forward to the pandemic and wearing masks.

I wear glasses so whenever I have a mask on, the air from my breath would either come out from the sides of my mask or mostly up to which is my eyes. So not only does my glasses fog up but the hot air from my breathing droops my lashes too! So I tried everything to keep them up from using a lash fixer and curling my lashes with heat sticks that is well known trick many korean makeup artists do and this was the only thing that helped my lashes stay put but made my regimen more longer just to get my lashes perfect.

This mascara is waterproof but I use this makeup eye remover from nivea called the express waterproof eye makeup remover and this remover I 100000000 to infinite% recommend to everyone who uses waterproof makeup, it will do the job for you.

The version I had bought is the long black which originally I was going to get the volume but I am so happy that I didn’t otherwise I would have never have met my dream mascara!! For my this mascara is buildable but this can vary depending on the lashes you have.

My lashes are very straight and now long since I have been using the lash serum from Mude which is AMAZING and I might try the rom&nd to compare. What I had noticed using this mascara is that its extremely light weight and feels feather like compared to the kiss me where I did noticed I had it on and there were times that my eyes would itch since the formula is really drying but for the rom&nd its wet which is my first time using a wet formula that actually works amazingly like this rom&nd.

I am definitely going to get the ash and brown mascara since I love this mascara so much!!!.

A cool-tone brown is so hard to find, especially in a formula this good. I’ve also got the Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara which I like but I find their Brown shade too warm and reddish for my skin tone and looks out of place.

This mascara surprised me, I originally just bought it for the colour but it holds a curl really well and gives me great length and volume without clumping. I like to do about 3 coats for reference and it looks more feathery than heavy, but it looks great at 1 or 2 coats too.

I was really surprised that it’s pretty much waterproof which I found out when I was trying to remove it for the first time. I actually use the Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover to remove it, but I’ve also used cleansing balms which get the job done too.

I can’t recommend this enough and if they ever stop making it I will cry (but at least my mascara won’t budge. ).

I have used the Canmake Heroine mascara for years (the long version), but this is my new favourite. I would say the results aren’t as dramatic and it doesn’t lengthen my lashes as much, and it isn’t as impossibly waterproof as the Canmake one.

However it’s also the reason I prefer it : it’s a bit less waterproof yes, but it’s more than enough for me to go to the gym with, and it’s easier to remove after a long day. It also doesn’t irritate my eyes like the Canmake did because the lashes would get so rock hard and scratchy.

I get pretty lashes everyday for such an affordable price, I’ll be purchasing this as long as I can :).

This mascara is waterproof and does as advertised. I work 12hr shifts in hot, humid conditions, sweating it up. It last all day long through all this without wearing or smudging. BUT it is clumpy to apply and requires a clean brush to brush through eye lashes to separate and get the bulk of the product off.

This means it takes extra time to apply. I also don’t like that the brush bristles wear away before all the mascara is used up, shortening the life span of the product. I would also like the brush to be a bit thinner on the ends so I can apply product better to my eyelashes.

Otherwise the product is as described and I keep buying it as I haven’t found a better long wearing, waterproof mascara.

I bought this as my usual Estee Lauder mascara (Double Wear) was out of stock. I found this far too clumpy, and although it’s good for going out when you want very dramatic eyes, I found it far too heavy for every day use.

I guess it has something in it to extend your lashes, but for me just made them far too heavy. However, it is very waterproof. I used it skiing (with snow, sweat, goggles etc) and it did actually stay put, so good in that sense.

I probably wouldn’t buy again if Double wear was available.

So. I used to love Estée Lauder regular mascaras. I wear contact lenses so my eyes tend to tear a little so I switched to waterproof. After a few years of love with Dior show I decided to try something else.

First time when I tried it got all messy. Wand picks up too much product and it looks clunky and lashes stick together. looks like I just had a good old cry. Second time- I removed some of the product and it looked ok- less clunky but still not great.

Then the third time I had a moment of epiphany and I tried my old dior brush (that I use for by brows) and it looked ridiculously good! I think the product is good but brush needs to be fuller. Longs story short I’ll finish the product but will not buy again.

