20 Best Magic Trick In The World (2023 Updated)

Bought this as a reward gift for my 7 y old nephew who had recently experienced being in an auto accident. He was very brave and calm to provide needed demographic information to the officer in the scene while his mother tried to compose herself.

I was so proud I wanted to give him a hero award. He specifically ask for a Magic Trick kit. He has had it a couple weeks and the C D provided does not work. The manual is not helpful. This is a kill- joy item for us all.

I give it a thumbs down. ;=(.

This magic set is good for younger children that are new to magic. Some of the materials that were used are the kind of cheap knic-nack type of toys that you would find in a gum ball machine. Even still it is a decent magic set for beginners.

The DVD was confusing for my son (8 years old) because it is quite fast paced and they don’t actually speak to explain the trick. I found myself having to watch it with him and I would pause and explain it to him.

This took a little of the fun out of it for him as he wanted to show me the tricks and I was having to show him.

Not as good as expected – packaging was poor as box was slightly damp, battered and torn. Somewhat disappointing.

4 stars as it is a Christmas gift but I imagine it will be just fine.

This review is written by a Professional Magician and his wife. Magic is a wonderful thing to introduce to children. After taking kids to a magic show, this kit may be a fun thing to play with. This Kit has its pros and cons.

We think it’s a fun item for a child to learn & practice tricks for delighting parents & other kids. On the upside, there are a wide variety of tricks & a detailed & illustrated instruction book. Some parts are a choking hazard – certainly age 6 is a good age for this – but be careful around younger children that the 6-year-old may be performing for.

It may be nice for an adult to learn the tricks & help teach with the child – if the child is having problems learning it by her/himself. Sponge rabbits: The larger ones should be smaller so the little hands can manipulate them more easily.

Magic Coin box trick works well, is well made, and kids will enjoy working with it. You may be able to fit real coins in the box to work with. And they will look better than the plastic coins that come with it.

Yes, the tricks are made of cheaper materials. Despite the cheap materials, it’s not too shabby though. Ball in vase trick – here’s where an adult may be helpful. Ours needed a little extra adult hand strength to assemble.

It’s a fun trick! x-Ray vision trick – very good trick! Some of these tricks, once learned, if pursued, may inspire the child to go to a Magic Shop and buy a more expensive and impressive version. Adults who shun this box of tricks, I understand where you are coming from.

But this was meant for a beginner, to gain experience and peak interest. The simplicity of the tricks make for a good start. A lot of items may break, like the cardboard tricks. Sturdier items like X Ray box and coin vase are very nice.

The rings are poorly made, but, again, once you get the trick, if you wish to pursue it, you can get a better ring. Optical illusion trick is cute. The colorful items may be dazzling to little eyes. We adults may be a a bit more jaded.

Again, this is not made for us. We’d certainly like to see this Kit improved upon, with more thoughtfully chosen, higher quality materials. It’s been fun to do the rope and wand tricks. A nice addition would be a magic handkerchief with stars on it.

The set has lots of different tricks. At first our granddaughter wanted to just figure them out but when we helped her go thru the instructions to do each trick it was lots of fun. We would practice a trick and then she would go show her parents.

Some tricks were really easy but others took a couple times of practice.

My 8 year old son had been eyeing this particular set for months. When he opened the box the solid, good quality bunny hat delighted him and he spent several hours playing with it. He was equally delighted with several of the other tricks like the disappearing coins.

Other tricks however didn’t capture his attention. However, I am not sure if this is a bad thing per-se as there are many different age ranges and personality types that buy this product.

I bought this as a gift for my 7 year old and she likes it. However, the Z wallet is missing so there are couple tricks that are not able to perform.

This magic set looked fantastic – plenty of great card tricks to keep the kids entertained. Unfortunately it was very damaged when I received my online delivery. I returned the product in store and received amazing service from the staff member I dealt with, who apologised for the poor state of the product and immediately refunded my money.

Bought this set as a birthday gift for my 9yo boy. Box arrived covered in a thin layer of dust and damaged. Definitely not something youre looking for as a birthday gift. This Ultimate set costs about twice the price of the regular set and still look very cheap, bad quality.

Very bad first impression, will likely be returned.

So many tricks and illusions! Includes a great variety of items so different family members can perfect their favorite illusions. The illustrated instruction book and the free app are helpful to learn the tricks.

Hi I’m a Kiwi living in Canada, and my whole other immediate family are in NZ. It is horrible to say we were “lucky” to come home for my Nana’s funeral in Sept 2019, but as we all know the Pandemic has happened and thousands of us cant get home.

Specifically, I bought a Marvins Magic Tin almost 5 weeks early (was worried about lockdown and definition of “essential” deliveries) and it was delivered promptly.

My Brother and Sister in law reported this morning (separately) that my nephew was excited and delighted with Marvin’s Magic Tin, and he was successfully performing magic tricks before school this morning.

More importantly, there’s hours of fun to be had in this product, they think he’ll be at it for days. Thank you so much – this product is fun, educational, and enduring.

I got this for my son and it has been so fun seeing him do tricks. It is really building his confidence. I would recommend.

Cheaply made is an understatement. The box fell apart/broke simply opening it and many of the tricks are unusable because the poor quality of wood and the majority of them are cut incorrectly. Only buy if you need a gag gift and not for a child.

They will only become frustrated it’s not working, embarrassed when they attempt a trick, and disappointed.

The quality of this magic show is far better than any of the other ones because it is made out of wood as opposed to the other plastic ones. It will last a long time

So happy with Marvin’s Magic!! Fantastic quality and tons of fun for my kids and I. I would definitely recommend this for kids of any age. Great time to bond with the family, with lots of laughs!!

I presume it is all the above as I bought it for my grandson’s birthday and have had no complaints to date.

Don’t waste your money! Just don’t! Mostly just a book with a few props…the props are cheaply made! The book is not easy to really understand… not as much fun as it looks like it would be!

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter so she could perform at her school’s talent show. She was so happy with it and her performance was a great success. I like that there is a DVD that shows step by step instructions.

The magic tricks are mostly for young kids between 7 and 10. They are very basic and for the most part the solution can be guessed easily. It will be entertaining only for kids performing them on other kids.

But it is not a bad set for beginners to get the concept of performing in front of a crowd.

The kit came mussing one prop. I like that there is a dvd and digital version of tutorials. The kit came with several pinch out cardboard tricks these were not tought in the tutorials but in the written book that came with the kit.

The kit got mailed to me on time. Its price is equal to what othrr nagic kits cost Overall i would recomend this product to someone starting out in magic.

I ordered this set for my Grandson and he loved it!! Some of the tricks he really fooled me on,I did help with some of the others. The set offered a lot of different tricks some easier and some a little bit harder.

My Grandson(10) just told me some of the tricks are too hard for him but it fun and he really enjoys it!! It is a work in progress.

Got for my son for Christmas. He loves it. Was just doing a bee trick this morning. I wish it was a little more advanced but did beginners its great.

Great fun, it was for my Grand kids, but have decided to keep it for my self, love the tricks

We bought this as a Christmas gift for my 8-year-old son. I would say most of the tricks he did manage to learn are simple and fun, but for the most part it was just a little overwhelming; TONS of little pieces, and lots of steps in the directions for some of the tricks, which made my son lose interest pretty fast.

He’s not the best at memorizing things, and of course if you don’t memorize each step, the whole trick is spoiled. I think for an older kid this might be better; but good grief, 100 tricks is a LOT. I don’t see any kid enjoying this set long enough to learn all 100 tricks (if there really is that many; we didn’t get that far.

) Would not order again.

Gave this to 10 year old grandson for Christmas. Within 15 minutes of opening the gift he had a top hat on, his magic wand in hand and was wowing the audience with the magically disappearing ball trick.

So much fun! There are LOTS of tricks so consequently lots of parts. The box the set comes in is also the magician’s trunk. Everything is stored inside. Gav read the trick instructions himself and could follow along and do the trick.

Someone younger might need some assistance. I’m sure there will be many more thrilling magic performances to come! Good gift.

I purchased this item, but instead received something similar called 100 trick suitcase (not the same as the one pictured which is called Magic SHOW). The one pictured included an instructional dvd which is why I specifically chose this magic set.

The product I received made no mention of the dvd on the box and the box looked very different. Because it is a gift, I did not want to open it and dig around through the box. So until the kiddo opens the gift, I have no idea what exactly we are getting.

This box of tricks is extraordinary value for money. Our 6 year old granddaughter easily learned how to do some of the tricks although some will need a fair amount of practice. But that means the novelty will last.

Bought this for my son, for his 8th. He loves it, it has kept him occupied for hours. Hes definately learning the value of patience and perseverance, although unaware of this as hes busy exploring and having fun.

My 9 year old loves this magic set. Great range of tricks and easy enough for him to master with practice.

Purchased tis for a grandson that is trying to learn magic trick. I was very disappointed – when it arrived the box had no weight to it. Upon opening the content are very cheaply made. Will not make the mistake of ordering anything like this again.

This kit is simple yet engaging. It really excited my daughter to be able to perform for us. I would definitely recommend.

Self-Vanishing Headphones is a clever and well done utilization of an ancient principle that allows you to show a set of Apple Airpods in its case which you can close and immediately show empty, the Airpods having vanished.

This is a close-up (or virtual performance) prop, and while Eric Jones can make it look genuinely cool, I love the comic potential it offers. Having two teenage kids who have each lost at least two sets of the genuine article each, I imagine showing two or three cases with only one containing Airpods.

You could then use the cases to perform a shell-game routine that is easy, funny and topical. Such a routine would be virtually self-working; unlike almost any other shell game routine, and you could still end with Eric’s great “from your ears reveal,” taking the heat completely off the gimmicks.

The online video instructions include performances by Ryan Tricks and Eric Jones, with Eric giving the clear and insightful instructions. The prop itself is well-made and totally deceptive. While limitations of the gimmick will make some adjustments necessary, I look forward to creative magicians taking the Ball and Vase routines of experts such as Mike Skinner, Mike Gallo and Eric “Mike” DeCamps, and applying them to the Self-Vanishing Headphones.

Lets start off with the good parts, it looks like an apple AirPods case. It is a great trick and it works 99% of the time. The 3 main problems I had with this product were the charging port, the headphone slots, and the durability and weight.

The changing port on the bottom of the headphones case was only half painted resulting in a half shiny and half white look. The slots where you would stick the ends of the headphones if you were to put some in there only went down a centimeter at most.

The final issue was the durability and weight, compared to a actual AirPods case this case is at least half as light, and the product feels like it isn’t solid and would break easily if it was dropped pin the ground.

In conclusion this is a great product and the effect is amazing, only it could have been better built so don’t drop it or maybe you’ll have to buy another one.

Just came up with my own advanced handling where the air pods are in my ears to begin with. Then I take the case out of my pocket as I open it to put the air pods back in their case they can see iv clearly put them in there as I close the case I ask the spectator to hold onto them as I proceed to take a selfie with them.

They can see there are nothing in my ears but as soon as the picture is taken they reappear out of nowhere in the picture and also when they look at me too they are still in my ears when just a moment ago they weren’t.

Then I have them open the case where the spectator can see they are no longer in the case. Unforgettable moment for the spectator and also a memory of my magic to keep forever. Best trick with airpods ever.