Absolute trash. The only positive about this mascara is that it didn’t irritate my eyes, but otherwise it was terrible. I thought this was a cult favorite I just don’t understand why. I typically wear and absolutely love everything about it, but was in need of mascara same day and couldn’t get to my [brand:sephora] so I decided to try this one.

At first the application seems fine, coats well enough I like the wand, but even towards the end of the first coat and if I do a second coat the products starts to get really clumpy at the tips of my lashes AND I HATE THAT! I also decided to get waterproof bc I have skin on the oilier side and did not want smudging of flaking.

Unfortunately I got both. This product flakes everywhere, on my lids, under my eyes. I found flecks even further down my face. Or course as the day progressed I’d wipe away what I could, but some of the flakes began to smudge.

It was all an annoying experience. I also felt like my lashes went flat, when compared to my usual mascara they appear lengthen and full/curled all day long. I will not buy this again, and this one is going in the trash.

This is a review for Waterproof. This is an incredible mascara. My holy grail was YSL mascara, but then I tried this mascara. This is a dupe for that mascara and I personally think is better than the Too Faced mascara.

The key is getting Waterproof, the original formula did not work for me. I have stubborn lashes that naturally go down. I have to curl them and it takes a great deal of effort for my lashes to curl and stay up.

This mascara volumizes, lengthens, and thickens my lashes. I have sensitive allergy eyes that water throughout the day. This mascara does not flake off during the day or smear. No raccoon eyes. This is also super black.

When the pump is new, the formula is a bit wet and too much product comes off on the wand. I will pull extra mascara off by running the brush against the pump. The wand is the perfect size for my almond shaped eyes.

I can get application from the tip to the end without it getting all over my eyelid. PRO: super long lasting, super black, excellent cost CON: new pump can be gooey, but be patient.

I’ve tried just about all drug store brand and style mascaras. I’ve even tried a few expensive ones from Dept stores. This L’Oréal mascara is hands down the best one I’ve EVER owned and I will never try another so long as they keep making this one! No clumps, makes them full with one application, and doesn’t flake even in the 90° heat today after I sweated my butt off running around after my niece and nephew.

I love love LOVE this stuff!! I dont know how I never heard of it before. I literally just accidentally found it on Amazon one day looking for a new cheap mascara and BOOM! Love at first sight I tell ya! All the 5star reviews are true! This stuff is the bomb diggity! Don’t waste your money on expensive mascara when this one right here will do all that and more for a fraction of the price! I added some pics but they really don’t do it any justice.

Buy this and you won’t regret it even a little bit!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI enjoyed using the Milani Highly Rated Anti-Gravity Mascara. It was very easy to apply on my lashes. However, I will say that I was a little confused the first time I applied it.

I did not see much of a difference with one layer of the mascara as my eyelashes typically are naturally longer and are curled. For you to get the best effect from this Milani Highly Rated Anti-Gravity Mascara you must apply 2 or 3 layers, but I would not do too many layers.

When I started to layer the product on, I noticed that my eyelashes started to clump unevenly so some of my lashes would be single while others were clumped in larger groups. My eyelashes were not clumped in a way that made sense as I added more layers of product on.

One that I really do like about the Milani Highly Rated Anti-Gravity Mascara is the brush shape. While trying this out I wanted to explore new things, so I tried to apply the product to my lower lash line.

I was very scared that the product would have missed my lash and ended up on my face, but I had no issues with applying it to my lower lashes. Overall the product does its job, but there are a few things that need to be adjusted for this to become my everyday mascara.

IšverstiShow in original languageI received a trial size of this in my Walmart beauty box. I am a big fan of Milani products. This formula is different from others as it contains Castor seed oil. I use castor seed oil on my eyelashes and eyebrows to help with growth so I was immediately attracted to that aspect of this mascara.

It’s also smudge proof and wears up to 24 hours. I can attest that it lasts up to 24 hours because I fell asleep in it and it’s still on. I have no irritation from flakes falling in my eyes and my lashes are very soft.

The hourglass brush is one that I will keep. It’s the star of the formula! For me this is not a going out mascara, it’s a great everyday mascara I will say I do not see extreme volume but I do notice extra links and it does keep my lashes from drooping.

When I run out of this I will have a tube of this on hand for everyday wear. However I’ve always loved mascara so I now have eight different mascaras!.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis mascara does not get the attention it deserves. Like many of us who use mascara, I have tried them ALL, but have bought countless tubes of this one. I almost returned my first tube bc I HATED it initially, but I’m so glad I was too lazy and just kept it, because it’s now my favorite of all time.

It’s a little wet upon first opening, but after a few uses it develops a better consistency and delivers the softest, fluffiest, dark, long, dense lashes with just a few swipes, but can be easily built to the most dramatic fringe of your dreams.

It combs out easily if needed, and layers can be added later without getting all gross and tarantula-y. It never stings or burns my eyes like many mascaras do. It never gets clumpy, rarely flakes, and I get minimal transfer (even though this makes my lashes graze my brow bone).

And it lasts awhile, unlike many that dry out and get goopy almost immediately. It even still looks good as it’s drying out. It is spectacular!! It’s disappointing that all these lackluster mascaras get all the hype, bc this one is IT.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe mascara itself is okay, nothing special, but the ridiculous oversized brush makes it impossible to use. It might be okay for a young person with taut skin but for me, being an older lady whose skin is not as taut as it once was, I end up with more mascara on my eyelids than on my lashes.

Why on earth is a premium brand like EL trying to compete with the cheap, faddy, gimmicky mascaras? I used to use More than Mascara and it was fabulous and I can’t figure out why you’d discontinue such a brilliant product.

In fact my whole make up collection used to be EL but sadly these days, the only product I can still get of my favourites is Double Wear foundation. I bought up all the stock I could find of your Artist Eye Pencil in Forest too and now I can’t find anything to compare with it either.

It’s such a shame, but I’ll have to go back to my Mac Extended Play, with a sensible brush, that puts mascara actually on the lashes, from root to tip, rather than smudging all over the lids if you get too close.

IšverstiShow in original languageBonjour, j’ai testé le mascara sumptuous extrême volume cils démultipliés: J’aime beaucoup le packaging couleur doré bleu marine que je trouve élégant et discret, la taille du flacon permet une bonne prise en main ce qui évite de le faire tomber au sol.

Idéal dans un sac à main ou une pochette à makeup. La couleur réf suprême Black est bien noir ce qui augmente l’intensité du regard. La brosse est souple et sa forme permet de ne pas avoir trop de surplus de mascara à enlever un pure gagne temps, et surtout ne fait pas mal lorsqu’on l’approche au ras des cils contrairement à certains mascaras.

L’odeur du mascara est agréable, je trouve qu’il sent bon. À l’application la matière est facile à travailler et le résultat est à la hauteur des espérances : mes cils sont plus volumineux, je n’ai pas de “paquet” les cils sont séparés et le résultat est naturel.

J’ai mis une 2ème couche pour avoir l’effet que je voulais. J’ai des cils très fins et vraiment courts ça m’aggrandi vraiment le regard. La peau du contour de mes yeux est très sensibles ce mascara convient donc à tout types de peaux.

Je n’ai pas de particules de mascara qui sont tombés sous mes yeux pendant la journée. Pour le démaquillage je n’ai pas eu de difficulté à l’enlever (cotons lavables + lait démaquillant) Il n’est pas nécessaire d’utiliser du démaquillant waterproof.

Son utilisation est agréable et j’aime le résultat, je le recommande.

Honestly, I like Big Ego and I have been using it for quite a while in my mascara routine. I use a lash primer with the Big Ego and another mascara on top. I have pretty average lashes but they are extremely dark.

I feel like Big Ego lengthens and defines. It’s not at all clumpy, so I really can coat each lash to match my natural lash color. I don’t think the formula is dry as many say here, but it’s not super wet so that it smudges either.

You may think it’s ridiculous to use two mascaras, but this combo does what I want it to do – builds up long, voluminous, dark lashes. I haven’t found one, single mascara that can push all those buttons for me.

Believe me, I’ve been looking. But I do like using Big Ego.

I really wanted to love this mascara. However, something was a bit off about it. I think the wand was a bit too large and chunky, and since my eyes are kind of small and narrow, it didn’t work too well with them.

I had to really get in there to reach the right spots, and it took a while to build the volume I wanted, but it is AMAZING for length if that’s what you’re going for, DEFINITELY give this one a try. If you like Too Faced’s Better than Sex you will like this one, the wand shape is almost the same, just a tiny bit bigger.

I personally have the unpopular opinion that better than sex doesn’t do much for me (probably because my eyes are so small) so if you’re a BTS fan take this review with a grain of salt. One pet peeve I have with this mascara in particular is that the wand is a bit wobbly which gets on my nerves, probably because it’s so bulky compared to the stick it rests on.

This mascara isn’t bad, it does what it’s supposed to do, but for my particular eye shape and needs, there are other mascaras that work better (eg, Lancôme’s Monsieur Big and Benefit’s Bad Gal Bang).

I’m sure you all know why I picked up this product. hot pink packaging lol. I absolutely live how bright pink the tube is that the mascara is in. This Big Ego mascara is a pretty good mascara. The wand is a thin hourglass shaped that has tons of tiny bristles.

The wand is pretty stiff so it allows for more control when applying the mascara. I enjoy how the wands separates all the lashes and coats each lash. The only thing is I wish the tip of the mascara tapered a little more so I can be more accurate with the lashes in the inner corner area.

The mascaras formula is not too wet not to dry and not too thick not too thin. It isn’t the darkest black when applied to the lashes but it still looks really nice. It doesn’t make the lashes clump together which I am very happy with.

Also my lashes don’t look like spider lashes which is a huge plus!! This mascara does help lengthen but I don’t see too much curl and volume. It is a pretty mascara on more natural makeup days. It is a slightly buildable formula.

It does dry quickly once out of the tube. This product does last quite a long time on the lashes but It can smudge so be careful. The things I don’t like are I wish that the color payoff was a little more dark black.

I also wish This mascara gave more volume and curl to the lashes and I also wish it didn’t smudge. I do like weakening this mascara on natural makeup days bc it does have them look like pretty natural lashes.

pros: 1. very affordable 2. truly waterproof cons: where to begin lol. 1. the wand is one of those that has virtually zero bristles, pretty much just a stick with grooves. it does not grip lashes at all and the formula makes this wand type problematic.

2. the formula is a whole other animal. it is so inky, to the point where the faintest blink or fidget will send a dot of it flying to your eyelid or under eye or whatever, which wouldn’t be that big of a deal of it wasn’t impossible to remove from skin.

wiping it causes it to smudge and stain, and since it’s waterproof you can just dab it off with a wet q tip either. also, it claims to be a lengthening mascara but as it delivers no curl and actually clumps to the point of weighing my lashes down, the mascara leaves me with fat little stubs for eyelashes.

it takes forever to dry and is not buildable either. once it’s dry, it is chemically bonded to your eyelashes and will go with you to the grave. if that is very important to you, perhaps you could make this product work employing and eyelash curler and much caution, but it’s not for me.

maybe the non waterproof version suits the formula better. I have not been able to get this off using my regular (cetaphil daily) cleanser. I’ve been literally having to rub it off between my fingertips LOL.

I’m guessing you’d need an oil based cleanser to remove? anyway, if you’re looking for a product that would be just like dipping your lashes in black cement, look no further.

I have finicky, straight lashes that stubbornly angle down. After irritation from my old standby (waterproof Full ‘N Soft) I wanted to try something else, and ideally it would also be cheap. Nearly every mascara I’ve tried does nothing for my lashes but this one works! It looks so good, defined and smooth, and lashes look long.

Formula is a little flaky but I don’t notice flaking throughout the day, just a bit after initial application. It doesn’t give as much fullness as a volumizing mascara, but I think it does a good job considering it’s supposed to mainly be lengthening.

It also holds a curl (I use a lash curler) as a normal waterproof mascara does. I had no issues with removal using coconut oil. I’m so excited to discover this hidden $3 gem!.

If you’re looking for mascara that has an average price, does not smudge and accentuates your eyelashes, then this is for you. I was a little suspicious in the beginning but the reviews were positive so I gave it a go.

It is a good product but ngl it does sometimes clump the eyelashes together if you let it dry. So I would recommend trying to get the clumps out of your eyelashes right after you put it on. Don’t let it dry.

Just to let you know, my eyelashes are pointing downwards and I use a primer before applying the mascara so that might also affect the results of this product but I am pleased with it overall. Anyway, it is a good and quality product, don’t let yourself fooled by the low price.

It’s better than many of those more expensive products.
